Workflow ARU Patch 5778073 Issue

Hi,
I am installing OCS Version2 in Red hat linux AS 2.1. I have finished infrastructure and storage installation and started middle tier installation. As part of this I like to configure workflow before installing oracle files. According to the oracle document
***"""Oracle® Collaboration Suite Installation and Configuration Guide Release 2 (9.0.4.1) for hp-ux PA-RISC (64-bit), Linux x86, and Solaris Operating Environment (SPARC 32-bit)
Part No. B10874-03 """***I understand that ARU patch 5778073 needs to be applied, before Integrating Oracle Workflow with the Oracle Files schema.
With the support of oracle TAR I got 2 patches for DB version 9.0.2 and 9.0.2.1. But the storage DB version of ours is 9.2.0.3. Now i am in big confusion which patch needs to apply. I have updated the TAR. But so far i didnt get reply. Can anybody advice me. Urgent
Thanks in advance.
Regards
Durai

Hi,
I got reply form TAR that it is not related to database version.
Thanks

  • How to find ARU Patch 7993184

I am trying to install the Oracle Metadata Repository 10.1.2.0.3 into a 10gR2 RAC database. Note 260554.1 gives some information on this. It also says:
3.1.18 Patch Required Prior to Running the Metadata Repository Creation Assistant on a 10.2 Real Application Cluster Database
You must install ARU patch 7993184 before running the Metadata Repository Creation Assistant on a 10.2 Real Application Cluster Database. If you do not apply the patch, you will receive an error message during Oracle Ultra Search configuration.
I cannot find this patch ANYWHERE. Can someone help? Thanks.

Did you ever get an answer to where to find ARU Patch 7993184?
I am also trying to install the Metadata Repository into a Standard Edition RAC database.
Or did you find a way to make it work without the patch?
    Thanks!

  • SCCM 2012 patch compliance issue

    Hi All,
In my organization we are facing patch compliance issue.
in my clients all patches are installed and sent the state messages to MP.however most of the clients are having 0% compliance are showing in report.
in overall compliance report it is showing "compliance sate unknown" for most of the clients.
done the software update scan cycle, no errors in WUAhandler.log and windowsupdate.log
updatestore.log etc.files. however same location only few machines are showing 100% compliance and most of the machines are showing non-compliance (0% compliance)
please help us to resolve the issue.
Note: all machines are patches installed successfully. only report is showing "compliance state unknown"

How much time are you allowing? State messages are only submitted every 15 minutes by the client and information in the console is summarized every 1 hour (both by default); i.e., none of this is instantaneous.
Reports will reflect the up to info though. Have you directly examined WMI on a target system to verify it's patch compliance state?

  • Error msg in workflow after patching to 11.1.2.1.600

    Hi!
We have recently patched to 11.1.2.1.600 for our Planning solution and we get an error msg in workflow.
If the 'Planning Unit Hierarchy' is setup as 'Free form' we get an error message if the users open 'Manage Approvals', select 'Details' for a Planning Unit and then 'Change status'. The error message is 'There is no valid action that can be performed on the selected Planning Units'. If the 'Planning Unit Hierarchy' is set up as 'Bottom up' it works fine.
Have anyone else experienced this behavior in the 11.1.2.1.600-patch? Is there a workaround?
An SR is also raised towards Oracle, so hopefully we get an answer from them soon.
    Grateful for all answers!
    BR,
    Martin

We're having this issue after installing the 11.1.2.1.600 patch over .102 as well (this didn't come up as known issue), and the workaround of "use Bottom Up" doesn't work for us, because we want multiple planners in an organizational division to be able to write to the same PU at the same time. You can't do that with Bottom Up, because only one person can have control at a time.
So... the .601 patch still doesn't exist, and uninstalling the .600 patch didn't fix the issue. Support basically says, "it's a bug, use the workaround".
    So frustrating!

I had TAR with Metalink and we did go back and forth and could not resolve this issue till i found that the patch zip file p2133107_11i_SOLARIS.zip had the wfcoreb.sql and wfcores.sql script files for package spec and body which caused the problem.
Analyzing both spec and body, i found that the body had 4 parameters
    procedure Get_Error(err_name out varchar2,
    err_message out varchar2,
    err_stack out varchar2,
    maxErrStackLength in number default 4000);

Discrepancy between spec and body was the cause of the worker to fail. By adding the missing parameter i was finally able to continue with the install.
I even checked the latest update to this patch at Metalink and still find that the above error is not fixed.

