02 carrier logo but no signal bars?

I have changed my network provider to 02 from vodafone and have had apple unblock the phone and have connected to itunes to reset the phone however i am still just getting 02 carrier logo but no signal bars?

    So I had to reset my iPhone because it completely froze while I was browsing the web. When I restarted it, my service bars would show up, but not my carrier name. But now, after resetting my network settings, turning off/on the phone, and taking out and placing in the sim card (even replacing it), it shows my carrier, but my signal bar is COMPLETELY flat.
    I'm running on T-Mobile, so I'm not sure if it has to do with the phone or my carrier.

    Is that T-Mobile USA?

  • I am connected to wifi, but the signal bars in my menu bar say that the airport card is not installed. Any ideas?

    I just updated my mbp with the icloud update and now my wifi signal bars in my menu bar stopped working and say that there is no airport card installed. I am connected to the internet through wifi just fine and the system preferences says that I am connected, just weird that the menu bar signal stopped working. if there is no fix, is ther an alternate wifi signal bar that i can put up there?

    The following Knowledge base article offers up some great troubleshooting steps for the issue you're describing with your iOS device showing an Apple logo:
    iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    Resolution
    If a single application is not responding or stops responding when it opens, you can force it to close.
    If the device is unresponsive or if certain controls aren't working as expected,  restart your device.
    If the device remains unresponsive or does not turn on (or power on),  reset your device.
    If there is no video or if the screen remains black, verify that the device has enough charge to turn on:
    If you are using an iPad, ensure that it's connected to the USB Power Adapter supplied with the device.
    Let it charge for at least twenty minutes, then see if it starts normally.
    If there is no image on the screen, press the Sleep/Wake button to attempt to wake the device.
    If the screen displays a red battery icon, continue charging the device until the battery is fully charged. Learn more about charging iPhone and iPod touch, or iPad.
    If the above steps do not resolve the issue, or the if the screen remains black or shows a persistent Apple logo, try restoring with iTunes:
    Connect the device to your computer and open iTunes.

  • Mobile data network loss but with signal bars

    i keep trying to send text messages or make phone calls but they keep failing and returning a message saying unable to connect to data network, i thought that only applied for internet services? its saying i have atleast 3 or 4 bars of signal when i do this. any ideas?

  • Carrier logo and signal bar dissappeared

    Hi,
    My carrier just got LTE support for iPhone 5 and I received updated carrier settings on my iPhone. As soon as they were installed so that it says "Enable LTE" instead of "Enable 3G", my whole status bar on the left side disappeared.
    No Carrier logo, but much worse, no signal bar or wifi bar. But I do have signal... When I switch on "do not disturb" they appear again but disappear as soon as do not disturb is switched off again. So I can browse and call etc, but the status bar is just missing...
    If anyone has any advice, please help! I tried resetting the phone, as well as switching it off and on again. More than once. No change.
    I even restored my phone from a backup I made yesterday before the network settings have been updated.
    I would be very grateful for any help.

    No I don't think its necessarily because of the 4G rollout.
    My iPhone5 has a Orange/EE 3G sim card and contract.
    This is what my theory is...
    My iPhone5 is set to automatically select the best network. It can see the 4G EE network is available, but when it connects via my 3G sim card it glitches / nullifies the signal and just reports that weird 000-00.
    Ever since I turned off 4G / LTE in settings I have not had the 000-00 error.
    So now it isn't getting confused with 4G and 3G signals, it doesn't give the error.
    So my theory is supported by my experience.
    Out of curiosity, is everyone who is having this problem absoloutely sure they have 4G sims??? I got my iPhone on release day, as a new contract, assumed it was 4G and only found out after a customer service phonecall much later that infact the new contract I had taken out was only a 3G one despite it being a brand new contract with an iPhone5 (yet that was one of the selling points by Orange / EE.)

    I would like some help fixing the problem please.
    If you restored the phone to factory settings (not also restoring a backup) without success, you have a hardware problem that can only be fixed by a hardware repair/replacement.  There are no tricks or software solutions and there are no user serviceable parts in iPhones.  Take the phone to Apple or an Apple authorized service provider.  Independent iPhone repair centers may be cheaper, but use at your own risk.

    Hi, I have a blackberry 9300 (Blackberry 3G) and it's about a year old, i got this phone so me and my dad could talk because my parents split up and i didn't have a good way of speaking to him. A few weeks ago he had this problem when it wouldn't connect to the internet (didn't display logo by the signal bar) i told him to do what i knew (i.e take the battery out and put back in) but it didn't change anything.... He went into EE (t-mobile and orange in the UK) and they didn't have a clue. I then got the same issue last night when i was talking to freinds on BBM, i can now only connect to the internet via WIFI which isn't good.

    I've been experiencing with the same problem lately. Have you tried getting a new sim card?
    With the new sim it seems to work well for a few days and then it goes back to the same problem. The warranty on my phone just ended about a month ago, and I've never dropped it and no water damage either. When I do a erase all and reset, it seems to work for a few days again and comes back to the same issue. I've deleted all my apps and been using the phone just as a phone and txting device. New IOS update doesn't seem to change this issue either. I've been getting by with doing a network reset and turning it off and on a few times a day.
    Anyone have any solution? Much appreciated!

    Hi everyone, got an iphone 5 has ios 8.0.2 with tesco, been using my phone fine for 1 year and as soon i updated my software im having problems with my signal bars, now nothing comes up, but my data works. ive done everything in the book, restoring the firm ware,  etc everything you can think of, now i dont know what to do as ive done everything and now i have no signal but i can use my tariffs data.     Please help! I purchased an iPhone 5 16GB Model A1429 from USA, and it is unlocked ( factory unlocked ). The seller told it was purchased with Verizon and should have GSM and CDMA. The phone is restored via iTunes and when I take in my sim card from Norway, it shows carrier and no signal bars, it also shows 3G, but still can't make call. When I try calling, the cal drops instantly.
    What can be the problem?

    Then it is most likely locked to a carrier somewhere in the world
    Only that carrier can unlock it to work with other carriers .

    - Another cable
    - Another USB port
    - Reboot the computer
    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    - Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - Try on another computer
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
