WSC 3.2.40.0 Planning Mode

In planning mode is it possible to force the coverage area to be honored. I have several schools that I'm trying to use the Planning Mode with. All I can see is the standard resizable box. It isn't honoring the coverage areas I set up in the Floor Plan editor. Any help would be appreciated.

I contacted metalink on this issue. They indicated that JDK.1.5.0_04 has this bug.
Upgrading to the later versions of JDK1.5.0_04 will fix this problem.

  • It keeps asking if i want to turn on air plane mode after cleaning it...

HELP!!! I cleaned my phone tonight with a damp wash cloth, it 'wasn't' soaking wet either. And i had it cut off too, i just wipped it down , and i believe a little bit of water went into the speakers below or something, now it's asking me if i want to turn on air plane mode and something about this feature doesn't work with iphone, and also to do something with audio interference, and that i will not be able to make or recive calls. But i dont get it, i turned it off, reset the network settings, i can still hear everything very good, text messages and calls go out and recive when i choose not to do air plane mode, i hear every tone thats suppose to work, the only thing is that message keeps popping up every few minutes when its on standby, home screen, and after i cut it back on. I really hope i didnt mess it up because everything works and i just was trying to wip it down a little before i went to bed, i've only had it 3 months and just trying to keep it clean. I just want that message to stop, if i do that air plane mode nothing will come in....i'm scared

Actually it is fully exposed to the air and just about all cell phones use this methood. It pretty much just a sticker and requires a lot more than just "moisture". Most phones open the battery cover and look for the white dot. It turns red if the phone ever got wet (a good drop in a puddle, toilet, pool, etc).
For the iPhone, look down the headjack (best if done with screen on as it lights up some). You will see white dot at bottom. It turns red if phone gets wet.
Just cleaning the phone should never set it off unless cloth was wet enough that droplets of water can fall from cloth and down the headjack.
Though sounds like the OP just messed up the connections on the dock as you are not supposed to get them wet. I would just take it to store (with appointment) and not worry about talking about getting it wet.

Can I use an radar alarm on my iphone 4, without passing by the telephone card, for example in plane mode? This question in order to avoid the roaming when I leave my country for a foreigner one

Hi there Eartley! That sounds like an amazing opportunity for you! I am glad you are going to be able to study in Italy. The iPhone 6 is an excellent phone to travel with and you should have no problems using a local SIM card while you are in Italy. While I have not been to Italy myself and can not make recommendations for service providers out there, our Global Support Team may be able to help out! Here is where you can get in touch with them http://vz.to/1DgQ1IJ . Have a great trip!

  • Use of MRP Planning mode 2 and 3 in MD01,MD02,MD03

    Hi
I am aware of Planning mode 1,2 and 3. . Planning file entry does the job of updating appropriate planning mode like Net change or Net change in horizon, BOM re-explode or reset proposal. But,I want to understand in what circumstances we prefer to go with planning mode 2 or 3 other than 1 in MD01 or MD02 or MD03 as anyway this is covered for all necessary items in planning file entry by system. I am fully aware of the functions of all three planning modes. Just I want to understand the situation in which it will be overwritten by user selecting 2 or 3 in MD01 or MD02 or MD03. Because I have never come across such situation where I deliberately run with planning mode 2 or 3 in MD01 or MD02 or MD03.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Sudhar,
Planning Mode 1 is used when:
    1.Changes in date and quantity
    2.Requirement changes
3.Changes in the lot-sizing procedure or MRP type
Planning Mode 2 is used when:
    1.Changes to the material BOM
2.Changes to the sales order BOM
3.Changes to the phantom assembly BOM
4.Changes to references assigned within BOM
    5.Changes to material classification
Planning Mode 3 is used when:
    1.In-house production time changes
    2.Planned delivery time changes
    3.Scheduling margin key changes
    4.MRP controller changes

  • PR(released) should not be deleted in md51 planning mode 3

    Hi all,
We are facing a problem in MRP run taken through transaction code MD51. This Problem (as explained below) will occur when MRP control parameter for Planning Mode will be set to u20183u2019 (Delete and recreate planning data).
During normal course, if MRP control parameter for Planning mode is set to u20183u2019, system deletes all open PR & Planned orders & creates new PR & new planned orders.
But in our business scenario, where we have release strategy for MRP generated PR, even these released PR get deleted. This results in re-analysis & releasing of MRP generated PR which itself is a tedious & time consuming task.
We are looking for a solution where PR will not get deleted during MRP.
    Thanks
    Sukumar

You may check to your release indicator for in SPRO-Materials ManagementPurchasingPurchase RequisitionRelease ProcedureProcedure with ClassificationSet Up Procedure with Classification> Release indicator for the final release --> Indicator: Fixed for requirements planning (is checked or not, try to check it) and retry the scenario.

