ZIC_AGENT webui role which is copied from standard webUI role not opening home page

Hi Experts,
We are facing production issue which is pertaining to ZIC_AGENT web ui role.
We have copied from standard to ZIC_AGENT web ui role, all call centers are working on this role. However suddenly not working due to power issue in one of our call center where CTI server is placed.
We do not want stop activities the rest of the call centers due to this issue and we are expecting to work like standard role.
How to delink between main call center with other call centers, kindly advise us.

I had copied these .class & .xml files under Myclasses -> oracle.apps.icx and oracle.apps.po and oracle.apps.fnd was same which comes part of the standard OA tutorial.
I copied same under Myprojects as well.
you have to decompile the class file into java file and then place it in Myproject directory , also copy all dependency files like BC4J components , and then
try to run from Jdeveloper .
Alternatively you can get the entire ICX folder and zip it and add it via library .

I have a problem in activating a class which is copied from the standard class.
std class: CL_GUI_FRONTEND_SERVICES
The class has got some protected methods and attributes.
here i'm getting following error whenever i try to activate the class:
1) access to protected method "CALL METHOD" is not allowed.
2) access to protected attribute "H_CONTROL" is not allowed.

i am not sure abt d way u hv coded, but there are some basic stuffs wic need to be taken care of:
1: access 2 protected methods are allowed by self class or its inherited classes. it ca't e accessed from outside class. also protected methods can b accessed from FRIEND class. please use inherited class objects to access protected attribute or methods...
2: also i have found that class implementation or declaration or method declaration can't be done inside PERFORM routines... try to avoid using forms.....
more info can be given if i get the exact code..

Findout the program that is copied from Standard one

Dear friends,
I have a list of 300 Z programs. in that list few are copied from standard transactions. is there any way to find out those programs easily ?
If any body knows, plz help me.

Yes this can be achieved.
First identify all the Z-objects and pass them to an Internal table.
Looping all the Z-Reports.
Use the Read Report(command) to read the entire source code.
Scan the ABAP source code through
SCAN ABAP-SOURCE itab1 ...TOKENS INTO itab2
Each report which is copied or cloned has SAP standard report name in the Heading section.
Eg: IF RSM04000_ALV is copied into ZRSM04000_ALV then
verify the Repid in the Header section whether it is starting with Z or No. If No then the program is a copy.

The first thing I would try is to update Acrobat 9 to the latest version 9.5.5
The next thing would be to run Acrobat 9 in Windows 7 or Vista or XP Compatibility Mode.

Thanks for the tip. I took the following steps:
1) Backed up the existing profile (presumably corrupted somewhere);
2) Deleted the existing profile;
3) Moved the existing Firefox to the Trash and downloaded a fresh copy;
4) Started Firefox (thus allowing it to create its default profile)
5) Copied the following files from the backup copy of the previous profile: places.sqlite, key3.db, signons.sqlite, permissions.sqlite, persdict.dat, cert8.db ---
I'm posting this from a Firefox browser, so I guess I'm OK now.

Safari 8.0.2 was last updated on the 20Jan2015 and is my default browser.
Below listed are issues with Safari after last two updates.
When I click web link from mail, Safari does not open that link. I changed to Chrome browsing & it works.
When I click to open new window from the dock, I get last browsing page of the previous opened window web page, where by my setting is for a bank page for a new safari window. .
Every time I click on the link to open in the same browsing web page, a new tab opens with advertisement web page. How can I stop advertisement pages to open automatically.
Safari does not open first time by one finger single click on the safari icon from dock, need two finger click and then select the preferences.

You need to keep the keys pressed for several seconds. Close down Elements. Hold down the CtrlShiftAlt keys and simultaneously click on the Edit button on the welcome screen. Release the three keys and look behind the welcome screen by closing it. Or hold down the keys whilst clicking on the desktop icon for the Editor or PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe in the Programs folder. Keep holding down all three keys until you get the settings option. You should see a pop up box with the words: Delete Adobe Photoshop Elements Settings File?Click on YesThen wait whilst Elements rebuilds the preferences. The Safari message is probably telling the truth. Is the problem repeatable at several websites, or is it only with a particular one? If all websites, you may have trouble with your internet connection downloading large amounts of data. Mail messages are relatively small unless there are attachments or embedded images.

Some pdf files from the web will not open, some will. I am using Adobe Reader 10.0.1 on an 8-year old puter I have just upgraded to 2G of RAM. It worked fine before with 256K. When a file won't open I get error message "There is a problem with Adobe Acrobat/Reader. If it is running, please exit and try again (103:103). Have uninstalled and reinstalled all Adobe products several times. Ideas?

Good luck with that. Adobe10.0.1 is a bug infested BAD program. Look at the posts relating to this issue for the last 3 days. Many, many problems. Support is no help.

