WWI server problem with report shipping order

Hi everybody,
we have a problem with the WWI server and report shipping orders for Inbound documents (PDF):
after we created an entry in CVD1 and using buttons "Accept" and "Ship immediately" we run the report RCVDEVEN. First time we did it the WWI server started working and ended with error but assigned the correct PDF. After that, the WWI server didt start anyway.
First error message:
The description for Event ID ( 91 ) in Source ( PRD ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: PRD.
Second error message after second attempt:

OSS note 1058521 has already been found - but nothing described here is relevant for us: the RFC connection is working, the WWI monitor shows the server up and running.
Any ideas?

fixed the problem myself. There have been some documents with error in the printer queue of the WWI server.

Problem with scheduling planned orders in MRP

There is a problem with scheduling planned orders in MRP. SFG is assigned to the BOM of FG. No inhouse production time maintained in the material master of SFG & FG. routing maintained for both . In OPU5 scheduling & capacity reuiremnts tickmarked for detailed scheduling. Scheduling level - via detaied scheduling. Scheduling type - backward. Adjust basic dates , adjust dep. req. to order start set. In MD02 , scheduling is via ' lead time scheduling'.
My problem is the start date & time & finish date & time is same for planned orders of FG & SFG in the detailed scheduling tab of the planned orders. (Duration is same because of same capacity requirements on the same work centre. But how is the finish date same for both SFG & FG?)
(Capacity requirements are being generated.)
What could be the problem ?

By scheduling the routing and maintain lot size dependent time in material is best practice and result of scheduling will be consistent.
If you want SFG before FG you need to define lead time offset in BOM or need to maintain the floats before production.

Problems With Reports server in Oracle 10g IAS

I am having problems with the reports server. It keeps on giving me the error below
REP-51002: Bind to Reports Server <myreportservername> failed
I am able to correct it by restarting my server while my backup server is off the network and playing around with my server configurations. It works for a while 2 weeks to a month then I start getting the same error again.
Could someone please point out to me where I could be going wrong?
Is there any known problems when 2 IAS are on the same network. I am on Windows 2000 Server.

Problems with report builder 3.0 in SCCM 2012 R2 CU2

I have problems with editing (Using Report builder) existing reports or creating new ones in SCCM 2012 R2 CU2
We version of SQL we use is SQL 2008 R2 SP2
I already asked this question in the SCCM 2012 forum but the problem is not related to SCCM but has something to do with application report builder
I changed the registry key and edited the Microsoft.ConfigurationManagement.exe.config.xml as described in the following link

Afterwards I try to edit an report I see report builder is being downloaded and after it generates the following error “Application did not succeed. Unable to continue”

Hi Miss Katherine,
1. I went through the SQL steps in the link you posted
2. I updated the Reg Key and Microsoft.ConfigurationManagement.exe.config file with 3.0 on both the
server and the console machine.
3. I copied the .DLL file from your OneDrive and replaced the existing one on the server.
4. I uninstalled and re-installed the reporting role on the server and received the 1015 in the log.
5. I restarted the server and the client machine
I do get a slightly different error now after using the new DLL

PROBLEM WITH THE PHONE ORDERS

Is there a problem with the orders which are done with an international credit card? I am asking this because my brother and I have been trying to place an order to buy Macbook Pro with Retina Display for 2 days.
We placed 2 online orders with my international credit card. In each order I inputted the international address provided by the Bestbuy web site(10780 Kempwood Dr. - Houston, TX 77043) to the billing address. And I inputted my brother's address in the US to the shipping address. Each time, at first,orders were accepted but after 1 minute we received an email that indicated orders were cancelled. Customer service told me that the shipping address and billing address on my order are same and there might be an issue on the system that causes this problem and suggested me to place the order over the phone. I replaced the order over the PHONE(WITH SALES DEPARTMENT) but again I received two emails, one of them is "We received your email" and the other one is "Your order has been cancelled".You can find the reason of the cancellation in the email below;
We're sorry, but an item on your order placed on June 12, 2014 has been canceled because we were unable to verify your information.
I am really tired of that,it is like a joke.
An authorized person should answer this; does BestBuy accept international credit cards or not?

Combination Report:Shipping Order/BarCode Labels

Help!I am trying to re-create a report from a mainframe that is printed on special size document that contains Shipping Order information as well as bar code labels. The problem as I see it is being able to print the barcodes (which contain individual items) in an area that is usually designated for Header information. It is almost like taking two different reports (a shipping order and barcode label report) and 'glueing' them together.
Header:ShipTo, Shipto Address, ShipTo City, State etc. Body: Item #, Item Description, Quantity, Price Footer: TotalsThe right side of this report (document) should contain the bar code labels. Any Suggestions????

Problem with USPS shipping integration

At this time the USPS shipping calculation in catalyst only takes weight into consideration, not the size of the box. Which is a huge problem for us, as we typically ship boxes that are over 12". Does anyone know of a way to get an accurate quote from USPS? UPS works fine... it just seems wrong to only offer one shipping service for packages that are over 12", our customers should be able to have a wider range of choices.

