Why?
I did reset *#7370#, but I still have "0 bytes free of 613 MB"
Does anybody have any idea?

  • 0 bytes free space. ios 8.1.3. HELP

    PLEASE HELP NOW.
My iphone6  says it has 0 bytes available
problems arised since ios 8.1.3 update.
I never had any problems 'till this update.
I have deleted almost everything (how cool eh? thanks apple now ill have to see what is restorable and how, and how long will it take me..)
NO MATTER WHAT I DO the phone is becoming UNUSABLE, sometimes I cant even open mail, or take a pic to whatsapp or anything.
Ive tried all kinds of phone restarting, rebooting, logging out of itunes and app store and logging in after half an hour, deactivating location services,  etc. I have searched in forums, in the web.... There some other users out there also suffering this BAD BAD issue: http://www.iphonehacks.com/2015/01/ios-8-1-3-fix-problems.html
AND this bug or whatever it is ALSO affecting iCLOUD storage, I always have around 4GB of free space becuse I DON'T USE streaming photos, or mail etc, I only save a few little pages docs etc.
I am an experienced user. BUT something strange AND BAD is going on, I have deleted most apps also, nothing has changed.
I want my phone -for which I paid an important amount of money- back to work, I NEED it to develop my work.

    Sandy,
My ipad is back to normal.  I just kept pressing buttons on ipad and held down the reset button acting like I was trying to shut it down, but held button for at least 30 to 45 seconds and finally the apple appeared and the ipad rebooted. I rebooted it once more after I saw that everything looked normal. It came back fine. Hope you have luck with your phone.

  • File Free/File Total is off the Reservation (22M/83M Bytes Free)

When I look in Options/Status and click the menu button to check database sizes I see that "Content Store" is almost 3800 Bytes.  How can I see which programs specifically are eating up my memory ?

You're in great shape!!!! I only have Google Maps, Jtetris, and Opera Mini installed and i'm at 23MB for my file free  )
Usually if you're free number is between 5-10MB you should be worried.

  • Time Capsule full after a "Erase Free Space" using Disk Utility

    Hello,
I am facing some issues related to my Time Capsule.
Reviewing my past, I had a lot of backups on this, using Time Machine and it always worked pretty well. But after deleting some backups manually to reclaim disk space, this was not exactly freeing it.
Searching in the forum here, I saw that I could mount the backup sparsebundle image and map it into the Disk Utility. This always worked greatly too both for disk checking and reclaiming the space back.
The problem starts on the last Friday when I performed the operation again, but it started using the whole free space that I had and did not give it back.
Studying the case I found that it creates a temporary folder to store the file it creates to write the byte 0 on the disk. This file actually resides in the sparsebundle image and therefore I can see the file with 200GB, for example, in the Finder, this is a split in bands (8MB) just like the backup is. After the disk gets full, the Disk Utility should delete the file properly and give me back the space safely.
Right now my Time Capsule has 0 byte free and I can't do anything on it beyond redo the the Erase Free Space operation. When I do it, it starts writing the temporary file again and the problem repeats itself.
I know that if I backup the data and really erase the disk, I'll get it back, but this is not an option for me because I want a smart solution for this.
The only thing that changed between when it worked and now is the 10.5.6 update that I made and I'd like that it's not the root of the issue.
Is there any suggestion or general stuff I could do to fix it?
Did anybody already face the same issue?
If anyone needs more details to help me out of this, just let me know.
    Thanks and regards,
    Eduardo

Just another thing to add, I'd like a good solution for this as the redo operation from Disk Utility takes around 2 days and then it just "dies".

"Using pdfmark commands to define Acrobat features in FrameMaker: an introduction"
    December 15, starting 10am PST
    [ Register at: https://www3.gotomeeting.com/register/728332454 ]
Are you interested in PDF settings beyond what can be specified in FrameMaker -- such as custom bookmarks (e.g. pointing to web sites, e-mail feedback, search), initial view settings, custom named destinations ?
pdfmark, an extension to the PostScript page description language, enables you to specify PDF features in your source FrameMaker files.
When processed by Distiller, the PDF features you specify will be created automatically (no need to redefine the features in Acrobat everytime you update your content and have to recreate the PDF).
The session starts with some use cases and an overview of pdfmark commands (with pointers to additional information), and proceeds to discuss/demonstrate pdfmark insertion mechanisms (including PostScript text frames in FrameMaker files, hypertext markers and "shortcuts" with FrameMaker-to-Acrobat TimeSavers, prologue/epilogue files).

Yeah...I think I found that one out the hard way already. I'll cross that bridge when I get to it. I want to get this issue fixed before I start thinking about the license issue.

It's likely because your switch with less free flash has GUI management stuff in the IOS related directory along with a copy of the IOS for 55(SE3).
Remove the directory and see if you reclaim a bunch of space.  (NB: insure, though, you're running the IOS image in the root before removing the directory.)

  • A buffer failed while allocating bytes.

What is the Exact fix for the following error message in SSIS
Error: A buffer failed while allocating 3640 bytes.
Error: The system reports 89 percent memory load. There are 8544776192 bytes of physical memory with 886386688 bytes free. There are 4294836224 bytes of virtual memory with 113836032 bytes free. The paging file has 24271511552 bytes with 14344065024 bytes free.
    Thanks in Advance

Adding more memory probably won't help with your problem. It had free memory available at the time this error happened, not to mention the paging file.
This error happens when your data flow needs to create too many logical copies of data, combined with too many blocking/semi-blocking operations. Even a relatively large number of merge joins could cause this.
I haven't figured out a way to solve this yet, but this isn't related to lack of server memory, at least not directly. I once managed to reproduce this error on a server which had more than 60% free memory.
You should post your data flow design so we can take a look. Someone may have more information on this, but this isn't a simple issue.
Just because there are clouds in the sky it doesn't mean it isn't blue. But someone will come and argue that in addition to clouds, birds, airplanes, pollution, sunsets, daltonism and nuclear bombs, all adding different colours to the sky, this
is an undocumented behavior and should not be relied upon.

  • IOS 5: iPod Touch 4g says no Free memory After Sync

My iPod 4g, iOS 5, 8GB says After Sync no Free memory. Before the Sync there was 1gb Free Memory.... Even if i Delete Apps, the iPod says 0 Byte Free memory...

It was in the category "Other". Now i Have done a Hard reset(i think): i have pressed the Lock Button 5sec, then Lock and home Button 10 sec together. Then it Took a few minutes. In this minutes there was the Apple Logo , Like when the iPod Starts up. After that, everything was okay and i had  again 1gb Free memory :)

Really early 3750s only had 16 MB of flash, so you're going to be unable to load a 17 MB image.

Tried searching the forum but didn't find this. Is this a known issue?
    John

Without some care, it seems that that can cause some very unexpected results in batch files if you use wildcards to process files.
This is correct. You can suppress the generation of 8.3 file names with this command
    fsutil behavior set disable8dot3 1
or check what the parameters mean like so:
    fsutil behavior set disable8dot3 /?
The command will affect newly created files only. Existing files will retain their 8.3 names unless you remove them with this command:
    fsutil  8dot3name  strip  FolderName
Your file retained its unexpected 8.3 name most likely from an early name that started with "ind".

I called the customer care regarding this and they asked me to visit the service center. The service center people told me that my recovery disks are not working properly. I am not convinced as they have been used just once before, they seem to be fine and I dont want to order another set of DVDs without being sure that thats the solution.
