XY position help

Hi everyone, I am working on a xy stage movement vi based of the XY Grid Inspector template. I am having problems doing a couple of things, I posted the code below, it is stripped of the motor vis it just plots the path of a 'virtual stage'.
Here are the things I am trying to add:
A percentage for each 'position' to be overlapped by its nearest neighbors.
The second thing is more tricky: I would like to be able to remove or add points (they are called grids on my vi) by clicking on them and then adjusting the movement array so that position is removed from the path (ie it moves to the next available position).
Finally, is there a way to add a mouse over event so that images that are taken at a given grid position are shown like a minimap by moving the mouse over the position of the grid?

IWeb - Fixed position - help!

Nothing wrong with your code.
Since the code is displayed in a HTML snippet the fixed attribute of the div has no meaning.
What needs to be fixed on the page is the HTML snippet itself.
This page comes close to what you want :

It was a first attempt to add custom menus to any part of the page.
The menu you see there is not an HTML snippet, but a text box.
It contains a word, which I find with a JavaScript and then replace the content of the texbox with the menu code.

It's what they call obsolete, because since then I have figured out a more convenient way to add menus.
See the Maaskant en Roodhout pages.
These menus are more manegable because you can add/delete menus and menu items without iWeb.
Your menu would fit. The only thing to do is to separate the HTML menu code and the <style>.
To fix the menu to the page, use the code in the Fixed menu page :

Pdf watermark, positioning help

I've recently been playing around with the idea of automatically updating pdf's that are submitted to our website with our web address. Idealy the text would be a clickable link that is centered and positioned at the very top of the page (although im not quite sure if the clickable link part is even possible with cfpdf or itext). I've been able to add watermarks using both cfpdf and itext, but the watermarks always seem to be pushed down almost an inch from the top of the page and i need the watermark to be at the very top of the page so that it doesn't interfere with the other text (even though the watermark has an opacity of 85%). I'm looking for suggestions on how i can:
A. position the text/watermark at the very top of the page.
B. make the text a clickable link.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

It sounds like your positioning is off. Can you post the code you are using to position the watermark?
Regarding hyperlinks, you can use an Anchor object to add a hyperlink to an existing pdf.

Spry submenu positioning help

Can anyone help me with this? I have a horizontal spry menu
that takes the entire width of the page. There are submenus for
each item that default to appearing below and extend to the right
of each item. This is fine except for the last two items on the
right whose submenus extend off the screen to the right. I've tried
making a class to change the positioning of these last two
submenus, but this changes their visibility to alway visible,
instead of just when moused-over. Sorry if someone's answered this
before, but I been searching and not found anything.

Absoulte Position Help

Hello im creating an email campain and they keep mentioning to make sure the right colum is not absolute position and needs to be in a table...

Layer or div tag positioning help wanted

Okay, actually I have two problems: 1) I have managed to
create a navigation bar, but I can't find out how to save it other
than saving the html page it was created on. The help literature
seems to vaguely indicate that a nav bar created can be saved and
used on other pages, but I'll be damned if I can find where there
are any details of this process.
*BTW, my navbar has multiple elements or buttons, so I can't
just copy paste, ctrl/shift doesn't seem to work selecting multiple
elements, tho it works on regular images*
2) Once I solve problem #1, I am goin to want to have the
navigation bar "stay put" in it's position on the screen, immune to
any scrolling that occurs on the page(s). So, I plan on putting
into a layer or div that can be given this behavior or property.
Unfortunately, I can't find or figure out how to do that, either.
Is this a good plan? Is there a better way to make the Nav bar
exempt from page scrolling?

No offense, but I think your approach may be a bit off base
here (of

are trying to
achieve, so I could be completely wrong). The first part of
your
question already makes me nervous, because it makes me think
you have
used Fireworks or another image program to create your
navbars.
Depending on which version of Fireworks you are using, that
could be
disastrous or only unwieldly. The navigation bars created by
Fireworks
are definitely not the best solution,and you can go through
years of
posts, particularly by Murray, advising against their use.
If you are interested in an easier way to create your
navigation, post back.
Second, wanting your navigation to stay put while the rest of
the page
scrolls is something I see here a lot, but it's not
necessarily how the
web works. People plunge into frame hell in order to
accomplish it,
but it is like trying to kill a mosquito with a jackhammer.
There is a good extension that will do this for you if you
insist, but
given the problems you are having now, I would first create a
properly
coded page that behaves as a normal web page should, and ONLY
THEN
worry about server-side includes
revisit the issue of fixed and scrolling page elements.
An excellent tutorial for creating a cross-browser friendly,
modern
(e.g.not relying on tables for layout) page can be found at
www.projectseven.com (search for "quickdraw" without the
quotation
marks), where you can also find an excellent tutorial for
creating
horizontal or vertical navigation menus that are simple and
can be used
in templates or server-side includes (search for "uberlink"

Ipod nano locked in the Pause position HELP!!!!!

