Xml payload related problem

Hi ALL
Currently I am doing a scenario in which i m encrypting the incoming xml payload(field by field) in java mapping and then decrypting it with in the adapter module.Now problem that i m facing is that after encryption if i get some special characters, the resulting xml payload becomes invalid and will not be parsed.

hi,
Try to put it into CDATA.

  • AIA 11gR1 Mail Message with an XML payload

    Hi,
    I'm currently facing an issue related to message payload which is itself a XML fragment.
    Use case: The business requires some error out record to notify to the Business users as an XML payload in the mail message body whichis generated in the process flow.
    Reported Issue: The default MIME TYPE with text/html is unable to send the XML payload in body part. I get a blank message body in the mail.
    Any useful thoughts is welcome.
    Regards
    Soumya

    Which version are you using? I also had problems with XML as the payload with 9i Rel. 1. I upgraded to Rel. 2 and it works o.k.

  • SSL/TLS security certificate data match with XML Payload in SAP PI

    Hi,
    We are working on a solution where we would want to use SSL/TLS or WS Security with client server mutual authentication using client server certificates.
    But, once the sender is authenticated using the certificates, can the XML payload be matched for the correctness with the certificate information? Is this available to PI integration engine at any time? Like Sender A autheticated as A using certificates, must be stopped if his XML payload is saying that he is sender B (which is most unlikely if we trust the senders but did not want to leave a loophole).
    Any ideas here?
    Thanks and Regards,
    Vijay

    Hi Wolfgang,
    Cross-posting is discouraged and against the forum rules, because it is misused and makes a mess of the search due to distributed discussions and answers.
    I will move it to the PI forum and add a watch on it as it is security forum related.
    Unfortunately, the forum software does not have the option to "mirror" threads.
    Cheers,
    Julius

  • Encrypt-decrypt xml payload (PI 7.0 vs 7.1)

    Hi Experts.
    I'm working in a web service that receive an encrypted xml payload via SOAP. The problem is that the xml that I'm receiving is partially encryptad.
    I'm using a PI 7.0 communication channel type SOAP to decrypt the info, but it isn't supported because PI 7.0 SOAP Comm Channel only can decrypt the hole message, not only a part of that!!!!!!
    My question is if PI 7.1 SOAP Comm Chanel can decrypt only a part of xml messages instead of a hole message like PI 7.0 is doing??
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi again.
    Thanks a lot Baskar for your answer but I thinks that the envelope isn't my problem.
    I'm receiving a payload that has only one encrypted node. One example could be:

    So, the xml only has one encrypted node:  CIPHER VALUE.
    In PI 7.0 the SOAP comm channel cannot decypher that kind of payload because that only has a part of payload encrypted instead of a whole encrypted payload.
    My question is if using PI 7.1 this problems will be solved in SOAP comm channel. Or I need to upgrade to PI 7.3??
    thanks a lot

