    I need kelp, Illustrator CC2014 crashes at launch on Mac OS X Yosemite (10.10.1), I've updated Java and it still crash.
    Then I moved to a different carpet plugin files that look like this and didn't worked.

    I have no idea about the second part of your question but as for Java you need to install the Apple Java for OSX 2014-001. Look for it on the Apple site.

  • Illustrator CC2014 Error message "Alcid.dll is missing from your computer. etc."

    I have been experiencing a problem with Illustrator CC2014. This occurs after I get out of Illustrator and then attempt to open the software up the next morning. I get the following message; "The program can't start because Alcid.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix the problem."  Uninstalling and reinstalling fixes the problem initially but then it reoccurs every time I restart the computer.

    You have a permissions problem and your changes to your computer don't stick or Windows System Restore is interfering. Impossible to tell without more info.

    Je viens d'acheter (SOftBuy) 2 licence à vie pour Adobe Illustrator CC2014 et Adobe Indesign Cc2014 mais continu à avoir un message (fenêtre d'invite) m'inviant à soit : "Activer la licence du logiciel", soit : "Poursuivre l'évaluation". Est(-ce normal ? Ce n'est plus une évaluation puisque c'est à vie ? Par ailleurs, si j'essaie d'activer la licence du logiciel, je n'ai pas de code à saisir et je sui à nouveau dans une impasse.

    Are you saving with Create PDF Compatible File ticked, or are you using Save As and then PDF?
    I hope the former.

  • Guías inteligentes no alinean realmente los rectángulos -Illustrator CC2014

    Estoy probando la nueva versión de Illustrator CC2014 y todo bien excepto con los nuevos cuadros delimitadores de la herramienta rectángulo, ya que si quiero alinear dos rectángulos  con las mismas características valiendome de las guías inteligentes, estas no me alinean realmente, cuan cuando me marcan que eh llegado al punto de alineación de la figura que tengo de referencia, ya que al hacer zoom claramente se ve que no las alineo de verdad, cabe mencionar que no tengo activada la opción de alinear con cuadricula de pixeles, y ademas esto no sucede con otras herramientas como elipse o polígono, solo con rectángulo y rectángulo redondeado, ejemplos:
    PD,ya restaure preferencias, y reinstale el programa y el problema persiste

    Lo que no consigo al seleccionar un objeto y arrastrarlo es que me indique en ese pequeño recuadro gris, el ancho y alt, sino que muestra el desplazamiento dX y dY de la selección.
    Por lo demás, no puedo replicar tu problema.
    Entiendo que no has hecho ningun cambio en las Preferencias?

    Je possède un abonnement à Créative Cloud
    MA QUESTION : Anciennement dans Illustrator CS2 après avoir IMPORTÉ une image Tiff il fallait cliquer sur INCORPORER afin que le fichier soit enregistré dans le dossier.
    Dans la version CC2014 je ne parviens pas à trouver la façon d'enregistrer un fichier Tiff importé.  Pouvez-vous m'indiquer la marche à suivre.

  • Illustrator CC2014.1 使用中に頻繁に落ちてしまう.

    NEW MAC Pro（3.5 GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon E5）を使用しています。
    64GBのメモリを積んでいるのにもかかわらず、
    使用中に頻繁に落ちてしまうために大変困っています。
    解決方法はあるのでしょうか？

    特に文字編集（コピペ、入力、前面ペーストなど）の際に頻発（10回に１回程度）します。
    文字の編集は頻繁なので、作業できる状況ではありません。
    それまではほとんどなかったのに、
    Illustrator CC2014.1にアップデートしたタイミングで頻発するようになる。
    悪さをしているフォントがあるのかな？
    アドビさん、解決方法はありますか？
    ちなみに、Suitcase Fusion 5は使ってません。
    ・iMac 27-inch, Late 2012
    ・プロセッサ  3.4 GHz Intel Core i7
    ・メモリ  32 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
    ・OS X 10.9.5

  • Update fehlgeschlagen Illustrator CC2014

    Ich habe ein Problem der besonderen Art. Alle Programme der Cloud ließen sich updaten, Photoshop CC 2014 etc. doch einzig und allein Illustrator CC2014 zeigt andauernd die Meldung "Update fehlgeschlagen" - Die heruntergeladenen Dateien konnten nicht extrahiert werden. Klicken Sie auf "Wiederholen", um den Download zu wiederholen (U44M1I210).
    Mein Betriebssystem ist Windows 7 und wie gesagt alle Creativ Cloud Programme lassen sich updaten nur der Illustrator nicht. Ich versuche es schon tagelang mit wiederholtem Updaten und so hoffe ich, dass mir jemand einen Tipp geben kann, wie ich das Update vollenden könnte.

    Die Frage warum diese Bugs nicht behoben werden und man so wenig darüber im Internet findet, hat mich auf die Lösung gebracht. Etwas das mein Rechner zu einem von wenigen macht, ist die Verwendung von Schwiezerdeutsch als Systemsprache. Das ist zwar super cool nicht mehr als Minderheit diskriminiert zu werden (Danke Apple) allerdings brachte es mir auch all die unschönen "glitches".
    Zum anderen gestrandeten zu Helfen, hier nochmals die mühsamsten Probleme unter denen ich lit:
    Command + H, Command + T, Command + Q funktionierten nicht mehr in Safari & FontExplorer
    Command + Delet, Space,... funktionierten nicht mehr in Photoshop
    Illustrator crashte beim starten
    Enter, Cursor Tasten und Tab im Speicherungsdialog liessen Photoshop, Keynote abstürzen

  • Illustrator cc2014 open dialog box won't work yosemite

    I have a Macbook Pro Retina 2014 with a fresh install of Yosemite and Creative Cloud, after a while, when I used the open dialog box for 4 or 5 times to open documents, that dialog box won't work anymore, I have to quit and reopen the Illustrator application, the shortcut won't work either. Is anybody got that problem before?
    When I was on Mountain Lion, I never got this problem, I presume it's related to Yosemite.

