Won't let me log into any websites

Dear sir/madam,
I'm a new member of firefox as I decided to give up with google's terrible cutomer service but I have tried several times to log into websites such as twitter, google, tumblr and many others however none of them are actually logging in. I can confirm all the usernames and passwords are correct however everytime I type them in it just goes back to the homepage of the sites but not with me logged in.
I tried to reset the passwords to see if that help but still no progress, what should I do?

Details like websites remembering you (log you in automatically) are stored in a cookie.
*Create a cookie 'allow' exception to keep such cookies, especially in case of secure websites and when cookies expire when Firefox is closed.
*Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: Exceptions
If clearing cookies didn't help then it is possible that the cookies.sqlite file that stores the cookies got corrupted.
*Rename (or delete) cookies.sqlite (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete other present cookies files like cookies.sqlite-journal in the Firefox profile folder in case the file cookies.sqlite got corrupted.

Sorry just re-read your original post and realized that my answer doesn't address you problem:
"If the problem is that Safari won't display a login screen when started, try going to a different website than is displayed when you start Safari. When I have this problem, I select another website from my bookmarks and am redirected to the login screen. It's strange, but it works."
So..., what is happening that it won't let you login? Keyboard not popping up? Website won't accept input?

My cookies are turned on, but Firefox and other internet browsers aren't saving them, therefore not letting me log into any websites.

I think there is a security error with my computer/browser, help?

It is possible that your firewall is blocking cookies if it happens in other browsers as well.

Won't let me log into some of my accounts.

My HTC droid incredible 2 won't let me log into some of my accounts. So Far it's only two accounts but still odd. When I try to log in to ether Hulu or windows live mail it gives me the invalid email or password. I have looked at the login info and they are correct but it just won't let me login. anyone have any suggestions?

I want to get those accounts working for you Rempel2012! Those are certainly two very different accounts to be having trouble with. Is your Hulu account tied into your Windows Live Mail account with the same log in? Are you trying to log into these accounts through your web browser or through an application on your phone? Many of these log in errors may just be a result of the case sensitivity for the log in. Are you able to see the username and password as you enter it into your phone?

IPhone won't let me log onto any site which requires a username and password

Hi there,
My iphone 4 (ios5) has stopped letting me log onto any website which requires a username and password. They have all worked in the past but have stopped working. My iPad is fine.
It happens if i am connected to wifi or 3g.
Has anyone else suffered this?
I have restarted the phone and done a backup and restore.
Any advice would help.

Sorted it. In settings - safari - privacy was set not to accept any cookies. I have changed that to accept from visited. Now working ok again.

My Apple ID and password won't let me log into MobileMe

Aloha, I need help ASAP. I had made a home page for my business in June, 2011. I didn't touch it for one month, now it won't let me log in with Apple ID and the original pass word. It requests me to create a new pass word, so I did many times. Still no result. HEEEEEEEEELP!

Is this what you are trying to do...
Settings > iTunes and App Store > Apple ID = Sign Out...
Then Sign In using the preferred Apple ID.
Note:
Anything Downloaded with a Particular Apple ID is tied to that Apple ID and Cannot be Merged or Transferred to a Different Apple ID

Won't let me log into other admin acoount no more..

Hi, I've had my Imac for 5 yrs now and never ran into this problem before. My husband has filevault on his account and I don't.We are both admin. I log into my account daily and have no problems. A few days ago, we had bad weather....while loggin off his account, the filevault or firevault(sorry for my stupidity here ) came on and was doing it's thing...than power went off. Never though much of it until I tried to logged into his account yesterday and it does nothing and freezes there. I enter password and click log in and it does absolutely nothing at all!! I press return, but it doesn't even try to log it. The curser stays there...than I have to power off/on cause it won't let me go back to log into mine. Can anyone help me! Obviously there's a corruption on his side...I did the startup disk with the CD on mine and repaired disk and permissions, did the pram and all....still nothing..Any suggestions pls? Lorraine

# Select the disk image in Disk Utility.
# Click the First Aid tab.
# Click the Verify or Repair disk button, as desired. Note: If the image has issues than cannot be repaired, you may need to transfer files to a different location as discussed in this article.
# When finished, quit Disk Utility.
# Unmount (eject) the mounted disk image volume.
# Get Info on the .sparseimage disk image file again, and change the owner back to the original account name. Note: If this is not done, your Home may not be available when logging in as the protected account.
# Get Info in the enclosing folder in /Users again, and change the owner back to the original account name. Verify that this is successful by closing and trying to open the account name folder (you shouldn't be able to).
# Log out and log back in as the original, FileVault-protected account.
Or with the Disk image mounted, now use Easyfind to search it for those pics or folder.

