0hr_py_1 datasource extraction problem

Friends,
I am trying to extract data for 0hr_py_1 datasource and having issues.
After activation, when i go in R3 to check in rsa3, it says 0 records.
What i know is that HR extraction is simple and you just have to activate the datasource and replicate Metdata. I am not sure of any other steps...can anybody help. Are their any additional steps on R3 to be performed ????????

Hi,
Check if you are extracting in full mode in RSA3 and if you still don't get data, try to debug the extractor and see at which step it is not getting data.
From this you will get to know which are the tables / FM involved in data selection.

I'm afraid that I need some help from you. We are extracting HR data via 0HR_PY_1 Datasource and I have noticed that some fields are not filled by the extraction program. I've read BW Online Help about this datasource and I have realized that the extraction program doesn´t fill these fields.
Do you know how can I do to make these fields to be filled?

Thank you very much for your help but, I'm afraid that the procedure that you explained is for enhancing the datasource but my problem is that the fields already exist but they are not filled by extraction programmes. I don't understand why does SAP make this and I was wondering if there are any way to make these fields to be filled using the standard procedure. I mean, if these fields are not filled (and SAP tells you so in BW Online Help), why these fields are included in the extract structure and in the datasource?. I tend to think that there are any procedure to follow in order to fill these fields. What do you think about it?. In adition, the not-filled-fields are CO objects so it doesn´t appear to me to be very easy the filling of them.
I don't know if anybody has been in the same situation or if is there any documentation about it that can help. Thank you for your help!

Any progress on the ACR 7.3+ Bridge repeat thumbnail extraction problem?
It was very good news that the cropped lens-correction repeat extraction bug was fixed in 8.2, but this newer problem, surfacing in the ACR 7.3 update (and still present in 8.2), is causing a bigger headache than the older bug for some users of Bridge.
Unfortunately, I have been unable to identify a trigger for the condition, which is proving very difficult to recreate reliably, other than it very definitely being introduced with ACR 7.3. Adobe's Steve G told the Bridge forum that the 7.3+ problem had been recreated by Adobe, and was being investigated along with the other (now solved) problem. Has any progress been made? Or is it still a mystery?

They know about it, they just don't know how to recreate it.
Best thing we can do is reliably recreate the fault. My workaround is to only enable Lens Profile Corrections when necessary, as it is a combination of that and some other factor(s) which seems to trigger it.
If you read all the discussions, you'll see that there are two bugs which produce the same symptoms. One introduced in probably ACR 6.1, whichg was fixed in 8.2; and the other was introduced in 7.3 and is ongoing.

Extraction Problem - DataSource is not defined in the source system

Hi,
I am loading transaction data into sales cubes, while loading in process chain it shows "No Data"
so when i go in rsa3 extration for checking availibilty of data.
The following message shows,
DataSource 2LIS_12_VCHDR is not defined in the source system.
In LBWE first it was shown Inactive then i make it active.
So, what is the procedure to defined this data source to the source system.

Datasource name : 2LIS_12_VCHDR , Cube Name : 0SD_C03
and how to activate in RSA5 ? & after activation how can migrate the same datasource in r3 side by replication?
Also the procedure to fill up the setup tables and then do the loading from r3side by thorugh infopackage...

Extraction Problem- while filling the setup table

Hi all,
I have a problem when i fill the setup table for LO cockpit Extraction on any SD datasources (2_LIS_VAHDR,2lis_13_vdkon etc.,). i am done with LBWQ successfully. i also verified the datasources in RSA6. They are in active status in RSA7-delta queue.
After i submit the request to fill the setup table, i am getting
"datasource 2_LIS_VAHDR contains data still to be transferred". if i check the extract checker (RSA3) i am getting the error msg "data source is not defined in the source system"
Can anybody help me on this?
one of my friend suggested that it could be the reason that some jobs are in active status that loads/updates data into base tables which the datasources refers.
Any idea on the reason and resolutions?

Hi Vijaya,
We too got the same Error : " the datasources are not defined in the source system".
This is source system connection problem. Check whether connection between R/3 and BW is active.
This error occurs when the connection is inactive.
Also, if it is copy client, then check data exists in other client. If so delete the setup tables data in that client as well.
This will resolve your issue.

CO-PA Extraction problem

Dear all,
I created CO-PA datasource with costing-based. When I test extraction (RSA3) in R/3 with no any selection criteria, it only extracts a few data. When I check the CE4XXXX table, there are tons of data in it. It seems like that it gets data from summarization table. I've selected all line item characterisitcs when defining this COPA the datasource. Is there anyone come across this problem before. Thanks a lot for any suggestion.

Purchasing Extraction Problem

I am extracting data using datasource 2lis_02_itm and when it gets into PSA there are many records that are doubled up while in RSA3 on the ECC side it shows the correct amount. What could be the problem?

Are you running a delta or full load? In a delta, the recordmode is usually what doubles up your record in order to manage the actual changes. If its' a full load, when comparing doubles, do you see any fields that differ?

BW Extraction Problem

Hi Friends,
I have a problem of Extracting data into BW from one Hr extrcator.
When I run the RSA3 Extract in the source system for the datasource 0HR_LSO_3, I am getting the records in RSA3, for the selections I have passed.
But when I schedule an Ipak with the same selections in BW, the Monitor says as below
No data available
Diagnosis
The data request was a full update.
In this case, the corresponding table in the source system does not
contain any data.
System Response
Info IDoc received with status 8.
Procedure
Check the data basis in the source system.
Even without giving any selections in IPAK, I am getting the same error.
I have checked the Idocs in BW & source system, they are not Stuck and there are no short Dumps reported.
I have checked the tcodes, BD87 , we21 in source system & BW, ..everything is fine.
I have recreated the Transfer rules , once again and made sure that all the Transfer rules, update rules are active.
My R/3 system is on SAP ECC6 & BW is BI7.0.
Please let me know what could be the issue for this.

