0x8605 when user tries to log into Messenger
We have this issue where we have over a thousand users on our GW system, and maybe 4 or 5 cannot log into Instant Messenger - they get an error 0x8605
We are using ver 2.0.4 on groupwise 7.0.3
Any ideas?

I can't see my country name when I tried to log into iTunes Store for first time

Couple of days ago, I successfully registered in iOS Developer Program. All of the process is completed. Today I tried to log into iTunes Strore from my mac. But it asked me "This Apple ID has not been used with the iTuens Store" Please review your account information.

I am not in United Kingdom, so I need to select my country for a valid billing information. But my country name isn't listed there. :-(

FRM-92101 when user tries to log on with invalid password
Hi,
We have the following issue.
When users try to log on to our webforms applications with correct user name and password everything works fine.
When they try to logon and use (by accident) an incorrect password they do not get the expected ORA-1017 invalid username/password; logon denied but a FRM-92101 - There was a failure in the Forms Server during startup ....
Any help is appreciated!B.t.w. the application.log on the Oracle Application Server shows the error text:

I keep getting a message about my security code not being accurate. I tried 3 different cards & have the same issue. Is this a systems issue? I need to get my apps installed on my new iPhone 4. I tried opening itunes today and got the message that I cannot access itunes because it was saved in a newer version.I have been using itunes for 10 years and never gotten this. I cannot restore an earlier version...any suggestions?
Unless you've recently attempted to downgrade iTunes this is probably a sign of a corrupt library file. See Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash.

Safari quits when I try to log into my ebay
Every time I try to log into my ebay sufari quits every time.
It even quit when I tried to log into this forum. I have to use Firefox to log into these sites. What should I do? How do I uninstall safari? Or do I have to do the wintel thing and reinstall my system software? Say it isn't so.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Last week i didn't have this error and i didn't change anything.
I already uninstalled, reinstalled and rebooted but it didn't work.

Please take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried, until the issue is reolved. If there's no resolution after Step 3, post your results.
Step 1
Sign out of iMessage in the Accounts tab of the preferences dialog, then sign back in.
Step 2
Log out of your user account and log back in.
Step 3
Boot in safe mode and test, then reboot as usual and test again.
Note: If FileVault is enabled on some models, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain iMacs. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin. -
I have tried to log into clash of clans on my iPad and it just keeps going to a new game rather than the one saved on my iPhone. I have been using the game centre and same user name and password ?
I have the same problem.. EXACTLY. . When phoning Apple Support they had trouble understanding my problem and couldnt find any type of solution. No one seems to take responsibility for GameCenter issues. The assistant escalated the problem but no one could find an answer. .
The only idea was to set up a new apple id, hence a new GameCenter account. . But that would loose all the itunes data. Anyone got ideas ? -
Will the automatic backups backup the entire disk (even other user accounts), when I'm not logged into those accounts?
I want to be assured that my back up is working completely. What if my MacBookPro auto-logs off my account during the backup due to no activity? Or, is the backup considered activity and it won't log off?

Assuming you mean via Time Machine, yup. It backs up your entire system, including all user accounts (unless you specifically exclude things).

I've never tried it, but the backups run as the "root" user, so will probably continue. If they don't, it's not a problem, as the next backup will "catch up" with all changes.

Not really. If you have the Mac set to shut down at a particular time, that will of course interrupt a backup if one is running. But again, the next backup will catch up. -

If you have not already created an iCloud account elsewhere you cannot do so on PC, and that is the error message you will get. You can create an iCloud account on a Mac or an iOS device and then you should be able to sign into it in the iCloud Control Panel in Windows.

From your comment, it seems that there is some permission issue with that user. As you have checked that user with different system also. Please check that user is added under “Remote Desktop User” local group and also allowed “Allow log on through
Remote Desktop service” permission under group policy. Also please check that when user tries to login it uses “Domainname\Username” format.
In addition for a try, also check by disabling firewall on one particular system.
To add users and groups to the Remote Desktop Users group by using Local Users and Groups snap-in:
1. Click Start > Administrative Tools, Open Computer Management.
2. In the console tree, click the Local Users and Groups node.
3. In the details pane, double-click the Groups folder.
4. Double-click Remote Desktop Users, and then click
Add.
5. In the Select Users dialog box, click Locations to specify the search location.
6. Click Object Types to specify the types of objects you want to search for.
7. Type the name you want to add in the Enter the object names to select (examples) box.
8. Click Check Names.
When the name is located, click OK.

When trying to log into my bank accounts (2), I always get a security Challenge Page even though I have repeatedly checked the box to register my computer as a private computer. When I attempt to get into these same two accounts using Internet Explorer, I skip the Challenge Page and go directly to the Log In page. What settings do I need to change in Firefox so that I don't get the Challenge Page every time?
I have had exactly this problem - Firefox - version 11, but when I updated all my plug-ins (go to Customize Firefox - about halfway down - '''''Check your plugins''''') and restarted Firefox the problem vanished. Hope this helps as this seems to be a fairly large issue.