  • 10.2.0.2 Patch Upgrade issue

    hi,
SAP was installed on 10.2.0.1 (SuSe Linux Ent 10 ) . now i am applying patch upgrade to 10.2.0.2. when  i am  doing patch the below problem was occured,
"Unable to create new central inventory at location /oracle/orainventory. A non empty inventory already exists at this location. Please select another location or clean the inventory at /oracle/orainventory."
please help me on this issue
    Regards
    Ramesh

    Hai,
Please check the oraInst.loc file has the correct entry or not.
File oraInst.loc should have the entries similar to the below:
    inventory_loc=/oracle/SID/oraInventory
    inst_group=dba
Check the permissions of this file as well, atleast the file should have read access to others.
Also check the permissions of /oracle/SID/oraInventory, it should be owned by ora<sid> user and group dba.

  • Workflow Pattern FYI Task Issue

    Hi,
    BPEL PM version 10.1.2.0.2.
I am trying to create a workflow using FYI Task pattern. I have only one action 'Acknowledge'. The task gets created and shows up in the worklist application under my group, but the status of the task is 'Withdrawn' and no action displays for that task. I want the task to be 'Assigned' to the group and let the process continue. The group user can then acknowledge the task whenever. I used the workflow wizard to create the task.
Why does the task show up as 'Withdrawn' with no action list? Has anybody encountered this issue before? Any help is appreciated!

I'm also seeing instances of tasks arriving on the worklist and then being immediately withdrawn (bpeladmin) ?
The call to InitiatTask fails :

  • ACS SE 4.1.1.23 patch 5 issue with users

HI There, I am facing very weired issue with ACS SE 4.1.1.23 patch 5. I am trying to add users in ACS it is added successfully but I can not see these users when I click list all users.
But I can see users are increasing in groups when I add users..but when I do list all users it say there are no users defined. and I tried to login with newly created users from devices  ....I am able to login with those new users.....
also when I go to that particular group in which I added new users....and say list users in group...I get message from ACS saying that "can not read users from group" ....
what could be issue any one has any idea....customer complained that he was unable to login to devices...with the users created on ACS...when I saw there was no users in database....then I added 2-3 users by looking at old passed and failed authentication... but I dont know how users got deleted automatically...even I tried to see appliance audit logs...could not see any thing which indicates someone deleted users...
please help me to solve this issue..
    Thanks

Issue resolved. The CRL that was being parsed from the cert was one level higher than the CRL that needed to be checked. The User CRL was ppointing to the Intermediate CA's CRL. I had to manually change the URL from this:
    http://DOMAINvmsp.DOMAIN.xxxx-xx.edu/pkipub/DOMAIN%20Intermediate%20CA%201.crl
    to this:
    http://DOMAINvmsp.DOMAIN.xxxx-xx.edu/pkipub/DOMAIN%20User%20CA%201.crl

  • HD WorkFlow, Having Real Time Issues

Hey I've captured 422 ProRess, I need to know is there a quicker way of working with it in realtime Mulitclip editing, other than conforming back down to HDV. I'm experiencing a lot of dropped frame issues.
In HDV I could cut realtime mutlclips but now that I've online with ProRess My system acts like it can't handle it which is nutz, I've got a killer system. I thought the proRess codec was suppose to be better than the HDV for this reason. Any workflow solutions would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks
    J.

What sort of drives is your media stored on? ProRes has a MUCH higher data rate than HDV. HDV is in the ballpark of 4MB/s, whereas ProRes is between 18MB/s and 24Mb/s. Getting multiple streams of HDV for multicam shouldn't be too difficult, but getting the same for ProRes...multiple streams? You need a pretty hefty RAID for this. Two Drive eSATA Raid 0 might work. Better to have a 4-5 drive Raid 0 or Raid 5. ProRes is lighter than Uncompressed HD, but more taxing than HDV...and again, you are trying to play back multiple streams when you are using the Multicam feature.