Apple TV won't let me log into Apple ID

I'm trying to set up my Apple TV in my dorm and when I click the Computers section and log in with my Apple ID and password, it won't recognize it for some reason. I definitely have the right password, and even changed it just to make sure. The internet shouldn't be a problem because it's connected via an ethernet cord. I've reset the settings and tried redoing it but nothing changes. It also won't let me update it for some reason, and won't let me restore it because it needs to update to do that. I have the 3rd generation Apple TV model and I have home sharing turned on for my computer and the latest version of iTunes.

HT5625 I reset my password, but it still won't let me log into iCloud. I have not ever been able to sign up for it, I don't have the original email to do so. Please help.

Could be the keychain is corrupted..
Quit Safari.
Open Keychain Access /Applications/Utilities
Select Passwords on the left.
Type AT&T in the search field to locate that keychain(s).
Then right or control click the keychain(s), click Delete.
From the Keychain Access menu bar click Keychain Access > Keychain First Aid. Click Verify, if necessary, click Repair.
Relaunch Safari. From the Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Autofill tab.
Make sure User names and passwords is selected.
Now select the Privacy tab in Safari > Preferences. Click Details. Type AT&T in the search field then click Remove All > Done.
Now disable the Lion resume feature.
Open System Preferences > General
Deselect: Restore windows when quitting and re-opening apps
Restart your Mac, try logging into the AT&T site.

Changed iCloud id...now won't let me log into iCloud after software upgrade

I changed my Apple/iCloud id a few months ago from one email address to another. Now, after I upgraded to iOS 7, it won't let me use my new id and keeps asking for the password for the old one. How do I fix this?

Do a backup. Boot to the Recovery Volume (command - R on a restart or hold down the option/alt key during a restart and select Recovery Volume). Run Disk Utility Verify/Repair and Repair Permissions until you get no errors. Then re-install the OS.

Help For Newbie!!! Won't let me log into Facebook, etc!!!

I am new here so if this is in the wrong area I am sorry.... Anyways I deleated my History/Bookmarks manually through bookmarks in Safari two days ago, and I was in Pizza Hut with the family yesterday and tried logging into facebook and other "Log In" sites and it wouldn't allow me to do so.
It would "Log" me in and say I was signed in successfully then it would direct me back to the main page because I wasn't logged in successfully.
All help in this situation is greatly appreciated.

Same thing happened to my wife the other day. Just re-install the facebook app again.

Firefox won't load parts of web pages or let me log into certain websites

I don't quite know how to really explain this, so I'll provide two examples of the problems I'm experiencing:
The first is that, whenever I go onto any of those Wikia sites, Firefox doesn't seem to load anything other than the main page content. By this, I mean that it won't load any "Recently edited/added pages" box or "Recently uploaded images" box on the right hand side of the page, nor will it open the Contents tab to navigate different sections of the main page content itself.
Another problem I'm having is logging in to a website I usually frequent. It uses Facebook, Twitter and/or Google+ to log in, and the site has recently started running on Flash and Silverlight. Up until a few weeks ago, I am unable to log in to this website for the same reason as the example above - it just doesn't seem to load after clicking to log in, yet the rest of the site is fully functional.
In regards to the former example, I did manage to do something with Java that managed to fix it, however when attempting to emulate the solution when it happened again, nothing happened. I'm unsure of what the problem is. Can someone help?

You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:
You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
*Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
*Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
*Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
Clear the cache and remove cookies only from websites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
*Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
*Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

You can open the Web Console (Firefox/Tools > Web Developer).
Check on the Network tab if any content is blocked and has a file size 0 (zero).
