0IC_C03 data only to PSA, not to data target

Hi,
when I try to load data to cube 0IC_C03 I have problem that only to PSA receive, when execute Infopackage - I give this note
"No data target have been updated from this request (It might be that no data target have been defined or selected yet"
I tried t to fill field in tab Data Targets in Infopackage definition, but there are no possibility to choose 0IC_C03.
Thanks for advice.
Petr

Hi Petr,
If you are working on BI 7.0, using IP you can load till PSA.
you have to create DTP to load data from Data source(PSA) to CUBE
Hope this helps

  • BW 3.5 - Update to PSA only / Read PSA and Update Data Target

    Hi Folks,
    I am planning to use on a  BW 3.5 data source and infopackage that loads to PSA only (as the source system job runs quite long and we would run other prepration loads in parallel before pushed to final cube). And then later in the process chain the process Read PSA and Update Data Target to load the data to final cube.
    As we plan to run the process chain 3 times a day I was wondering if the Read PSA and Update Data Target always takes only the latest request loaded to the PSA (as it is always the same infopackage) or do we have to delete the PSA request at the end of each process chain run so that not the next run will load the PSA request again as it is still in the PSA?
    Thanks for all replies in advance,
    Axel

    You are loading the Delta till the PSA, multiple times a day, and after each update to the PSA you will send the data to the Cube.
    Once its there in the PSA, you are performing further tasks & then updating the cube multiple times (once after each delta)
    Well, the 1st load to the cube should be OK.
    But, from the next load onwards, it would pick up all the requests from the PSA & you will have wrong values in the Cube.
    Because, i think, while using 'Read PSA & Update the Target', you can't set it for a FULL or a DELTA load.
    It will bring in everything that exists in the PSA.
    I would advice you to clean the PSA before the starting next Delta.
    But, there is a counter argument.
    If the data mart sign is reflected in the PSA for the request that has been loaded into the cube, then the next time the system will pick up the request which does not have a data mart symbol.
    You can always give this a try in your Dev system.

  • Are there any apps which will allow local calling using data only that do not require any special numbers called out initially and does not require the receiver to have a similar app or account?

    Are there any apps which will allow local calling using data only (not minutes, no extra charge) that do not require any special numbers called out initially and does not require the receiver to have a similar app or account?  Just for random local calling.

    Yup.
    Here is a way you could solve this by adding an extra column and a small lookup table:
    The lookup table is here for the copying:
    0
    1
    k
    kilo
    2
    M
    mega
    3
    G
    giga
    4
    T
    tera
    5
    P
    peta
    6
    E
    exa
    7
    Z
    zetta
    8
    Y
    yotta
    In table 8 (the one on the left in the image) column A is where the values are.
    B1=A1÷(1024^VLOOKUP(INT(LOG(A1, 1024)), Binary Prefixes::A:D, 1))&" "&VLOOKUP(INT(LOG(A1, 1024)), Binary Prefixes::A:D, 2)&"B"
    this is shorthand for... select cell B1, then type (or copy and paste from here) the formula:
    =A1÷(1024^VLOOKUP(INT(LOG(A1, 1024)), Binary Prefixes::A:D, 1))&" "&VLOOKUP(INT(LOG(A1, 1024)), Binary Prefixes::A:D, 2)&"B"
    select cell B1, copy,
    now select all the cells in column B, paste

  • Date/Time Field but not a date field type..

    I am dealing with a table that was already created and filled/filling with data.. so don't have an option to have someone go back and fix.
    The field i am dealing with is a varchar2 not a date field.
    it has values like
    12/31/1899
    2/17/2010 10:00:00 AM
    2/24/2010 9:00:00 AM
    2/17/2010 8:30:00 AM
    2/24/2010 9:00:00 AM
    12/31/1899
    Basically the 12/31/1899 dates are supplied the data source as an indicator that the real date/time is unknown until it gets updated later in the day or next day. (why its like this i don't know)
    anyways.. I need to drop records that are 7 days old.
    So for say the 2/17/2010 ones, when its 2/24/2010 when the process is ran, those records will get deleted but with the '12/31/1899' ones staying as they are awaiting to be given a date/time '12/31/1899' date is always used for the 'unknowns' so that is constant. The other 'valid ones' always have a date and a time given.
    I've tried a few things today, but kept blowing up.