Check your tRFC in BI system, check with your background user as user and period for some old date.
Check if you have some entries. Please revert back.
Then process the LUWs from edit from menu.

Material Prices extraction problem

Hi Experts,
I need to extract the data of the material prices not only the present and previous but all the history data of the Material Prices, so i used the datasource 0CO_PC_ACT_05. The Problem is that when i check the PSA table i see only the last 2 months records i.e(Fiscal Year 11.2007 and 12.2007) and the no of records i am getting is nearly 2 lakhs. Then i checked the datasource 0CO_PC_ACT_05 in the R/3 system with RSA3 and got the same values. But i think this datasource 0CO_PC_ACT_05 extracts the data from the table MBEWH or MBEW and these tables have nearly 35 lakhs records. So Please can anyone help me to extract the all history data of the material prices, am i using the wrong datasource? Is there any problem with the extractor if so how can i solve it? There is no restriction in extracting the data.
Please help me to solve this problem its very urgent.

This is the process:
1.      Go to transaction code RSA3 and see if any data is available related
to your DataSource. If data is there in RSA3 then go to transaction code
LBWG (Delete Setup data) and delete the data by entering the application
name.
2.      Go to transaction SBIW --> Settings for Application Specific
Datasource --> Logistics --> Managing extract structures --> Initialization
--> Filling the Setup table --> Application specific setup of statistical
data --> perform setup (relevant application)
3.      In OLI*** (for example OLI7BW for Statistical setup for old
documents : Orders) give the name of the run and execute. Now all the
available records from R/3 will be loaded to setup tables.
4.      Go to transaction RSA3 and check the data.
5.      Go to transaction LBWE and make sure the update mode for the
corresponding DataSource is serialized V3 update.
6.      Go to BW system and create infopackage and under the update tab
select the initialize delta process. And schedule the package. Now all the
data available in the setup tables are now loaded into the data target.
7.      Now for the delta records go to LBWE in R/3 and change the update
mode for the corresponding DataSource to Direct/Queue delta. By doing this
record will bypass SM13 and directly go to RSA7. Go to transaction code RSA7
there you can see green light # Once the new records are added immediately
you can see the record in RSA7.
8.      Go to BW system and create a new infopackage for delta loads. Double
click on new infopackage. Under update tab you can see the delta update
radio button.
9.      Now you can go to your data target and see the delta record.
Assign points if useful.

0CO_PC_10 datasource extracting wrong values for company code

Hi,
I am extracting data from the datasource 0CO_PC_10 product cost analysis and found that Company code values are wrong in the extractor checker. Company code field is taking values of Plant. For example:
if company code 6100 has got plants 6101 6102 6104, ideallly all the rows should have company code value as 6100, instead
it is taking 6101 6102 6104 which are nothing but plant values. So in both columns I am getting same values.
Is this behaviour normal for this datasource?
I have tried to check help.sap on this data source in the below link, it says company code value is extracted from AUFK table but it is not happened.

Raise a SAP message there must be some problem with the Extraction logic use.
Also, in the meantime you can try debugging the program used to extract the data.

Extraction Problem

Hi,
I'm using 0crm_srv_process_i datasource . While I'm trying to extracting data from CRM to BW (for some dates or some data selections) I found all data showing under one Sales Group in BW,So I checked in RSA3 in CRM than I found all data showing under one Sales Group ,so that effects problem while extraction in BW also. I checked my mappings in BW , it running fine so no problem in my BW.
Please help me to resolve this issue.
Note: My delta was running fine. Daily I'm getting correct data.

0CRM_OPPT_H Infosource extraction problem (no transfer rules from Content)

Hi there,
I'm having a problem with 0CRM_OPPT_H infosource on BW 7.0 and Content version 703 SP9.
After activating the object from content there is no transfer rules for header infosource, item infosource is ok and I'm getting data. I've tried to created a DTP from scratch but I'm not geting data from source system. I've tested getting data from source system with RSA3 extraction test and it's working fine.
I've been checking on sdn and tested changing authorizations but it doesnt work.
Any ideas ??? It's normal I'm not getting transfer rules from content? Why I can not assing Datasource 0CRM_OPPT_H to inforsource 0CRM_OPPT_H??

I believe I had the same problem as you did. When you're installing the Business Content in BI you have to make sure BI knows which source systems you're installing BC from.
Go to RSA1 -> BI Content
In the Edit drop down menu choose "Source System Assignment"
Make sure your CRM and BI system are checked in the window that pops up. Try collecting for the 0CRM_OPPT_H again and see if the objects you're missing show up this time. If that doesn't work search through the specific object types for items you're missing. For example, search transfer rules for "0CRM_OPPT*" or just "0CRM_OPPT" (i'm not sure if the wildcard is valid in this instance) and see if what you're looking for shows up in the list.

0CRM_LEADS_H EXTRACTION PROBLEM?

we are using CRM 5.0 and BI7.0 systems,i'm trying to extract 0crm_leads_h datasource,i'm using BI content Infocube and DSO after transformation and DTP
i ran infopakage in monitor it showing waiting status.just 85 records was avaliable in CRM system under this datasource.In CRM source system ,right click on CRM system clicked on check options the following error was occured"Result of the destination check: Password logon no longer possible - too many faile d attempts RSAR 375 "

Hi Vasu,
Looks like remrote user password has been locked. goto T CODE SU01 and unlock your remote user,generally it shud be ALEREMOTE. After unlocking check your source system status and load the data.