BC can't and wont fix this (asked and answered). The issues is that this is a NP-Hard problem (google it), to calculate the size of a box based on several different products is easy for humans but very hard for computers (to do well). With that said I spent the better part of 6 months developing a solution to this. I can calculate the size of a box (any size) based on the products ordered in the most optimized fashion and then query shipping company API to get a price and present that to the customer in realtime.
The solution can;
- Calculate a dynamic box sizes based on a maximum box size of multiple products, with a ship alone feature should the product be bigger than the maximum box size.
- Calculate optimal box packing for multiple products based on multiple fixed box sizes.
- Give different shipping options and prices (overnight, ground etc).
- Inject all this information including a dynamic shipping price into the order before final payment.
- Inject tracking number into order itself.
- Print button on order page to print shipping label.
- Offer percentage discounts for shipping rates for orders lower than X amount.
- Many more things
This is a solution I sell as a package. It depends on what your requirements, we are making sales material at the moment, but it's working in the real world and saving my client thousands of dollars a month.

A month ago I have a problem with my pdf output because of TURKISH Characters. I applied this method as you can see below for solve this problem...
1. Go under the following path: $COMMON_TOP/util/java/1.4/j2sdk1.4.2_04/jre/lib/fonts
2. Copy all the ttf font files under <FND_TOP>/<APPLRSC>/ to that path
3. Bouns the Concurrent Manager and the Apache Server
4. Retest the issue.
5. Migrate the solution as appropriate to other environments.

DNS Server problem with AX

my network only consists of the AX, my macbook, and my PC (which is rarely used anymore). At least once a week, sometimes more often, my AX reports a DNS server problem. I've plugged it in to the ethernet and the settings are they same and there is no other router involved. The AX is connected directly from the cable modem. I confirmed with my ISP that the DNS server numbers are correct and they show up in the proper fields as well. What may cause this and how can I fix it?

Since the Express can only use the information that it receives from the ISP,
you might want to try the Open DNS settings to see if that will help. Just be sure to make note of your current settings in case you need to revert to them.

Problems with Reports web in 9ias

Hi everybody there,
Im having troubles with my reports web in 9ias after the migration of our applications to a new server but with the same OS and same version of DB and Application server.
Every time that we try to execute a report web from aour new server it charges on the browser with values of width and height too bigs (height=2699,width=8807).
This problem doesn´t happen on the original server. Can anybody help me to find the solution pls?

DNS Server problems with ASA 5505

Hi guys,
we setup a new ASA 5505 which is mainly used as our VPN gateway. The ASA is configured and controlled by our ISP (and this is where the problem starts )) and they somehow cannot manage to get the VPN settings really working.
So, here is our problem.
our machines(Windows 7) are configured to get the network settings through DHCP (Windows 2012 Server).
Before I connect with AnyConnect to our VPN gateway, the DNS Server setting in the network settings for the adapters(IPv4) are set to 'dynamic'
When I now connect, this setting is changes to a statc entry (which is our DNS server).
When disconnecting, it is not reverted back, which means I have to do this always manually.
What I do not understand is the fact, that the DNS server is set for all the adapters, shouldtn't it be only set to the anyconnect adapter?.
The interesting thing is, that when I connect to a different ASA, this does not happen. The ISP is now saying, that the machines are configured exactly the same and that they cannot reproduce, but I can't believe this.
This issue shows up at every machine which connects to our vpn, so it is not only a single machine which might be misconfigured.
Do you have any idea what might cause this issue?
btw, the second ASA (which works) is from our partner company, so we cannot simply copy the config

I have this exact same problem, seems completely bizarre, I'm pretty sure I had the same problem with the original home hub (i have the latest one now). Can you confirm whether the problem does affect anyone with a bt home hub and not just the one that the dyndns is pointing at? I'll try and confirm by hitting your domain from my home connection.

Problems with reports and XML-publisher - No XML

I'm having a problem with Apps and XML-publisher. I made a report file, which queries some views. When executing in reports, I get all the data I expect.
Now, when I upload the reportfile to Apps and let it generate XML, my xml-file is empty (well, almost empty)

OK, finally solved the problem... A good night's sleep always helps ;).
After just trying each queried table one after an other, I found the problem:
The difference between Oracle Apps (Dutch locale) and the reports builder (English) is the language... And our functional people have changed some names, but the Dutch ones, leaving the english names in place and one of the tables I query has language specific data, which is also appears in a where clause.

VAT declaration in XML - Problem with report RFASLDPC

I have a problem with the report RFASLDPC. We use it to download an XML file that we generated which contains the VAT declaration.
In the report RFASDLPC, there is a FORM named QUELLFILE_PRUEFEN which stop the report and display a message : "Data file FILE_NAME is not correct".
The reason is that QUELLFILE_PRUEFEN checks (for Belgium) that the beginning of my document starts with '000000' (six times zero). But this is impossible for an XML file to begin with '000000'. An XML file must begin with "<?xml version="1.0" ?>" or a least "<".

Problem with song tracks order

I seem to have this problem with only one album. Even though each song in the album has been correctly identified by its track number it still shows up in iTunes in the wrong order. This is especially annoying because the album has gapless playback and since all the tracks are in the wrong order I can't listen to it as I normally would.

Yeah... same thing happened when I downloaded Season 2 of HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER. They all transfered over fine, but in complete wrong order. *****, because the show follows a serial time-line and now it's all messed up.
Anyone help?

PFD-MAIL Problem with REPORTS 3.0.5

Still have a problem with creating a PDF file as mail attachement.
I installed the latest patch 11 (3.0.5.19) of the oracle runtime and i compiled
the report with the patch.
What happend: Still go the error message if i open the pdf in the mail: "operant xc missing ..."
BUT !! if I create the pdf with the option "FILE" instead of "MAIL" at e.g. c:\test.pdf - its
without any error!
So the question is what is the difference beetween the two ways?????
