For Infoobject 0MATERIAL I am maintaining both attribute and text. I am able to load text into 0MATERIAL successfully.
But, when I am trying to load datasource 0MATERIAL_ATTR, I am getting error
'DataSource 0MATERIAL_ATTR(ECCCLNT711) must be activated,
Message no. RSDS179
'Invalid DataStore object name /BIC/B0000039: Reason: No valid entry in table RSTS'
Message no. RSM1294
I checked ECC 711, 0MATERIAL_ATTR is active. I am even able to see data in 0MATERIAL_ATTR in Tcode RSA3.
Please tell me what to do. It will be a great help.

Enhanced 0MATERIAL_ATTR-Extractor: Data in R/3-RSA3 but not in BW-PSA

Hi,
we enhanced our 0MATERIAL_ATTR- DataSource with a "new" Z-field.
I checkt the DataSource with RSA3 and everything seemed to be fine (right data in Z-Field).
I loaded one record to BW and this new Z-Field is empty (I expected data!).
I allready:
- activated everything on BW
- deleted Source System Assignment and assigned it new
- Replicated the Data Source (twice)
- checked Transfer Rules
- checked the assignment of the z-field (Type is Ok, it is assigned)
- searced with google and in this forum.
Monitor shows green light on DataLoading (no errors)
ST22 shows no shortdump (BW and R/3)
System BW 3.5
Why can i see data on RSA3 and BW can´t load values for this new Z-Field?

To delete all MD: This is not possible!

Error while activating transfer structure for 0MATERIAL_ATTR

I am trying to activate the transfer rules of 0MATERIAL_ATTR, but when activating the process end with the following message:
Error generating program
Message no. RSAR245
Diagnosis
An error occurred in the program generation:
Program / Template:   RSTMPL80
Error code / Action: 6
Row:        1,792
Message:    The data object "P_S_COMM" has no component called
I cannot activate the transfer rules of 0MATERIAL_ATTR and 0MATERIAL_TEXT because of the same problem. Could anyone please help me...

Transporting 0material_attr gives reference source system error...

Hi Experts,
I know its not recommended but for some reasons we were trying to move 0material_attr data source and transfer rules and transfer structure 0material_attr_ba from quality system (QAS) to Development system. And every time we are getting the error "Source system QAS does not exist" while importing the request in DEV.
The reason for this error is that it is still keeping the reference source system of quality as QAS which is not there as logical system in DEV. My question is isn't it should automatically refer to R/3 DEV when imported to development system.

Hi,
As pointed out by Joke in the previous post, you need to maintain the mapping of logical system name for transportation.
In Dev, go to RSA1> Tools--> Conversion of logical system names.
Here create new entries.
Your Original Source System would be the QAS Logical System Name & Target Source System would be DEV Logical System Name.
Once entry is saved, re-import the transport request and check.

Unable to load data in 0material_attr

Hi Guys,
I have migrated datasource 0material_attr to 7.0.
I execute the infopackage to load the data in PSA and get the data eg. 50 materials loaded
The problem is while executing the DTP, I get the follwoing error for all the 50 materials.
The data record 1 (material number) : version (material number) is not valid
The data record 50 (material number) : version (material number) is not valid

Try running transaction OMSL in BI and in source system. Please refer to SAP note number 555675 for further details.

Enhancing 0MATERIAL_ATTR?Writing Start routine in Transfr rules in BW side?

Hi All,
I got a requirement of enhancing the 0MATERIAL_ATTR extract structure with 10 fields.
The logic is written in R3 extraction User exit ZXRSAU02 for populating the data from MARA table.
In the BW side also, the corresponding objects created & mapped in Communication & Transfer structure, the update rules also activated for 0MATERIAL_ATTR.
Details:
The DS is: 0MATERIAL_ATTR
ES is: BIW_MARA_S
Table is: MARA
Enhanced fields in ES are: like ZR, ZR1, ZR2 to ZR9.
BW Objects created are: like ZB, ZB1, ZB2 to ZB9.
I need help in writing start routine in transfer rules:
The below logic needs to be included in the start routine -
--->" If the following fields in extractor are all blank then populate them all with the value in ZR, ZR1, ZR2 to ZR9.
---> If the above are not all blank then don't modify. These will update as per the Transfer rules."
Please help in writing the code for the Logic mentioned above.

