0FIA_DS13 and the cumulative objects

Hello
I hope to use the ODS (0FIA_DS13), but I don't understand how the cumulative objects are loaded... I use the datatsource 0FI_AA_12 or 0FI_AA_11, but Idon't find these objects
for example
   ***. Intrst at Start of Fis. Year
   Accumulated ordinary depreciation
   Cumulative reserves transfer
   Cumulative revaluation of ordinary depreciation
Have you got an idea?
Thanks you

Hi,
Help says :
<i>The object is supplied with data from both ODS object 0FIA_DS11 and InfoSource 0FI_AA_12. This ensures that, when inventory values are posted to the ODS object, they are calculated precisely by period from the transactions and annual values, while the depreciation values are extracted directly from the source system.</i>

  • Problem with Jdeveloper and the Web Object Manager

    I am trying to register a servlet through the web object manager.
    As soon as click the web object manager menu pick I get the following
    error: Could not load servlet information from web server.
    On other peoples machines here it works fine and they can register
    servlets. What am I missing!

    hmmmm, wondering if I understood you correctly:
    first try the file association - right click on one of the movie files (you should tell as well with extension) then 'open with' menu then go to 'choose program' and then choose one of them and coach the box "always use the selected program to open this kind of file" in your example 'window media player'.
    the other point I understood is that in download directly into your browser, well there is a settin for this in the option, don't know where exactly, but you can avoid this by right clicking on the movie/file link and choose 'save target as ...' this forces it to download it on your disk and then you can open it.
    hope this kinda helps
    Cheers

  • .ZIP files and the ZipFile object

    Dove into java.util.zip this weekend and was most unhappy with the docs. Fortunately, searching these forums I was able to make some progress, but am still confused about the ZipFile class.
    I was able to open a FileInputStream, hand it to a ZipInputStream and read a .ZIP file. I was not able to read the .ZIP opening it as a ZipFile (I got the ZipEntries and the header info, but couldn't unzip the data).
    I was able to write a .ZIP with the reverse but was concerned that the ZipFile isn't even documented as supporting file writing. Is the ZipFile a useful thing in some way I haven't discovered, or should I just forget about it?

    this is a simple test for copying a zip file
    java ZipDemo c:\myZip.zip d:\testdir
    import java.util.zip.*;
    import java.io.*;
    import java.util.*;
    class ZipDemo
         public static void main(String [] arg) throws Exception
              ZipFile src = new ZipFile(arg[0]);
              File tgt = new File(arg[1]);
              if(!tgt.isDirectory())
                   System.out.println(tgt+" is not found, or not a directory");
              for(Enumeration e = src.entries(); e.hasMoreElements(); )
                   ZipEntry ze = (ZipEntry) e.nextElement();
                   File target = new File(tgt, ze.getName());
                   try {
                        target.getParentFile().mkdirs();
                   }catch(NullPointerException npe){} // ignore case where file has no parent
                   if(!ze.isDirectory())
                        copy(src.getInputStream(ze), target);
         static byte [] buffer = new byte [16384];
         public static void copy(InputStream in, File target) throws IOException
              FileOutputStream out = new FileOutputStream(target);
              int bytesRead;
              while((bytesRead=in.read(buffer))>0)
                   out.write(buffer,0,bytesRead);
              out.close();

  • Custom components and the navigator object

    Hi all,
    I'm starting on a mobile project which is a ViewNavigator based application. I've created a custom component which contains a button. I'd like the button to be able to use the pushView method however as it's a custom component, it doesn't appear to recognise the navigator object. If anyone has any advice/tips on how I might go about this, it'd be greatly appreciated!

    The button sits in a custom component - actually in a datarenderer. Code looks like:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
    <s:DataRenderer xmlns:fx="http://ns.adobe.com/mxml/2009"
                                            xmlns:s="library://ns.adobe.com/flex/spark">
      <fx:Script>
                        <![CDATA[
                                  import mx.utils.ObjectUtil;
                                  protected function button1_clickHandler(event:MouseEvent):void
                        ]]>
      </fx:Script>
      <fx:Declarations>
      </fx:Declarations>
              <s:Button label="{data.firstName}" click="button1_clickHandler(event)" width="150" height="150" />
    </s:DataRenderer>
    which is being called from a View. There's no error, I'm simply unable to/unsure how to access the navigator object so I can push a new view onto the stack from within that component.
    Cheers!

