Workspace: Administration - System Messages

I'm debugging some consolidation rules and need to view the system messages, but I receive the following:
Too many rows requested. Please revise filters to reduce size.
Error Reference Number: {87A0105D-8A45-43FC-9EF0-013A5AA79A0E}
I can't filter any more, as I'm looking at only 1 day, 1 app. I think one way I can see these messages is in the backend tables, but I'm not sure which table to link to the HFM_ERRORLOG to view the text portion of the messages. Any thoughts?
Thanks!

Fine ! ... But, I have not access to the server, thus, I need to find another solution.
Have you already try to delete the log file, or to purge it? Is it possible?
Our version is HFM 9.3.1
thankis in advance

  • System message (like SM02) in AS Java

    Hi,
    I want to know if there is a chance to display a system administrator message to all WebDynpro and portal users currently logged on and logging on next.
    A similar functionality is available in transaction SM02 in a R/3 system.
    Thanks in advance
    Kilian

    Hi Kilian
    It is <b>possible to send a System Message</b> like SM02 in a Java System.
    Do the steps as described below:
    go to
    <b>http://<server-ip>:<port>/sld</b>
    login to it then
    go to <b>Administration</b>
    In Administration under <b>Server</b>
    there is <b>System Message</b>....click on that
    From there you define a system message that is shown to every user who logs on to the SLD.
    Set the expire time also.

  • System message - Base document exchange rate cannot be used

    Hi!
    I need an Information ... when I use the function "Copy From" i get the Draft Document Wizard where i set "Use Exchange Rate from Base Document." But when I select "Finish" I get the following system message: "Basic Document Exchange rates can not be used, the rows will be updated using the exchange rate target document.
    Why??

    Hi
    at the sales front
    the exchange rate should be always as per the Posting date this is standard, how ever if you wish you can manually overwrite the defined exchange rate
    at the purchase side you define the system wether you want the exchange rate to be from based document or as per the posting date in choose  Administration -  System Initialization - Document Settings -> Exchange rate base date (A/P documents)
    hope i made my point

    I believe your user ID is not contained within the group set up in the HFM configuration's "application administrator". This group is independent of the role "administrator" since it is set at the server level, not application level. The same group controls access to the enable/disable connnections, and logout users feature.

  • Get all system messages

    Hello Everybody,
    Well, I need to do an application to get all system messages and filter the messages I will need. The application run lotusscript codes from a Notes database, the application just do a database instance, choose the lotus agent and run it. What I need is get all those messages that will come from the lotus agent. I done a piece of the code to redirect all System messages for a file:
    printStream = new PrintStream( new BufferedOutputStream( new FileOutputStream("OutFile.txt") ), true );
    System.setOut( printStream );
    System.setErr( printStream );The messages from lotus agent continue goes to console.By the way, this code can not get the messages from lotus agent, I guess with JMS I can intercept these message. My doubt is: Can I do it with JMS? If so, Could you advise me, please?

    Don't bash csh!LOL!I'm glad some people like puns. Some of my friends do, some can't stand them!
    I don't know ksh. Our target system uses it--makes me type a lot, because I don't know how to use ksh
    history as well as I can use csh history. That's just setup though--must of it runs as a GUI.I don't like ksh either. Never had much luck with its history.
    I use bash and zsh. Both have csh-like history, plus arrow key command recall.I don't think I've used either. I don't even think we have them on our system [from a quick check] (not sure I'ved heard of zsh before). I used to use tcsh (which had arrow key command recall) in college, but then some of my jobs didn't have it, so I learned csh history, and can do quite a lot. Confuses some people, but is really quite easy once you get the hang of it. The system administrator at my first job did all sorts of things with sed/awk/nawk/etc.--drove everyone nuts, because no one knew what he was doing. I can do basic sed, and can use awk/nawk if I read the man page.
    Considering all the C programming I've done, you'd think I'd like the csh family more, but for some
    reason I ended up gravitating toward bash and the more I used it, the more I didn't want to switch to csh.Yeah--I stuck with what I learned first, since it does the job. I don't do shell script programming much, so I don't need to know too many gory details of that. I can do the "foreach" on the command line. I learned vi well in college, so I later never felt like learning emacs (even a console version). So, I do everything in vi now. I push a few extra escape and append characters sometimes if I have to write an MS Word document, but I like vi for my code editing. I tried typing Dvorak for a while when my job was writing requirements in MS Word. It worked well on my split keyboard, but couldn't adjust to a flat keyboard I got stuck with for a while. And vi and Dvorak just don't mix...so I'm back to QWERTY.