In the start routine
data wa_datapak type TRANSFER_STRUCTURE .
data l_tabix like sy-tabix.
loop at datapak into wa_datapak .
l_tabix = sy-tabix .
if wa_datapak-zr is initial or wa_datapak-zr1 is initial -
wa_datapak-zr9 is initial .
clear : wa_datapak-zr. -- clear : wa_datapak-zr9 .
modify datapack from wa_datapack index l_tabix.
endloop.

Not able to load 0MATERIAL_ATTR in quality server

Hi,
When I am trying to load 0MATERIAL_ATTR datasource in quality server, I am getting error
'Invalid DataStore object name /BIC/B0000039: Reason: No valid entry in table RSTS'
0MATERIAL_ATTR datasource is active in ECC quality.
Does anybody have any idea when entry goes in RSTS table ?
Please help. It's Urgent.
It's working fine in development server though.

RSTS is the transfer structure table. It dont have active version for the respective DSO object
0MATERIAL_ATTR is causing trouble now because the objects related to this same data flow are not transported properly in the last transport

Issue regarding 0MATERIAL_ATTR - Attribute not Updated for Some Materials

Hi All,
As per requirement, I had enhanced 0MATERIAL_ATTR DS with one customer field MRP Controller.
After enhancing 0MATERIAL_ATTR, I had made necessary changes in related objects like 0MATERIAL Info Object & related transformation for this new attribute.
After making changes, when I had done Repair full request for 0MATERIAL_ATTR, newly added attribute had not updated for all material, other attributes were updated correctly but MRP controller had not updated for some records.
I am confused with why attribute(MRP controller) updated in some Materials & for some materials its not updated.
I had checked in PSA, data for this added attribute is come in PSA but not updated in data target (0material).
I had also activated master data by running Attribute change run but still problem persist.

I had write code in CMOD for MRP controller.
As data is coming fine till PSA but its not updated in Data Target (0MATERIAL) .
if I take one example..
For exp Material XYZ has two entries in PSA table, one is updated during delta load & recent one which come though Repair Full request.
Now newly adder attribute MRP controller available in recent request of Repair Full but that is blank in case of prior delta update.
I am confused because MRP controller attribute is updated for some Material but for some material its remain blank.

Source System Error for 0Material_Attr

Hi Gurus,
I have New BI System, when i m loading 0Material_Attr, the whole data is coming but with the status Red. May b the error is with source system. I checked in PSA maintenance and the error detail in source system is mentioned below.
"Value 'A3000014500L ' for characteristic 0MATERIAL is in external format"
"0MATERIAL : Data record 1 ('A3000014500L '): Version 'A3000014500L ' is not valid RSDMD 194".

0Material has conversion Exit MANT1 which converts the Material in the external format to internal format of the system.
Can you please check if the Converison exit is there?

I created a transfer routine on the 0Material_attr upload that needs to populate an attribute called Z_CPFX.
Problem is, I need to look at the material number, material group, and the Material Description, and then populate the result based on what I find.
I am new to using ABAP in these routines, so any help would be appreciated. I will award points.
The error I keep getting is E:Field "TRAN_STRUCTURE-MATNR" unknown.

/BI0/TMATERIAL is the text table for 0material. If you are trying to get all the data from text table, please correct your select statement as below (text table does not contain the attributes. you might need to chenge the selection table to its attribute tables):

I also see that some of your syntaxes are wrong:

in BW Quality System. But We are getting the following error message:

I am loading data for 0material_attr . Although in RSA3 it is extracting 922440 but in PSA it is pulling only 3280 records .
Can you tell me why and how it can be solved ?

In RSA3, it shows all the data in base tables. these are the number records you get if you load full load.
1) check you have any selections in IP, if you are loading full load.
2) If you are loading delta, then you might have only 3280 records which are changed since last delta.

Load Material Data using 0MATERIAL_ATTR

Hello,
I have replicated the DS 0MATERIAL_ATTR from R3 to my BI system.
When I try to create Transfer rules using infosource 0MATERIAL_ATTR it shows the error message "InfoObject 0MATERIAL_ATTR is not available in version D".
I observed that the Infosource 0MATERIAL_ATTR is not 3.x infosource.
Is this problem bcoz the DS 3.x and not the infosource.
How can I fix this?Any help please.

Hi,
Try to find your datasource in transaction rsa1->datasources, and delete it.
The try to replicate it again but when asked how do you want to replicate it, choose in BW 3.x version.
Then you can map it normally in the transfer rules.
