Wrong position of the APEX IR dropdown menus
After I customized IR theme with my own css, the menus drop down at the wrong place in IE. However this works fine in Firefox.
Can anyone help please?
I found the solution.
In the css of our company, the width of the body is 760px.
Since the position of the dropdown is calculated relative to the body, this causes the problem.
U can fix it by overriding the width of the body like this:

body {
width:100%;
</style>
I think it should work too if you do not specify any width for the body.

Wrong position while the rendering process
I have a very curions problem with After Effects CS6. I just made a composition with different tracked images which are in a video footage. In the preview everything is shown correctly. But when I want to start to render the grafics are not shown respectively in the wrong position. For making you a better understanding of my problem I just want to describe the scene of the composition. It is a scene in which a little boy is going along a street. He passes a shop with large windows. On these windows I try to implement some graffities. Because of the fact that the camera moves I had to track the movement so that the graffities on the windows are moving with the rest of the picture. For the tracking I use zero-objects. Because the boy covers on some parts of the scene the windows I uses also some masks. It's a lot of masks and grafics/graffities. As I told you the preview shows me all compositions correctly. But not the rendering. It shows the grafics on the wrong positions and some grafics are completely hidden. I tried so many things for correcting it. Had it to do with the so-called "priority" of the different layers in the timeline? Thanks for helping me.
We need a screenshot or a complete description of your composition with all the properties of the layers and question revealed. Without details a solution to your problem is nearly impossible.

How can I create secondary and tertiary dropdown menus whose choices are dependant on the parent?
Kind of a weird question; I know. I'm new to both the Adobe Developer forums, and to XMP in general.
Here's the basic gist of what I'm trying to do:
We've got a Group, Category, and Subcategory structure for a given variable. Obviously, the subcategories are unique to a particular category, just as the categories are unique to a particular group; so displayed as a tree:

The subcategories are unique to their categories; just as the categories are unique to their groups. In an effort to prevent garbage coming into the metadata, and because these groups, categories, and subcategories have already been defined, I'd like them displayed as dropdown menus; Once the user has selected a group for the file, the Category dropdown would appear (or become active) and display the Category choices available only to that group, and then do the same in terms of the Subcategory.
I'm guessing that I'll start with a closed choice, assign the values to the groups, and then write a function to display only the choices for that group in the category dropdown. Trouble is, I don't have a whole lot of JavaScript experience -- and the word I've seen tossed around in this area seems to be an Array -- so I'm wondering if I'm barking up the wrong tree. If anyone has some kind of direction to point me in, it'd be helpful.
I'm not looking for someone to do my work for me (that's missing the point) -- this is an exercise in learning XML, Some scripting, Flash Builder, and Javascript, and I'd really like to develop it entirely myself; because I am having fun!!

If so, to be honest, don't ("use it", I mean).
It might have been a reasonable approach to this sort of thing ten years ago, but it's not a very good way of doing this sort of thing these days.
This sort of thing is pretty easy to knock together with some HTML, JQuery to do some JS stuff and a CFC behind the scenes.
Indeed just using some binds to <cfselect> tags would be a better approach.

Although all photos in my libraries are rotated to the correct orientation, random pictures still show up in the wrong position when viewed on Apple TV.

Several of our iPhone users in the UK reported the problem this morning, and as the Apple fan in the office I've got the job of resolving the issue
The original Excel was an old .xls file, but I have saved it as a .xlsx and the problem still appears
I haven't spoken with our developer yet, but I assume he has created the Excel file using some programming tools rather that directly using Excel
In the meantime I have created a simply spreadsheet with 8 cells contain values
In the first 4 cells, I have formatted them using Currency, and have used the currencies USD, DEM, GBP and CHF
In the remaining cells I have formatted them using the Accounting option, using the same currencies
When I review the spreadsheet on the iPhone (or iPad), the first 4 remain the same yet the last four all show the £ symbol
I have now changed the Region Format of the iPhone to United States, and when viewing on the iPhone the bottom 4 values are now all showing the $ sign!
If I had created the spreadsheet I would have put the Currency code in a seperate cell and purely used a numeric format for the number, and there would be no issue. That might be the only solution
Yes, the Director has the full MS Excel app on his Windows 8 device, but I can't expect all of our clients to go and do the same, in business many of them will have the iPhone
We may have to change the way we produce the report because of Apple's failings here, and it's not the first time that we have had to change something because Apple devices can't display them properly

How do I stop images being in the wrong position when I convert them to 3D shapes? (Ps CC)
I am trying to make a soda can using a label that I have drawn. Whenever I turn the image layer into a 3D soda can shape, the label stretches and is in the wrong position (only part of it is on the can), but I see no settings to adjust scaling and position of the image. How can I stop this happening? I am using Photoshop CC.
An image sequence import must start with identically sized files or the import will be based on the first image dimensions.
If your first image is 640X480 and the next image is 800X600 it will be scaled down to 640X480 at import. You also can't mix portrait and landscape images.
You could use software like Graphic Converter to "batch" export your images to the same scale.
Another method would be to use iPhoto (drag your folder of images to a new album). It can make nice slide show movies and it will "center" smaller images and scale others. -
Notes snapping in the wrong position?
I am experiencing an annoying problem in Garage band 11 (6.0.4). I'm writing a music placing notes along the track and using software instruments. The problem is that after a while, the notes start to fall out of place and play on the wrong tempos. every time I try to fix their position, the notes always snap to wrong position again. Does Anyone have the same problem? Is this a bug?

