Z30 Business Expense Tracker App

I am searching for an app for the new Z30 that will let me download pictures of receipts and essentially combine them into one PDF adn track those expenses. There are dozens out there to choose from, but only 5 that I have found that say they are BB friendly. However, when I go to the site to download, it says "Unvailable for this device" at the top of my phone. Are these apps just not Z30 ready or is there something else going on?
Open to hearing of apps that you have seen, I can't seem to find any in BB World. One's I have researched... ProOnGo, Shoebox... Expensify appears as if it may work, TBD. Any thoughts are welcome!

I've not found a spreadsheet that tackles this subject with sufficient detail or clarity, nor am I skilled enough to create one that does.
Medical bills and insurance EOBs are so numerous and confusing--how can it be that no one has created something in response to the need to track this stuff? And the co-pays, Lord!, the co-pays! Someone please tell me that a product exists to help with detailed medical expense tracking!

Receipt/expense tracker app for Q10

could someone please tell me what app I can download to my Q10 that takes photos of the receipt and automatically converts to expense report. Everytime I seem to find one that suits like 'receipts pro', I get the message "an error occured processing your request". I have google and read forums without sucess. I hope you can help.

Otherwise you can use Find My Phone, but requires logging in for each separate user. Find My Friends(built by Apple) will show everyone's location on one device.

IPhone 4 Mileage Tracker App

Does anyone know of a good mileage tracker app for the iPhone? I had an app for my Blacberry that would track my mileage with the GPS. You could set it to start tracking when a bluetooth device connected and stop when it disconnected. That worked great for keeping business records for the IRS. It gave start and stop address's and could be set to work weekdays from 8 -5. I cannot find anything close for my iPhone.

I have looked at that one, but does not use the gps for tracking, just snapshot at start and snapshot at finish, and enters a straight line distance. Not very good for getting reimbursed for mileage, and no way to automate the start and stop. Requires human touch and I can barely remember to put on my bluetooth set which I leave dangling from the visor in front of me. Thanks for the reply.

The best thing to do might be to restore the phone as a new device in iTunes. If the phone were jailbroken, and any tracking apps installed, this will remove all traces of them. However, as I've already pointed out, MobileMe provides this ability, as do a number of carriers. Restoring as new will not defeat these methods of tracking the phone, if they are being used.

SAP Business One iPad Apps Sales Catalog photo problem

I have a question about the iPad SAP Business One Mobile Apps Sales Catalog.
Inside the Sales Catalog, it will show the Item group with pictures and when you look inside the item group, it will show the Item image which is set up in the Item Master.
Can anyone help on this? Thanks very much.

According to the B1if sap.GetItemPicture Scenario, the path to the picture is looked up by the following query.
SELECT BitmapPath AS 'bitmappath' FROM OADP
The PictureName is passed into the GetItemPicture web service as a parameter.
This leads me to my next question:
What do you have the Pictures Folder (BitmapPath) set to in General Settings?
I am guessing you have it set to C:\Program Files\SAP\..........
The problem with this is that it save the picture to your local client computer and B1if is running on the server. You will want to change the path to a network path that looks something like this:
\\server\b1_shr\Pictures
Why?
If the Pictures Folder is set to C:\Program Files\SAP\.....
1. When a user attaches an image, SAP Business One client places the picture in C:\Program Files\SAP\..... path on the client workstation, not on the server.
2. B1if is usually run on the server and does not have access to a client workstation
If Pictures folder is C:\Program Files\SAP\......., B1if looks up the Pictures Folder set in the database and appends the file. In this case, B1if is reading C:\Program Files\SAP\.....\<imagefile>.jpg on the server in which B1if is running.
3. The only time using a C:\Program Files\SAP\...... would work is when the client, server and B1if is running on the same machine and the permission to the C:\Program Files\SAP\..... folder is set up to allow B1if to read from the directory and the client to write to the directory.
Using UNC notation
if the Pictures Folder is set to a UNC path \\Server\b1_shr\Pictures
1. When the user attaches an image, SAP Business One client places the picture on the server
2. B1if will read the picture from the server from the shared folder on the server
Conclusion
You need to use UNC notation to identify the path of the Picture Folder so that all pictures are placed in the same location.

DURIM - Okay. I would expect the "Cache Warning" message because your default directories would not be the same as the ones in the settings file I generated.
If you go back to the "7.0" directory and open the "Logs" folder, can you copy the "Audition Log.txt" file and send it as an attachment to [email protected]? We'll take a look in that logfile and see if it gives us more information about why this is failing now.
Also, do you have any other Adobe applications installed on this machine, such as Premiere Pro? If so, do they launch as expected or fail as well?
I do have the trial Pro version of Adobe reader, but I have not activated it, because I fear the same thing will happen did it. I cannot afford to activate the subscription for that product and take the chance of it not working either. I depend on those two programs religiously. Here is the files that you requested. If you didn't set up Find My iPhone in the iCloud settings, then you can't. Notify the police and change the password to your Apple ID and any other online services you used from that iPhone, just as a precaution.

