0IC_C03 Inventory Control Data Issue

Dear Gurus,
We have implemented BI 7.0 with the latest support package as of 1st May 2011. Issues are coming relavent to 0IC_C03 infocube for inventory control. I have followed the how to guideline but issues are there.
I have done the following settings:
1:To fill up the extractor for 2LIS_3_BX i have used the Transaction MCNB (All Stock Including non-valuated).
2: To fill up the extractor for 2LIS_3_BF i have used the Transaction OLI1BW (Posting Date till 2999).
3: To fill up the extractor for 2LIS_3_UM i have used the Transaction OLIZBW (Posting Date till 2999).
4: To generate the IP for 2LIS_3_BX for the opening stock balances the update mode CREATE OPENING BALANCE is not showing so i have used the update mode Generate Initial Status.
5: After running the IP for 2LIS_3_BX i run the DTP with extraction Mode "Initialize non commulative".
6: In the infocube Manage for 0IC_C03 i go in the collapse tab and enter the 2LIS_3_BX Request ID and uncheck the "NON Marker Update" to compress the request.
7: I generate the IP & DTP for both 2LIS_3_BF & Then 2LIS_3_UM and compress both the requests in the cube by the checking the "NON MArker Update"
8: When i run the query the data is not coming out right. Some records have negative values and some have wrong values.
Kindly tell me what to do.
Also, ive seen people using 2LIS_3_BF & UM only but not BX. How will this solution be implemented?

Dear Guru,
As off now here are the issues:
Quantity Total Stock is matching the stock in ECC 6.0 in transaction MB5B. The issue lies with the Issue Quantity Total Stock
& Receipt Quantity Total Stock. The values are not showing accurately but the new balance per posting date are showing accurately.
For e.g. Cube: 0IC_C03

As you can see the issue & reciept docs are different but the impact on quantity total stock is fine. On top of that the material documents showing in PSA are slightly more than actual showing in MB5B & MB51. Some material documents are showing as a debit entry as well as credit entry in PSA but in reality they have a debit entry or a credit one. Kindly give me a feedback.

Hi Denis, you need to have the parent object in the counted item list. That means it is necessary to count the HU with parent object as Storage Bin and then you can count HU content with the parent object as HU.
When I deleted the parent object I was able to simulate your error:

When you enter a goods movement, you must always enter the movement
type. The movement type has important control functions in Inventor
Management. It is essential for
o updating the quantity fields
o updating the stock and consumption accounts
o selection of the fields used for entering documents
o printing goods receipt/issue slips
Below you will find a short description of the standard movement types.
The reversal movement type is the movement type + 1 (reversal of 101 =
102).
101 Goods receipt for purchase order or order
If the purchase order or order has not been assigned
a stock type (unrestricted-use stock, stock in qualit
blocked stock) can be entered during goods receipt.
131 Goods receipt for run schedule header
This movement type cannot be entered manually. It is generated
automatically at notification of goods receipt for a run schedule
header.
261 Goods issue for an order
This refers to all withdrawals for orders
The goods issue can be posted manually in Inventory Management or
automatically when an order is confirmed or via a delivery in
Shipping.
351 Goods issue for a stock transport order (without Shipping)

Stock initialization by BX datasource is used to store the sttock as on Setuptable filling table(setup table for BX DS) time and date.
This upload is one time process.There are no delta loads with this DS.

i am trying to create a transfer order from delivery. the moment i click on save in LT03 its giving me the error message as
Control data for storage type is missing
Message no. L3006
i have explored every thread regarding the same issue and also implemented some measures like
-> extending the material to particular warehouse and maintaining stock removal and stock placement strategies in it(i created new one from MM01 itself)
-> going to spro path SPRO->Logistics Execution->shipping->picking->Lean WM->Define storage type. and assigned storage type.
but still i am getting the same message in LT03
can you please help me out on this.

if you run this programe after loading data - RSDG_CUBE_VALT_MODIFY it is updating.
2. I am not getting no marker update option in non-cumulative Info cube 0ic_c03 manage tab or in DTP tabs check as per 7.4 modifications?
and 2LIS_03_BX in DTP I am getting below this option only

0IC_C03 info cube loading issue

Hi,
While loading the 0IC_C03 (Inventory) info cube from 2LIS_03_BF
extractor job is taking long time, even while loading upto PSA and also
while loading the data from PSA to info cube through DTP.
When i checked the same with other two extractors it was working fine
i.e., 2LIS_03_BX and 2LIS_03_UM. I have checked in the process monitor
in SM50 in BI it was showing ACTION: Direct Read TABLE: NRIV.

Ouuupsss, you must be on the interval definition.
Execute the SNRO transaction
Enter your number range ID
Modify the definition of your number range (the pen )
Menu Goto
Buffer
Memory
Then there is a new field that that should be displayed. Something like "Buffer size". 500 is a good start (not too small, not too big).

Error in SECATT - ATT 377 Control data is obsolete, rerecord (&1&2&3)

Hello,
I get an error while running a TCD REC secatt, in the log of the test configuration , there are red errors "ATT 377 Control data is obsolete, rerecord (&1&2&3)", although the secatt was sucessfully done (meaning i should get green light...).
I've implemented Note #965439, in order to solve this error.
but the error still occurs.
Any ideas...?

