    Hi Seetha Ram,
       Value mapping:  Where we maintain a table of values which are mapped.
    based on the incoming value we can send the respective resultant value.
        for Eg: for language SAP maintains as EN  --> English  etc

    Hello,
    The XSD you are using is from Data Type and you are using it for mapping.
    Instead export XSD for Message Type and also pass the XML schema for source that will solve the issue and your XSLT will be generated.
    Regards,

  • Use XSLT mapping for multiple payloads

    Lydia,
    Do you mean multiple mapping as
    <message1>
    Payload1
    </message1>
    <message2>
    Payload2
    </message2>
    If you are generating XSLT mapping using any tool then you have can take xsd from the messagemapping and just map it.
    in you  target structure message1, message2 should be there.

    Thank you for your response.  I tried several variations - including this one - but I can't seem to get the results to match your screen shot.  Also, I am not sure if the tag should be 'Content-Type' or content_type ....

  • XSLT Mapping for creating Excel files

    Hi ,
    I am following the blog /people/michal.krawczyk2/blog/2005/12/10/xi-generating-excel-files-without-the-java-nor-the-conversion-agent-not-possible by Michal regarding conversion of Flat files to Excel file format.
    My input xml format is
             <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
             <FILE>
                  <Record>
         <Name>Navin</Name>
                         <EmpID>123456</EmpID>
                         <Location>Bangalore</Location>
                  </Record>
                 <Record>
         <Name>Ravi</Name>
                         <EmpID>789456</EmpID>
                         <Location>Hyderabad</Location>
                  </Record>
             </FILE>
    i need to convert this file into an Excel format with each record in single rows with Column Header names as Name,EmpID,Location.
    Could you please suggest how the XLST mapping should be done for this as i am very new to XSLT mapping concept.
    Please suggest how we can attain the target structure(datatype) and  steps to do this XSLT mapping.
    Note:- We are not doing Adapter module for this conversion.
    Thanks,
    Navin

    This can be done with file content convertion. Use delimiter ; for excel

    If you do not understand XSLT, you you want to maintain your development, in case if an error?

  • F4 help not reflecting in ALV Grid for fixed values specified in domain

    Hi experts,
       As per subject i have a field for which i have assigned 5 fixed values in the domain level (of that field) . The problem is when i am displaying my ALV grid output i need a F4 help and F4 Option for the same is not reflecting and i have assigned in the field catlog as shown bellow.
    wa_fcat-fieldname = 'ZDEPLOY'.
      wa_fcat-tabname = 'IT_FINAL'.
    wa_fcat-f4availabl = 'X'.
    wa_fcat-key     =  'X'.
      WA_FCAT-SELTEXT_L = 'Deployment Planned'.
      wa_fcat-outputlen = '25'.
       WA_FCAT-EDIT = 'X'.
       WA_FCAT-REF_FIELDNAME = 'ZDEPLOY'.
       WA_FCAT-REF_TABNAME = 'ZETMDEPL'.
      APPEND WA_FCAT TO IT_FIELDCAT.
      CLEAR WA_FCAT.
    for the above field the f4 help is not reflecting.
    Intrestingly i have another field which i have declared using the same procedure for which my F4 help (with fixed values ) is reflecting in the same program .with the values as shown below
        wa_fcat-fieldname = 'ZFINAL'.
      wa_fcat-tabname = 'IT_FINAL'.
      WA_FCAT-SELTEXT_L = 'Final Status'.
      wa_fcat-outputlen = '10'.
       WA_FCAT-EDIT = 'X'.
       wa_fcat-ref_fieldname = 'ZFINAL'.
       wa_fcat-ref_tabname = 'ZETMDEPL'.
      APPEND WA_FCAT TO IT_FIELDCAT.
      CLEAR WA_FCAT.
    can u plz suggest me with a solution .

