1.2 TB showed by CCC on RAID Disks when 800GB data is on it.
i was running a clone of the 800 GB of STORED DATA that i put on a 2 TB striped RAID array (this is on 2 - 2 TB drives in my bay 3 and bay 4 in my mac pro) and when trying to back this up to a 1 TB drive CCC was telling me that there was 1.2 TB of data on the drive so it could not back it up. i emptied the trash and tried again with the same report.
so now i am unchecking all these items that are listed for this RAID array and i am wondering if this is OK and if so why CCC is seeing an extra 400 GB of data.
i mean, I want to REFORMAT these two drives but i want to make sure i have all my data off of it and if CCC sees another 400 GB i am very confused about what this is.

When I pass the variable back to the main report, it does not give me the correct value.
Main Report - This shows master records that have been closed. All this information is in the HEADER of the main report.
Sub Report - This shows associated records to the master along with other information about the associated records and is in the FOOTER of the main report. The subreport is linked with an id# and also filters out any records that were created after the closed date of the master record.
When I pass the variable from the subreport to the main report, is does not maintain the value assigned in the subreport no matter where I put the value on the main report. I believe this is due to the value being calulated in the footer of the main report and trying to evaluate it on the header of the main report.
I tried to have a cumulative total number of associated records and pass the total back to the main report, and this had the same result of not maintaining the value.

ErnestNot sure if I'm following you. I have 4 hard drives installed on my Mac Pro. I had a RAID 5 configured and functional for about 5 months. My battery died on the RAID card. I replaced the battery, seated the RAID card back in the slot I removed it from. When I booted to the USB drive to look in the RAID utility, I could see the battery is charged but my volumes are not showing.
The drives don't show in disk Utility. I built the RAID with the RAID Utility and they did show there. I have a early 2008 Mac Pro, Mavricks OS running Mac Server -
HELP ! Two SATA drives in an external enclosure RAID ZERO. Need data recovery.
What a nightmare ! My neighbor died from esophageal cancer and the funeral is in one week. He left behind a G5 2.5 DP tower with a dead motherboard, and he put the two 640 GB SATA drives in an Other World Computing external enclosure Mercury Elite Pro Dual) weeks before he expired. He got access to these drives in this enclosure. (External RAIDs are a no-no).
His grieving wife wants pictures extracted from the drives. There is no known back up and the G5 tower cannot be found.
When connecting the external enclosure by FW800 or USB3, the need to format flag pops up. Disk Utility shows one 1400 GB drive "unformatted". The DIP switches on the enclosure are set to RAID 0. Several data recovery programs find files, but of course any jpg over 50kb looks like venetian blinds, Tried Data Rescue 3, and the drive depicted as 1280 GB does not divide using expert features and the command key, thus a RAID SET for emulation cannot be formed. What to do now to recover jpg's intact and ASAP ?
1. Try another enclosure ?
2. Insert these drives into my personal G5 tower ?

Turns out that a single external drive was found, so suspect that is the boot drive. In the mean time, am doing an emulated recovery (two sets) using two converter boxes to isolate the two SATA drives, assuming RAID 0 and 32kb striped, The two sets and because the drive order is unknown. The first recovery is almost completed.
BTW, OWC rep stated that the two drives cannot be read in their dual SATA enclosure. The rep stated that the drives would have to be reformatted while in thier enclosure, then use. Tried two enclosures to see if they would read the drives independently, and one brand had a silly interface. One has to put in two "dummy drives" (or ones in which the data is not important) and then convert the electronics (reset switch + power button) to RAID 0. -
BIOS Update / RAID 1 / Windows XP Data Loss Horror - HELP!
I cannot even begin to fathom how this tragedy occured. Upon my initial build of the system in September, everything went flawlessly. Eventually around October I updated the bios from 1.2 to 1.3, then in January to 1.4. The moment I updated the bios to 1.4, windows began showing the onboard mirrored RAID 1 drives as two separate hard drives and I was promted to re-activate windows.
The system functioned fine, but now both hard drives in the RAID 1 were visible under My Computer. The drives seemed to stay the same size so I felt comforatble that it was still mirroring and I wans't too worried - but I didn't watch that very closely. Also interesting is that both the drives indicated that they were shared. When I tried to unshare them, Windows refused saying that the share was only for administrative purposes. The computer was fine for what I'm guessing now is 10 days. On 1/31/05 I ran Sandra tune up wizard and I got a BSOD and a re-start. This surprised me because my system has been phenomenally stable and it never reboots or locks up. So when it re-starts, it promts me to re-start again to finish installing my new hardware (I could not find any new hardware in task manager). I restarted (and boy do I regret that), and upon restarting, the RAID 0 was represented by one drive letter again as it should be.
BUT the entire system lost 10 days woth of complete data! It was like a time warp from 1/31/05 to 1/19/05. All my documents for the 11 days - GONE, all my emails - Gone! I did a system search and there was not one file modified after 1/19/05 on the whole computer. I not prompted for nor did I run any sort of restore program. Freaking out that I lost so much data, I ran R-undelete and easy recovery profesional which were not able to find hide nor hair of my lost files. I am completely stumped by this and I didn't even think somehting like this was possible.
So what do you think happened? Some theories: When both drives became listed, it stopped writing to one drive, when windows realized it was one drive, it (or somehow the onboard hardware realized it was one drive) the drives became rectified to the last time the data coincided - 1/19/05. I don't know about this theory, I'm just guessing.
I really don't have any good theories, just a throbbing headache and a lot of work to make up. Any thoughts or help anyone could offer would be appreciated.Bump - And I see other people reporting problems with Windows Xp seeing two drives in the RAID array after BIOS update!

