$1 charged when create new itune Account, not refunded

Hi,
I have created a apple Itune Id for purchaging the store items. At the time of creating Apple iTune account i paid $1 (that is refunded Please correct if i am wrong).
But after a month i have not received this money back in to my account.

Each time that you add or change credit card details on your account then you will receive a temporary store holding charge to check that the card details are correct and valid and that it's registered to exactly the same name and address as on your iTunes account - and yes, it should disappear off your account within a few days or so (it varies by bank) of it being applied (though each time that you change your or the card details on your account it might be applied again) : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3702
You could contact your card issuer to ask why it's still on there (it's only a temporary authorisation charge so your card issuer should automatically remove it), and/or contact iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

When tried to download or update it showed"there is a problem in billing from previous purchased" changed to new payment account still unable to access. Created new itune account still cant access, keep showing old account detailed. & asked for verification. Pls assist. Thank you.

Also when I apply the safety copy it only imports the app the phones have had in common, so none of the apps that only the iPhone 4 had doesn't come in, only the ones I and the iPhone 4 has had in common. So you say the only way I can use the Apple ID to download on the old iPhone 4 is if I delete the apps that are in the phone and then download them again? How will that change the ID to download/update from. Won't it still have mine to update/download from?

  • Problem verifying mail address after creating new iTunes account

I was trying to create new iTunes account in UK store without credit card verification following Apple's guide: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2534. After creation of new account, I tried to login with new credentials and got message that my email address is not verified. When I clicked OK to verify address, I got following message:
Your request could not be completed. Make sure your computer's date is set correct and that accepts cookies from the iTunes Music store.
Yes, time is correct and no problems with cookies. There is More Info that sends to http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1459 which is completely unrelated to me. That page explains Windows problems, do have OSX, latest update.
Any idea what might be the problem ? TIA

Don't create a new account. Update your previous account with any new/changed info and contiune to use it.

  • Create new itunes account and transfer music on same computer

I started an itunes account on my home computer which my niece would use. When she got a computer at her house, she also downloaded itunes. Instead of creating her own account, she used my account name and password. I purchase itunes cards instead of having my credit card number on my account. After loading the funds, I would return later to make a purchase and would not have any money left. I didn't think it was possible for her to have access to my funds at her home, since anything we added/purchased was not accessible at the others home. The last time I added money, I made a point to keep up with how much I used as a test to see if she was able to use my account balance. I tried to make a purchase this weekend and only had $.62, so apparently she can use it. She now needs to open a new itunes account on her home computer. Can she easily open a new account and transfer all music to the new account with playlists? Sorry this is so long...Your help is appreciated!

She can (assuming she has a credit card, iTunes Music card or gift certificate) certainly open an account.
But tracks purchased under your iTMS account will remain under your account and cannot be transferred to another account. The tracks can be copied to her computer - see:
iTunes: How to copy music between authorized computers
Though it refers to iTMS purchased music, it applies to all her tracks. And if she happens to also own an iPod:
How to use your iPod to move your music to a new computer
But her computer will have to be authorized to your account at least once for her system to be able to play the tracks she's already purchased. Once the system is authorized, you'll want to change your password to your iTMS account or she'll be able to continue to purchase using your account.

  • Moving itunes content when creating new user account

Recently added two iphones to our rapidly growing apple family of devices.  Our imac was originally set up with just one main user account the whole family shared.  The problem I have is with sharing, syncing, merging with my iphone all family shared information.  For example, the contact list on the shared family mac is huge and includes many "x-mas card only people" that I will never need to call.  Same with shared calendar.  If make some quick notes or reminders on my calendar just for me, it replicates on to everyones device.  The guy at the apple store suggested I should have my own account.  I have done that and am now seeing the limitations OSX puts on different accounts as it seeks to protect each account.  An example here is trying to share and use our iphoto library.  My goal is to have itunes in my new , separate account that syncs to my own contact list (won't change back to the full family list every time I sync), has just the apps I want (not my daughters 300 apps that seem to keep re-appearing on my phone), still be able to sync to the family calendar but maybe have one of my own as well, have my own playlists from itunes 9I was able to find a way to access the big family music library in my account) and be able to build iphoto albums to sync.
I think problems stem from a lack of understanding the basics of what separate "accounts" really can and can't do as it relates to different applications and devices.
    Thanks for any help!

    Drag \Music\iTunes folder to \Users\Shared.
Log in to the new user account and copy \Users\Shared\iTunes to \Music\iTunes.

  • Can't create new iTunes account

I no longer have my previous email address that I used for my iTunes account so I tried to create a new account but it won't let me, it keeps telling me to set the computer's date correctly and to accept cookies from the iTunes Music Store. My computer's date is set correctly but how do I accept cookies from the Music Store?