    Hi,
The planing time fence is maintained in MRP-1 view of the material in workdays. You can also have this defined in the MRP group. But the value in material master takes precedence over MRP group.
Use - It is a kind of safety fence which is used to protect any automatic changes to take place for firm order proposals during MRP run.
Depends on - Firming indicator needs to be maintained for the MRP type. This can be set in customizing for the MRP Type. This basically specifies how you want to firm the order proposals. Please note there are 5 types of firming
The SAP help for firming type reads as below:
    firming type 0
The system does not firm procurement proposals automatically.
    firming type 1
Procurement proposals that move into the planning time fence are firmed automatically, as soon as their date lies at least one day before the end date of the planning time fence. The date of new procurement proposals that are created in the planning time fence is displaced to the end of the planning time fence. These new procurement proposals are not firmed.
    firming type 2
Procurement proposals that move into the planning time fence are firmed automatically, as soon as their date lies at least one day before the end date of the planning time fence. The system does not create any new procurement proposals within the planning time fence; that means, the system does not balance the shortage situation in the planning time fence.
    firming type 3
Procurement proposals that move into the planning time fence are not firmed automatically by the system. All procurement proposals that are necessary for requirements coverage are displaced to the end of the planning time fence.
    firming type 4
Procurement proposals that move into the planning time fence are not firmed automatically by the system. The system does not create any new procurement proposals within the planning time fence; that means, the system does not balance the shortage situation in the planning time fence.
    If helpful award points

  • MD03 - Planning Mode 3

    Hi experts!
I need to disable Planning Mode option = 3 at my system, because users are not authorized to delete physically.
We have been investigating butwe didnt find any security point to limit this activity.
Do anyone know if there is any way to restrict the use of this option of the parameter at MD03?
    Thank you in advance.
    Best regards,
    cecil

    Hi,
    One suggestion:
For any Organization the MRP Run is very crucial..
Only few people should be authorized to execute the MRP (MD02 & Md03)
Only system administrators can have authorization for MD01.MDBT.
So, remove authorizations for MD02 and MD03 for most of the users except the Department Heads..
Schedule MRP in the background at night..
    Hope this helps..
    Revert for further discussion..
    Regards,
    Siva

  • Planning Mode in MRP

    Hi Gurus,
Can any one throw light on Planning Mode in MRP run?
I basically what to know the difference and impact of this on MRP run?
I have basically done this keeping all other parameters same, but go same reult for planning mode 1, 2, 3.
    a) Scenario 1 - I have changed the MRP controller in material master.
After MRP run with 1, 2 and 3 - Observation is planned order number is changed and it has new MRP controller.
    b) Scenario 2 -I have changed the BOM of header material and added a new child item.
After MRP run with 1, 2 and 3 - Observation is planned order number remains the same and in all 3 cases picks the new BOM.
    What the difference then?
Can anyone if have document made pl share it with me.
    Thanks in advance,
    Srini

    Planning Mode 1
Planning mode 1 is if you have only set the planning file entries (net change planning indicator and net change planning horizon indicator) in the planning file for a material (see Planning Run Type).
In the planning run in planning mode 1 the system reactivates the existing planning data, that is, procurement proposals that are not firmed remain on the database and are only then adapted, if the dates and quantities do not suit the new planning situation. The system only re-explodes the BOM for adjusted procurement proposals. System performance is thus improved.
Example of changes that cause planning mode 1 to be set:
    Changes in date and quantity
    Requirement changes
Changes in the lot-sizing procedure or MRP type
    Planning Mode 2
Planning mode 2 is if a material has planning file entries and the Re-explode BOM indicator is also set in the planning file.
In the planning run in planning mode 2, the system re-explodes the BOMs for all existing procurement proposals that are not firmed and also for those, for which the dates and quantities do not have to be adjusted.
Example of changes that cause planning mode 2 to be set:
    Changes to the material BOM
Changes to the sales order BOM
Changes to the phantom assembly BOM
Changes to references assigned within BOM
    Changes to material classification
Change of production version in material master or planned order
Change or conversion of BOM explosion number
    Planning Mode 3
Planning mode 3 is if a material has planning file entries and the Reset order proposals indicator is also set in the planning file.
In planning mode 3 existing procurement proposals that are not firmed are completely deleted from the database and recreated. The system then re-explodes the BOMs.
Example of changes that cause planning mode 3 to be set:
    In-house production time
    Planned delivery time
    Scheduling margin key
    MRP controller