I was looking into the issue you are desribing, and found a great article for troubleshooting wifi connections with iOS devices. It's called iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections and can be found here: http://support.apple.com/kb/ts1398.
Start with this section, and work your way down if needed.
Basic troubleshooting
Tap Settings > Wi-Fi and turn Wi-Fi off and then on again.
Verify that you are in range of your Wi-Fi router or base station.
Confirm that your Wi-Fi router and Cable/DSL modem are connected to power and turned on.
Check whether other devices (portable computers, for example) are able to connect to the Wi-Fi network and access the Internet.
Update your Wi-Fi router to the latest firmware.For AirPort Base Stations, refer to this article for information about firmware updates. For third-party Wi-Fi routers, check the manufacturer's website for details on updating your firmware.
Restart your iOS deviceHold the On/Off button until "slide to power off" appears. Slide to power off your device. When it is off, press the On/Off button to turn it back on.

How to create a new view by copying from standard view in IC webclient?

I need to enhance a sap standard component (BP_Factsheet), inside it I need to create a new view by copying from an existing standard view (Acitivities). However when I try to make a copy, I was asked for destination BSP application, I entered the Z-Application which I used when defining enhancement for the component. After the copy, I don't see the new view.
Then I tried the destination BP_factsheet, instead of the z-application, then after the copy, I can see the new view. However since it's in SAP application, it seems like it's a MOD, not enhancemnet, and inside the new view, the classes (for context, context nodes, etc.) are not in custom namespace (not starting with Z).
So please let me know how can I make a copy of sap standar view in custom namespace.

When copying you can put any BSP name..normally the practice is to prefix the standard name with a Z.
Secondly when you want to make changes to the individual classes and methods you need to right click and say enhance. Then the AZ class names etc would be generated. The view should appear in the component wherein you copied the original view from.

How to call custom BSP application (copied from standard)

I came across 1 interesting link in SDN.

My requirement is also similar.
I need to copy the HRRCF_TRM_SRCH application.
I know how to make the changes for the logic (like copying the standard controller & iterator class etc.)
But I donu2019t know how to call the custom BSP application.
One requirement is, I need to call a BSP application, in which there are only UI(user interface/screen) changes .
That is, if there are only changes made to hitlist_cand.bsp page . And no changes made to hitlist_cand.do page.
Eg: Removing one button from screen.
Second requirement is, I need to call a BSP application in which there are logic changes also.
(I know how to change the standard controller class to custom class)
Eg: Changing logic of button.
We tried renaming the application name from standard to custom one (with Namespace=SAP itself, though it gave a warning) in the table T77RCF_LOG_APPL .
Then we used this name to configure the start page link. But still the execution control is going to standard page & not to custom BSP application.
How will I know which BSP application(Appl A), is calling the BSP application (Appl B) in which I want to make changes ?
The starting application is HRRCF_START_INT.
Would really appreciate solutions posted.

Hi Nisha,
I think you have an issue to call custom BSP.
- Ignore the warning message (in the table T77RCF_LOG_APPL) as it is just a warning message. I did not touch start page link at all.
- Additionally you need to make (I had to made) an entry in table u2018V77RCF_SMG_NAVIu2019.

All objects are inactive in derived roles (copied from existing derived role)

I need to create more than 1000 derived roles, from existing reference roles.
Reference roles are also derived roles. So I executed LSMW for mass copy.
Eg: Reference role XYZ with parent role XXX
New role(ABC) copied from XYZ ,so ABC is having same values as XYZ and master role also.
Now the issue is after executing the LSMW all roles are copied to new roles, but all objects are inactive in new roles .I am not able to activate the object also.

Issue: I have derived roles for plant XX, now I want to derive same set of roles for YY plant. My reference plant is XX, So what am doing is copying the XX roles to New roles (YY) .No change in object or description, just copy role to new role. And I am using LSMW for the same.
After copy the roles, I will change the description and profile using another script and manually change the org values. But after copy the roles to new roles using script all objects are inactive (In red color),if am selecting the org tab ,I will get message like ,no org levels maintained. Because all objects are inactive .And there are no options (edit) to activate the objects or maintain the fields.

com.sap.xxxx sounds like the id of the role . Is that what you want to change ? In your case you can copy and paste the role at a particular location and then right click on the copied role to change its id . Do let me know if you still have any clarification .

Copy from PDF paste to Notes iOS 4 iPhone 3GS

The bluetooth keyboard works so good on the iphone I thought I wouuld line u a bunch of work for the flight to Halifax from Vancouver. But alsa I cannot copy from a pdf "Snow leopard server manual" to my Notes program.
How do you copy from a pdf and paste into Notes using iOS 4?

You can't. Copy/paste does not support PDFs or other image formats in IOS4.