  • [b]MiniSap and the ABAP OBJECTS book [/b]

    Hello,
    I have purchased the book "ABAP Objects" by Keller and Kruger.  I attempted to install Minisap and ran into a lot of problems. I suspect that I need the most recent version of this product that runs on Windows XP. Can anyone direct me to place where I may download Minisap without having to pay for it again!  I really have to say that it shouldn't be this difficult to install a product that is used for training and education. So far I've spent more time trying to install than learning ABAP.

    Most of the issues with trying to install this are either answered by the html documents on the kernel disc or by the FAQ doc at www.IT-minds.com search on ABAP and look for the resources.
    One issue these documents will not solve is, if you have / had a version of SQLserver installed. As the disc only uses the MSinstaller_01 and can only use the default instance of MS SQLserver2000 desktop engine (MSDE2000).

  • Texts maintained and the info object?

    Hi Expert's,
    We are pulling data from CRM.There is field called Inernational in the CRM.We will be getting as '0001','0002','0003' and '0004' into the BW.But at the cube level there is Update routine written to map these keys as 'coutnry/customer', 'Customer/country'...like this successively.This is correctly working at cube level.But when users are trying to create the adhoc queries users are getting not only these texts like 'country/customer'....but also getting the keys like '0001'.....This is creating confusion to end users.
    If I looked at the text table for the field international at the BW level.I can see both the texts as well as the key.When I tried to delete  and save it I am getting message like  Table /BIC/YZinter_ntl  does not  Exists.Can any body help me to resolve this.
    Thanks,
    Vasu

    Hi Vasu,
    Please ensure that the below settings are in place to resolve your problem:
    1.Ensure that master data is maintained for the InfoObject Inernational (Zinter_ntl). The master data must be as below:
    Char.           Text.
    u20180001u2019  'coutnry/customer'
    2.Better you maintain all the text (Short/Medium/Long), for the values.
    3.In the InfoObject, Zinter_ntl maintenance, in BEx tab, ensure that in Display, 'Textu2019 is selected.
    4.In the report, Zinter_ntl properties, please ensure u2018Textu2019 is selected.
    5.If the report is based on a Cube/Multiprovider, goto multiprovider maintenance -> extras -> Structure specific InfoObject properties -> select u2018Textu2019 for Zinter_ntl.
    If nothing of the above works, you will have to create a second infoobject, add it as a navigational attribute to Zinter_ntl, make the above settings for it. Then use in query instead of Zinter_ntl.
    Please let me know if it works.
    Regards,
    Pankaj

  • RowSetInfo; bc4j; how to get the View Object

    So I'm trying to get/update/insert/delete records in a database that contain an interMedia image in a blob.
    I've figured out that I can't simply set the ImmediateAccess attribute. It doesn't like that...
    So I'm trying to go after the view object, since the interMedia white paper uses a VO row setAttribute to accomplish the write.
    RowSetInfo extends ResultSetInfo which has a method getViewObject(). Cool.
    So I try it... and get an error that getViewObject() has protected access.
    Anyone know what I am doing wrong? Or should I be even taking this approach?!?!?!
    If I go exclusively with the VO layer... how do I preserve the navigationBar functionality? Or do I need to roll my own?
    ( NOTE: This hilights another example of the perception of 'friction' between rowsetinfos and the view objects/entity objects. An approach that makes "sense" to me as a naive novice didn't pan out. And oddly, most of the bc4j examples go against VOs when, if you are an application programmer, you may never see or use the VO methods ( although it looks like we should be)... we're working at the ResultSetInfo layer. )
    Is the the observation of other folk who are building Java Applications/Applets? Or do you all work directly with VOs instead of going through the ResultSetInfo "layer"?

    Here is some sample code that I am currently working on and will post on OTN when complete. The code shows how to access a BC4J Domain based on an Oracle type. Working with interMedia is similar since interMedia utilizes Oracle Object types. Please note that I have not tested this yet against interMedia, but I'm hoping that you may find the general process useful.

  • Report on standard ODS object  and transactional ODS object

    hi gurus
    i have an infoset which is built on two transactional ODS objects and one standard ODS object which gets the data on regulr schedule. the transactional ODS obejcts get the user entered data.
    when i query on the infoset, i am getting the data. and when i query on the standard ODS object i am getting the data. but when i am trying to create a query on the combination of the Infoset and the ODS object i am not getting the data.
    is there any way to generate report on the standard ods object and Infoset from transactional ods objects.
    your help will be greatly appreciated.

