    If these charges are being made to a credit or debit card, the most immediate thing you need to do is to call your credit card company or bank and report the unauthorized charges. That company can contact Apple if they need additional information.
    Next, log into your iTunes Store account and see if the purchases are reflected in the Purchase History. If they are, immediately change the password to your iTunes Store account, making sure it's not something easily guessed or looked up. Then go here:
    http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/
    and follow the instructions to report the issue to the iTunes Store. 
    If the charges are not reflected in the Purchase History, then it's most likely a fraudulent charge to your credit card directly rather than an unauthorized purchase through your iTunes Store account and it will be up to your bank to handle.

    For Amazon stuff you should consult the Amazon help and forums.  It has nothing to do with Apple or iBooks.
    For your wrong book problem, try using the "report a problem" link on your receipt or in the Purchases section of your iTunes account.

    Welcome to the    Discussions
    Somehow you have ended up in the iChat 3 forum (it has a link on the Discussion front page so people post about iChat 4 and 5 here as well)
    There are two Forums within the iTunes Category (Under iTunes for Windows an iTunes for Mac) that relate to Apps (Depending which it was bought for)
    You should have Email receipts for other purchases which will give you contact details for any issue with the iTunes Store.
    If you have the actual receipt then the Report a Problem takes you to that purchase record in iTunes

    I have a charge on my account and on an email that I did not make I wasn't on the app when it went off I was on a complete different site when I recovered the email 

    Nobody else has access to your account or devices and may have made the purchase - also emails are sometimes delalyed in being sent (I sometimes don't get them until the following day).     xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. Same has just happened to me and not a single way of contacting Skype in relation fraud app at from this xxxxxxxxxxxx forum. This is no way to deal with customers for such a large company and i will be cancelling my skype account and making sure i tell all my friends/co workers how terrible skypes security and support is. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    I just found the following on the Skype web site.  WTF?   This is negative option marketing in my opinion (the seller opts you in to something without your explicit consent and you have to opt out if you don't want it)!

    Could have been a number accessed from a sky box or free view box. Pressing the red button can instigated a charged call. Do that a few times on xfactor or strictly and the cost soon builds up.

    Your search had no results. To report a problem about purchases older than 90 days, contact iTunes Store Support.
    Every place i go, transfers me somewhere else..
    I don't know who to contact, and ASAP, i don't want to be charged this $38.49..

    Does anything show on your account's purchase history ? If you log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option, you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it. Click on that and you should then see a list of your purchases
    If it does, and nobody else has access to your account or devices and may have made them, then you can try contacting iTunes Support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption
    If nothing shows on your account's purchase history then you may also want to contact your card issuer.

    No. It would have been done for security reasons. You notified them that money was being unknowingly taken from your account, so they froze it.
    Change your Apple ID here
    And also check for unusual activity on your credit card with your bank. Change all your security password while you are at it.

    After much back and forth drama, and the assistance of one awesome person at Apple, and also a great iTunes representitive, they have agreed to refund me.
    I have not yet recieved the refund but will post here when I do.
    This has been a long and drawn out headache, but I am glad that finally things seem to be set straight.

    First, have the recipient check any anti-spam filters that may be present on her email account or in any email application to make sure that messages from Apple aren't being blocked. If she is sure that is not the case, go here:
