Good day to all !
i schduled 0HR_PT_1 data source its taking lot of time almost 5 days but still active in source side sm37 is almost 2crore crecords. can any one explain me how to load selection wise data like fiscal year . but this belongs to employee joining details .

Yes you can...
1. Check Hard disk configutation in ECC and BW.
2. Ask basis about tha data loads i.e. Process memory
3. The network traffic.
4. Delete all indexs on cube and load.
5. Better load non peak hours.
Check the logs in ST22 and SM37

Hi,
I have a big issue when launching the initialization with data transfer for the datasource 0HR_PT_1...
The problem is that in the begining, when checking the process, the delay between the task:
Asynchronous transmission of info IDoc 87 in task 0171 (1 parallel tasks)
and the task
Call customer enhancement BW_BTE_CALL_BW204010_E (BTE) with 36.958 records
takes only a few seconds.
see ->
22:08:33 Asynchronous transmission of info IDoc 4 in task 0005 (1 parallel tasks)
22:09:44 Call customer enhancement BW_BTE_CALL_BW204010_E (BTE) with 36.524 records
But after a few hours, this delay became bigger and bigger to reach the 50 min (see below) for the same amount of records.
13:27:12 Asynchronous transmission of info IDoc 162 in task 0321 (1 parallel tasks)
14:19:19 Call customer enhancement BW_BTE_CALL_BW204010_E (BTE) with 34.282 records
Result, after 2 days of processing, we had to cancel the job. there was only 5.800.000 records in the PSA at that moment.
Anyone has a idea on why this delay is growing more and more ?

Hi Manoj,
Note 353177 refers to table T569R.
It is advised to set the time frame to 1 or 2 years.

0HR_PT_1 Loading Issue

I am currently loading 0HR_PT_1 in Dev (InfoCube 0PT_C01) using delta initialization.
However, monitor status is being displayed in 'Yellow' and data is not available for reporting in the Cube, even though 'Data Processing' indicator is all set to 'Green' in Details tab.
In fact, 'Extraction (message)' indicator is still in 'Yellow'.
Do you have any suggestion, how to resolve this issue?
R/3 log says following:
No entry in HR table T569R for 106
No entry in HR table T569R for 105
No personal work schedule for peronnel number 300092.
I have found two OSS notes so far, 696836 & 696838 that could resolve the issue, but not successful!
(OSS 696836 is already applied in Dev and I have maitained T569R as instructed in OSS 696838)

review the BW IMG (transation SBIW) in your sourcesystem.
The customizing for the datasources is done there.
follow the path "Settings for Application-Specific DataSources"
-> Human Resources -> Define Time Frame for Transfer
There is a documention for the functionality available which
should clarify this issue.
Even if you do not want to restrict the data selection with these
entries, you might enter 01/01/1900 and 12/31/9999 to prevent
the warning.
The possibility to restrict the selection was created to achieve
better performance, so in general I would recommend to use
a meaningful restiction (a year or two ) , as
extraction of time data can cause performance problems (runtime
and volume).

Warning Messages when extracting Time Management Data using 0HR_PT_1,2

Hi,
When extracting data using 0HR_PT_1 and 0HR_PT_2 extractors it comes up with the following errors and warnings even if the records in the source system are correct.
"No Personel Work Schedule for personnel number XXXXXXX" and
"Personnel number XXXXXXX could not be locked".
Did any one of you face the same issue? If so, please do let me know how to fix these!

To my knowledge this is caused because there are locks on registrations for these employees in R/3, probably because there using the system at the time of extraction.
To my knowledge the only way to handle this is to set "yellow" status to "green" this can be done automaticly on the InfoPackage.
I know this problem from two companies and i have not experienced any inconsistancies on data due to this proceeding.

0HR_PT_1 Datasource doesnot extract New employees in Delta Load

Hi Gurus,
I did an initialization of delta based on Company code selection and calendar month range (01.2008 to 12.2009) in the month of Aug-09 around 60million records came into BI.The dataload was successfull (Info yellow but made into green). After that when the new employees created in ECC for these emplyoees there is no data being extracted through 0HR_PT_1 datasource.
Gone through the following notes
Note 670751 - Time management extractors and new employees
This talks ablut selection range for Personnel Number which i have not given at the time of init. But now already data is there in BI and it will take hell out of time. Its not sure even though we did init selection with peronal Number ranges 10 years data is coming into BI.
Note 353177 - Long-run. progr. at time data extrct. in delta mode
This note talks about time frame which itself is a confict with the infotype 0439.
Please suggest how to minimize the successfull initialization of delta with out missing the new employees workschedule data.

Define Time Frame for Transfer
In this step, you define the time frame used to select time data for reports in the Business Warehouse. Only time data entered for a date or period within this time frame is transferred to BW.
The time frame you specify is activated when you
Request data for initializing the delta transfer
Request the delta since the last request or repeat the delta request
Transfer all requested data and do not restrict the required period in BW.
Example
1. You regularly use BW to gain an overview of the current calendar year.
You enter January 1, 2001 as the earliest transfer date and December 31, 2001 as the latest transfer date. At the start of the next year, you set the dates forward one year.
2. You want to have regular access to the current data. You also want to take account of time data that has changed in the last six months. You are also interested in absences that have been recorded for future periods.
You therefore set the earliest transfer data to six months ago and the latest transfer date to six months in the future. Each month, you set the dates forward one month.
Recommendation
Make the time frame as small as possible to avoid unnecessarily long runtimes, and as large as necessary to transfer all relevant data.
Activities
1. Choose the Check Feature TIMMO activity.
2. Check the modifiers specified. If you want to use special modifiers for BW, adjust the feature accordingly.
3. Choose the Earliest Transfer Date activity and enter the date up to which
a) Data is to be selected (when you request all data)
b) All changes made after the last request are to be selected (for a delta request)
4. Choose the Latest Transfer Date activity and enter the date up to which data entered for the future is to be selected.
5. Note these activities (outside the SAP system) for your periodical activities so that you can update the time frame monthly or annually, for example.