  • Getting the Request Object in the EJB published as a Web Service

    Hi experts,
    I have a Portal Service that call a BAPI in a back-end system with the Connector Framework. I have a Portal Component that calls the Portal Service, passing the Locale (request.getLocale()) and the User (request.getUser()) object. It's work fine!
    I need to call the Portal Service by an EJB that is published as a Web Service. The connection between the EJB and Portal Service is ok, but I don't know how to get the Locale and the User object in the EJB to pass to the Portal Service.
    Is possible to get the request object from the HTTP SOAP Request?
    Thanks,

    Hey Alice!
    The Feature Hashing module is actually a wrapper around
    Vowpal Wabbit's implementation of the murmurhash. Thus, it takes text in, and produces 2^N new features based on the text, where N is the bitsize specified in the module. These features (and not the original text!) should be used during model training.
    The Learner will then keep track of these features behind the scenes.
    When you publish your web service and these features are recomputed for new input text (same N), they are used as the features for scoring.
    Does that make sense?

  • Public class and the source filename

    May be I'm asking a silly question, but why the name of the source file needs to match with the public class's name?
    If the rule is that only one public class is allowed per source file, then the compiler can simply flag the error and quit.
    Any reasons behind this, other than for the ease of compilation?

    I refer you to the Java Language Spec:
    When packages are stored in a file system (7.2.1), the host system may choose to enforce the restriction that it is a compile-time error if a type is not found in a file under a name composed of the type name plus an extension (such as .java or .jav) if either of the following is true:
    - The type is referred to by code in other compilation units of the package in which the type is declared.
    - The type is declared public (and therefore is potentially accessible from code in other packages).
    This restriction implies that there must be at most one such type per compilation unit. This restriction makes it easy for a compiler for the Java programming language or an implementation of the Java virtual machine to find a named class within a package; for example, the source code for a public type wet.sprocket.Toad would be found in a file Toad.java in the directory wet/sprocket, and the corresponding object code would be found in the file Toad.class in the same directory.

  • How to reduce the length of the info object that's being used?

    Hi All,
    I have created info objects and used them in a DSO. Now I want to reduce the length of the info objects but i'm unable to do it. When I reduced the length and tried activating the Info object, it's giving me error and the info object is not getting activated. Please guide me how I can reduce the length and activate the Info Object.
    Thanks
    Hima Bindu

    Reducing the length of an infoobject is not that easy
    Cleanest way -
    Drop all transaction data for that infoobject
    Drop all data in the DSO and cubes.
    Reduce the length and then activate and transport all the infoobject and there dependence objects.

  • Serialization Graph and Self Referencing Objects or Circular Lists

    Hello Everybody,
    Let's say for instance you have a doubly linked circular list of some Object Obj in Java 6 and Obj implements Serializable.
    What happens when the graph is it constructed and this circular list is Serialized?
    Does the Serialization process build any sort of Direct Acyclic Graph possibly using some Topological Sort Algorithm?
    Does it fail?
    Or does it keep track of all the elements in the list that have already been serialized and ignores the elements that have been
    already serialized following the references of the objects in the circular list?
    Thanks in advance,
    Carlos.

    What happens when the graph is it constructed and this circular list is Serialized?It works. See the [Object Serialization Specification|http://java.sun.com/javase/6/docs/platform/serialization/spec/serial-arch.html].
    Or does it keep track of all the elements in the list that have already been serialized and ignores the elements that have been
    already serialized following the references of the objects in the circular list?It doesn't ignore them, it writes references to the already-written object instead of another copy. When deserializing, the references are resolved and the original object graph is restored correctly.

  • How to put a value into the Gauge object

    Hi Experts
    I would like to use the DS_1.getData() command to retrieve data from a query
    and place it into a gauge (standard object in DS). What I understand is that
    the getData command retrieves a float value and the gauge object expects an integer
    value. I didn’t find a float to integer conversion so I tried a work around. It
    looked something like this but it did not work:
    GAUGE_1.setValue(Convert.stringToInt(Convert.floatToString(DS_1.getData("CKXYNLFBDHH0X2U91711DX83S",
    {"ZQMSITEPD":'S999'}).value)));
    The value from the float to string conversion holds the decimals like 49,937 and this creates an error in the conversion from
    string to int.
    Does anyone have an example on how to get data from a DS into a gauge?
    Kind regards
    Erik

    HI Erik, have you tried to use the Convert object?
    float can be converted to string with argument "###", this will round all numbers after colon.
    eg.
    var fullNumber = Convert.floatToString(55.83, "###");
    var numberInt = Convert.stringToInt(fullNumber);
    APPLICATION.createInfoMessage("Value " + numberInt);
    fullNumber = Convert.floatToString(55.23, "###");
    numberInt = Convert.stringToInt(fullNumber);
    APPLICATION.createInfoMessage("Value " + numberInt);
    see for many examples

  • IVR and the Portal

    Hi - has anyone used IVR in conjunction with the Portal (and does it work with Adobe Forms as well)?
    Thanks!
    Steve

