WISM2 states

If it is possible to use two wism2 in two 6513 module in active and active state ? if there any license or something. or we can use it only in standby and active (i mean HA SSO), i think it could be better in load balancing, cause we can use on wism2 for some portion of ap, and second one to another portion

That is my preferred method, but that requires WLC with license. AP SSO doesn't allow for that.

WiSM2 with 7.4.110.0 & dhcp stats

Hi,
WiSM2 HA with 7.4.110.0 and DHCP proxy enabled. If we run "show dhcp stats" command, only the initially defined dynamic interfaces are showed. All dynamic interfaces are defined in the same way (only VLAN and related IP parameters are different, all interfaces has a external primary DHCP server asigned and proxy mode is global).
Any idea?

AP name is not consistent in APs Join Stats.

i have strange issue in my controller (WISM2) AP name is not consistent in APs Join Stats page while the naming is consistent in Wireless status page.as shown below.

The problem solved after i cleared the access point from join AP stats. then restart it after that will join with normal name.

Cisco AP 2702 can't join WiSM2 7.6.130.0

i got these msg log from AP. AP got ip address but can't discover WiSM2. other model 3502/2602 it's ok.

In our case we wanted to use the DNS Entry CISCO-CAPWAP-CONTROLLER.domain.name to discover the controller. As older APs (1240) were able to connect I tried with the recovery image (downloaded on Support)

AP SSO WISM2 WLC 7.4.121

HI everyone,
I'm currently doing a proof of concept on the AP SSO feature running on WLC 7.4.121.
The first thing I would like be sure is that client SSO is not avalaible in 7.4.X release, i need to upgarde to 7.5.X, Am I right ?
The second thing I would like to share and investigate with you is about AP SSO not currently working in my topology.
I have 2 seperate C6500 (SUP720-3B) switches with 1 WISM2 in each and both switches interconnected trough a 10G port.
I enable AP SSO on both WLC that synchronize themselves trough the 10G port on a special redundancy VLAN.
They both synchronize, and everything is working (both AP database on primary and standby WLC).
What I can't understand is when forcing switchover on the primary (redundancy force-switchover command), the fallback is doing great to the standby WLC but the AP still get into CAPWAP DISCOVER state because of a timeout with the following logging message

So the SSID is unavalaible for a certain period of time as it would be with N+1 redundancy.
I also saw that some documentation said that tle WLC needs to be run on a VSS (

Yes you need 7.5 version on WLC for Client SSO.
I never seen this tiype of error, You must contatc TAC and tell them about this issue.

WISM2 in Maintenance mode

After enable HA, both WISM2 modules are stay in Maintanance mode.
How can I undo this state.

That is a known bug. Have you tried power cycling the WiSM2 modules? You have to maybe shut one down or both to get it out of maintenance mode. I know you have to remove AP SSO also and then re-enable that again. There isn't a good way to do it without powering down the WiSM2.

CAPWAP messages WISM2 7.5.102

Hi.
I have a question about a CAPWAP messages in my trap logs after upgrading my WISM2 to 7.5.102.
AP "xxxxxx", MAC: 34...... disassoiated previously due to Link Failure Uptime 4 days , 10 h... Reason: Capwap WTP Event request
My AP environment is 1142N attached thru WS-2960S switches. This message was not in my traplogs before upgarding to 7.5.102.
The switch and WAN environment is the same as before upgarding.

Thanks for you reply. I´m not sure if my radio stuck, what looks for me that AP lose conectivity for a brief moment with WLC and then recovery connectivity (flapping).
I have APs(same model) at same site without issues, and APs (same model) in others site with same behavior.
AP model LAP1141N
Below logs are from AP reboot process... however joining erros occurs several times during the day... and association time with controller keeps reseting (example: AP up time 1d / association time 15 min).
That instability to AP association creates WLAN instability, because my authentication is central.

Cisco 3502i AP operation status in downloading in controller wism2

Hello folks,
I have an issue with two APs (3502i) which is associated to controller wism2. Total number of APs are connected to this controller is 422 and once I added two new APs (3502i) to this controller I am unable to see these APs coming up. Getting error messages like wrong primary controller nad secondary controller. When I loggedin to the controller through CLI following are the details I am getting for the APs which is not registering to the controller:, Also for comparison I am attaching the statistics for the AP which is working good and is able to register.
Note: I thought the problem with these two APs and will try replacing them but when i connected the other two APs to different switch and different subnet the same errors we are seeing. This is something urgent to fix and need your assitance to fix this at the earliest. Please let me know if more information needed.

The new Cisco 3500 WAP (S/N: FTX1602K7LT) is running WLC version 7.2.103.0 but the older one (S/N: FTX1432S2F5) is running WLC version 7.0.116.0.
You could try by consoling into the new WAP and deleting the CAPWAP image and leave the RCV image alone.

I have seriously thought about that solution; but I don't think it's a smart way to do it.
If i do it like that, i need to copy the whole table and paste it inside the if statements.
I have two xml elements that I need to make the decisions on. POH_PO_TYPE & CP_RELEASE_NUM.
POH_PO_TYPE can be: STANDARD, RELEASE or BLANKET.
CP_RELEASE_NUM can be: '' or N
If POH_PO_TYPE is RELEASE AND CP_RELEASE_NUM is not ''
OR POH_PO_TYPE is STANDARD
OR POH_PO_TYPE is BLANKET AND CP_RELEASE_NUM is ''
THEN show table (which contains the whole PO).
It shall show the content of the PO in any of these cases.

Filename in import statement

Thank you for your response.But I think my quesition was not clear.My ques... is for suppose there is one datafile for importing like.. "datafile_21" Here my intention is it takes file from datafile_21 only but it appears in import statement like datafile_21<<curmon>>.

In this it takes datafile from datafile_21.But it appears like datafile_21_AUG in import statement.This AUG coming from batch file.

No it is not possible.
I assume the data file "datafile_21" is first renamed to datafile_21_${CurrMth} in the batchscript.
After that this data file *datafile_21_${CurrMth}* is pointed in the import statement.
In the logs you will see this file as datafile_21_Aug.

Help with if statement in cursor and for loop to get output

I have the following cursor and and want to use if else statement to get the output. The cursor is working fine. What i need help with is how to use and if else statement to only get the folderrsn that have not been updated in the last 30 days. If you look at the talbe below my select statement is showing folderrs 291631 was updated only 4 days ago and folderrsn 322160 was also updated 4 days ago.
I do not want these two to appear in my result set. So i need to use if else so that my result only shows all folderrsn that havenot been updated in the last 30 days.

How do I incorporate a if else statement in the above cursor so the two days less than 30 days since last update are not returned. I do not want to send email if the project have been updated within the last 30 days.

I have the following cursor in a package specification;
cursor c_sales_code is

from sales;This will return something like: 'T300 MC 9'
MC means 'multiple choice' for when there are multiple options. Although, sales_option is sometimes null and in this case I just want 'T300' to be returned, not 'T300 MC'.
How would I go about doing this?