  • Malformed XML payload on RFC sender scenario

    Hi all,
    I'm trying to send data from RFC to XI but I got follow error in SXMB_MONI:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes" ?>
    <!--  Request Message Mapping  -->
    <SAP:Error xmlns:SAP="http://sap.com/xi/XI/Message/30"
    xmlns:SOAP="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" SOAP:mustUnderstand="">
      <SAP:Category>Application</SAP:Category>
      <SAP:Code area="MAPPING">EXCEPTION_DURING_EXECUTE</SAP:Code>
      <SAP:P1>com/sap/xi/tf/_mm_ZFI_RFC_CADASTRO_FORNECEDOR_To_~</SAP:P1>
      <SAP:P2>com.sap.aii.utilxi.misc.api.BaseRuntimeException</SAP:P2>
      <SAP:P3>Fatal Error: com.sap.engine.lib.xml.parser.Parser~</SAP:P3>
      <SAP:P4 />
      <SAP:AdditionalText />
      <SAP:ApplicationFaultMessage namespace="" />
      <SAP:Stack>com.sap.aii.utilxi.misc.api.BaseRuntimeException thrown during application mapping
    com/sap/xi/tf/_mm_ZFI_RFC_CADASTRO_FORNECEDOR_To_~: Fatal Error: com.sap.engine.lib.xml.parser.Parser~</SAP:Stack>
      <SAP:Retry>M</SAP:Retry>
      </SAP:Error>
    When open XML payload the structure and fields are ok but data on these fields is not, some data from one field is concatenate on another field and other case data is in different field. For example on field KUNNR, data sent by RFC on R/3 is '1000000386' But on PI the XML looks like that:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
    <rfc:ZFI_RFC_CADASTRO_FORNECEDOR xmlns:rfc="urn:sap-com:document:sap:rfc:functions">
    <T_LFA1>
      <item>
        <LIFNR>0000386</LIFNR>
    And in some fields that expect telephone number, on XML is like that:
    <TELFX>        & #00;& #00;& #00;& #00;& #00;& #00;& #00;& #12;</TELFX>
    (I HAVE TO INSERT SPACE BETWEEN  & and #00; )
    These codes generate the error com.sap.engine.lib.xml.parser.Parser~ on mapping program.
    I've tried to re-import RFC and full cache refresh but I think that error is on JCO on java stack when converting RFC call to XML. I've looked for some RFC Adapter and JCO configuration on Visual Administrator but everything looks ok.
    My system is:
    SAP PI 7.0 SP13
    SAP ECC 6.0
    Any idea how to solve this issue?
    Thanks!

    Hi,
    As you can see mapping is because of Mapping , Exception During Execute come because of mapping error. So if you doing some graphical mapping there as you said you are concatenating some values passed from SAP R/3 in mapping , check it. Rather you can also check your mapping is right ot wrong using Test tab in mapping editor. also you can use Interface mapping for testing your whole scenario, i will prefer Interface Mapping thing to test my scenario as it will tell you if your requeswt mapping is correct or response message is correct.
    Lets check there and you will see exact problem of mapping.

  • OSB: Retrieve non XML Payload from a service that returns status code 500

    Hello,
    I'm using OSB 11g.
    I have a Business Service that invokes a REST based service (AnyXML). The service I'm calling may return a 500 status code and some JSON-encoded information in the response body containing the remote service error information.
    From a Proxy Service, I invoke the Biz Service using a standard Service Call Out. The Call Out works fine if the service doesn't return any error (status code 200).
    The problem starts when the service returns a 500 status error: it seems that there is no way to to get hold of the error information (string) that are in the response body. The $fault variable contains some info, but not the actual payload.
    I have also tried to "resume" the flow (using a resume action) but no luck.
    Is there a way to retrieve a NON-XML payload of a service even if the service returns a 500 status code?
    Thanks
    Luciano

    Hi,
    I have same problem, any idea?
    I created several Proxy Services between SOA (BPEL) and JDE. Proxy Service works correct, but if interface response has an error (fault) from JDE side, we get high level error message from OSB and we lost error information from endpoints. I want to get following error information from response body, which containing the remote service error information.
    e.g. <SOAP-ENV:Fault>:
    <SOAP-ENV:Body>
    <SOAP-ENV:Fault>
    <faultcode>SOAP-ENV:Client</faultcode>
    <faultstring>[ISS.0088.9134] Exception occurred while processing the body of the message</faultstring>
    <faultactor>http://HOST/soap/default</faultactor>
    <detail xmlns:webM="http://www.webMethods.com/2001/10/soap/encoding">
    <webM:exception> </webM:exception>
    </detail>
    </SOAP-ENV:Fault>
    </SOAP-ENV:Body>
    </SOAP-ENV:Envelope>
    Until now, I solved errorhandling for Proxy Service with single route node, but if I use Proxy Service for “Failover” and OSB connect to Endpoint 2, BPEL-instances with "fault" state get OSB error message and WSG-Response will be lost from $body of messages.--> error-propagation to client is NOT OK.

