1 Apple ID, 2 People, 6 Apple Products

I will start off by apologizing if the answer to my question is located elsewhere. I was unable to find a thread that addressed my entire question. The general question I have will be what will be associated with the iCloud ID and what will be associated with the Apple ID? There are currently six Apple products in our home: two iPhone 4's, two iPads, a MacBook and an iMac. I will address the issues below which I think may be impacted multi-user, multi-device households like ours, depending on which services are attached to which ID.
1. iTunes, iTunes Match, iBooks, Newstand, App Store - in a perfect world, only these items will all be attached to the Apple ID. My wife and I currently use one Apple ID for our purchases and would prefer to conitune to do so.
2. iMessage - I presume this will be based on the iCloud ID? If someone sends my wife an iMessage, I want it to come to her iPhone and her iPad. I don't want to see her messages on mine, and vice versa. If this feature is associated with the Apple ID, one would think you would see them on all four devices.
3. GameCenter - Same issue as iMessage, I would hope it is attached to the iCloud ID so our friends\game results stay seperate.
4. Safari - Reading list. Hopefully this is iCloud.
6. Photo Stream - everything I have read says this will be part of iCloud, so that service will be kept seperate. However...
5. Wifi Sync - No clue what will happen here. We have one Apple ID that is used on both Mac computers. Will both of our iPhones and iPads sync to both computers? The iOS5 description on Apple.com lists everything it syncs, which includes photos. Does that mean local photos on our phones or is Photo Stream also a part of the sync? Or will it be just be backing up the pictures stored locally on a specific iDevice? Who knows, hopefully we will be able to keep the pictures on our phones seperate.
If anyone can shed some light on these issues, it would be greatly appreciated. Hopefully, one ID for purchases, and another for everything else, similar to MobileMe, will continue to be the way things are handled.

I am having the exact same issue and am pulling my hair out trying to figure it out....so much for Apple being easy!!
We have two iphones, macbookpro, mac, and ipad and ipad2. My catch is the ipads and imessage. I have no issue at all with how we have everything set up right now and how we share everything under one Appleid. The problem I have, is with iMessage......I want her iPad to get HER iMessage/texts........and I want my iPad to get mine only. In other words...I want to be able to seemlessly imessage fromiPads to iPhones to each other when we wish and not have to send it to her "email". I want to send it to her "phone number".
Does that make sense? Really frustrated here at this point. Seems silly that we would have to have totally different setups now, cause I don't want to have to redo all of the contacts for her because we have to set up multiple iCloud accounts in order to use iMessage to each other.
I have got to be making this more difficult than it actually is. Just have to be. Why can't a device have two iCloud accounts?

the only way that anyone would be able to see anything at all on your phone is if they knew your apple id password, or they were looking over your shoulder

My original Apple ID was my bellsouth address. When I got iCloud, it was merged with the .me address. I can use either to log into the same iCloud, Facetime, iTunes & Apple Store, and Messages. Seems you have 2 separate Apple IDs (one for iCloud and one for iTunes).
If you log into any app using the Apple ID such as Facetime, only the email addresses associated with it will work. You can log into the Manage Apple ID website and see what addresses are associated with that login.

I don't know of any way to merge seperate Apple IDs. You can try changing the one you use for iTunes to the one you use for iCloud and see if it works. If not, you can change the iTunes one to a different email address. Then you can disassociated the gmail address for the iTunes Apple ID and then associated it with the iCloud Apple ID. Once it's disassociated from one account, you will then be able to add it to the other and get the verification email.

If you are going to use multiple Apple ID’s, then you will need to make one for just making purchases and then use another one for iCloud and syncing your personal information. The article below will explain further.

Hi there, my niece lost her iPod touch at school and in there had my phone number and my apple Id. Unknow people stolen the iPod keep calling me by face time even I changed my apple id. You can delete the iCloud account from her phone by going to Settings>iCloud, scroll to the bottom and choose Delete Account. I believe you will get a prompt asking if you want to remove or keep the data on the phone; if you don't want your contacts on her phone choose delete. As far as the contact on your old SIM card, if it is the same size as the iPhone SIM card you can put it in the iPhone and import the contacts (see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4994). If the SIM card won't fit, then you would need to either export the contacts to your computer using appropriate software, upload your contacts to a cloud service so you can download them to your computer, or in some cases take it and your iPhone to your retailer and ask them if they can do the transfer for you. (It's also possible to cut a SIM card down to fit but it can be tricky to get it right. There are articles on this if you search with Google.) The maps in new iOS 6 is a total junk, I went to an Applestore for solutions, they asked me to call the apple care; I called apple care, the representative said he's not authorized to solve this problem, I need to talk to a supervisor; a supervisor was connected but he told me what I can do is to download new app running on iOS 6, or to leave you a feedback here if I wanted to continue use google maps in iOS 5.1.1. And I argued with him that you should not kick me as a ball from one person to another, he said he could not help me more about this, and he even suggested that it's my fault that I didn't read your documentations which may indicate the maps is not working as it is supposed to be. OK, I loose, you apple is the winner, you have driven an Apple fan away successfully... It's all my fault that I installed a prematurely released iOS you pushed a notification to my device, it's my fault that I didn't wait for more testing reports of your new junk soft, it's my fault that I trusted Apple which is no more a trustworthy company, it's my fault that I purchased apple products, it's my fault that I called Apple care and get kicked here and there like a football, it's my fault that I chose apple to get deceived... Allow me to suggest that you first research the games you wish to play and become thoroughly familiar with their system requirements, especially the requirements for video hardware. Then look at computer models with that in mind. If you don't understand the hardware jargon, find a friend locally who does and ask for help.
We see plenty of reports here from people buying the cheapest Mac notebook to save money, knowing full-well it has entry-level graphics hardware, and then get mad at Apple when some high-end game won't run because it needs more powerful gfx hardware. Don't join that club, please.
The Dell you linked will not meet the sysreqs for SWTOR as shipped. As it has the lower-performing Intel GMA integrated graphics, you'd have to increase RAM to 2GB and then it still may have to run at the lowest resolution settings. I suspect it will disappoint you.
Observations:
---New games need newer computer models and that cost more.
---Few notebook computers--regardless of make--are good gaming computers. Heat is the enemy of any notebook and most high-end games run all the hardware at near-capacity, and the laptop get really hot.
Research, please, so you aren't disappointed.

Sorry I didn't word this correctly. Can we purchase apple merchandise via the Apple store app using an iTunes voucher credit? For example I have $20 credit in iTunes and want to purchase an apple product via the Apple Store App.

Having issue viewing purchases done through one Apple TV, on other Apple TV's, even after it has been downloaded to the synced I-Tunes shared account.

The only people who can possibly assist you with this is Apple Customer Relations, call your local Apple contact number and ask for Customer Relations then explain your situation clearly and politely (be firm but don't rant).
You might want to investiage what the local laws are regarding defective goods and 'fit for use' definitions on warranties etc. Consumer Protection can be a useful tool to use or bargain with if needed ...