    Hi Stephanie,
    In the portal the system object pointing to the new cluster instance needs to point at the virtual node which will always be available. So instead of an alias you use the virtual name of the clustered instance. Also in the configuration parameters remember to use UNC paths (ex. "
    virtualservernode\sapmnt\SID\SYS\profile" instead of "C:\usr\sap\SID\SYS\profile".) We have a problem due to this in my company at the moment because it wasnt installed using virtual nodes and UNC paths, but using physical hardware nodes/names, and non UNC paths. So if the cluster fails over, it will be alive, but users would not be able to log on anymore because their links (favourites etc) points to the physcal node 1 of the cluster, and the system object in the portal points to the old node 1. Its easy enough to change the portal system object, but parameters are wrong in the profile too, which is a bigger issue. So please be aware about functionality in the cluster operation, and make sure to implement it after best practise methods so that you can avoid these issues.
    Another way of controlling this would be to use a Web Dispatcher in front of your portal so if you should encounter problems you only have 1 place to correct paths etc. So the users would have 1 link to the portal, and you could change whats behind the Web Dispatcher without any user interruption - they still just have the pointer for the Web Dispatcher - as a single point of entrance to the portal. This is a solution I will implement myself Q1 of next year, because I had issues with old saved favourites when I changed our portal environment to run https/ssl. everyone still had the old link for http - and you cant blame the users really, I use favourites a lot myself So I want a single point of entry for the portal environment, nomatter whats behind.
    I hope everything will be ok in your project.
    Kind Regards,
    Soren

  • Graphics2D and AffineTransform needs object-reuse for smooth animation!

    Hi,
    I'm currently working on a graphical framework for animation using Java2D but has come to a dead end. The goal of the framework is to deliver smooth animation on various platforms, but this seems impossible due to the following fact:
    I have a tree of graphical objects i render on a Graphics2D-object. Some of the objects to be rendered are transforms on the Graphics2D instead of visible objects - this way I can have transform-objects in my tree which will affect all child-objects. This is all very nice, but when doing transformations on the Graphics2D A LOT of objects are being created by the implementation of Graphics2D (SunGraphics2D). I've designed my framework to utilize object-reuse and cacheing-mechanisms to ensure no garbage collection is performed when actual animation is in progress - if gc's are performed, this results in visible pauses in the animation. Now, I would like to ask if someone knows how to get around this problem, or suggest I simply abandon Java2D?
    The details of my problem is the following:
    When doing transforms on the Graphics2D-object which is passed to every object in the tree (and hence, a lot of transformations are being done), a lot of FontInfo-objects are being created - even though I don't use any of them - it's all in the subsystem. The source in the SunGraphics2D is as follows:
    // this is called by my framework to rotate all childs in the tree
    public void rotate(double d) {
      transform.rotate(d);
      invalidateTransform(); // the evil starts here
    // this is called a lot of places in SunGraphics2D
    protected void invalidateTransform() {
      // a lot is thigs are going on in this method - cutted out...
      // before this method returns, the following takes place
      fontInfo = checkFontInfo(null, font); // now we are getting there
    // this is the method of pure evil object allocations
    public FontInfo checkFontInfo(FontInfo fontinfo, Font font1) {
      // every time this method is called, a FontInfo-object is allocated
      FontInfo fontinfo1 = new FontInfo();
      // and a lot of other objects are being created as well...
    }I have come to think, that Java2D is pretty old and should be pretty mature at this point, but now I doubt it since object-reuse is a pretty obvious way of doing optimizations.
    Has any of you experienced the same problem or maybe found a solution to doing transformations on a Graphics2D-object without a ton of objects being created?
    If you would like to have a look at the problem you can do the following:
    Make yourself a little program which is doing some transforms on a Graphics2D-object in a loop (to emulate the 25fps animation and the transform-objects in the tree). Now use your favorite memory profiler (I use JProbe Memory Profiler, free evaluation) and see for yourself - the objects which are garbage collected includes a ton of FontInfo-objects and many AffineTransform-objects.
    If I do not find any solution to this problem, I'm forced to face the fact, that Java2D is not suitable for animation-purposes - gc's during animation is no solution!
    Thank you for your time - hope to hear from you soon.
    Regards,
    // x-otic.

    I think the main point is java transform objects are to slow to use in animations. They definitly have there uses, but for fast animations you need something more optimized.
    If you assume a general graphic objects has getHeight, width, x, y, render(). You could do translations using these general properties at an abstract level, letting each graphic object implements its own way to render itself and use the properties.
    I tryed to make sense!