Maos in ios6 is working extramly bad. I do not find streets and it shows the wrong position.
The new Map in IOS 6 is working very bad. It shows the wrong position on an adress and it do not find streets. For exempel Kärleksbacken 3 in Sollentuna Sweden.
Is there an update comming soon?
Maps in IOS 5 Fromm Google worked greate, so tjis is à Step down for Apple.

Safari is slowly getting more buggy. Actions, such as clicking on a field, don't give the expected results. I may have to click on the red exit button 5 times to get it to work. I get unwanted dropdown menus. I have version 5.1.7 on OS 10.6.8. System is 3 years old.

Frozen selections: I'm working from my Intel iMac trying to print (from both Aperture and Photoshop CS5) to my new Epson 4900 printer. When the Print menu comes up, under the "Basic" section of the "Printer Settings" the dropdown menus for both "Page Setup" and "Media Type" won't activate. All other options and selections work fine. Just these 2 are not functioning. What's up with that??
Here we are 15 months later and Microsoft Excel 2013 has the SAME ERROR
If one chooses:
Print Preview
Page Setup
Sheet
Then the print area and print titles (Rows to repeat at top, columns to repeat at top)
are all grayed out and cannot be selected.
If, however, I choose the
page layout bar and click print titles then
everything works fine.

I love FIrefox browser and prefer to use it on all my devices, PC, Smart Tv, Phone, Tablet etc. In recent times Iv'e had problems though, everytime I try to comment on a facebook post with each key stroke the cursor jumps back to the beginning of the text field and by the time I finish typing I look up and find jibberish, yesterday I upgraded this RKM Mk902 Android device that I am typing on now unfortunately using Chrome from Anroid 4.2.2 to android 4.4.2 Kit-Kat and thought I would no longer have that problem but the issue is still there. I also have discovered I'm having similar problems with FireFox on my Cube U39GT tablet. As I spend more time on Facebook than any other website I have to find a solution. I thought it may of been one of the addons that i use causing the problems such as Phony but I still get the issue without the addons and after a clean install. Please help me sort out this problem so I can once more use FireFox on my Android devices.
I found this, it seems that there are a few issues in Android as well with the wrong placement for the cursor when you type: [https://github.com/RobinHerbots/jquery.inputmask/issues/465] but since it is only happening in facebook, this is odd.
What this means is that they are working on fixing specific issues like this and I am not sure when this will be fixed.
Does this happen with both keyboards that are offered in the Android Settings? -
MenuBar (AS2) component without dropdown menus?
I have used the menubar component several times to make
dropdown menus from
the main bar .. but I need to make a menubar on a Flash
header that won't
have any dropdowns .. just the seven links across the bar.
I can't find a way to make this work .. and I can't find any
information on
using the MenuBar component without having dropdowns that are
the links.
Is this even possible?

BTW, I was pretty time-crunched last week or so when I
originally posted this, so I used Flash as a fallback. At least
there I know how to position with pixel-perfect accuracy, and
nothing psychotic happens with the behavior. Well, almost nothing.
Flash will always have its own charming "quirks" and "undocumented
features", but at least I can contend with those, for now...
It's a bummer, too, because I was really excited to get this
project done entirely with CSS. -
Please help- Fireworks CS3 popup menu displaying wrong positions on live page

I am new to Fireworks and my knowledge of html and dreamweaver is pretty basic, So i am learning as I go here. My problem is this: I have created a popup menu for the site http://www.theatricalprojections.com I used Fireworks to edit a .png and position the menus and links that I want. I had everything set up the way I wanted it to look except that when I published the code, the menus are showing up in the wrong postions on the live site, while it works fine when I preview it locally. You'll notice that the menu popping up for the word "consoles" isn't next to the word where it should be.
I exported the png to an htm file. I then copied this code and I had to paste it into a box in the Able Commerce system we have for managing the site. I suspect the fact that I am insterting the code into a box within this software makes things different though I really have no idea.
Please help me!

Jonnythe design will stay, but thank you. When I left work I uploaded the old version that had menus aligned correctly. right now the new one is up and the some of the menus are way of out place I've been trying to fix this and I have no Idea what to do!

Handling 2 DropDown Menus in same class...??

As you can imagine I am new to this....and I'm having trouble creating 2 DropDown Menus in the same class...
The problem is the "public void itemStateChanged(ItemEvent e) "...the compiler doesn't let me have 2 of them...I can understand why since it needs to make the difference between the 2 DropDown Menus...but how do I do it? I've tryed "public void itemStateChanged(ItemEvent f) " but java doesn't like it either...
