0 days on trial after reseting clock?

I was going thru options as sujested by adobe help pages to set my clock to another time to re license my creative suite
Error "Licensing for this product has expired" | CS4, CS5
now I have a 0 days left on a trial for software that belongs to me?
I do have cs6 but its to late now? on top of that I cant get on the chat help either?, besides the license this software option keeps bombing out ? window's says that Adobe is not a recommended web site?
im a little bummed?

Adobe doesn't do this on purpose. Any such issues point to technical or configuration issues on your computer where the trial period cannot be verified. Inputting info is always optional. Anyway, there is no way to bring those 30 days back just by reinstalling or another simple procedure. At best you could call support and ask for a temporary serial number, but otherwise only rebuilding the operating system from scratch with a proper formatting of the drive will erase al lthe wrong info and allow you to install the trial again.

Reading the FAQ, it appears that after the expiry of the free trial, if I do not sign up and pay, I will only be able to view my pictures on the desktop but not edit them - surely this cannot be true.     When I was signed into Adobe (which was a requirement for installing the upgrade), Lightroom 6 told my at the top right corner that I had 30 days left of my free trial of Lightroom Mobile and Creative Cloud. In parallel with this forum posting, I am chatting with Adobe support. he is away to find out how to prevent any synching with Creative Cloud during the 30 day free trial. I do not think that Creative Cloud is an application that gets installed on your PC. I think Lightroom 6 has it built in, and can use it if if you are signed up to the Creative Cloud and Lightroom Mobile (which I am for 30 days)

    Please accept my apology if I have landed on a page that may or may not offer what I do hope, someone might be able to provide a successful solution which will enable me to access a program I downloaded earlier today, Export PDF, offered by Adobe’s website based on a 30-day free trial.
    Prior to landing on this page, I tried numerous other venues through their websites, starting even from the original beginning instructions, only to end up in a forum I assume must exist for the purpose in finding an answer I cannot seem to locate.  
    Had I not spent the amount of time and effort (and desire) in opting to try out this program prior to committing to and purchasing it, I would not bother with seeking a solution.
    Following the online instructions to download the specified free trial period, I signed up with all requested information including -- a unique username, password, email address, followed by the process of verifying the given email address, which ultimately displayed a notification window indicating a completed successful installation.
    Hoping to export a PDF file I had accessed earlier in the day, when I opened the file a screen I had never seen before popped up. Briefly grayed out (basically blank), a warning message appeared stating that sign in was required by the Adobe member then proceeded by reading The User Terms, which must be agreed to and accepted before access to any documents would be allowed.
    Both of these required steps were followed and completed during and after the download and installation process. At the top right hand corner of this page, next to "Welcome, ____________ (my user name)" and the option ( Sign out ), I find it ironic that something I never would have thought to be the difficult and frustrating process it has become, to ultimately be left with one option other than 'Sign out' and that was to click on 'Help' -- which opened the page I am currently on.
    So if anyone is willing to entertain this odd dilemma, I offer my genuine appreciation for your time and solution, should one exist. Otherwise, I’ll just (sarcastically) chalk it up to one of those days spent with technology that leaves me wondering why I bothered in the first place.

    I'm a bit confused about what service/software you've installed.
    There is no trial of the ExportPDF service (and, it's not something that you install; instead, you access if via a website). Perhaps you downloaded the free Adobe Reader, installed that, and then signed up for ExportPDF through Adobe Reader?
    Can you try going to http://exportpdf.acrobat.com and try to sign in there with your username and password? If you're able to log in there, you have a subscription to ExportPDF.

  • After resetting devices in Netflix, Apple TV is not finding my Netflix account

    Apple TV was reporting that it couldn't connetct to Netflix and to try again later. My MacBook and Wii were fine. After several days of this, I reset my Apple TV settings and reset my devices in my Netflix account. All devices are back up, including my iPhone, except my Apple TV. Because I reset devices in Netflix I had to reenter my login and password to Netflix. This worked on other devices. Apple TV said it couldn't find my account. I reset my password in Netflix and tried again. Again, all other devices are still working, but Apple TV cannot find my account. I'm confident that I'm entering the right login and password because I did it successfully on every other device.
    Ideas?

    I'm having the same issue. I live on a farm and the only internet fast enough is from my phone. I've connect the hotspot, but I get that same error when I try and play something. What does work, however, is if I pull up the netflix app on my phone (a different phone from the one I am using as a hotspot), play it from there, and airplay it on the apple TV. It's a big pain and it effectively slows my connection because I'm streaming it through the hotspot onto my phone and then pushing that back through the network onto the Apple TV. Any way to play it directly from Apple TV??