    The time in their messing with it?
    >
    You'd have that problem if the date format picture ends before any of your your strings end....
    Eg.. your date field has "time component" and you just use... "DD-MON-YYYY" as the format picture.
    However, If your format picture includes the maximum possible detail (of any of your strings) , you'll not see that error. Check this code below.
    sql> select * from temp;
            ID DATE_STRING
             1 02/11/2010 03:10:26

  • Copy to Mac file Created Date uses iPhoto Modified not Original Date

    When a photo is edited in iPhoto the 'Extended Photo Info' 'Modified' date field is changed to the now() date and time but the 'Original' date iPhoto remains the same.
    Then when a copy is made of a photo in iPhoto and then 'Paste Item(s)' is made to the Mac desktop all the files dates default to the iPhoto 'Modified' date not the iPhoto 'Original Date'. Then if a sort by the 'Original Date' on the Mac is desired it will not happen unless the Created date file settings is changed for each photo copied to the Mac Desktop.
    How can photos in iPhoto be copied to the Mac Desktop with the 'Original Date' used in the Mac file 'Created' date field?

    when a copy is made of a photo in iPhoto and then 'Paste Item(s)' is made to the Mac desktop all the files dates default to the iPhoto 'Modified' date not the iPhoto 'Original Date'
    Where are you seeing this date?  In the Info window for the file with the Finder?  That's to be expected because those dates are the file dates, not the EXIF photo created and modified dates which can't be view by the Finder.  You will need to use a 3rd party EXIF view like  EXIF Viewer for Mac OS X .
    So don't confuse the EXIF date(s) with the file dates.

  • Data in RSA3 does not match data in PSA

    We recently added a new field (character 40) to our 0customer_attr extractor and are populating it in a user exit. When we execute the extractor in RSA3, the field is populated correctly. However, when we run an actual extraction to BW, the data in this field is not transferred to the PSA correctly. The PSA field is also a character 40 field. In some cases the data in this field is truncated, only the first 12 characters are transferred. At other times only the second half of the field is transferred into the PSA. It is as if something is out of synch between the extract structure and the PSA.
    I have replicated the datasource several times and have also reactivated the transfer rules several times. I also tried removing the field from the tranfer structure and reactivating the transfer rules and then readded the field and reactivated. I am not certain what else to try.
    Thanks for any help.

    Put a break point in the user exit and load the particular record which is getting truncated and see what is actually happening. And once again make sure the field in both BI and R3 is identical in length and type.
    thanks.

  • Second s5 update has made wifi and data run simutaniously, being charged for data only way to turn off Data is to go to settings. I had same issue with my other phone. Recieved two replacement phones the SIM card did not work on replacements took phone ba

    Wifi and Data running simultaneously. Data was being charged to my account even though I was on WIFI. No one can fix the issue. I have wasted 8 hours of my life and went and returned my phone and got a new one yet after the last update I now have WIFI and Data showing that they are running simultaneously.  I have looked at numerous message boards and turned off Caller ID don't have Volte on my phone but do get an error with Visual Voice Mail. I don't want any of these services, you are not helping your customers Verizon or Samsung with forcing us to update. I tried not to update my NEW phone that I had to get from Costco because of this exact same stupid issue happen on my last one. But every time I said NO to update the next time I did anything on the phone the UPDATE would pop up again. I would say NO it would come back. I was doing a text and it came up and I hit update not wanting to and then my phone began updating on a low battery. I had to rush to put on charge and then my WIFI and Data came back on together with arrows on all going up and down. I HATE the lack of support I get from SAMSUNG and VERIZON... Verizon washes their hands and say these are not Updates even though these are the features we have on all our phones like Visual Voice Mail and Volte...