Employee wise Budget and Expense Tracking in FM-BCS

Hi Experts,
We have Activated FM-BCS to one of our client for budget tracking. Our client needs Employee wise expenses tracking for better and effective control. There is a requirement of capturing the budget Amount and Actual Amount on the basis of Expenses wise, Department Wise and Employee wise. For Example: Client wants to maintain the budget Employee wise Department wise and Expenses. Like
Employee No (PERNR): 1234
Department (Cost Center): Marketing
Expenses (GL Code): Telephone Expenses
Grouping of Expenses: Operating Expenses
Tracking Method: How much one Employee 1234 has budget for Telephone expenses and how much he has spend over a particular period.
So we have mapped as follows in FM-BCS to address the above issue:
Cost Center = Fund Center
GL Code = Commitment Items
Group of Expenses = Fund
Through FMBB, we have given the budget values as follows:
Fund+Fund Centers+Commitment Items. And actuals also we could capture.
But we are not able to map the Employee numbers in FM. How to accommodate / map the employee nos to FM Account Assignments. Can we map employee numbers to Funded Programs (700 employees in number and Overhead GL codes are around 50)

Hi,
To start with, choosing 'fund' for representing group of expenses, does not make much sense. Your expenses are already mapped by commitment items, being representative object for G/L. If you want to group those, you can use simple hierarchy of commitment items. 'Fund', when used properly, belongs more to budget domain, rather than to the expenses. For example, it could represent the source of the budget.
Secondly, having budget control on employee level sounds bit strange. Is your client going to budget 700 employees with different combinations of G/Ls? For what reason? And what happens if employee exceeds the budget? They won't pay him? All this does not make much sense. I understand, if you want to collect statistical data on the expenses made by employees. You can do it either via CO (internal order) or via self-developed reports based on PERNR.

Can't Export ALL Comments from Issues Tracking app in Sharepoint 2013

I really like the flexability of the SharePoint 2013 Issues Tracking application. I am able to enter the initial issue, then update it regularly with "comments". Each comment is added as a seperate entry to the issue, date stamped, etc.
The issue I am having is in exporting this to Excel. I know, I know, the purpose of SharePoint is that you DON'T turn everything into an Excel spreadsheet. However, I have to send the issues to an external contact that does not have access to the SharePoint
environment. When I export to Excel, it only adds the LAST comment to the Comments column in the spreadsheet. I need all comments combined, and dropped into the correct cell.
Is there a way to do this? I found another thread where it seemed everyone accepted the fact that this was not possible, but I thought I'd try one more time and see if there were any new ideas.
I believe this is tied to the option of "Append Changes to Existing Text" that is available in the Edit Column settings for the Issues Tracking app. I see that you can turn this off, but then you lose the ability to date-stamp each entry. If there
is no good solution, then I think the only alternative would be to turn this off, then just manually add a date to each time.
Word of caution!! If you have a bunch of comments already appended, and THEN you decide to change the option from Append Yes to Append No, it will hide all previous comments. I did this and thought I'd lost them, but when I changed the option back
to Append Changes, they were all still there. I may need to manually cut-paste every single comment out, change to Append No, and then manually past the entire comment thread back in. Will be very tedious for a large issues log.

Update - The only solution I was able to change to "Append Changes to Existing Text", then do as I dreaded, which was to manually cut and past every comment out then back into the single field. Definitely a good lessons-learned to set the
value to "Append Changes to Existing Text" before starting.

Business Event ORACLE.APPS.PER.API.ASSIGNMENT.UPDATE_EMP_ASG_CRITERIA

According to Document id 1402385.1 , I have subscribed the business event ORACLE.APPS.PER.API.ASSIGNMENT.UPDATE_EMP_ASG_CRITERIA with a synchronous subscription with a phase 99. It is calling an extension which in turn calling hr_assignment_api.update_emp_asg api to update assignment details. Now it is working fine in Oracle forms.
But when the same operation is being done in SSHR Pages for Manager Self Service responsibility the process could not be completed due to the following error.
" The HR object is invalid Cause: The HR object which is attempted to be locked is inconsistent with the corresponding object in the HR Schema. Action: Retry the action with the correct object version number. " As the SSHR page do validation in P_VALIDATE= TRUE mode so this error is occurring.
Now i tried to analyse the XML file generated by the business event. But I am not able to find whether it is being called as P_VALIDATE = TRUE or FALSE I want to know how to check whether the business event is called in TRUE mode or FALSE mode.

The problem is that I am trying to call a custom function through this business event which in turn is calling HR_ASSIGNMENT_API.UPDATE_EMP_ASG.
Now when I am changing job or position in SSHR page it is validating the data I entered. So while validating they call that business event too. Now entering into that custom function it cannot decide whether the API should be called in P_VALIDATE=FALSE mode or P_VALIDATE=TRUE mode.
So I am trying to know whether is there any way to know P_VALIDATE mode when the business event is fired.

Issue Tracker App Demo

As I'm a newby to htmldb, I'm building the Issue Tracker app demo. Did anyone who has already built the demo have trouble with create/edit Person information on page 4? When I submit, I get the following error:

Looks like a syntax error in a condition: a missing quote: :p5_assigned_project = '%||'null%')
should be
:p5_assigned_project = '%'||'null%')You'll have to poke around to find where that condition exists (on a region, an item, etc.). Or you could search for it in the export file.

Extra Space before Business Catalyst Web Apps

I just got the update and now my Business Catalyst web apps have an extra space before they show up on the page. You can see an example on my website here. The pink box is the web app. I've tried to do everything I can think of but it's not working, it will either have 2 spaces or more.
