04 Inspection Lot Cancellation

Dear QM Followers.
I am not able to cancel the 04 LOT generated by production order.There are two scenarios.
Scenario I
=========
Prod Order created and confirmation done.Stock received by MB31.Subsequently IL generated and UD given in QA32 by mistake.
To reverse this I am doing reversal Mvt in MB31 by using 102 mvt and picking the stock from UI stock.Finally I cancel the confirmation in CO13.
Scenario II
=========
Prod Order created and confirmation done.Stock received by MB31 and IL also generated.Now I do not want to do UD.
When I try to reverse by using 102 Mvt in MB31 the system gives error that stock change is not possible in QM.
How to resolve this issue.
Please help on this.

If the UD was already done, then you can't reverse the UD in the std way.
Here are some options:
First you may want to reverse the UD status by using user exit QEVA0008 and then look for oss note : 175842.
If the stock needs to be released from unres to quality try MBST to cancel the document if it is not invoiced.
Try 321,322 mov types by activating 08 ins type in qm view of MM for stock transfer
I hope any one of the option would work for both of your scenarios.

Production confirmation GR into Warehouse , after QM release the UD and stock move into Unrestricted stock.
I found that production Cost are not accurate because wrong activity time enter , so i would like to cancel the production order and reverse all the step include GR and reverse the UU stock into QI.
Can anyone tell me how can i cancel the inspection lot ?

Hi Check this below note & as i said earlier, goto OMJJ t code configure 322 movemnt type with SAP note program 175842 & create Z-Tocode. Now run the Z- Tcode with the Inspection lot u want to reverse, After execution, u can see message document reversed or posted.

Source Inspection lot cancellation

Hi,
I wanted to know, whether existing source inspection lot (with status Qualification Model) can be cancelled (LTCA) by carrying out reversal of the GRN (movement type 102) ?
Background : Material is having both inspection type (01 and 0101) active in materail master. Q-info record exists with profile 0001 (Supplier Relationship).

Source Inspection lot is created after PO is released.So canceling original GRN will not cancel the source Inspection lot...
Can you explain what is exact requirement ??

You need to use transaction QA12. In the intial screen enter the Inspection lot number and enter. From menu bar "Usage Decision" ->Functions->Cancel Lot and then save the lot.

Inspection lot cancel after UD made.

For one MIGO Inspection lot is created and material was accepted. now it is in FI module for payments. But FI people found that it was wrong Vendor. MIGOwas done for a wrong Vendor. So now i want to reverse the Inspection Lot. Please provide me a solution.

You can no longer reverse goods movements that were created from the
transactions of the usage decision.
This function is not currently provided in the standard system.
If you want to reverse the Usage decision & stock posting ? , Apply SAP Note- 175842.

Cancel inspection lot when results already recorded

Hi,
I have an inspection lot created via the release of a process order, since the lot has been created the process order has been canceled and now there is a requirement to cancel the associated inspection lot also. However there are results recorded and confirmed against the inspection lot and the option in QA02 Functions ->Inspection lot -> cancel is no longer available? Any suggestions on how to cancel this inspection lot would be greatly appreciated.

MM - Inspection lot

Hi Gurus,
Did a MIGO. Goods Receipt by Inbound Delivery (180008338) and Return to Vendor 122. This created the Outbound Delivery (80010031). I managed to pick using VL06O (For Picking) then VL06O (For Confirmation) but when we came to the VL02N (Post Goods Issue) we receive following message:
HU items refer to an inspection lot. (HUGENERAL 320)

Prerequisites
The inspection lot processing functions can be linked to various authorizations that are checked by the system whenever you try to process an inspection lot. The following types authorizations are relevant to inspection lot processing:
Material authorizations
The material authorization for QM is stored in the material master. For more information, see Creating and Changing QM-Specific Data for a Material.
Inspection type authorizations

If the task lists in your company must be approved before they can be used, you should make sure that only approved task lists are assigned to an inspection lot. Inspection lot of cancelled process orders

Hi Gurus,
I would like to ask if there is an easier way of knowing if the order of an inspection lot was cancelled. Right now the business is on early lot creation, meaning once the order is created an inspection lot is also created. The problem is when the order is cancelled there is no way of knowing it through QA32 unless you go to the order itself.
Is there an easier way of knowing what orders are cancelled (TECO without confirmation)?

Cancellation of inspection lot

Hi PP & QM gurus,
I want to cancell the stock posting after GR from production. and stock posting is done by QM. I have activated inspection type 04 in M Master. and then after production confirmation system creates an inspection lot and i have done stock posting after UD.But later i came to know that i have created an excess GR, nd wanted to reverse it. But i cant to do the same.
Pls guide me on this issue.

Hi,
U can not reverse the UD .One thing that you can do is that u can post back the material from unrestricted to Quality inspection . For this u have to activate the inspection type 08 .
And use movement type 322 to post the materila back to quality

Inspection lot 04 cancellation

Hello QM gurus !
In the material master data of my produced material, I have entered an inspection type 04.
When I have done my GR on process order, inspection lot 04 has been created (status REL).
Now I want to cancel this inspection lot and I don't want the inspection results to be transfer to the batch MM.
Do you know a way to cancel inspection lot 04 ?

Comments: function cancel lot is grey in QA02

Since you haven't made a UD yet, you can delete out all your resutls.
Then use MBST to cancel the material document associated with the GR from the order.
This should work.

If you just want to cancel the insp lot then
GOTO QA12, enter your insp lot no.
Select usage decision at left top -> Functions-> Cancel lot. But in this case, if insp lot has been processed & stock have moved to unrest. then it will not show in insp stock after this process.
If you want to transfer stock from unrest. to insp. stock then you have to cancel GRN no.
GOTO MB01 enter PO no. & Mov type & select the option unrest. in stock type.
Try it & confirm back.

How to cancel inspection lot with REL status

Hi Guru's,
I am not able to close old process orders becuase of active inspection lots in the system, Error message is "inspection lot doesnot have necessary data" . I could see there are lot many old inspection lots which are in REL status, I am not able to cance these inspection lots in QA02(option is grayed out) How to cancel these inspection lots which are in REL status?

Cancelled inspection lot (LTCA) field

I found the structure is RMQEA and the field STATUSTEXT.But unable to find the table .