0HR_PT_1 (Employee Planned Times) has incorrect values

Hi BW'ers
I am trying to use the 0HR_PT_1. The setup is ok as I can extract data. The problem is that the Planned working hours are incorrect compared to the values in R/3 using Txn PA20, InfoType = 7 (Planned Working Time), and then looking at the work schedule.
For example -
An employee in the R/3 work schedule for August 2007 has 172.5 hours.
The 0HR_PT_1 extract has 0PLHRS = 195.5 & 0WRHRS = 195.5
There are no public holidays or leave for this person in August.
I would expect that BW would have 172.5 hours for this employee in both 0PLHRS & 0WRHRS.
Any suggestions / advice would be appreciated.

I forgot to deal with the units !!!
So, when you add the hours AND days the number is correct !
By extracting the PSA data I found the problem. The correct data is coming into BW, the Units are not being dealt with when loading the cube......

0HR_PT_1 Extraction issue No entry in HR table T569R for 0106

hi experts,
we are implementing Time and Labour cube, and trying to extracting from ECC to BW cube (0PT_C01).
when i extract data from 0HR_PT_1 data source the PSA Request is in yellow for a long time. when i check the issue in ECC. Its giving the below issues.
No entry in HR table T569R for 0106
No entry in HR table T569R for 0105
No personal work schedule for personnel number 00013090
No personal work schedule for personnel number 00013145
No personal work schedule for personnel number 00500009
No personal work schedule for personnel number 00500026
How to rectify the above issues and the load make successful?

Hi,
Do the below things, as per the note 696836.
By using the view V_T569R, maintain the retroactive categories
1. 05 'Earliest time data carry-over'
2. 06 'Latest time data carry-over'
which constitute the time frame, in which the system will perform an extraction. Outside this time frame, the system will neither select any data nor calculate any delta. SAP recommends that you choose a period that includes approximately the current year. You have to maintain and update this time window periodically.

Delta in enhanced 0HR_PT_1 DataSource

Hi gurus,
I have a problem with enhanced 0HR_PT_1 DataSource.
There are some fields added to the extractor structure and one of these fields (ZNIEOB) should be the base for delta queue.
Unfortunatelly the delta mechanism doesn't work as it should - the changes in ZNIEOB field don't generate delta records.
How should I modify the extractor to make the delta work?

I don't 0HR_PT_1 but I think there is a lock in sm12 for the personnel number because there is an user that modify the personnel number.

Problems with delta from 0HR_PT_1

Dear all,
we have some problems with the delta mechnism of 0HR_PT_1. We know that it generates Infotype 0439 when being initialized for each employee that is in the initial selection, but then we don't get any data for further changes to the workschedule.
Does anybody know the exact menaing of the fields

We are able to extrat some delta data but for unknown reasons some timesheet seem to be totally reversed...So the delta data we extract is inconsistent with the dat we can see in ECC6
Have you find out the root cause of your problem ?

Extracting data to datasource 0HR_PT_1, data does not reflect in structure.

I have already enhanced datasource 0HR_PT_1 to include the 4 fields I need from table T549Q (PABRJ PABRP BEGDA ENDDA) and I am trying to write the extract to move the data, but I seem to be having issues. The correct data is stored in an internal table with a header line, and it is also being looped through.I am doing a 'READ TABLE <itab> BINARY SEARCH and then a MOVE statement to move the fields from the internal table to the data source fields, along with a MODIFY table statement. The data is not populating, even though it is in the internal table, any suggestions?

After when we try to pull delta it coming 0 Records,
In RSA7 delta record is showing 0,
We are maintaining the T569R table also.

chk whether the users were allowed to do posts after the init loads.chk if any new records in the HR tables after ur init loads.

Fields for Absences/attendences (BW HR) Datasources 0HR_PT_1/ 0HR_PT_2

Hi Friends,
I am extracting data from the following 2 data sources0HR_PT_1 and 0HR_PT_2 and loading it to the cube 0PT_C01 as part of time management(HR). I have a requirement, where in the ABSENSES and ATTENDENCES should also be extracted. But the standard Datasources does not have the field SUBTY which is available in V_554S_B .
Can anybody please tell me what is the corresponding feild for SUBTY used in either of the datasources.
I have searched this in the sdn forum and also the goole, but din't find anything on this.

How to enable delta for Datasource 0HR_PT_1

Hi BW Gurus,
I am trying to extract records for the period from 01/05/2007 to 01/02/2007. But it is extracting all the full update records instead of extracting only this period records. I checked in R/3 using RSA3. Here it is displaying only 188 records for this period. So please suggest me how to get only this period records or else how can I enable delta to get modified/newly added records.
Plz suggest me as it is urgetnt.

create a selection condition in your existing info package & give the required time period value in it & try scheduling