  • Httpservice POST headers/XML payload formation

    I am trying to use the Quickbase API (see reference below) with a POST.  I am having trouble forming it; specifically, I am clueless as to how to format the header (headers="").  I think the XML Payload is correct, but who knows.  Thanks for your help!
    Quickbase API reference:
    Example XML Request
    POST /db/6c5xatxy HTTP/1.0
    Content-Type: application/xml
    Content-Length: 88
    QUICKBASE-ACTION: API_GetRecordInfo
    <qdbapi>
    <rid>4</rid>
    <ticket>1_6c6482m9_j36_c7mdvh9cmmtn9c8qtr5qchvw33v</ticket>
    </qdbapi>
    My code:
    <fx:Declarations>
      <s:HTTPService id="serviceQBPost" method="POST"
                     url="https://www.quickbase.com/db/beu45unrw"
                 headers="Content-Type: application/xml Content-Length: 88 QUICKBASE-ACTION: API_GetRecordInfo"
             result="serviceQBPost_resultHandler(event)"
             fault="serviceQBPost_faultHandler(event)">
                     <s:request xmlns="">
               <qdbapi>
                 <rid>4</rid>
                         <ticket>1_6c6482m9_j36_c7mdvh9cmmtn9c8qtr5qchvw33v</ticket>
               </qdbapi>
             </s:request>
      </s:HTTPService>
    </fx:Declarations>

    Well, I solved my performance problem by using XMLSocket,
    instead of HTTPService - a shame, since HTTPService is more
    appropriate.
    Question: how do I determine whether Adobe knows about this
    issue, and whether they care?

  • In PI how do I convert the XML payload (input) to a text file and send out

    I am extracting data from SAP and sending thru XI / PI to a file (non-sap system).
    On the receiving end, I need the file to be a text file, with one row for each "FTZ_Row concatenated_data" tag in the input.  It needs to be just a plain text file with no XML tags.
    Currently the file gets one record which matches exactly to the XML payload below.
    I want it to create a file that looks like this :
               CONCATENATED DATA 1
               CONCATENATED DATA 2
                012345678912345678MAKTX-TEST LB 123123123123 01/02/2009 Z001WCHA9876543210.12
    here is the payload going thru XI
      <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>
    - <n0:FTZ_Concatenated_Row xmlns:n0="http://intel.com/xi/INTEL_PROCUREMENT/ForeignTradeZone" xmlns:prx="urn:sap.com:proxy:FI0:/1SAI/TAS0C0412CDBC3E782D0219:700:2008/06/25">
      <FTZ_Row concatenated_data="CONCATENATED DATA 1" />
      <FTZ_Row concatenated_data="CONCATENATED DATA 2" />
      <FTZ_Row concatenated_data="012345678912345678MAKTX-TEST LB 123123123123 01/02/2009 Z001WCHA9876543210.12" />
      </n0:FTZ_Concatenated_Row>
    thanks
    jay

    thanks for the input but I am still having issues - I get an empty file when I use the content conversion option.
    My payload coming into XI is :
            <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>
    - <n0:FTZ_Concatenated_Row xmlns:n0="http://intel.com/xi/INTEL_PROCUREMENT/ForeignTradeZone" xmlns:prx="urn:sap.com:proxy:FI0:/1SAI/TAS0C0412CDBC3E782D0219:700:2008/06/25">
    <FTZ_Row concatenated_data="CONCATENATED DATA 1" />
    <FTZ_Row concatenated_data="CONCATENATED DATA 2" />
    <FTZ_Row concatenated_data="012345678912345678MAKTX-TEST LB 123123123123 01/02/2009 Z001WCHA9876543210.12" />
    </n0:FTZ_Concatenated_Row>
    Here is the layout of my data type - I am using the same for input & output
    <xsd:schema xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns="http://intel.com/xi/INTEL_PROCUREMENT/ForeignTradeZone" targetNamespace="http://intel.com/xi/INTEL_PROCUREMENT/ForeignTradeZone">
       <xsd:complexType name="FTZ_Concatenated_Row">
          <xsd:sequence>
             <xsd:element name="FTZ_Row" maxOccurs="unbounded">
                <xsd:complexType>
                   <xsd:attribute name="concatenated_data" type="xsd:string" />
                </xsd:complexType>
             </xsd:element>
          </xsd:sequence>
       </xsd:complexType>
    </xsd:schema>
    I mapped these items :  FTZ_Concatenated_Row & FTZ_Row & concatenated_data
    I set up my content convesion with :
      recordset structure   FTZ_Row
    FTZ_Row.fieldSeparator     #
    FTZ_Row.endSeparator     'nl'
    I am not sure why the following row looks like this ??
        <FTZ_Row concatenated_data="CONCATENATED DATA 1" />
    I thought FTZ_Row would be one tag and "concatenated_data" would be another one.
    any help would be appreciated.
    I have read many entries/blogs/etc in SDN but and tried many different setups, but nothing is working.
    thanks