Ipod was working fine lastnight. Turned it on this morning and the Cover Flow hesitates to work when turned sideways. Now it won't even show the covers and all the sudden the ipod locked itself in the pause position!
Can ANYONE help me with this? I just got this and now I can't even use it!

I had to reset the settings by holding down the menu and center keys for a few seconds until the iPod screen shows up. After that showed up it seems to be working fine now.

Regions Position Help!

Hi everyone,
My problem is I just cant organize my regions in the way I want and I'm wondering if someone could help me out.
This is a sketch of what I'm trying to do:

As you see I want 2 regions one next to the other in the same column, it is that possible in APEX? The only thing I can do is setting the region into column 3 but it moves next to the parameters region which is not what I actually want.
I tried to change page templates bodies and that stuff without success.

There is many ways to do it.
If you did not succeed edit page template try this:
Think that you can wrap your regions to table cells creating dummy regions containing simple html.
Just experement this by creating new blank page.
Then create 2 HTML regions. just use default what wizard gives.
Place few items to both regions just for example.
Then part how you get those next each other
Create HTML region and set it template "No template". Lets call this region TABLE_START
Insert code to region source

Mouse position help

When using MouseListener and MouseMotionListener in an applet, I can not record events that happen outside the applet. Is there a way to record the x and y position of the mouse along with button presses when they occur outside the applet window? Thank you for your time.

Context Menu Position Help

My client wants to use Theme 12 instead of Theme 13 for the document library packaged application. I am having issues with the context menu. <b>I have the menu working</b>. I dont need links to threads about getting the menu to work. My issue is the position of the context menu is wrong and I have been fighting the css for two days trying to get it to work, I even took a crack at it with Firebug and couldnt get it sorted, but css's arent really my thing either. It appears on the bottom of screen on the left side of the screen. It seems to appear below all other regions, but I havent tested to confirm this.
Using APEX 4.1, IE, Firefox, and Chrome.

Forms position help

Hi i have a form which is of the size 800*600 so i use a scroll bar to go the bottom of the fom..i have a button at the bottom to call another form..when i scroll and press the button the other form gets called but the position of the next form is half way through(ie..the form is shown frm the position of the scroll bar with respect to first form)..i need the form 2 be shown fully from the first..how this can be done..
one more thing..
.i have a radio button in a MULTI-RECORD block..the user can select any row using the radio button and can open the details of the respective record using a button OPEN..in forms we have limitation tht all the radio buttons in each of the record is considered as single button..so when i click the first record the first radio button is selectd,when i go 2 the 2nd button and click tht also gets selected but the first button is not cleared off.....
so i wrote a logic 2 clear the buttons(ie the records which are above /below the selected cursor record,tht is working 5n..)
but here also when i selected any button the selection is happening fine..but the record i select just runs away 2 some other positon(ie .. as i traverse through the block frm first recrod 2 last record for clearing other radio buttons.)..the user here is blind folded...can this be handled effectrively???????????????

ok let me explain my form has 5 buttons namely print,printall,open,new,save,return
it is a multi record block and i display 8 rows at a time and remaining has to be scrolled..............i have filters at the top(ie radio buttons to filter the o/p)
next comes my block and the buttons at last.......................
when i need to modify any changes i scroll down to save button and save it ..
to open another form i scroll and clikc open ,so next form is openied but the form position is half way (ie..as i have scrolled the first form the scroll locks in the same positon its not moving to new top positon)..i need 2 get it at top to make the new form visible compeltely

Movie position, help me

i finished a flash movie.
i just realized that i would like to position all the symbols
in it, so the movie itself, 200 px above the entire HTML page.
is there a way to do this simply, instead of selecting all
the symbols already tweened one by one?

i wish i had a nickel everytimne this gests asked - everyday
it is asked and answered in some
fashion and for whatever reason it is the hardest feature in
flash for people to find.

Random position help...

Hi, I'm trying to create a simple screensaver whereby a
company logo just simply fades in and out at random positions on
the stage indefinitely. Would anybody have any example script for
this? Or know where to download something similar?

1. Put the logo image on the stage.
2. Convert it to a graphic symbol. Again convert the graphic
to a movie clip.
3. Inside the movie clip make a fade in fade out animation
using the graphic inside - use about 20 - 30 frames.
4. Write the following code on the movie clip timeline first
frame.

List position help

Ok, I am needing to pull bullet items to the left so that
they align vertically with the paragraph text above them on the
left side. How do I accomplish this?? I know this is not normal LI
position alignment, but nothing is normal in eLearning development
world. My list objects are indenting underneath the text above it.
The attached code is what I am needing to use.

I understood that. I was going through my list of questions that I had asked over the last three years and atleast marking them "answered". That way those ?s are not just hanging out and someone thinking that I was still looking for an answer. Of all the problems that I asked the forum that did not get answered, I eventually figured out or stumbled onto my solution through trial n error. If a problem is kicking my butt and no one answers or asks for further info, I usually ask again.
But today I was just doing a little house cleaning. Thanks for checking though.

well, create a Transform3D and using the set() provide the Vector3f coordinates. eg:
