Hi Volendrug, welcome to the community!
Have you tried clearing the cache or data for the Flashlight app? If not please try this by going into Settings > Apps > All > Flashlight > tap Clear cache > test Flashlight > if doesn't work > go back and tap Clear data > test Flashlight.

  • Sony Xperia z1 sound on the left doesn't work

    Hello everybody,
    I have a problem with my sony xperia z1.
    On the left side the sound doesn't work anymore.
    I don't know if I put it out accidentally or if there's something broken.
    It is only with headphones.
    The right side just gives normal sound but the left side is completely shut off.
    If I just listen on the speaker there is no problem.
    Please help!
    Solved!

    Check if there is something in the 3.5 mm input,some dirt or something.If that is not the problem,you might need new headphones.

  • Xperia Z2: Stamina mode doesn't work aparently

    Hi,
    Stamina mode doesn't work aparently on my phone. I try all the configurations but the sotware doesn't turn off the wifi and neither the mobile data coming from the operator when i block and turn off the screen of the device. I continue receiving information from all the apps and i haven't done any exception on the stamina configuration. Any idea to solve this?
    Solved!

    Looks like you are talking about Low-Battery mode...
    First make sure that you have turned it ON. After that just see "Activation" section under Low Battery mode to find at what level it has been set to activate.. By default, Low battery mode gets activated at 20% battery level.

  • Mobile data doesn't work and I can't access the front camera.

    Hi, I received my new Xperia Z3 Compact in white just over a week ago and unfortunately I have few unresolved issued with it which kind of spoils the experience of owning a new phone.
    I  just switched from a number of Iphones and Xperia was the handset that really impressed me.
    I couldn't see the point of getting an overpriced Iphone with a limited storage capability.
    Unfortunately my Xperia Z3c has some issues;
    - I can't get the front camera work
    - I can get my internet only through Wi-Fi and my unlimited 3G data doesn't work at all (T-Mobile U.K)
    - Three Swipe Gesture doesn’t appear to be working as it should on any Android device (I'm told).
    So I am not a very happy user at the moment and slowly starting to miss the Iphone.

    Hi casson50ml,
    Welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.
    Sorry to hear about these issues, I would first suggest clearing the data for the camera.
    Menu > settings > Apps > All > Camera > Clear Data
    Once done try using the device.
    In regards to the Internet, try performing an Internet settings download.
    Menu > Settings > More > Internet Settings > Accept Disclaimer > Choose Network.
    Now try using the network data on the handset.
    Can you explain more about the 3 Finger Gesture issue?

  • Control center doesn't work all the time in iOS 8

    I have the new iPhone 6+ and have noticed that sometimes I can't pull up control center.
    I have to unlock it, then lock it again and then it will pull up. I use this method to access the torch at night.
    Also to switch off the torch when the phone is locked, the camera icon could be tapped. However this feature doesn't work anymore.
    Now I have to click the home button > swipe up the control center (hopefully it works) > tap the torch icon.
    It used to be easier when you could just click the home button > tap the camera icon.
    Please fix these issues soon.

    You are not addressing Apple here, we are users like you, so we cannot fix these issues. If you would like to tell Apple what your problem is, then you can leave them feedback HERE. Click on the appropriate link.
    However, if you want to try and troubleshoot your Control Center issue, then I would go into Settings>Control Center>Access on Lock Screen and if that is on, turn it off and back on again. Also, when accessing Control Center from the lock screen, make sure you are starting off of the screen when you begin to swipe upwards. That tends to work better. Sometimes starting on the screen, the finger does not get low enough for it to register.
    As far as the flashlight button, I never attempted to turn it off with the camera, I just tapped in Control Center.

