XML-OPP issue with report

We have following issue while running/generating XML report.
"The output post-processor will be made to post-process this request.
No further attempts will be made to post-process this request, and the request will me marked with warning status.
Setting the profile option concurrent: OPP Response Timeout to a higher value may be necessary. "
We are also getting following errors as well.
"XML File does not appear have any style information associated with it."
We have increased OPP: Response time and bounced, but still same issue. Could someone please help?

Issue with report RBDMIDOC

Hi Gurus,
I have an issue with the report RBDMIDOC. When I run it to the message type MATMAS, it takes 8 or 9 seconds to send the IDoc. With the message type CLFMAS takes 3 seconds.
The duration of the execution of this report depends only of the access to the BDCP and BDCPS tables or is there any other factor that has influence on this time?
The BDCPS table has 300000 entries, and is well indexed.
What could I do to reduce this time?

It seems we are having an issue with report Y_DEV_82000038. When we are executing this report then in the output for one line item it is showing one value and when we drill down it it is shoiwng double value of what it is showing in the initial screen of output.

The reports with 'Y' or 'Z' are not standard ones. You have to check with the person who developed this report. Ask to your ABAP team to help you.

This is an known issue in SSRS 2008 R2 SP3. For this issue, Microsoft has published an article addressing this issue. It is not planning to release a fix for this defect. But there's workarounds for this issue. Please refer to the link below:

Issue with Report Links in OBIEE

I'm facing a issue with report links(modify,printer friendly,refresh etc) in obiee
The reports which are set as "Display Results-->Embedded in Section" for those reports if I put report links(modify,printer friendly,refresh etc),the links do not show up.In the palce of link I can see "-"(minus sign) appearing.
If I change the report to "Display Results--->Show as link in seperate window" the lniks show up fine.
Any idea why this is happening?

Issue with Report Layout

Hi All,
I am working on a report which display employee present or absent in the month. I have to display dynamic column as days varies as per month .
I am done with the report design/query part, using matrix report layout. Report executes and produce expected output too.
Problem:
As this report consists maximum 33 columns (1 = employ name + 31=days in the month + 1=Total days present) I change Page Layout to Landscape.
When I select report output as "pdf" it generates report in Portrait Layout.
Could you please tell me how to fix this issue?

Issue with reporting and additional question

Hello,
1st Question:
I have ran into an issue with the interal server reporting.
If the file is published as an html file, then the reporting works as intended
(Able to see with Quiz Analyzer due to it creating an xml file in the appropriate folder)
However, if I publish the file as a swf file, the reporting does not seem to be working at all.
Does this mean that swf reporting is not supported with the internal server? or?
2nd Question
When reporting likert, as expected the quiz analyzer makes it so that we have go into each individual person to see their inputs.
With that I am able to export it as an excel file for each individual person.
However, is there a way to mass export all the individual responses as 1 excel file with the quiz analyzer?
(Would it be better using Adobe Connect for reporting, or other lms systems?)

Quick thigh when you get an error stating "unknown error" means something wrong with your server internal post result php or some cross domain issue. It will be great if you can send us the project for analysis. Please send your project on [email protected]
Will analyze your issue and will get back to you, also I insist if you can provide few steps you opted while setting internal server reporting and the internal server on some machine. This will be very helpful to trace the issue.

Font Issue with Report Generation Toolkit for Microsoft Office

I have been using this toolkit for only a few days now, but I just have to get this issue off my back. When developing a toolkit it would be a good idea to use the same cluster to represent fonts in ALL places. If you look at "Excel Set Graph Font" vs. "Excel Easy Table" they take two completely different clusters. Why? I don't know, but it is *very* annoying.
How could something like this slip through the cracks? Is there some reason why there is this discrepancy? From my perspective as a software engineer I see no excuse, but maybe someone else can justify this oversight for me. I just hope that I don't find any more issues with the toolkit...

what you said is true when dealing with same kind of objects, but in this circumstance, different cluster defines the font of a differnt object. For example, you may not want the user have as many options with defining the font for the X Y axis title as that for defining the text in the table. This is ture when you want your generated report to have similiar styles.
But this is certainly something we will think about, thanks for your constructive suggestion,

Issue with report (S_ALR_87013611) that is actual/plan line items for Cost

Hi Gurus,
I am having issue with the report (S_ALR_87013611) that is actual/plan line items for Cost Center.
When i execute the report for a cost element 510200 the amount is 23,380.13, but when i drill down on it by double click on that amount the value in obj curr is 15468.91. Hence there is the differnce. When i futher drill down by double click on the amont of 15468.91 and i go to display group currency and take the total it is 23380.13 and display in local / doc currency the amount is 15468.91. I guess due to this there is difference. The cost center & the cost elements are the same i have checket it.
My concerns is that the group curr is USD and obj curr / local curr is USD. So is group curr and doc curr is USD then when i click on dislay curr and select group curr why the amounts are changing.