  • Range selection for Fix value variable in BPS

    Hi,
       When create vaiable, there is a fix value variable, under selection condition, we can choose either multiple single value or range, however if we choose the range, let say mtareial number from 1 to 100, when we run the BPS application through UPSPL, the value for material variable will be populated with value 1 to 100, when I try to change the value to a single value,it's not allowed me to change,  while the user define value type, we can change the value, Is this supposed to be?

    JW,
    BPS variables does not allow the choice of multiple single values, you can choose a single value OR a range of values. This issues has been brought up with SAP Development.
    If you need single values or a complete range of values, you can add each single value as a fixed value and the range as another fixed value that can be selected. You can select each single value individually or the whole range (or any subranges you specified) but not multiple selections of single values.
    In user definted variable if you check input allowed by users, you can add some values and the users can add more but then they could potentially go into material numbers they should not get access too.
    Hope this helps,
    Mary

  • DrillDown in ALV for fixed values of domains

    Hi,
    i want to create an ALV Grid with an structure that has data elements with domains containing fixed values.
    As far as i know, in Table Controls and other dynpro fields refering to such domains, the drilldown function is automatically available.
    In an ALV-Grid the values are available with the F4-Button.
    Ok, you can select a value, but the value is shown in the grid is the fixed value not the short text of the value like it is in Table Controls. What I did is to implement an conversion exit to show the short text in the grid, but I am not really satisfied.
    What I ask you: Is there a possability to show a field of the ALV-Structure with drilldown functionality automatically, when the domain has fixed values?
    Thanks in Advance
    Michael

    Hi Michael,
    I think I have found the solution to your problem. When you call the method SET_DROP_DOWN_TABLE of the ALV Grid, you can see that there are two tables parameters (both of which are optional).
    You can use the second tables parameter to give the short text of your field-value.
    Consider the following code snippet.
    ==========================
    data : lt_dropdown_with_alias type LVC_T_DRAL,
           ls_dropdown_with_alias type LVC_S_DRAL.
    ls_dropdown_with_alias-handle = '1'.
    ls_dropdown_with_alias-int_value = 'T'.
    ls_dropdown_with_alias-value = 'True'.
    append ls_dropdown_with_alias to lt_dropdown_with_alias.
    ls_dropdown_with_alias-handle = '1'.
    ls_dropdown_with_alias-int_value = 'F'.
    ls_dropdown_with_alias-value = 'False'.
    append ls_dropdown_with_alias to lt_dropdown_with_alias.
    call method ALV_GRID->set_drop_down_table
                exporting IT_DROP_DOWN_ALIAS = lt_dropdown_with_alias.
    ==========================
    Obviously, <b>int_value</b> is the internal value and <b>value</b> is the text that you want to be displayed.
    Hope this helps.
    Regards,
    Anand Mandalika.
    P.S. I'm almost certain that this code will work. If it does, please do reward the points.

    Hi,
    You get name of an attribute by this code
    <xsl:for-each select="@*">
        <xsl:text>Value of </xsl:text>
               <xsl:value-of select="name(.)"/>
        <xsl:text> is </xsl:text><xsl:value-of select="."/>
    </xsl:for-each>
    Change value by providing new value in <xsl:value-of select="."/>

  • Delimiter in Syndication Maps for Multi-Valued Fields

    We are in the process of upgrading to MDM 7.1 from MDM 5.5.  In one of our syndication maps we are syndicating a multi-valued hierarchy field with no particular limit as to how many values the field can hold.  In the old MDM 5.5 Syndication map the xml output delimits this data with ";" (semi-colon) as in the below example.
    <Field>Level 1Level 2Value 1; Level 1Level 2Value 2;Level 1Level2Value 3</Field>
    In MDM 7.1 the values are separated by a "," (comma) like in the example below.
    <Field>Level 1Level 2Value 1, Level 1Level 2Value 2, Level 1Level2Value 3</Field>
    Is there anyway to change the delimiter in MDM 7.1 from a "," (comma) to a ";" (semi-colon) with out splitting the field?
    Thanks!
    Sincerely,
    Courtney

