Z2 Status bar not pulling down

Hi everyone, hoping someone can help.
As the subject says - the status/notification bar (or whatever its called) is not 'pulling down'. I've switched phone off and on a few times. Pressed the little red button next to sim card slot....nothing is working.
Any ideas/solutions appreciated.

I have the same probleme with my new xperia z2 I ve just bought it 5 days ago and the notification /status bar isnot sliding down I even reinstalled the software using sus but nothing helped. this is the worst phone I ve evwer seen in just 5 days I have experienced water inside the camera lens beacuse of the gaps and ridiculous heat issue in each task and the camera really sucked i cant do anything beacuse of heating really disappointed from sony I had xperia p and it was much better than this s**t.excuse me for my manners but I am really mad.

Status bar/Notification pull down difficult in home screen

Weird issue I'm getting since installing 5.1 While in the lock screen, if I was to pull down the status bar - it's fine. Same sensitivity as before. Once I unlock my phone, trying to pull down the status bar is incredibly difficult. Takes about 5 swipes before it comes down. Anyone else having this issue? CheersMarc

Can not pull down notification bar in PORTRAIT mode

I bought K900 from flipkart.com 2 months ago and everything was working ok. Now suddenly I have a problem with the notification bar; I can not pull down my notification bar. This problem started when I was using "GOOGLE+ app" and suddenly the notification bar automatically got pulled down; from that point I am unable to pull down my notification bar down. I have tried following ->
1) Disable google+ app, uninstall google+ uppdates
2) Restart phone normally and ALSO restarting the phone in safe mode.
3) clear cache using an app "App managet" and also clear ALL cache using the recovery (by pressing vol down and power button).
4) Factory reset
5) tried another lauchers : LauncherPro, Atom launcher
Has anyone faced this problem? There is an app on playstore "Drop down" which pulls down the notification bar. The touch sensors and also the display is working fine in the area of the notification bar (BUT I can not pull down by using fingers/swipe-down action). When the screen is in LANDSCAPE mode i.e. while playing a video using MXPlayer; the notification bar CAN BE PULLED DOWN, BUT CAN NOT in PORTRAIT mode.
I have also read on the internet that some people having samsung galaxy s3/s4 have also faced the same problem.
Can anybody suggest me to do something? Are my screen pixels/touch sensors dead on the top most row??
My K900 is stock(non-rooted) and has android 4.2.1; I have not updated my phone to the latest firmware.

I called Apple and was completely disappointed with their answer. They indicated that they would not answer such a question, since they deemed it to be "outside of the scope of Apple support" since my question was deemed "not a consumer-oriented
question."
So yesterday, I took my Samsung SyncMaster 204T monitor to the local Apple retailer to try it out on an actual system. I specifically tried it out on the 24" iMac with the nVidia 7300GT graphics card, since that is the system I was interested in.
It turned out that this monitor works beautifully in portrait mode with the above system using Tiger 10.4.8.
So, I went and bought it!!

Lumia 920 status bar not working

I am unable to pull down my status bar or switch my phone to silent. I thought maybe the screen was broken but I am able to touch my Facebook notifications icon which is also at the top of the screen and it works. Also am unable to retrieve text messages by pressing the bar that pops up when I'm in an app or web browser. I have to close it out, go to the home screen and open the text message icon to retrieve it. I have had the phone for 5 days. I didn't even realize I was suppose to be able to access the status bar or switch my phone to silent or retrieve messages by touching the top until I spoke to another Lumia owner.

Well from my experience, if I receive an sms in the middle of using an app, say for instance, IE, tapping on the notification does bring me to the message. Can confirm if this applies to all apps though. Even if not, there is no need to close the app. Just tap the windows icon at the bottom of the screen and that should bring you back to the start screen without closing the app.
Tapping the top of the screen bring up the icons at the top only work from the start screen but there do not pull down.

I want pull-down menus of 'action', 'edit', 'query', 'block','record', 'field', 'window' and 'help' to display.
What property setting or other item do I need to change?

Windows 7 PC's not pulling down updates as per GPO

Good Morning All,
I would really appreciate some help.
I am seeing that most of my Windows 7 Client PC's are not pulling down updates from our Windows 2012 with WSUS Version: 6.2.9200.16384.
All PC's are in a security group called User_Windows-7 and have a the WSUS GPO linked to that, below are my WSUS settings:
As you can see I have specified the WSUS server for the clients to see VIA IP with the port number for WSUS (I read this was recommended - Can this be confirmed)

I'm bought the bento from App Store, I finished the payment, but the status bar appeared but doesn't show any progress. Strange!!

I dont want to Display the popup, I want to Display in Status Bar as a Error Message.

Phone will not pull down OTA Update

My Phone will not pull down OTA Update.
Please help

PS - someone on the MOTO forum suggested to make sure you don't have a setting set that prevents the OTA update:
Menu>Settings>Data Manager>Data delivery>Social applications
Make sure that the Sync over Wi-Fi only setting is NOT checked. If it is than uncheck it and try System updates again.