  • Standard Workflow - Lead to Opportunity -Issue

    Hi All,

  • 9.0.3 Patch - General issues

I'm opening up a thread so any issues with latest 9.0.3 patch can be discussed in one place.
If there are specific items with Structured FM or DITA, please use the thread in the Structured FM Forum - http://forums.adobe.com/thread/493912
This patch should update your version to FM9.0p250.

They did not fix one of the main issues, as reported here: http://forums.adobe.com/message/1927435#1927435
Several Unicode OTF/TTF fonts are still written as Times Roman to CMYK PDFs. I created a new test PDF using FM9.0.3, which you can download here:
    http://www.meissner-dokuteam.de/Files/Frame/Unicode_Font_Test_fm903_cmyk_rgb.pdf
Here I'm only using roman text. I encounter the same problems with several chinese and japanese fonts, which either completely don't work, or only certain fonts out of a family don't work. Interesting: In most cases the "W5" or "Medium" versions of Asian fonts fail.

  • Patched Deployments issue: "waiting for another installation to complete"

I have some percent of computers which runs into above state in monthly patch deployments. I could minimal information from execmgmr, udpatesdeployment.log,
CliSpy and Client Center etc tools but that doesn’t offer much help to nail down the issue completely. Have any of you dealt to resolve such issue successfully ? Is there any efficient way to handle this ?
    It seems I have
DeploymentA, waiting for the completion of DeploymentB, which in turn waiting for the completion of
DeploymentC. Is there any better approach I could take to nail down and resolve the issue. One of my finding is,  KB articles installs (SCCM R3, SCCM Asset Intelligence) causes these issue as they restart (upgrade sort of execution) the

    Vasu

    Hi Vasu,
This issue can be caused by a deployment was previously deployed and was now deleted. This was because the clients finished installation
and wanted to notify the Server that it is done, but since the deployment was deleted, it couldn’t Notify its progress to the site server and the CCM_DeploymentTaskEx1 got stuck.
Please use the following scripts to delete the instance to test this issue.

  • Automatize workflow PeopleSoft= FDM= HFM Issue

    Hi all,
We have created a batch to automatize a flow from PeopleSoft (PS) to FDM and HFM. In this batch we collect data from PS, mapping in FDM and load in HFM. With FDM via export script, we execute copy data in some scenario and consolidation task. (In HFM)
But when we have an error on the load file (wrong flow on BS, input on parent account…) the workflow is stopped! And then copy and consolidation task are aborted. We need to fix it because the process spent a lot of time, we execute this batch every night.
    We have some ideas:
    1)     Create a second batch when the first is aborted, but what can we run copy data and consolidation in HFM ? (HFMBatch.exe)
    2)     Find a solution with FDM, modify setup or script ?
    Could help me?
Thanks in advance for your help.
    Jean Daniel

Not silly - I suppose logically i should have thought about it a bit more before giving my two penneth. I just read the bit that stated that it applies to ERP Integrator and FDM and maybe got 2 + 2 = 5. (As FDM can be strange animal at times though, it might just be worth a try!)
Another thing i have seen from a smartview issue relates to the SSO token timeout. If the token times-out before the timeout on the applications then you can get this message. Might be worth a look at the setting. However, i still think it might be worth a punt at setting up a user on FDM to see if it works.
sorry but just remembered something else. - Have you checked what authentication options have been defined on the FDM load balance server. For SSO you used to need to define your own SSO vbscript in the SSO authentication script but i think this might have been superceded by the Shared services authentication (CCS) if shared services is being used.

  • Remote patch management issues - AD required??

We are using ZCM10 and we're having problems with deploying patches remotely. That is running PM after hours by waking a PC, logging, deploying the patch and closing down. Something I was given to believe that ZCM would handle.
I'm being told by colleagues the reason that its not working is that we don't have AD and therefore MS patches won't work. We only have eDirectory for logins/GroupWise/ authentication etc.
So is it really necessary to have a domain running so that ZCM can wake up PC's login, deploy the patches, remediate and move on?
    Many thanks

AD is by no means required for any MS Patches using ZPM or even not
using ZPM. Best to post details on the failures and ZCM version so your
    issue can troubleshot.
Also try to narrow down your issue.
Is the Issue the WOL? Logging On? The Patches Applying ever, even when
the PC is manually powered on and logged into?