XP no longer shows up as a startup disk
After upgrading to leopard today, my XP partition no longer shows up as a startup disk.
I had/have my windows partition on it's own drive that was NOT created with bootcamp. I pulled my osx disk from the my mac pro and installed windows on the disk i had in bay 2 using 100% of the disk (ntfs). after installing the bootcamp windows drivers, i reinserted the osx disk and all has been well for the last 4 months,... until the upgrade today that is.
Now, when i go to the 'Startup Disk' preference Windows is no longer an option. the disk still shows up in Finder and I can navigate around the file system.
Anyone have any ideas on how I can get it to show up again? I'd really rather not have to reinstall if i can avoid it.

I have installed MacFUSE and ntfs-3g. I don't know if this is of any relevance, because I don't know if it was working directly before I installed them.
I have my OS X and NTFS volumes on the same physical disk. I also had to install Windows twice because I buggered it up the first time (formatted the partition as FAT32 and ran into a bunch of disk errors).
I also notice that in WinClone I have 2 Untitled Volumes at /dev/disk0s3 and /dev/disk1s1. /dev/disk0s3 seems to be the legit Windows NTFS partition, but I have no idea what /dev/disk1s1 is about. I don't know if it's been there all along or not but perhaps it is confusing matters and stopping the legit Windows volume/installation from being detected...? Should that second volume exist at all? It doesn't exist according to the Disk util.
edit: I used fdisk just to have a look at the two untitled partitions.

I can hold the option key upon startup and manually enter Windows like that, but I'd prefer to be able to restart and boot Windows without having to hold a key.
Apart from not seeing the Windows boot volume in the system prefs pane, Boot Camp (and the rest of Leopard) has been excellent. I am impressed at the level of apple hardware support for windows. It seems to be much better than most native PC hardware.
I am dying for an answer. It's a fairly minor problem in the grand scheme of things, but **** it's frustrating.

Hello I send imessages to a phone number I receive delivery notice but sms does not show on receiving phone. Otherwise when receive imessage from other phone I reply and receiver sees SMS !!! Any explanation ?
To my knowledge, I've only seen this for imessage only and not SMS.
The other users would need to have send read receipts enabled on their phone. -
When I add events on my iphone calendar, they show up on my mac, but when I add events to my claendar on my mac, they do not show up on my iphone, why not?
Is this calendar labelled On My Mac or iCloud in the sidebar?

A song I purchased shows up in iTunes, but will not show up on my iPhone. When the phone is plugged into the computer, iTunes shows that it is on my iPhone, but it is not. How do I get that song to show up on my iPhone?

