1.5 problem continues - any ideas?

I've reported this issue a couple of times now. I've since gone back to 1.1.2, but there are some features in 1.5 I'd really like to be able to take advantage of (file management is the big one). I'm hoping someone will be able to help!
Here's the recap: when I open a file in external editor (PS2), make edits, and save back to Aperture, the changes don't show up automatically. I actually have to double-click the image and open it in a new window view, or just switch the window view manually, to get the image to update. Now, this might not sound like such a big deal, but it's a real hassle in the midst of processing a number of images.
Strange details: 1) I have the same problem on my G5 2.0 and my MacBook, so I'm doubtful that it's a system issue on BOTH machines. 2) On the MacBook, I used Software Update to go from 1.1.2 to 1.5. On the G5, I installed 1.5 from a new disk 3) I've trashed preferences, caches, etc and repaired permissions until the cows came home - no effect 4) the problem doesn't occur on the FIRST image I open/edit in PS2 and save back to Aperture (the update happens as expected); but everytime thereafter it happens!?!
I can't figure out how the problem could possibly exist on both machines. Even the libraries are different. I exported selected projects from the G5 and then imported them into the MacBook library. I'm hopelessly stumped on this, and Apple is absolutely no help. What do I do?
Chris

Same problem.
3 - 4 edits are problem free. After that, the image either fails to update or renders in a scrambled fashion. Switching view doesn't help us. Quitting and reopening Aperture shows that the image is intact, so no data is actually lost (just time). Lately we've taken to saving the file and waiting 2 - 3 seconds before returning to Aperture, that seems to work.
This is on a DP G5 2.0 and CS2 (also using a raptor boot). Haven't tried it on our MacBook Pro as CS2 is too slow, but I'll investigate.
We were doing some troubleshooting for something else and tried all the same remedies (reinstalled Aperture etc.). Seems like the problem is in the program or maybe the raptor is too fast ; )