    I did look at the Settings/Cellular to check the applications.  This is one of the steps I did with the person from Verizon who was an "iPhone Specialist".  And he didn't see anything unusual.  And I can honestly tell you they have very minimal number of apps on their phones.
    When I went to the Apple Store the first time with this problem, they had me update the phones iOS systems to see if this would correct the problem.  They were each running older versions but different versions.  One son had one update to do and the other had a couple of updates needed.  So, the problem started before they were updated and they weren't even on the same update.  And nothing changed after we did the updates.
    I didn't reboot the router and modem, because I'm not having any other issues with my phone, my husband's phone, our iPad, xbox, PS3, or laptops.  Would the wifi only affect their phones?

  • Data in 0FIGL_V10_Q0001 does not match data in ERP report S_PL0_86000028

    Hi All,
    after using the sdn passively for some time, this is my first posting.
    We compare data in the mentioned ERP (SAP ECC 6.0) report with the data from the BI-query. Strangely they don't match in many cases: the value on the nodes ASSETS, LIABILITIES and APPENDIX match exactly. But especially regarding the P&L-node big variances occur.
    On strange pehomen occurs regarding the "revenue"-accounts: the accounts which do not match, vary exactly by the same amount  (in our case 20,500,000 per each). The selection is the same (currency type, period/fiscal year, Balance Sheet & P&L-structure, CompCode, Ledger 0L)
    Finally: The considered time periods do not overlap. And the master data for 0GL_ACCOUNT and 0FUNC_AREA has just be updated. Also the hierarchies for 0GLACCEXT have been transfered from ERP again. The data has been updated to 0FIGL_C10 using delta mode.
    This behavior can be observed using the Content Cubes  & Query (V10, C10) as well as our copies (ZFIGL_C10, ZFIGL_V10). The Z-copies use a copied version of the function module with the correclty changed input-parameter for the cube C10. The query has not been modified in any way.
    Systems:
    ECC6.0
    BI7.0 SP17
    BI CONTENT 7.03 SP6
    Thanks a lot for any input,
    Best Regards,

    Hi Simon,
    to clear things up: the 0FIGL_C10 is the content containg new general ledger transaction data. the 0FIGL_V10 is a virtual cube based on a function module. The source cube for this function module is 0FIGL_C10. The 0FIGL_V10 has only been created by SAP for queries regarding the balance sheet and P&L, since the function module will handle the correct placement of accounts & nodes depending in the query 0FIGL_V10_Q0001 on their balance value.
    The data in C10 has been checked in the meanwhile and matches exactly in the ERP. The data in V10 matches exactly regarding the nodes ASSETS, LIABILITIES and APPENDIX. The other nodes, esp. P&L do not match. Some of the revenue accounts assigned to revenues show a "systematically" higher variance in BI compared to ERP. Those nodes vary by exactly the same amount each (20 Mio. Euro per account), although C10 shows the correct values.
    We discovered the OSS note 1233874, too, and it has just been implemented. Will check right now.
    Thanks for any input,
    Manuel

  • "Save As" is saving the date years back.. not current date..??

    I just upgraded to Elements 10 and I've found this problem...
    When I create a scrapbook page and and go to save it as "Save As" for both my PSD & JPG files, it is saving the file date that my background layer was added to my Elements Organizer, no the actual date that I created the page.
    Example:  I created a page last night, I named "JFK.jpg".  When I got to Explorer to upload to Shutterfly and look for the file with details, it shows: JFK.jpg  1709kb    JPEG Fomat    03/28/2008 7:24AM
    I always sort by date to find my most recent pages and this is driving me crazy!!  Please help!  Any Suggestions???

    Two possibilities.
    First create a formula that will give you the date as a text cell.
    If you dates are in the B column then you could add
    =TEXT(B1;"YYYY-MM-DD")
    in the C column. This will then export correctly for you.
    This way means moving columns around of course.
    Second - the format of the data is controlled by your global language settings.
    Tools > Options > Language Settings > Language
    Use the Local Settings drop down to select a local that gives your the format you need. It is a thought any way.