  • Read Only/ Plan Mode Changes for a layout with two different queries

    Hi,
I have a situvation where a layout opens in a read only mode and when
the users click on button plan, it changes to plan mode. The catch here however is the queries
for read mode and plan mode are slightly different, in the read only mode the query has subtotals
and other calculations that are not a part of the plan mode ( where they input forecasts).
I know if the read and plan query are the same, we can achieve this through the command
SET_DATA_ENTRY_MODE. In case they are different, as above, how can i achieve this.
    Thanks
    Rashmi.

Say you are using two different queries as DP1 & DP2 for Display and Plan mode respectively. You also have one Analysis grid item in Web template which initially points to DP1.
On PLAN button call command SET_ITEM_PARAMETER to set the data provider of analysis item to DP2.
    OR
You have only one dataprovider in your web template as DP1 initially pointing to Query 1 which you want to show in Display mode. Then on PLAN button call a command SET_DATA_PROVIDER_PARAMETERS to point the DP1 to 2nd query instead of 1st query.  You can find this command under Commands for data Provider --> Basic data provider commands.

  • Prime Infrastructure 2.0 does not show Planning Mode

    Hi,
I´d like to know if evaluation version of Cisco Prime Infrastructure 2.0 (PRIME-NCS-VAPL) does not provide the feature "Planning Mode" to conduct a Predictive Site Survey.
    Monitor>Site Maps>Select an Site>
At the drop down list (select a command), I can´t see planning mode. The options are: New Building, New Outdoor Area, Edit Campus/Site, Delete Campus/Site, Configure Interferer Notifications.
I also notice that "Add Access Points" does not appear.
    see the att image.
    Tks.

    Hi ,
    1. Monitor > Site Maps
    2. Select the appropriate location link from the list that appears.
A color-coded map appears showing placement of all  installed elements (access points, clients, tags) and their relative  signal strength.
    CLICK on the  " color-coded map "
Now on the right hand side Drop Down Menu , you should be able to see the "Planning Mode"
    Thanks-

  • How delete a planning request?Target set to Planning Mode cannot be deleted

    Hello everybody,
Could someone tell me how I can delete a request in a planning cube ...
I tried to switch the status green to red and then click on the trash button after selecting it but I got allways a message:
Target ZCOPATRLC set to 'Planning Mode'- requests cannot be deleted
    Message no. RSM069
We've just upgraded to BI 7.0.
    Many Thanks
    Dominique

    Hi
Before you convert the request to green....you need to change the planning cube status to load mode and then convert the request into green/red. Then you can easily delete the same.

    WCS Map planning mode issue:
    Hi ,
we try to set AP planing mode in WCS with actual obastacle rail other editing featue in planing mode but when we genarate planning we can't get edit map .
how can we solve this issue .

What browser are you using?  There are some compatibilty issues with some browsers like google chrome. I use chrome to view WCS, but firefox to manage/plan mapping.

  • WCS Planning Mode

    HI
We've been using Ekahau Site Survey to plan and extend our wifi infrastructure.
Comparing WCS and Ekahua on some installs, WCS seems to want probably couple more APs.
    My question is,
When using WCS to plan the installation / extend existing network does it take in to account the other APs on the same heat map/ building plan?
    Cheers
    Craig

    Thanks for your reply,
Just to clarify as the reply seems to contradicts it self, it does take in to account the APs but not on the same floor plan.
So for example a building with 3 levels, if there is existing total wireless coverage on level 2, but only 1 ap on level 3.
Performing a planning mode for level 1 doesn't take in to account level 2 above.?
Also level 3 want to add more, doesn't take in to account level 2 and the 1 on level 3?
    cheers

  • NCS Planning Mode

I have a question about Cisco Prime NCS Planning Mode.  When I plan for 802.11an and 802.11bgn, for example, there is a floor that will require 6 access points.  If I uncheck 802.11bgn, and leave 802.11an, then it only requires 4 access points.  Not sure why that is.  I have an idea, but would like someone to explain it to me.  Also, If I check "voice" and no data, it only requires 4 access points too.  I would think that voice would require more access points, not less.  Can someone explain that too?  Thanks.

Please go through the below link. HTH
