I have restored my ipad twice and it has still not cleared any space at all what can I do help please

Is your iPad showing anything at all in the way of storage capacity in Settings>General>Usage>Storage? Look in there and see what is going on. You can also connect the iPad to your computer and launch iTunes, select the iPad under devices and then click on the Summary Tab on the right and look at the capacity bar at the bottom of iTunes to see where all of the "storage" is being used.
You restored the iPad - meaning that you completely erased it?

I have this problem with my iphone 4. It keeps showing 0 bytes available and i cant download any apps at all. It's really frustrating.
I tried restarting the iphone but to no avail.
Can someone advise me on how to solve this problem?

my project is displaying the following error, when you generate a TXT record with 3 million.
I have a project that when executato DS goes to a Z table in SAP selects every record in this table (+ 3 million), and on DS it generates a TXT file separated by semicolons (;). But the DS is not getting serar this file with more than 3 million record, the DS displays the following error:

Storage issues in iPhone 4.Even after clearing up space, the settings still shows '0 bytes available' and the phone has been going through a lot of performance issues.

I have cleared almost 1 gb space since the issue had arisen but still the settings show that there are 0 bytes available and all the existing apps do not function properly.As a result even iTunes sync is not happening. Not able to add even phone contacts! Apps when trying to open, get closed even without proper loading. Apps like Facebook and Gmail require login even though my account hasthe phone has them already and although the new messages are being received in whatsapp I'm not able to view them in the chat window. Please help asap!!

It sounds like you are unable to use your phone because settings keeps indicating that you have 0 space available on it. If settings is misreporting the space, I would start by quitting all the running apps on the device:
iOS: Force an app to close
Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
When you have done that restart the device and test the issue again:
iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting
If that does not resolve the issue I would use the steps in the following article for further assist you:

Get bytes available at serial port

I'm using the CNiVisaSession wrapper class for serial communication. Is there a way to get the number of bytes available at the serial port using this class like there is with the ActiveX object CWSerial.GetBytesAtPort() method?

Yea, you just call GetAttribute on the object with an attribute of VisaSerialBytesAvailable, its a uInt32.

You need to do a Restore. It's easy to do but it's reasonably time-consuming. Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."

A restart or reset might help. Either turn it off and restart it as stated above. Or give it a reset. Hold down the sleep and home keys for about 20 seconds, When you see the silver apple, let go and let it reboot.
Then go into settings,general, usage and see what's taking up the room.

You would lose text message.. But you could always revert back with the backup you made.

It's likely because your switch with less free flash has GUI management stuff in the IOS related directory along with a copy of the IOS for 55(SE3).
Remove the directory and see if you reclaim a bunch of space. (NB: insure, though, you're running the IOS image in the root before removing the directory.)

TCP/IP Read - How do I find the number of bytes available

It appears that this is not directly possible. I am trying to get around
this by doing a tcp/ip buffered read with a very short timeout (0 or 1ms).
In theory it seems like I should be able to keep making the read call until
the exact number of bytes (4 in this case) pops out. It mostly works but
every so often hangs for some period of time and then resumes getting the 4
byte packets. Anybody have any idea what is going on?

The first thing I'm thinking of is that your delay is too short. Also, try to increase the packet length or use Immediate Mode (even CRLF MODE if you're transmitting text).
Another idea (if your application really needs that and you have LV / Windows) is to use MS Winsock Control (wait for DataArrival event and read BytesReceived).
Anyway, tune in your communication (packets and delays) taking in account details about your network or modem.

Can Stored datga be transfered to the ICloud?

You have to delete files on your device.
Delete apps you don't use.
Delete videos you don't want (these take up a lot of space).
Do you have a lot of emails stored on the device?
Are there apps that store data files, like a PDF reader? If there are a lot of these, you need to delete some.
The bottom line is that you need to remove data and/or apps on your device to make more storage available.

The vi is identifyng the number of bytes to be read but the VISA Read vi is not able to read the data from the port.

We are trying to communicate with the AT106 balance of Mettler Toledo.The VI is attached.
We are sending in "SI" which is a standard command that is recoginsed by the balance. The balance reads it.The indicator after the property node indicates that there are 8 bytes available on the serial port. However, the VISA read VI fails to read the bytes at the serial port and gives the following error:
Error -1073807253 occurred at VISA Read in visa test.vi
Possible reason(s):
VISA: (Hex 0xBFFF006B) A framing error occurred during transfer.
The Vi is atttached.

You should also definitely check the baud rates specified; a framing error often occurs when different baud rates are specified, as the UARTs will be attempting to transmit and receive at different rates, causing the receiving end to either miss bits in a given frame, or sample bits more than once (depending on whether the receiving rate is lower or higher respectively). You should be able to check the baud rate used by your balance in the user manual, and match it in your VI with the baud rate parameter of the VISA Configure Serial Port VI.

My ipad is back to normal. I just kept pressing buttons on ipad and held down the reset button acting like I was trying to shut it down, but held button for at least 30 to 45 seconds and finally the apple appeared and the ipad rebooted. I rebooted it once more after I saw that everything looked normal. It came back fine. Hope you have luck with your phone.