Hello experts,
To create factory calendar holiday(t-code SCAL), I use t-code secatt for the purpose.
But when running the test configuration script, I face the following error
Error in eCATT command TCD SCAL
Message no. ECATT507
Control data is obsolete, rerecord (VERBS-NAME: CreateObject CATT: <none> Callno: 000001)
Message no. TT377
I use a tab separated text file with numbering of records.
I read on this forum some topics about the error but it doesn't solve the issue.
Please suggest what should be done to avoid this error

How to post material master legal control data (Foreign trade export view)?

Dear Gurus,
Currently we have an external application which posts material master data into SAP using MATMAS IDOC through JCO. Now we have a requirement wherein we need to post legal control data ( especially ALNUM field) beisdes the regular views. MATMAS Idoc do not have a provision to post this specific field ALNUM ( Export control class).
Can you please suggest how to post this field value in to SAP. Do we need to use any other IDOC or RFM/BAPI as we do with classification view. In that case can you please suggest those relevant APIs.

Hello. Is there a way to tie inventory into bookings, either with the catalog or web apps? Or is there a way to create a couple of bookings into one form?

Inventory Control Solution

Our group has a small lab (networking, servers, other odds and ends) as well as a small equipment closet with general test gear (network analysis, spectrum analyzer, some installation gear, etc.). Unfortunatley items frequently go missing, either someone has them on a job or took them out and didn't replace them when finished.
I'm looking for simple methods you may have used for inventory control. At minimum it should note the equipment status (available, checked out, unavailable/broken), the date it was checked out and planned to be returned, and the person checking it out. Ideally it would also allow a "witness" or a controlling authority who would either authorize or witness the check-out. Historical information on check-out/in would be nice but not a requirement at this time. May be a future need.
Ideal future capabilities would include ability to include photos of equipment; record various information such as serial numbers, included accessories; state of condition/repair of main item and accessories; and other information that would assist in managing and maintaining lab equipment.
Has anyone used available (commercial or free) software, or developed a good internal spreadsheet or database for this function? What are your recommendations or experiences? Appreciate any feedback.

I've built systems like this in the past, with any custom solution the devil is in the details, it depends on what you want to do and what you expect. As Liam has pointed out the API is your best friend here, you can develop something that pulls data from BC and puts it where you need.
If you try to do everything at once (all those sites listed) you might find you have problems, I would start with one site first, make any changes you need there and roll out to the other platforms.

QM Master data issue

Dear all,
We want to begin using the INPUT PROCEDURE addin in our QM module, we already have customized this addin but now we are facing a master data issue, that is, when we update the inspection characteristics master data, the actual inspection plans do not take this changes into account.
My first question is: Is there any way to force the actual inspection plans to be updated with the actual inspections characteristics parameters ?
In particular, we want to force the option 'Input processing' in the control indicator, and the Input processing value in the Quant. Data.
Alternatively, is there any way to mass update this informations directly at inspection plan-characteristic level ?

I followed this steps, actually already had the 'Replace master insp. characteristics' indicator set, however, when I do changes in a MIC, either creating a new version or not, the system does not show the list of where used plans.
Maybe is there further customizations ?

How to modify changes of table control data in PAI

I have a table control where the columns are brought by dict fields.I am able to bring data into table control through an itab.
Now what i want is whenever user edits data in table control and clicks on save button the corresponding changes should be made in database.
For this according to my understanding we need to (in PAI) modify the changes in itab from the table control and then in SY-UCOMM of SAVE button we need to update in database table using itab.
For this , I am not able to write code for modifying the changes in itab from table control. Here is my code below.Please tell me how to do this.

Data Issue

Hi All ..
           We are facing one data issue DSO. One record is worngly loaded with some project iD ( Ex record is having ID GE1234 insted of having LE4423) remaining details are same . we are loading the data furtherly to master data table from the DSO. if i try for reporting for project id LE4423 ,information not avilable because it is heaving wrong ID,it is key also.But in the Source system (CFG) side Data is correct with ID LE4423.
         In update rule we are following one to one mapping for all infoobjects.My requirement is i need to have in my DSo LE4423 . I need to overwrite the record id GE1234 with LE4423 without affecting other fields in the record.
        Shall i load till PSA with the ID LE4423 ..then if load this single record to DSO will overwrite the GE1234 by choosing other field as key field. but we are following one to one mapping in update rule.
Please help me on this. i need to hev a correct id for record.

You can use selective deletion to delete the record with Project ID = GE1234
Load the data till PSA
Load the data to DSO using selection Project ID = LE4423 in DTP from PSA.
check in further data targets also for mismatch of data

I am handling UK Payroll and got an issues related to payroll run and control record,
Issue 1: The payroll driver (RPCALCG0) has skipped around 1500 Employees against payroll run for particular period
Issue 2: How control record allowed user to Exit control record for period in which EE's skipped in payroll
Please provide your valuable suggesting in regard to resolve the above two issues,

Say you want to run payroll for FEB..
But payroll control record may not be in FEB... It may be in March..
Issue 2: How control record allowed user to Exit control record for period in which EE's skipped in payroll
Payroll control record may have been deleted on the month of Jan..& been set in Release mode in March month directly...
So feb month gets skipped & Exit mode in Feb is skipped too...
For detailed info.. Go to PA03 enter payroll ares & click display option..
Under Go To tab.. look for Control Record Log..