    That certainly looks like a low memory issue, 2 GB ram is barely enough to run Mac OS X versions from Lion through Yosemite.  The high number of Page Outs and killed processes show very high memory pressure.
    Try adding memory, but be sure it is high quality, Mac certified memory such as that from OWC, http://www.macsales.com or Crucial, http://www.crucial.com

  • "Error while parsing SOAP XML payload: no element found" received when invoking Web Service

    Running PB 12.1 Build 7000.  Using Easysoap.  Error ""Error while parsing SOAP XML payload: no element found" received when invoking Web Service".  This error does not appear to be coming from the application code.  Noticed that there were some erroneous characters showing up within the header portion of the XML ("&Quot;").  Not sure where these are coming from.  When I do a find within the PB code for ""&quot;" it gets located within two objects, whereas they both reference a "temp_xml_letter".  Not sure where or what temp_xml_letter resides???   The developer of this is no longer with us and my exposure to WSDL and Web Services is rather limited.  Need to get this resolved...please.
    This is the result of the search.  Notice the extraneous characters ("&quot;"):

    Maybe "extraneous" is an incorrect term.  Apparantly, based upon the writeup within Wiki, the parser I am using does not interpret the "&quot;"?  How do I find which parser is being utilized and how to control it?
    <<<
    If the document is read by an XML parser that does not or cannot read external entities, then only the five built-in XML character entities (see above) can safely be used, although other entities may be used if they are declared in the internal DTD subset.
    If the document is read by an XML parser that does read external entities, then the five built-in XML character entities can safely be used. The other 248 HTML character entities can be used as long as the XHTML DTD is accessible to the parser at the time the document is read. Other entities may also be used if they are declared in the internal DTD subset.

  • Namespace in XML Payload for HTTP Sender

    Hello,
    I have just configured my snychronous HTTP <--> RFC Scenario. When I want to test it with some XML payload in the HTTP testing tool I get a mapping runtime exception.
    After some investigation using the test tab in the message mapping I realized that missing namespace in the XML payload caused the error. I tried to add manually a namespace to the XML and then it worked
    This is very strange I though that the namespace of the sender interface is automatically added to the XML payload?
    Do you have any information on this?

    Hi,
    U need to copy the payload from Message mapping test message tab and use that payload.
    or u can use the HTTP test client for testing the same.
    sample HTML code to create HTTP Client:
    https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/66dadc6e-0a01-0010-9ea9-bb6d8ca48cc8
    You can also use the Wfetch application by Microsift for the same..
    download the same from below link

    Thnx

  • XML payload search in Xi messages

    Hi All,
    I need to get the XML pay load for a message which contains a specific value for a specific field. Also I need to get the XML message ID of this message. Is there any option available in Xi for this purpose?
    Thanks in advance..

    Hi,
    sure it is but you need to use trex search engine for that
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/43/6030fae92f5f87e10000000a1553f6/content.htm
    once you configure trex you will
    be able to search for XML payload from RWB
    (runtime workbench of XI)
    this is the first - fast way
    there are also some non standard ways
    but these are pretty slow and if you have many messages
    they will not be very efficient in use:

    if you are working in PI 7.0 the you need following code
    import java.io.FileInputStream;
    import java.io.FileOutputStream;

    However as Krish has pointedf out file adapter has option to set encoding type, you can try that option first.