Weird message below status bar - icons move down and almost touch dock

Ever since installing 3.0 on my 3g iphone I've had a weird problem. Roughly around an hour or so after the phone is on, the icons on the page move down (about an 1/8 of an inch) and the words "Revisar ADN" appear below the status bar. A little bit later the message will go away but the icons will remain shifted down. The only way to fix it is to turn the phone off and back on again, but again, roughly an hour later it happens again.
I have restored several times but to no avail.
Some more info about the situation: I purchased and activated the phone in Guatemala (where I live) and my carrier is Claro. The words "revisar ADN" mean "check DNA" in english. The phone is not jailbroken or anything like that. Even though the carrier is Claro, the international settings are in English with the exception of the spanish language added to the keyboard. I've had the phone for about 6 months and on 2.2.1 never got this message.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks so much for the information and the investigation on this (I saw you posting in other forums as well). Through some trial and error I think things are working finally. Here is the story for anyone else that might suffer from the same problem.
I originally tried the SIM trick and took the SIM out, put it into another phone, added a contact, and then put the SIM back in. This unfortunately did not work. A few hours later the icons had moved again. I then noticed that the contact that I had added to the SIM was not in my iphone address book, so I imported the contacts from the SIM (Settings>Mail, Contact, Calendars>Import Sim Contact), hoping that this would fix the problem. That didn't work either. I turned the phone off and on again, and that didn't work either.
Then I began to look into the "Claro Contactos" issue, and went looking for the SIM Applications (Settings>Phone). Now, I am almost positive that when I looked here earlier that day the SIM Applications button was not there. Maybe it was, but I'm thinking that by putting the chip into another phone and then putting it back into the iphone, this "unlocked" this feature. Or maybe it was the simple act of taking it out and putting it back in. Either way it was there now. I had never heard (or turned on) Claro Contactos so I went hunting for where to turn it off. After finding it "Utilidades Claro" it popped up a message asking if I wanted to turn it on. Obviously I had not used the feature before so I couldn't turn it off like the previous post had suggested. So I did the opposite and turned it on. I then touched the button "Respaldo Contactos" to back up that one contact to this service and then touched the button "Respaldo Automatico" and told it NOT to back up automatically. After doing all of this, I turned the phone off and on again, and now everything has been fine. It's been a full day and my icons are right where they should be.
I mention the process because I'm not totally convinced that just by turning the Claro Contactos on was the issue. I think the whole process is the solution. Maybe someone else that has the same issue can try the process, but backwards and see if just switching the Claro Contactos on (or off) solves the problem.

Some client systems not pulling down updates

Hi,
I recently pushed out the all the March Patch Tuesday updates and I've got around 11 systems that are reporting as compliant when I review the status of the deployment, but are systems that haven't actually pulled down or installed the updates from the deployment.
Strangely the systems show up as Active in the SCCM 2012 console and have current (within the last 4 hours or so) active times. So it seems the SCCM client components are working correctly.
The thing all these systems appear to have in common is that in the WindowsUpdate.log I see the following lines:

Reviewing the WindowsUpdate.log I can see the CCMExec process talking to my SCCM 2012 server but then I get the error above and no updates appear to get pulled down.
I've tried rebooting the systems to see if that resolves the issue but it doesn't. Also what is strange is that these systems have all been working fine in the past. So something appears to have gotten messed up but I'm not sure what?
Any ideas?

Just to update - I followed the steps to resolve the problem that were mentioned in the following thread

Namely I did:
Clean up WSUS - I had over 18000 expired/unneeded updates in my WSUS server. I used the SQL script from the following post:

It took over two days to delete all the updates in batches of 2000
I also plan to add a weekly scheduled job with the WSUS Server Cleanup process PowerShell script they provide to keep my WSUS server clean

I also plan to add a scheduled job to run this weekly
After I made these changes my Windows 7 x86 clients that hadn't pulled down the latest March updates pulled them down.

Why does the address/status bar not work?

After updating to 9.0.1, my status bar will not work, or my address bar. If I try to type in anything and press enter into the address bar, nothing happens. Also, I cannot press forward or back as they always remain grayed out. The only way I can get to a website is by pressing home, which is thankfully google. I have to google the url to go to it.
Remembering now actually, I copied all the folders from the main firefox folder and pasted them into a new install of firefox (I had this problem actually before firefox updated). I was hoping that copying these folders would save my addons and etc. after I downloaded a new firefox and re-installed it. I put the folders back and firefox is still messed up :/

Download Status Bar Not Working

Hi. When I am downloading iStore songs, the status bar stays blank, and does not display the active marker bar showing the file progress. It has never worked. Is this famiiar to anyone? The downloads seem to be fine in every other respect. Thanks!

It seems ever since i downloaded the latest version
of iTunes, my status bar has stopped working. I
can't seem to be able to control the volume from
iTunes either. I have to control it from my
keyboard. When playing songs, the status bar does
nothing and even the name of the song does not get
updated on the status bar. Also the equalizer visual
thingy (dynamic range monitor or whatever it's
called) does not do a thing. And finally,
downloading songs has become painfully slow. What I
used to download in 20 to 30 seconds now takes 3
minutes!
Anyone know what's going on? Anyone else having

Double iPhone status bar pushes app down 20 pixels (40 in Retina)

Hi All,
On a non-retina iPhone the status bar is normally 20 pixels high, but when I enable my phone as a wireless hotspot its height doubles to 40 pixels so that it can display text saying "personal hotspot".
When it does this my AIR app gets pushed down and the bottom 20 rows of pixels are cut off, i.e. aren't displayed.
This, simply stated, looks terrible.
Is this a known bug?
Is there some way I can avoid this?

Xmonad Status Bar Not Appearing

Hey guys I've been reading through posts and trying to get dzen2 to appear. But it simply doesn't show up.
So I tried using a default status bar

Ok I've finally got a dzen bar to appear.
In my xinitrc where i normally start xmonad
I now have the line
exec xmonad | dzen2
But nothing appears in the bar I've tried several examples and it doesn't seem to work.
Is there something I'm missing?