  • Date Picker Error when not valid date

    I have a field with a date picker. I have an inline validation of type pl/sql error that checks to see that the user actually entered a valid date
    l_date := todate(:P1_MYDATE, '&PICK_DATE_FORMAT_MASK.');
    Works fine, except, next to the field (between the field and the date picker) I get this "junk"
    Unable to cast value "03/35/2004" to date format mask PICK_DATE_USING_FLOW_FORMAT_MASK
    This is pretty ugly, especially as I am already telling them they made a mistake.
    Would you like me to log a bug?
    Also . . . it would be great to have a built in validation for dates. Any thoughts there? Perhaps an enhancement request?
    Thanks,
    a-

    Anton,
    This is definitely pretty ugly and should be handled more gracefully. As it stands now, there is no way to suppress this automatic casting to a date value.
    You can work around it by clearing session state for that item if the validation fails. You could do this in a validation of type Function Returning Boolean with:
    declare
    l_date date;
    begin
    l_date := to_date(:P1_MYDATE,'&PICK_DATE_FORMAT_MASTK.');
    return true;
    exception
    when others then
    :P1_MYDATE := NULL;
    return false;
    end;
    The idea for a built-in validation for dates is a great one. HTML DB has all the information (what type of date picker, any format masks, NLS settings) to determine the validity of a date value.

  • Acquiring data only once while generating other data continously

    Hello,
    I am using Labview 2009 on windows 7 PC and I am using NI USB6009 for my application.
    In my vi I want to generate ramp voltage continously which I can in my current vi. But while doing this I will be connecting relay contact to other digital input. I want to store the generated ramp voltage at the instance when the relay closes its contact which I will know as it is connected to the digital input. The contact is going to remain closed for a while but the instance at which is closes is of value to me. I tried various things using case structures or even parallel while loops. but unfortunately I am not so much acquainted with event structures so I couldn't achieve what I wanted. Please help me out.

     You need the PtByPt_BooleanCrossing function, a shift register and a select node…

  • Process Chain : Read PSA and Update Data Target in BI 7.0

    Hello Experts,
    In my Process Chain I have a variant Execute Infopackage to load the data only into PSA. then I have next variant as *Read PSA and Update Data Target*. my data target was a Master Data table Hierarchy
    In the variant " Read PSA and Update Data Target". the selection Parameters were
    PSA.Table : 0GLACCEXT_T011_HIER_BA1
    Selection Object Type : same Infopackage in Varaint Execute Infopackage
    the Error message was Variant doesnot contain a valid combination request/data target
    I checked the PSA-Table using RSA1OLD Transaction then I find four PSA Tables:
    0GLACCEXT_T011_HIER_BA1
    0GLACCEXT_T011_HIER_BA2
    0GLACCEXT_T011_HIER_BA3
    0GLACCEXT_T011_HIER_BA4
    All the requests are linked to PSA Table *0GLACCEXT_T011_HIER_BA4*.
    I can't understand why there exists four PSA Tables?
    I try to link the PSA-table 0GLACCEXT_T011_HIER_BA4 in the variant *Read PSA and Update Data Target and try to save it it raises short dump.
    If I select 0GLACCEXT_T011_HIER_BA1 in the varaint I shouldn't face any problems.?
    but the process chain raises an Error message Variant doesnot contain a valid combination request/data target with this variant.
    How shall I handle this issue?
    Please carify me the issues as soon as possible.
    thanks in advance
    Regards
    sailekha

    Hello,
    In the Variant Read PSA and Update Data Target I have to select  the PSA Tabelle Name from the preselection list in the System it shows me all the four PSA Tables that I mentioned.
    I can select any one of them. So I trieed with all the four PSA Tables in the list but I can selct only the XXXX......BA1 table  then only I can save and  include it in the PC. If I select the remaining tables BA2, BA3, BA4.........while I try to save the Variant it raises short dump.
    I checked the PSA using the Transaction  RSA1OLD under PSA...... I find 4 PSA Tables( I don't know whether they are PSA Tables or not but in the Variant it states that they are PSA Tables) in which all the requests are attached to BA4. only.
    I observed that ony for Hierarchies I find four PSA tables for remaining one only one PSA table was available.
    I totally confused how to handle this situation. any suggestions......... please help me to resolve this problem.
    Thanks & Regards