    I believe it is a bug in CC2014, appearing when you have the Illustrator open/place dialogue set to column view and sort by date or sort by kind. You may change it to view by name or list view.

  • Illustrator CC2014 and Update Creative Cloud Desktop App

    Hi,
    I am using the Creative Cloud Student edition on Windows 8.1. Right now I have some problems with Illustrator and the Desktop App itself, however I absolutely need it to work right now for University. I try to explain the problem as clear as I can, I hope you can help me!
    First, the problem I have with Illustrator: I installed the newest version (CC2014) a couple of weeks ago. It all worked fine at first. After some time, when opening the application, I got a message saying it can't be opened and that I should go to the .exe file and operate it as Administrator. When I clicked okay, Illustrator opened without me doing what I was told.. This kept going on for a couple of days until now. I cannot open it anymore, a message appears saying: The localized source files for this application could not be loaded. Fix this application or reinstall. Then try again. .The problem is, I cannot fix or reinstall the application, I can't even uninstall it (It says there were problems and not everything was uninstalled..) Now I don't know what to do?
    Second, I cannot update my creative cloud desktop app. It says: Creative Cloud desktop could not be updated. Error Code: 50. I have searched for that error code, but could not find any explanation.
    I would be very happy for your help!

  • Illustrator CC2014 won't reopen file just recently edited and closed. "Illustrator cannot open file" message.

    Windows 7 Home Premium, Dell XPS desktop.  First problems with AI in a LONG time.  Used to be able to go to the control panel for programs and "repair" the installation, now can only un-install.
    This file is originally from a previous version of AI, opened it in CC2014 and edited, nothing extensive, just text updates, and after closing, it won't open again.  And the program crashed.  After a re-start of the computer, I could open a different file, but not the "problem" file. After re-doing the edits on another (even earlier) copy of the source file, the same thing happened.  I can place the file in InDesign, and export to pdf, which views fine.  I plan to try to edit the InD pdf in Illustrator, to see what happens.
    Otherwise the computer seems to be fine, all other apps seem stable.  So far.

    The file size is the same as the previous version.  I placed the AI file into InD, made a pdf, and can open and edit that pdf in Illustrator.  If I could get the "bad" file to open, I would save as to a new file, see if that would help, but since it won't open....  Just weird.  I should have what I need now, so I don't plan to spend any more time on it.  Thanks for thinking about it.  I just hope I don't end up eventually having to uninstall/re-download and re-install Illustrator!
    The only image is embedded, no link.  I don't have any non-standard plug-ins.  I will keep in mind about the preferences, but why only this 1 file having a problem with them?  I did install some fonts for another job while also working on this; I will keep that in mind, too.

    Entiendo que tenías instalada la version de Ai CC, funcionando, y has instalado esta versión y te da ese problema. La otra versión sigue instalada y podrás comprobar que funciona. Puedes detallar que modelo de tarjeta gráfica usa el equipo?
    Lo mas probable es que debas reinstalar el programa, se ha abierto y funcionado alguna vez? (Porque veo la barra de herramientas doble) Si es así. prueba a reiniciar el programa teniendo pulsadas las teclas Ctrl+Alt+may para restaurar las Prefrencias. Si no se resuelve el problema, tendras que volver a instalarlo pr si eso fuera la causa del problema:
    Abre otro programa CC 2014 que tengas instalado, en el menú de Ayuda> Salir de Sesión (sign-off) te informará de toda una serie de aplicaciones que se van a desactivar. Acepta.
    En panle de Control, desinstala el programa, reinicia windows y vuelve a instalarlo.

  • I cannot save my work in Illustrator CC2014.1 due to an 'unknown error'. Any ideas on a solution?

    I have produced some work in illustrator and wanting to save before I proceed but Illustrator will not allow me due to an unknown error. I have tried some ideas posted on the web (turning off the visibility of layers, saving as an EPS) but to no avail. I have tried resetting my preferences and turning off sync settings but again no luck. Is anyone else experiencing this and anyone have any ideas on a solution?

    Thanks for the idea.
    Tried that, (tried all the Save As options) and the same 'unknown error' occurs. I have tried saving as an Illustrator EPS and a different alert comes up as 'Cannot Save. A necessary item is missing: ID: 192'. No idea what the necessary item is? Mithril? Gold?

    and the next day it's doing it again

    Had same problem. I had the Wacom Inkling installed. You will need to remove that, or any other third party plug-ins and restart illustrator. Found this:
    Solution
    In the Finder, browse to the folder that contains Illustrator plug-ins.
    Move all third-party plug-ins to a different folder.
    (Important) Press and hold Command + Option + Shift, launch Illustrator, and keep the keys pressed until Illustrator launches. This step clears all Illustrator preferences.
    Caution:It's necessary to press the keyboard combination (Command + Option + Shift) in the same order as mentioned above.
    (Optional) If you require your third-party plug-ins when you use Illustrator, try adding one plug-in at a time. Each time you add a plug-in, ensure that you follow step 3 to start Illustrator.