    For what it's worth, you posted this in 2011, and here in 2014 I am still having this same issue. Over the last two days, I have had to unlock my apple account 8 times. I didn't get any new devices. I haven't initiated a password reset. I didn't forget my password. I set up two factor authentication and have been able to do the unlocking with the key and using a code sent to one of my devices. 
    That all works.
    It's this having to unlock my account every time I go to use any of my devices. And I have many: iMac, iPad, iPad2, iPad mini, iPhone 5s, iPod touch (daughter), and my old iPhone 4 being used as an ipod touch now.  They are all synced, and all was working just fine.
    I have initiated an incident with Apple (again) but I know they are just going to suggest I change my Apple ID. It's a simple one, and one that I am sure others think is theirs. I don't want to change it. I shouldn't have to. Apple should be able to tell me who is trying to use it, or at least from where.

    This isn't an annoying pop-up. Rather, it is seriously telling you that it doesn't know that you have licensed the software, and it will continue to be a trial, and will stop when the 30 days are up.
    So you must tell it that you have licensed the software.

    About three days ago, the Mac App store stopped recognizing my password. I tried a number of times, and subsequental was sent back to reset the AppleID via web/email. After resetting the password, I was able to use the (new) password successfully.
    Today the (new) password stopped working for the App Store. After resetting the password, I was able to use the (new-new) password to log into various apple services, but *not* the Mac App store.
    Any ideas?

    UPDATE: I entered my password again and the App store once again didn't recognize it. However, after trying it one more time I was able to log back in.

    I solved my problem myself. I reset my phone again and restored the backups again. Now i can see the images in the gallery.

    Oh!! just stop using it and after 30 days, it will expire.  No need to to take any action.  It is free so anyway so why bother?
    They cannot start charging you because they don't have your credit card details.  They need to have your express permission to take out a full contract of 12 months.

    After running the firmware update, I was happy to see my MB running very coolly this morning (35 C.). After resetting my PRAM per AC's instructions for a display issue, I noticed my machine running in the high 50s/low 60s once again--same as before the firmware update.
    Is this still in the normal range, or is there something else going on here?

    Thanks Eric. Actually, I'm not plugged into a display just yet. Just seemed strange the temps went up 20-30 degree C. Perhaps it was the time of day and duration of operation that accounts for the change.

  • XSERVE RAID Disk Failed to Recover After Reset...

    Greetings,
    I've got an PATA XSERVE RAID with 14x250GB Dries setup as RAID 5.
    Last week event monitor reported that Disk 14 Reported An Error Command 0x35 ERROR 0x10 STATUS 0x51 LBA 0X3978B80.
    Not having a spare Drive available, I ordered one and Reconditioned the Raid Using the RAID Admin Tool. 3 days later it reported all as well. This morning my new ADM arrived and before I could replace Drive 14, it started generating basically the same Error.
    So I swapped in the New Drive, and it began to rebuild, now here's the kicker...
    After a few minutes it started giving me this ERROR:
    DISK 14 FAILED TO RECOVER AFTER RESET. RETRYING
    then...
    DATA WAS LOST DURING A REBUILD.
    It continued to repeat these messages until it Finally reported:
    DISK 14 OFFLINE
    So, I thought it must be a bad Drive, So I figured let me kill 2 birds with 1 stone and swap out a drive I had working fine in an XSERVE. So I ejected the new drive from the XSERVE RAID and Replaced it directly with the Drive from the XSERVE (Also 250GB) And...
    It did the Same exact thing, same errors, etc.
    So what's going on?
    RAID ADMIN reports all Components OK
    Any help is appreciated.

    OK, So replying to my own issues here...
    So I've replaced the Lower Controller and updated the firmware on that Controller.
    The I ejected disk 14, waited a minute or 2, then re-inserted the Disk, then made it available for use.
    It attempted to add to the existing RAID and the errors started all over again (See 1st post)
    So apparently it wasn't the controller.
    So I figured it must be the RAID Set itself, so to be sure, I swapped Drive 8 with Drive 14.
    Deleted the ARRAY and Re-Created it, it's building now and Now Drive 8 is offline, So it would appear to be the drive, but I already replaced it with a known working drive, a new one from Apple, and then one directly from my XServe (See 1st post)
    So I'm just baffled at this point.
