Workitems struck with UserDecision

Hi All,
       I need to know how to find workitems that are struck in user decision step. Is there a tcode to find the list?
Please inform.
Regards,
Anand

Hello,
"Stuck" is not a technical term. If you mean waiting on an agent, try looking for status READY in SWI1.

    ERROR:Unknown WorkItem Object with id #ID#..............
    Please help me out

    This error comes when the task instance with that ID gets terminated/finished and deleted. The solution is to restart the process you are trying to do. Also, check whether you have imported the required form in repository.

  • User Decision buttons(Approve,Reject) in workitem along with a tcode link

    Hi Friends,
    I have a requirement to give two buttons in workitem.so that when user clicks the workitem,
    he can get two options to either approve or reject the invoice.
    They also want to see the document,so i need to give the link for the transaction code in workitem.
    I have given the method as a default one in business object,and in method i am calling the transaction.
    but still my required output is not coming.Workitem is only executing the tcode,when i m clicking on the workitem.
    For this do i need to design a screen?
    If yes how to give the link in custimized screen.
    Thanks in advance.
    Madhu.

    Let's get clear.
    You have a decision workitem with two options.
    This step is linked to a standard Task which calls to method PROCESS from standard Business Obect DECISION.
    You should copy the standard task 8267 and in the new task create a reference to the business object and pass it from WF through binding.
    When the workitem is created a hyperlink will appear in Attachments box. When this link is clicked the default method of the BOR will be called. The key of the BOR instance was already defined with the binding.
    You can also attach more BOR instances passing them to the task through binding with the obect _Attach.Objects.

    Hi Radhika,
    I think SAP_WAPI_CREATE_WORKLIST fm will help you.
    Give the user name for whom you want to know the pending workitems as input parameter.

  • Sap ecc6.0 installation struck with share_pool_size problem

    hello gurus,
    I am tying to install SAP ECC 6.0 IDES on win  2003 SERVER WITH ORACLE.
    I AM DOING IT IN A VMWARE AND I HAVE ONLY 2 GB RAM AND 340 GB HDD.
    Installation stopped at import abap phase, 14 jobs completed and 4 failed
    i had checked the log, and it says "unable to allocate 4108 bytes of shared memory"
    I searched the forums, and came to know that it is a "SHARED_POOL_SIZE" problem.
    i had only 85 MB of shared pool, so i changed the size from ORACLE DIRECTRY
    in file INITSID.ORA: SHARED_POOL_SIZE 85 mb to 400mb manually and  saved it. restarted the system and started DB and installation.
    but now it shows a new error " CONNECT FAILED WITH SQL ERROR 1034 "
    i had checked the services of oracle they are running fine.
    any suggestions

    Hi,
    INITSID.ORA is the installation template file. As you already entered the loadphase, I doubt, that
    it will chang anything to edit this file at this stage.
    Login with "sqlplus / as sysdba" and issue
    show parameter shared_pool
    to validate that your corrected value is active.
    If not, change %ORACLE_HOME%\database\init<SID>.ora and restart the DB.
    And as already said, runnning SAP with 2 GB of RAM aint no fun at all,
    allthough it will do, as long as you run ABAP only and have enough swap. But given that you will need
    ~400-600MB for OS
    200MB db_cache
    250MB shared_pool (now way to use SPAM with that value, this is just to click around)
    200MB pga
    300MB ABAP programbuffer (no fun)
    A couple of MB for other buffers.
    A couple of MB for program memory.
    So there is not much left for stuff like extended memory, so every click, that retrieves some data
    will bring you directly into paging.

  • Ecc workitems appearing with CRM workitems.

    We have ECC workitems appearing on the Interaction Center agent inbox or We have CRM workitems appearing on the Interaction Center, but we cannot get both appearing in the Agent inbox.
    Following the Integrate Other SAP Systems in Workflow Inbox documentation
    We have done the   u2022     RFC destination
                                    .          The Transaction Launcer

    Can anyone  provide a concrete example of an ECC workitem and a CRM workitems appearing in the agent's inbox.
    Nothing we do seems to help.  If I remove the ECC from the RFC destination, we get CRMs and only CRMS.
                                                      If I add the ECC to RFC destination, we get ECCs and only Eccs.
    I need to show both.

    Hi,
    If you create a derived table and pull the objects i guess it should work. Other wise this error will throw up.

  • How to find struck po's in WF

    how to find struck po's in WF.
    Regards
    Suresh

    By using the Fm SAP_WAPI_WORKITEMS_TO_OBJECT you can get all workitems linked with the PO business object in the tables parameter WORKLIST     LIKE     SWR_WIHDR
    Now this worklist is a internal table read only those workitems for which the status is STARTED
    This will give you all the workitems which are started but not completed.