  • How to pop up a system message for a specific user when She/He log on SAP

    Hi Friends,
    As we know SM02 setting will pop up a system message to all users in specific client in a specific period when the user log on SAP system; and we can do the same thing via using function module SM02_ADD_MESSAGE.
    But now we want to pop up a message to a specific user ID when somebody log on SAP via this ID, instead of all user IDs in the client. Please do we have any similar traction / function module / class method to to do this job??
    Thanks in advance.
    Joe

    Below code can be used to send a pop up message to all users who are logged on to the
    system.
    DATA: MESSAGE(128) VALUE 'Test message'.
    DATA: OPCODE TYPE X VALUE 2.
    DATA: BEGIN OF USR_TABL OCCURS 10.
    INCLUDE STRUCTURE UINFO.
    DATA: END OF USR_TABL.
    CALL 'ThUsrInfo' ID 'OPCODE' FIELD OPCODE
    ID 'TAB' FIELD USR_TABL-SYS.
    LOOP AT USR_TABL.
    CALL FUNCTION 'TH_POPUP'
    EXPORTING
    CLIENT = SY-MANDT
    USER = USR_TABL-BNAME
    MESSAGE = MESSAGE
    EXCEPTIONS
    USER_NOT_FOUND = 1.
    ENDLOOP.
    In the above code just pass the desired user ID instead of All user ID's

  • SAP System Message: Syntx error or generation error in a screen

    dear sap basis gurus,
    i am currently having problems signing on to our DEV server. i get this error message:
    <SID>: SAP System Message
    Syntx error or generation error in a screen.
    it won't let me log on.
    there were no changes made on the server (i.e., profile parameters) lately. it was working really fine after our support package level upgrade about 5 months ago.
    have you encountered this problem before? please help me as there we have two imminent go-lives.
    thank you very much in advance.
    best regards,
    albert

    hello nick, ashok,
    thank you very much for your responses.
    i have already resolved this issue by just freeing up some space from our disks. not one of them was full though.
    i hope i would no longer encounter the error message.
    again, thank you.
    best regards,

  • Unique id For System Message

    Dear all,
       Any one can please tell me the unique id for System Message.  Also i want to know the unique id for 'yes' and 'No' in System Message. Its very urgent
    Thanks in advance
    with Regards
    G.shankar

    System message has formtype = 0. The Yes and No button has no ids for sap, but when you want to press one of this button, use sendkeys as SBO_Application.SendKeys("") or tab for No (default is Yes).
    For accesing to correct system message, use some global variable and there before showing system msgbox set some value and compare it after showing.
    hope it helps

  • Problem with GlassFish and Sun Java System Message Queue

    Hi,
    I used application server PE.8 and I upgraded to Sun Java System Application Server Platform Edition 9.0 Update 1 Patch 1, and I changed all my CLASSPATH and everything. My system is working fine, but the Sun Java System Message Queue that I used before is still showing the queues and physical queues of the previous application server, not the new one. Do you know if there is way to change that and link it to the new version?
    thanks

    Use an ESB like ServiceMix to bridge JMS providers
    http://servicemix.org/
    Or write your own MessageListener to consume from one JMS and publish on another one. Be careful with queues to avoid loosing the ordering - so you probably want to use a single MessageListener per subscription/queue - or to take advantage of Tibco's exclusive queues to ensure ordering is preserved. If ordering doesn't matter then don't worry too much about it and maybe have a pool of consumers to improve throughput

  • SAP Business One 8.8 System Messages

    In SAP Business One 8.8 when you have entered a document with a later posting then today if you then enter a document with todayu2019s date you receive the System Message "There is a document of this type with a later posting date". If you select the option 'Block Documents with eelier posting date' you know longer receive this message however we still need to the option to do this.
    I have a number of clients that would like to have the ability to turn this message on or off

    Hi Gordon,
    Yes I know you can select u2018OKu2019 and move on with the entering of a marketing document, however this is an extra click and when you are entering a large number of documents a day this can become painfully and that is the feedback from the customers, is there a reason why this could not be an option in the company settings? I know this will not happen overnight and this is why I posted the question of the development collaboration forum.
    Kind regards,
    Johnathon