My iPad 4 does not show up on my TV screen when in AirPlay mirroring mode using WiFi. The iPad displays AirPlay set to TV with the Mirroring On (green).
My iPad IOS software is 8.2 and my Apple TV software is at 7.1. The TV displays the Apple Menu. The “Settings” does however displays the General menu allowing me to see:

It does not display the iPad screen but when I use the BT Sport App I can hear the sound but there is no video. I have searched the internet for a solution to no avail. Try the following steps, check whether things are working after each step where appropriate, before trying the next.
Check AirPlay is turned on on the Apple TV (turn it off and on if it already is)
Check that both devices are on the same network (Settings > Wifi, on the mobile device and Settings > General > Network, on the Apple TV).
Restart the Apple TV (Settings > General > Restart).
Restart the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.
Restart your router. (Also try removing it’s power cord for at least 30 seconds)
Restart your mobile device.

I have rented two movies on my laptop and they will not completely download..it shows that they are theere but when i try to watch them on my laptop or my ipad it wont open up???? help
Welcome to the Apple community.
A number of people have reported similar issues recently, many appear to have found a discrepancy of some kind in their account settings and making changes to these settings or simply resetting them has resolved the matter.
Check your account details are correct, check that you are using the correct details for Location, Region and Time Zone. You may want to change these settings and then change them back to see if that helps.
You might also try logging out of and then back into your iTunes account (Settings > iTunes Store > Apple ID’s > Sign Out) and restarting your router. (Some have reported that after doing this, they need to check for rentals even though it may report that there aren’t any, after which rentals once again appear in the ‘movies’ feature)
Rentals should appear under their own heading in the ‘Movies’ feature, you might also check at Settings > iTunes Store > Check For Rentals. -
In my MacBook Pro(10.7.5), finder is crashing after logging in. It is showing crash report with Relaunch option, when i click on Relaunch option finder is working properly but i am unable to see Top bar(Apple logo, Date and Wifi etc... bar). Even in safari address bar, TextEdit not accepting any text means when type something not showing up and also i am unable operate any thing from keyboard. Plz help me…..
One thing that you can try is installing a 'fresh' version of OS X Lion. Boot into your Recovery partition (holding down the command and R keys whilst booting) and elect to install OS X from the Recovery screen. You need not erase your hard drive and you should not lose any of your data.
Oh, and just as a precaution, I would use Disk Utility, once you're in Recovery mode, to verify your hard drive before trying to install the OS again.

ITunes shows a CoreGraphics.dll inpage error when I try to open it.
I have always use itunes and recently my itunes wont open anymore. It shows an "inpage error" every time when I try to open it. It never happen before and I just check my computer for viruses and its clean. I have already tried to uninstall itunes and donwload it again, didnt work. Help please, i cant even upload songs to my ipod now.

YES! There is a CoreGraphics.dll cited in the iTunes event. This is what exactly the window said
"Faulting application iTunes.exe, version 9.0.3.15, faulting module CoreGraphics.dll, version 1.0.60.0, fault address 0x00266560."
For the .ttf file, this is what it showed.

It is one of the standard setting provided by SAP for extracting spool output.In most of the case it is sufficient. Incase of special requirement we can do as below.
In SM37,open the spool and click the icon Display in Maximum Width or (Shift+F4). Then the complete list will be displayed.

after writing an html report on a floppy disk and removing it, labview shows an error message window: disk not present.
My pc is based on asus motherboard. Labview 7 and Windows 2000 sp4 installed.
The error message continue also if i stop the application that generated report on a: .
I've got this problem only on a pc: on other machines i don't have this problem (Labview only continues to access floppy but it doesn't show any window).
Find below an example: first press the button to create a report on a: then remove the floppy, after 30-35 sec i've got the error message

I tried your vi: I don't get any error message after removing the disk but LV7 keeps on accessing the drive at regular intervals even if you stop the vi and close it!!! This is not supposed to happen.
The only way to stop it is exit LV7.
If you don't use the file dialog and you wire a full path, you don't get any problem.
I also created a very simple vi that conditionally writes a text file on a: and I got the same behaviour.
This problem occurs only with LV7, I tried the same examples in LV6.1 and everything was fine.

I can't synch my iPhone with iTunes because the device does not show up in a device window when I plug it in...it's missing in action and thus I'm not able to add any content from the iTunes to my iPhone, e.g. podcasts. All the instructions on synching start with "find your device in the device window". But what if you have no device window?
Missing "message" from above: The iPad "DGMTR" is synced with another iTunes library on DGMTR's MacBook Pro. Do you want to erase this iPad and sync with this iTunes library? An iPad can be synched with only one iTunes library at a time. Erasing and syncing replaces the contents of this iTunes library.
I thought the libraries were the same.