  • Using work managers to process WorkItems in a message driven bean

    Hi, I'm trying to get to grips with using a work manager (in 10.3) to process WorkItems concurrently, with the whole process being triggered by a JMS message. I've got everything working using the default work manager but I'm having problems switching over to using a work manager that I've created myself, using annotations to provide the resource ref.
    My current setup, using the default work manager, is (roughly) this:
    @MessageDriven(mappedName = "jms/tsrd.DependencyWorker", activationConfig = {
            @ActivationConfigProperty(propertyName = "connectionFactoryJndiName", propertyValue = "jms/connectionFactory"),
            @ActivationConfigProperty(propertyName = "ejbName", propertyValue = "tsrd.DependencyWorker"),
            @ActivationConfigProperty(propertyName = "destinationJndiName", propertyValue = "jms/tsrd.DependencyWorker"),
            @ActivationConfigProperty(propertyName = "destinationType", propertyValue = "javax.jms.Queue") })
    @Interceptors(SpringBeanAutowiringInterceptor.class)
    public class DependencyWorker implements MessageListener {
        private WorkManager workManager;
        @Required
        @Resource(name = "taskExecutor")
        public void setWorkManager(final WorkManager workManager) {
            this.workManager = workManager;
        public void doOperation(final WorkflowControlMessage msg) throws Exception {
             Work myWork = new ...
             workManager.schedule(myWork, listener);
    }With my spring config including this bean:
    <bean id="taskExecutor" class="org.springframework.scheduling.commonj.WorkManagerTaskExecutor">
        <property name="workManagerName" value="wm/default"/>
        <property name="resourceRef" value="true"/>
    </bean>And this works fine: when the JMS message is received I send a load of WorkItems to the default work manager and they get processed.
    Now what I'd like to do is change the spring config to this:
    <bean id="taskExecutor" class="org.springframework.scheduling.commonj.WorkManagerTaskExecutor">
        <property name="workManagerName" value="wm/MyWorkManager"/>
        <property name="resourceRef" value="true"/>
    </bean>Where I've already created MyWorkManager as a global work manager for the server, and it's visible on the admin server for the deployment.
    From the examples I've seen I know I need to add a resource ref for the MDB so that it can lookup the work manager using JNDI. We mainly use annotations, so I'd like to just be able to add this line to the MDB:
    @Resource(name = "MyWorkManager", type = commonj.work.WorkManager.class, authenticationType = Resource.AuthenticationType.CONTAINER, shareable = true)But when I try that my server refuses to start:
    Unable to deploy EJB: DependencyWorker from tsrd-mdb.jar:
    [EJB:011026]The EJB container failed while creating the java:/comp/env namespace for this EJB deployment.
    weblogic.deployment.EnvironmentException: [EJB:010176]The resource-env-ref 'MyWorkManager' declared in the ejb-jar.xml descriptor or annotation has no JNDI name mapped to it. The resource-ref must be mapped to a JNDI name using the resource-description element of the weblogic-ejb-jar.xml descriptor or corresponding annotation.So is there a way to fully configure my work manager just using the @Resource annotation, or do I need to add a weblogic-ejb.jar.xml file and put some specific config in there? Presumably if I do need to add an xml file then I'd need to put something like this in it?
    <wls:weblogic-enterprise-bean>
        <wls:ejb-name>DependencyWorker</wls:ejb-name>
        <wls:resource-description>
            <wls:res-ref-name>MyWorkManager</wls:res-ref-name>
            <wls:jndi-name>wm/MyWorkManager</wls:jndi-name>
        </wls:resource-description>
    </wls:weblogic-enterprise-bean>Am I also right in thinking that I don't need to add a dispatch policy to the MDB specifying MyWorkManager, because I don't actually want to dispatch the MDB to that manager, I just want the manager to be available to the MDB.
    Thanks.

    Hi, so I've added a weblogic-ejb.jar.xml file with a reference to the JNDI name of the work manager:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <wls:weblogic-ejb-jar xmlns:wls="http://xmlns.oracle.com/weblogic/weblogic-ejb-jar" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:schemaLocation="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee/ejb-jar_3_0.xsd http://xmlns.oracle.com/weblogic/weblogic-ejb-jar http://xmlns.oracle.com/weblogic/weblogic-ejb-jar/1.0/weblogic-ejb-jar.xsd">
        <wls:weblogic-enterprise-bean>
            <wls:ejb-name>DependencyWorker</wls:ejb-name>
            <wls:resource-description>
                <wls:res-ref-name>MyWorkManager</wls:res-ref-name>
                <wls:jndi-name>wm/MyWorkManager</wls:jndi-name>
            </wls:resource-description>
        </wls:weblogic-enterprise-bean>
    </wls:weblogic-ejb-jar>But I still get exactly the same error when I try to start my server. The example you referred to kind of cryptically suggests that adding a plan.xml suddenly fixed everything, but what am I missing here that actually hooks the work manager up to JNDI? am I getting these problems because I'm using annotations, or are people not supposed to access work managers in this way?
    Thanks,
