Changing customer master record.
Use T.Code XD02.
Enter Customer No,Company code,Sales Org, Distribution channel and division and press Enter or
Enter Customer no,company code and click on customer's sales area, you will see Sales Org, Distribution channel and division,select the Sales org,Sales Org, Distribution channel and division and press enter.
You can make necessary changes to customer master

What bapi or FM can create/change vendor master data?

We want to do a rfc to create/change vendor master data .If use BDC,the change function is very very complex,but i can't find any BAPI/FM in sap!

Authorization control for creating change request transaction

We are creating the Change Request(SDCR) through support desk message by using action Create Change Document.
How can I control the creation of Change Request Document(SDCR).
By which roles i need to control this.

I have removed the role SAP_SUPPDESK_PROCESS & tried to create Change Document . It allowed me to create.
Can you check & tell exactly which role is for creating Change Document.

Workflow and settings for best quality .png export

I need to export a vector image to a .png for use on Retina display devices. What is the workflow and settings for exporting that results in the best possible quality .png image?

The workflow I used to produce the previously posted image on a WIndows 7 PC:
File>Export>Set "Save As" type to PNG
Upon pressing the "Save" button a PNG Options window will appear.
Resolution: Screen (72 ppi)
Anti-Aliasing: Type Optimized (Hinting)
I contacted Adobe support and they told me that the only way to export .png is via "Export" or "Save For Web".
"Save For Web" is designed to compress and I wanted to avoid that to ensure retina display quality.
I chose 72 ppi instead of a higher setting (support suggested I use 300 ppi) because Apple retina displays do not recognize ppi above 72.
The Anti-Aliasing setting was my default and I read somewhere that this was the best for getting crisp edges on retina displays (Sorry, I cant recall the source)
My concerns are that the export and anti-aliasing make larger files and I'm not convinced they are noticably better quality than "Save For Web".
Also, it's worth noting that the support was clearly reading from a reference guide. It was not a "real" expert that could explain the best workflow.

Change the Layout for Create Change Display and   Alv List

I am working on Custom Development WD Application for Maintain   Employee.
I need to Get help/advice to hadle the two Problems.
1) In my application I have to provide Create,Change & display Employee.
Customer needs seperate Link/Application for all Create , Change and Display in Portal.
I thought I am planning to Create Three Application in the WD Component(Create,Change & Display) while Pressing the Application I have to find out what is the Application They Pressed in the Componenet Controller to Change the Layout/Field (Edit/Display/Visisble) according to Create/Change/Display Employee.
For this How to Find the Application name of the WD Componenet.
2) To show the Employee List I am having using ALV LIst.
But my List consuists of 35 Fields. Customer not ready for scrolling the List to see all columns.
I thought I am planning to provide Visible/Invisble columns after providing one button.
If they pressed this button It will next set of Columns with out scrollibng.
How to handle this ?
Kindly help/advise me for both the Problems to proceed further.

Are they planning to buy Wide Screen monitor ??
I am not really fan of the solution you propose, at the same time i am not having better idea. I would get the customer on table and see how they would like to have the presentation of 35 columns without scrolling.
ALV provides customization, in that way users can select their own list of columns.

Illustrator and Photoshop for creating web banners?

My company for years has worked with print products. We recently started creating web banners. We use Illustrator for the layout for print and Photoshop for the layout of web products. I have artists who dont see the difference between the two. They want to continue to create web banners in Illustrator. Or they want to export the Illustrator file into Photoshop with the layers. But, to export it this way it has to be cmyk. ugghhh. Can somebody please give me valuable reasons on what application is best and why? Thank you very much!

Not true.
Illustrator is "best" for vector. Photoshop is "best" for raster.
I would let your artists work in whatever program they feel they produce the "best" art. You should be able to quickly and easily develop a workflow around their needs. If you cannot, then you have your answer too.

Prerequisites and requirements for a change of Fiscal Year in BW?

Hello:
We are planning for a change in Fiscal year. Our current Fiscal year starts from Apr 2010 - Mar 2011. But the change will be or should be done in Feb 2011 which means the new Fiscal year will start in Feb 2011.
What are the implications for this change? What prerequisites and other requirements should be taken into account.
It would be a great help if you could give me a procedure for achieving the above.

Once you transfer global settings from source system, I hope BI should work fine.

one i have created my 5.1 ac3 encoded file waht are the requirements to get the dolby authorization and what is the correct workflow?

You do not need Dolby authorization to use a Dolby Digital file on your DVD. Only if you want to use their logo.
If you want permission to use their logo, you must go to their website, request the authorization packet, fill it out completely, and provide them with a proof of your printed materials and enough time for them to get around to approving it and get back to you.

User exit for creating/deleting vendor master

Hello Gurus,
I have this task that to update this customized transaction we have for the certification list of the vendors. What they want is every time that there is new vendor master to be created or deleted in XK01, the customized transaction we have for the certification list of the vendors should be updated. I am thinking to suggest link the table LFB1 and LFA1 to the custo tcode we have to satisfy the business needs. Or any other suggestions? What are the user exits that can be use and link the creation /deletion vendors to my customized program? Technical team is asking for the user exits but not aware of them

We have this customized tcode where we input the vendor and materialu2019s expiration date manually. Then client wants to enhance that custo tcode with features when creating and deleting vendor in XK01 transaction, the new vendors data will also be automatically updated the custo tcode we have before. Its like everytime there is new vendor created, the custo tcode we have before will be updated with the new vendor data(not automatically input) then if the vendor is deleted, the vendor entry in the custo tcode we have before will also be deleted.
I found the user exit SAPMF02K but according to the technical team it is not applicable to our issue. Any suggestions or comments or other user exit that we can use to develop this new request wanted by the client?

Workflow and uses for iBooks Author ?

Before I begin I want to thank the developer team from Apple for the last update. Now all the iBooks in my library are opening smoothly and the system is not locking up anymore. Thanks guys.
Besides the typical Questions, Problems, Suggestions, . . . I'd like to hear how others WRITERS are using iBooks and how they have incorporated it into their daily workflow.
I don't think there are many writers out there using iBooks Author as a complete replacement for their notes, outlines, and drafts. But, I would think that they would share some kind of common approach before publishing a book.
For me, I'm guessing you would need a good calendar to keep a schedule, a notebook to catch all your thoughts and some form of a word processor to organize your thoughts, create an outline, and start writing the chapters.
The combination of The iPhone, Siri, iCal and Notes seems to work perfectly to catch thoughts before they make it to a written page. Thank you Apple.
Entering text directly into iBooks never worked well for me. So I prefer to pre-write the copy and paste it into my iBooks file. To do this I use an app called iA Writer but you always have the option to use Pages if you feel more comfortable in that environment.
I'm sure we would all like to think that we are going to start publishing books and make a lot of money. But odds of that happening are very slim. The point is to focus on the true strength of using iBooks Author and for me that is publishing my own content to my iPad.
Here are a few examples that I would like to share with you, if you have any others ideas please post your thoughts here.
Make your own List of Affirmations.
Once you read a book you can always write a review that highlights your thoughts at the time of reading.
Create a Menu or your own recipe book.
Create scrapbook.
Document a time period.
Use it as a business tool to distribute company information to clients.
A student can maintain class notes, highlight them, and create study cards.
Create some form of yearbook or travel log.
I recently made a complete timeline that includes all the major events in my life.
Don't forget you can use aperture to create a short introduction video explaining who you are and why you are publishing your book.

EC01 is used for organization structure,here one compay code how many plants you assigned and how many purchase organizations assigned like you do here
were OX10 is changing address and creating new plants etc,but in EC01 we cant create plant
