I recently asked a questions saying:
"I click on a YouTube video, an error message shows on the screen saying: "An error occurred, please try again later. Learn more" with a black background. I am pretty sure all of you guys have experienced it at least once. However, this phenomenon occurs every time I click a video. I cleared my cookies, updated my Adobe flash player, enabled java script, and updated Firefox. But these did not solve my problems. Help me out please!"
Someone replied to my question, saying that I should disable my adobe accelerator, which I have done. However, the youtube videos still do not load and the error message keep coming up. I am getting really frustrated. I have tried everything. Please help me.Same problem here, none of the posted solutions worked. :/ Everything up to date, safe mode or not, doing everything abive... still nothing. Videos show the loading animation for a little while, then "an error occurred..."

Firefox 3.6.3 wont play embedded youtube videos. It comes up with "an error occurred please try again later. this happens all the time. If you click to go to youtube the clip plays.

Every time Firefox openedI was having the same issue up until I found a solution myself a few minutes ago. If you have "Accept Third Party Cookies" un-checked it will not allow the embedded "Third party" youtube videos to load. You can either Check the box to allow third party cookies or add an exception to allow youtube.com WITHOUT the www. You just want it to be Youtube.Com.
To do so just go to Tools: Options: Privacy: Exceptions: Type in Youtube.com and click Allow. Then click Close and OK. It should start working immediately. -
When ever I try to watch any video, from a link or YouTube say, using Firefox, I get a message ‘An error as occurred. Please try again later’. It has been this way for some weeks. I don’t have this problem using Safari or Opera.
I believe that our “Werbung problem” adds an additional second hyperlink to the pop-up window. This second link is activated whenever you trigger a saved hyperlink to a Mail.com site.
I had the same problem and eliminated it by deleting all bookmarks, hyperlinks and automatic links that take firefox to a mail.com address. So I just deleted all bookmarks I had saved for mail.com. I also changed my home page link because it also went to my email at mail.com. I then did a warm boot, opened firefox and re-saved my bookmarks and homepage to the desired addresses. Good luck. -

I think Real Player 15.0.6 is supposed to fix this problem. There was a conflict between Real Player and Flash this whole summer that broke Flash videos. I have updated all plugin with mozilla plugincheck.
But could not succeed.Youtube is working fine with older version.You can remove all data stored in Firefox from a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry ("History > Show All History" or "View > Sidebar > History") or via the about:permissions page.
Using "Forget About This Site" will remove all data stored in Firefox from that domain like bookmarks, cookies, passwords, cache, history, and exceptions, so be cautious and if you have a password or other data from that domain that you do not want to lose then make a note of those passwords and bookmarks.
You can't recover from this 'forget' unless you have a backup of the involved files.
It doesn't have any lasting effect, so if you revisit such a 'forgotten' website then data from that website will be saved once again.
You can check if DOM Storage is enabled.

Everytime I click on a youtube video it says "an error has occured. please try again later"
So. Its been happening for a while now.
When I go on IE and Google Chrome, Youtube works just fine.
However, when I go on Mozilla, The video would not load and there is a pop up that says

I updated my flash player and Mozilla as well.
I've also cleared all my cookies and cache as well as my history.
Plus, I uninstalled and reinstalled Mozilla but nothing works.
Also find that its not only youtube but any video player as well.

Since a couple of days, youtube videos stopped working - they'd display the "An error occurred. Try again later" message on Firefox, whereas on Opera they work just fine. I tried to totally clean the cache, and they started working again. Not sure why, but cleaning the cache also set the cookie button plug-in to refuse YouTube cookies, so YouTube kept asking me which language I'd wish to set as the default one; so I re-enabled cookies and set the default language, and as soon as I did this, videos stopped working again. I tried to re-install Firefox (over the previous installation, no way to uninstall it via the control panel), same thing. Videos are working as long as YouTube cookies are rejected.
Suggestions?

Whenever I try to view a video on youtube, I get "An error occurred. Please try again later."
I am using the latest version of Firefox (4.0.1) and Shockwave Flash plugin (10.3.181.14) on a Windows Vista machine. Whenever I try to view a video on youtube, I get "An error occurred. Please try again later." If I restart in safe mode, everything works fine. I figure that the problem stems from a extension incompatibility, but cannot figure out which one. I haven't installed a new plugin recently.
Do you have an example of such a video?
If you went to m.youtube.com did you switch to "Desktop" mode at some point? If so, switch back to "Mobile version" (at bottom of page). -
Firefox will not load Facebook as of today. It says, Please try again later.
I have not been able to get into Facebook using Firefox all day today. It keeps saying Please try again later. I have done nothing different, it just started happening.
You could try the new Reset feature. This duplicates certain key data from your active settings folder into a new one, bypassing some add-ons and custom settings. Your plugins will still be active, but could be disabled manually if you like.

Embedded YouTube videos always result in "An error occurred, please try again later."
No matter what website I'm no, all embedded videos on youtube pages result in the player window loading everything but the video (buttons, timebar, related videos, etc) but never the video itself. Instead it's a black box with "An error occurred, please try again later" displayed.
If I go to the video's page on the actual YouTube, it plays without a problem. Embedded videos that aren't from youtube work fine, too. This only occurs with YouTube videos embedded in other non-youtube pages. This only occurs with FF (the past few versions, too), Chrome works just fine, and on several different computers (XP, Vista x64, and 7 x64).
Also, clearing Cache does nothing, nor does clearing cookies.The problem is with the the [http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=1781785 Third Party Cookies]