    Hi Brewer,
    Is there anyway to change the delimiter in MDM 7.1 from a "," (comma) to a ";" (semi-colon) with out splitting the field?
    Yes, for e.g in in your syndication map at source item lookup field display as follows
    Country
            |___ Code
            |___ Name
    just map country to destination item instead of using Code or Name, multi vaule will display with ; operator
    In one of our syndication maps we are syndicating a multi-valued hierarchy field with no particular limit as to how many values the field can hold.
    if you want to set length of field you require to set properties at destination item as follows :
    Fixed Column Width : the specific with  destination item
    Max Item Length : Maximum length allowed for the item
    Hope Above mention point will resolved your problem if not revert back

  • XSLT-Mapping for Genesys in combination with IC Webclient

    Hi,
    Im not sure if this is the correct area of the SDN but I dont know better
    I have the following problem:
    In the Account Identification Profile I can define an ApplicationID and an XSLT-File to transform my SOAP-request accordingly to search a Businesspartner by CAD (CallAttachedData).
    I used the sample program CRM_IC_BPIDENT_EXT_IAD_GENESYS and didnt change anything but whatever I send via the CCS there is no search done.
    Am I using the XSLT-program the wrong way in the meaning of "adapat it to your needs" or am I missing sth?
    Thanks for your help,
    Ben.

    Thanks for your reply.
    The code for the XSLT-File is as follows:
    <xsl:transform version="1.0"
    xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform"
    xmlns:sapxsl="http://www.sap.com/sapxsl"
    xmlns:asx="http://www.sap.com/abapxml" version="1.0"
    >
    <xsl:strip-space elements="*"/>
    <xsl:template match="Application">
    <asx:abap>
    <asx:values>
    <PartnerSearch>
    <xsl:for-each select="*">
    <item>
    <NAME><xsl:value-of select="name()"/></NAME>
    <VALUE><xsl:value-of select="."/></VALUE>
    </item>
    </xsl:for-each>
    </PartnerSearch>
    </asx:values>
    </asx:abap>
    </xsl:template>
    </xsl:transform>
    I cant tell if the output-format is correct as there is no error, at least I dont know where I could search for. There is no obvious errormessage at the IC client.
    The output looks like this:

  • XSLT mapping for HL loop sequence S,O,I,O,I,O,I

    I am trying to use BPEL to map an EDI 856 ASN from the XML Gateway where the trading partner requires the following HL looping sequence; S,O,I,O,I,O,I. It is shipment, order, item, order, item etc.. Using the for each constructs what I get is S,O,O,O,I,I,I. Does anyone know of a way to do this in the XSLT mapper?

    Hi,
    You can try this by making use of preceding-sibling and following-sibling axes in XSLT..after S, u can put a
    <xsl:if test following-sibling::ns0:ReadDataFromOutput[ns0:segment='O']> and try same with rest of the segement.

  • XSLT mapping for 856 question

    Ramesh,
    I hate to keep bugging everyone but i have another question.
    I am trying to transform data into an X-12 856 document (outbound). I have most of the looping and everything working. My only issue is how do you handle the parent child relationships in the HL01/02 ? Since xpath does not let you increment a variable how can you keep the count of the HL loops let alone tell the HL02 (parent's HL01) We are using a SOPI scenario and the items need to be subordinate to the appopriate pack level.
    I really appreciate all the time and awnsers you have given me so far :)
    Thank you in advance,
    Jaden

    Is there a tutorial on how to use the XSLT Data Mapper? I can't seem to find it, I'm using JDeveloper 11g preview 2. I ran the studio version 10.1.3.1.0, but I can't find it either.
    I found a document on XSLT Data Mapper, but it seems like they are for WSDL mapping. Is it possible to map between two XMLs/XSD?