Try to look if there is any filtering criteria applied in the report to which you drill-down.
The difference can be also caused by the "value type" - some reports show actual and statistical costs together in one column while the others strictly show (are defined to show) only e.g. actual costs (type 04) and not the statistical costs (type 11)

There is a issue with the customer report, When i look at the contracts on R3 - transaction code ME3M - material 34007071 , contract 46.38450 advises contract quantity of 250,759. when i run a BW report it advises contract 46.38450 as 759. Diff = 250,000.
Can any one please advice on this ?

First check in RSA3 whether the data source is bringing correct value or not.
If in RSA3 value is correct then you need to check your transformation.

Issue with report FAGLL03

I have an issue with the SAP report FAGLL03. There is a document posted in the system with the posting date in previous year but document date in the current year. I can see this document in the document display and BSEG but when I go to FAGLL03, I cannot find this document. Can someone please help me in figuring out where the problem is?

Thanks for helping me to analyze and resolve this issue. I appreciate all the timely help provided by you all. We already had line item display activated in the GL account but in the table SKB1, there was a slash next to the field Clearing specific to GL group and we had to remove that selection programatically. Once we did that, we were able to see the postings corresponding to this accout though no historical data was displayed. We do have this setting for many other accounts. I am not sure why this setting was made in the first place and what would be the impact of removing it.
Any ideas would be helpful.

Having issues with report server in OEM

I'm having some issues with viewing the UNIX metrics for our reports server in OEM. The metrics are coming up as 0, no error messages. The cpu/memory metrics come up for the HTTP server, and on the instance page.
I'm also not able to stop/start the reports server via OEM. It's greyed out on the oem instance page.
This is occurring only on one machine...I have another midtier box and have no issues viewing metrics/start/stopping report server.
Anyone have any ideas?

I 'd like to suggest you can try to sing out and re-sign in the Azure server explore.
1.right click the Azure node on server explore.
2.Select "Connect to with Microsoft Azure " and then login using your account.
3.Make sure your select the right subscription.
4.If storage list didn't include your account, you could right-click the storage node, and select Attach External Storage.
Another approach is that you can re-install the
Azure tool.

Issue with Reports using costume measures - BPC 10.0 NW

Hello BPC Colleagues,
I’m having a problem with some BPC reports using costume measures and I would like to have your inputs about this issue.
When all the reports are executed using a costume measures the report execution fails after a long time of execution (7min). The report has 1200 accounts and 57 company codes.
In order to create trial balance we create these costume measure. Basically the measures are standars (with a few changes) and it works for limited reports (few account and companies) but we I try to executed for several accounts and companies I have the following error:
“The execution of report Default Report failed. Please contact your administrator.”
Error while communicating with the server
Framework message:
The underlying connection was close: An unexpected error occurred on a receive.
Summary of the BPC LOG:
|An error occurred while receiving the HTTP response to https://BPCENV.APPSET.MODEL. This could be due to the service endpoint binding not using the HTTP protocol. This could also be due to an HTTP request context being aborted by the server (possibly due to the service shutting down). See server logs for more details.#
We already increased the PSAPTEMP table and this didn’t fix the issue. At the beginning we were sure that this was an issue with table space but the error persist.
I don’t think (maybe I’m wrong) that this is not an issue related to the costume measure or to authorizations since I can retrieve data if I reduce the request to less accounts an company, so in my point of view this looks like a performance issue.

Issue with Report painter report

Hi Gurus
I need your help with an issue with one of our report painter reports. I have created a new report with Fiscal Year, Ledger, Company code, and Account number range in General data selection. The report row has field Segment and each period corresponds to one period of the fscal year. In here, I have selected Period and Record type 0 as characteristics. The basic key figure is KSL for second currency.
I am able to save the report but when I execute it, I get the error that
*Characteristic GJAHR cannot be combined with key figures*
Can someone please help me as why I am getting this error?

Issue with Report Template in EHS

Hi Gurus
I have an issue wiht report template in EHS. When i go to CG42 i tried to search for a report template no entries found. But if you F4 in template field there are templates getting displayed. If i select template and enter again, it says no object available. Looks like weird. Template is very well available in system. If you have this issue please guide me to correct the situation. Also can you please let us know what is the table to check report templates.

with TC code - CG34, u may further try the following path -
File with path - Character standard
<path on application server>:\BP_PH_EHS_MSDS.DAT MS-NT
<path on application server>:\BP_PH_EHS_COVERL.DAT MS-NT
Choose Check File (F5). The transfer file area is filled with data.
Choose Start/Transfer time (F6). The symbol match up is displayed.
On the Import Report Template: Symbol Matchup screen choose again Start/Transfer time. MS Word for Windows is started with the template.
Choose Check Template. upcoming warning messages may be Ignored.