  • Android AIR continuous autofocus doesn't work

    Hello!
    I am making an application for Android using AIR - it has to make a streaming of video from the camera to server. I started with a simple application which draws rear camera preview on the screen, the code looks like this:
    camera = Camera.getCamera("0");
    video = new Video(camera.width, camera.height);
    video.attachCamera(camera);
    And I have three problems when tesing the app on my LG L65 with Android 4.4.2:
    1) The preview is very dark. It becomes a bit brighter when I show the lamp, or some other sources of light - the brightness is being adjusted continuously, but when i return back to ordinal views with no really-bright sources - it becomes dark again. The front camera does not have such a problem - the brightness is ok. The most important here is that the native Camera Roll application shows good and bright previews from both cameras, and also, when i test a simple Android app to check camera preview - it also shows good and bright picture from both cameras - so, i have this problem only in AIR application and only for rear camera.
      Rear camera preview screenshot From AIR application
       Rear camera preview screenshot From Android application
    2) I noticed, that the continuous autofocus doesn't work in AIR application - it works (refocuses) only when manually calling Camera.setMode, but the solution of refocusing every, for example, 3 seconds won't fix the problem, because it will hang the video every time for half a second. There was a discussion here: https://forums.adobe.com/message/3775731, whitch led to creation of a bug in bugbase here: https://bugbase.adobe.com/index.cfm?event=bug&id=2921514, which was closed, but should not. It was concluded there, that if a smartphone does not provide continuous autofocus - it won't work continuously in AIR also. BUT: i checked my LG L65, and also Samsung Galaxy Note 2 for continuous autofocus - made a simple Android application, set the autofocus mode to continious, and it worked for both smartphones. But the AIR continuous autofocus did not, for both LG and Samsung. That's why i really ask you to reopen that bug in a bugbase and try to help to find some solution. The code I use to check continuous autofocus in Android:
    parameters.setFocusMode(Parameters.FOCUS_MODE_CONTINUOUS_VIDEO);
    camera.setParameters(parameters);
    3) I also tried to use flashlight at the same time, as the video is previewed from camera - and failed: we cannot use one camera object in AIR and one in ANE at the same time - we only can release it in one side to work with it in another, by making camera object null in AIR or by calling Camera.release in android. I could only blink the flashlight, using the native extension (make AIR camera null, start flashlight from ANE, release camera object in ANE, make a new camera object in AIR, attach it to video). What would you kindly suggest to do here - to show camera preview and use flashlight at the same time? Are there any possibilities to change android camera parameters to use in AIR camera with help of ANE or anything else? And maybe you are already planning to add some more functionality to Camera class in AIR to use more camera settings?
    Hope this post helps other developers when you answer!
    I also submitted the 3 bugs here:
    https://bugbase.adobe.com/index.cfm?event=bug&id=3927313
    https://bugbase.adobe.com/index.cfm?event=bug&id=3927321
    Also, i have made a feature request for using the flashlight in AIR during the camera preview working:
    https://bugbase.adobe.com/index.cfm?event=bug&id=3927326
    And a feature request for controlling the camera parameters of android and use them in AIR camera:
    https://bugbase.adobe.com/index.cfm?event=bug&id=3927339
    please, vote it up!
    Thanks,
    Vassad2214.

    Same question here. What I'm looking for is a camera app that would focus continually like a web cam. I think that is the tm you should look for in the app store. Or try googling "continuous auto-focus". I'm going to do that now.

  • I have a black iphone 5 and my flash doesn't work it used to work every once in a while but stopped

    I have a black iphone 5 and my flash doesn't work it used to work every once in a while but stopped I went into the camera app and tried to see if it would flash when I took a picture but I saw it light very faintly and hasn't done lot up since. Should I get the led replaced?

    First, try bringing up Control Center by swiping up from the bottom of the home screen.  Turn on the flashlight by tapping the icon in the lower left.  Does the flashlight work?  If not, perhaps you have a hardware issue.
    If it works, check the top of the screen when you open the Camera app to make sure you have the flash on.

  • Camera app (back + flash) doesn't work

    Hey to all of you,
    for one day now my back camera doesn't work anymore. The screen is just black. The front camera works normally. I couldn't choose the flash light app either in the swipe up menue. I just updatet my software to the newest one. The phone didn't fall down or anything similar.
    Is there anything you can help me with? Thanks in advance for your help. I miss the camera already!
    Kind regards,
    Julius

    FIX FOR REAR CAMERA AND FLASHLIGHT!!!
    I also had the same flash and rear camera problems as everyone else but I figured it was a software problem.
    To fix the flash/flashlight, simply download the flashlight app. The one everyone used before iOS 7. The flash should work immediately.
    To fix the rear camera go to Settings > General > Restrictions. Enable restrictions and turn the Camera off, then take the restriction off. Check your camera, it should work immediately.
    Hope this answers a lot of questions and saves a bunch of money due to Apple's failures.
    Cheers,
    Tim

  • Brand new today and camera doesn't work

    The front facing camera works fine, although a little slow. However when using the main camera I'm left staring at a blank screen, if I put the torch on it goes off a couple of seconds, and if I take a picture (of the blackness) it either freezes or says 'unfortunately camera has stopped working' I've literally owned the phone for 5 hours and it doesn't work, any help? I've tried going to settings apps all camera and closing etc but no luck.

    Hi Chimb0,
    Welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.
    I suggest you try clearing the data from the Camera application.
    Menu > Settings > Apps > All > Camera > Clear Data.
    If this does not work, then I suggest that you take the handset back to the place of purchase.
    I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

  • Sony Bridge doesn't work on my mac/phone.

    So I have a Sony Xperia U and my Mac is version 10.5.8 and I've downloaded this Sony Bridge but it doesn't work, I connect my phone to my computer and nothing happens, my phone just starts charging with the computer and that's it. What version of Sony Bridge should I download then? What should I do?

    Try installing Bridge for Mac from this link instead and check if you can get any connection.
