Hi everybody,
Currently i have the following error in the WCM.log file and WSUS synchronization failes as well:
System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException (0x80131904): Cannot open database "SUSDB" requested by the login.
The login failed.~~Login failed for user 'NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICE'.~~ at Microsoft.UpdateServices.Internal.BaseApi.SoapExceptionProcessor.DeserializeAndThrow(SoapException soapException)~~ at Microsoft.UpdateServices.Internal.DatabaseAccess.AdminDataAccessProxy.ExecuteSPGetComponentsWithErrors()~~
at Microsoft.SystemsManagementServer.WSUS.WSUSServer.get_ComponentsWithErrors()
Current environment:
- SCCM 2012 SP1 and WSUS 3 SP2 on the same server.
- WSUS is using the windows internal database.
any advise??

Check these steps.
go to Sql Server Configuration management->SQL Server network config->protocols for 'servername' and check TCP/IP is enabled.
Open SSMS in run, and check you are able to login to server using specfied username/password and/or using windows authentication.
repeat step 1 for SQL native client config also

The error message "Cannot open database "ReportServer" requested by the login. The login failed. Login failed for user 'USER LOGON'" means the user 'USER LOGON' does not have permissions to access the "ReportServer" database.
To fix this issue, please verify that the user has a valid database user login. For more details, please refer to the following steps.
In SQL Server Management Studio, open Object Explorer and expand the Databases folder.
Expand the database in which to create the new database user.
Right-click the Security folder, point to New, and then click User.
On the General page, enter a name for the new user in the User name box.
In the Login name box, enter the name of a SQL Server login to map to the database user.
Click OK.

After successfully shifting the CRM from 2011 to 2013 i found a problem in Reporting section none of the report is working after some finding i conclude that MSCRM_FetchDataSource is not able to connect successfully
Through my report manager i tried to test the connection of MSCRM_FetchDataSource but i got the following error

user 'NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM'.
I already add the NT Authority \ System as a db_owner under my database user of MSCRM_CONFIG
But still no success any one have any idea why it's happaning

I gave the db_owner to 'NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM' and 'NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK' and assigned with both CRM and Config database

Please check the collation of your SQL Server.
It must be SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS (specified like requirement into installation guide).

Hi Anyone can assisting on this. The SCOM 2007r2 i managed suddenly do not pump out alerts.

I would like to suggest you reset the SDK account password (in this case, it seems like that the account is 'scomsdk'). And change the password for the account in service configuration.

Am noticing application event log error that states as the title Cannot open database "ReportingService_4a1e5b9cd6364e8389ed0af69d2628f5_Alerting" requested by the login. The login failed for user "domain\user"
I think a couple weeks ago while troubleshooting something for a new backup appliance we were installing a password was changed on the user that it is displaying...it seems that this has happened before and I had to go into SQL Server Management studio to
update the password but I'm not sure where it is I need to do this.
Any assistance greatly appreciated.DOMAIN\User would refer to a domain user account, and SQL does not store passwords for those accounts. It does store passwords for SQL users. Can you validate the type of account and what level of access it has to that db?

Using ASP with oo4o - cannot open database
I was using ODBC - ADODB in some ASP pages to interact with an Oracle DB (8.17). Everything works fine but large queries get very slow.
I was trying to move to Oracle oo4o but I cannot connect to the DB.
Here's the code (pretty basic)...

I cannot open my iphoto application. The minute I double click on the icon I get the rainbow which spins forever. I've used Applejack to repair the hd, but even that didn't work. I've getting into iphoto preferences..can't. Help!

Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

Try this. This is for CS6 but substitue CC and Bridge 6.
~library/caches/Adobe/Bridge CS6 and inhere should be 2 files:
Adobe Bridge Plug-in Cache
and the folder called Cache. Inhere should be 4 folders called '254', '1024', 'data' and 'full'
All those folders carry the content of the respective quality of the thumbs and preview as well as 100 % cache and Bridge database.
Any way, Since you have not used Bridge you have no relevant amount of cache and I would suggest you quit both PS and Bridge and manual delete both the items (plug in and folder called cache at the end of the Bridge CS6 path mentioned above.
(both files will refresh itself after a restart of Bridge).
To be on the save side also visit in same user library the folder Preferences and look for the file called "com.adobe.bridge5.plist" (yes it is Bridge 5 that comes with CS6, all Adobe apps have their own version number and they are presented in the same Suite version. CS6 has PS version 13 and Bridge version 5 )
also drag this file to the trash.
Then hold down option key (alt) while starting Bridge and this should give you the option to reset the preferences as mentioned earlier in this thread.

Spent all afternoon downloading Java plugiins and Adobe reader; each with the following "failure message."

Sometimes the Windows Installer starts behaving erratically, perhaps due to a backlog of deferred updates, and the only way to get around it is to reboot.

I cannot open a new page from the Firefox favorites menu, it worked before in other versions and this new 5.1 version, but stopped working a few days ago, uninstalled, downloaded a fresh program.. same problem exists. I usually leave my 'Home Page' as a stable page and just open 'new' pages for i.e. Google, Internet Banking etc. the '+' sign on my home page or other loaded pages does not operate, hate having to now constantly sign in to my hotmail home page if and when I open new pages, can you help?
Websites remembering you and automatically log you in is stored in a cookie.
* Create an allow cookie exception (Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: Exceptions) to keep such a cookie, especially for secure websites and if cookies expire when Firefox is closed.
Make sure that you do not run Firefox in Private Browsing mode.

I cannot open my firefox broswer. The message box appeared that said a problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. Under that there are debug and close program buttons.

I am trying to open a service request and the site does not work with ANY browser. I get the page https://getsupport.apple.com/GetParts.action which says "Send in for service. We just need a little more information." The continue button does not work. I've seen this problem before trying to file support requests. It's as if Apple simply does not want you to create requests.
I just went through several screens and had no problems. Try clearing your browser's cache and/or history.

How do I renew a provisioning profile that has expired on my phone? I use an app for the company I work for and I cannot open it because it says the provisioning profile has expired.
i'm not quiet sure atm but should normally work like this:
connect to itunes store -> log out with ur account (upper right corner where ur apple id is displayed) -> sign in with ur wifes apple id -> activate computer (store->activate this computer)
normally it should work this way but ur wife wont be able to use apps or music within itunes library purchased with the other apple id