    Hi,
Creating an account of iTune has become a nightmare.I could create Apple ID and password account but whenever I log on to iTunes it says that 'this account has not been used before and review account status'. Then it gives me agreement in Arabic only with no option to change into English, then form to fill out card and mane address info, where it sometimes accepts my bank Mater Card sometimes does not. There is no option I see that says click if no card available as was told to me by my friend. If it accepts my card then says enter Postcode but I do no see any section to enter it at all and from this point I cannot proceed further. If I try to download Free applications using apple ID and password, it says Error 2001.
    Is there any solution?
    Thanks

  • Create new iTunes account without losing previously purchased content?

My husband and I both have iPhone's but currently share one iTunes account from which all music, apps, etc. have been purchased from.  As time goes on, it is getting harder to manage; therefore we want to create a separate account.  Is there a way to create a new Apple ID for his phone without losing the existing content that has already been purchased?

There is nothing that prevents having iTunes content that was downloaded with more than one Apple ID or iTunes account on one device.
She needs to register her computer with the new Apple ID with iTunes.
All apps, all paid and free apps include DRM protection which is tied to the Apple ID or iTunes account that was used to download the apps. This means in order to install an app update for an app that was downloaded with the existing Apple ID, she will need to use that Apple ID and password or she will be prompted for it when doing so.
iTunes on your computer allows for transferring iTunes content that was purchased/downloaded from the iTunes Store from an iPod or iOS device.

  • When creating new webpart page not getting logo from the masterpage

    Hi
when I am going to creating new page.aspx then it inheriting  the logo from the  master page
BUT i AM GOING TO CREATING NEW WEB PART PAGE.ASPX  THAT IS NOT GETTING THE LOGO FROM THE MASTER PAGE  HOW CAN I SOLVE THIS PROBLEM

In a Publishing environment there are two master pages.  One is used for all the pages stored in the pages document library.  Those pages use the Site Master master page.  Other pages, like web part pages, use the System Master page.  If
you go to the Site Settings you will see a link called Master Pages in the Look and Feel section.  When you click on that link you will see a page where you can choose which master page to use for the Site Master and the System master.  I suspect
you are using a custom master with a logo for the Site master and a different master for the System master.  You can try setting the System master to be the same as the site master or make sure that your logo is also included on the System master.

  • Will all my apps delete if i create a new itunes account on my iphone 4???

If i create a new itunes account not on the computer but directly on my iphone- that is log out my itunes account on my iphone and create new one and use that new account to download an app will the rest of my apps delete before i even sync it to my computer? If later i sync it to my computer then will it delete.
Also it would be helpful if you could name some things to avoid all my apps being deleted.

I have three different accounts and at some time or another have bought apps with them all. If there is an update the Iphone automatically asks me to login with the appropriate credentials to update. They all live happily on Itunes and I can log in and out on Itunes as well with no ill effects.

  • Can I move an IPad to a new iTunes account without losing the apps?

I currently have two devices on my itunes account, and would like to move one the devices to a new itunes account (not mine). Is it possible to do this without losing all of the apps that have been acquired on that device?

You can only have one library per user account on a PC/Mac.
So, if you need to create a new library, then create a new user, and transfer the content you want over to that new user. Then sync.
Can you clarify a little more what you're needing?

  • HT203167 When I purchased a new iPad it asked me to create a iTunes account I did so by mistake not realizing that you can only  have one iTunes account. All my music is on my original account so I want to stay with that account.

I have opened a second iTunes account when I purchased my iPad and downloaded movies and books to it that I have purchased on that account. All my music is on my original iTunes account so I was told at the apple store to keep that account only or I will loose all my music purchases. Is there a way to take my movies and books and apps I paid for to be put on my old iTunes account so I can close the new iTunes account I am not using?

    1) authorize iTunes on the new machine for your iTunes store account(s)
    2) connect your device and right-click or control-click it in the iTunes Source list, then choose transfer purchases from the shortcut menu that appears.
    3) sync the device
iTunes will wipe the iPhone but, since you transferred your purchases in the previous step, your content will be in your library and you can re-populate the iPhone with it.

  • HT5622 My new iTunes account keeps telling me that my account is not yet verified.  But when I click on a verification email in the verification email I receive, it says that my new apple id _has_ already been verified.  I'm so confused.

My new iTunes account that I created for work keeps telling me that my email address is not yet verified.  So I send a verification email to my main (another) email address, and then when I get a verification email to that address, it says that my email address is already verified.

You can resend the verification email by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage your Apple ID, sign in, click on Name, ID and Email addresses on the left, then to the right click Resend under your Primary Email Address.

  • I have set up a second iTunes user account on my PC, but when I create the new iTunes account it copies the music, videos etc from the original account and they seem to be linked.  What am I doing wrong?

I have set up a second iTunes user account on my PC, but when I create the new iTunes account it copies the music, videos etc from the original account and they seem to be linked, so that when I delete a song from one library it deletes from the other one.
On the online tutorials I've seen it shows that when you create a new iTunes library it should open as a blank account, but that isn't happening.
    What am I doing wrong?

If you  have iTunes 11 turn on the Sidebar. Go to iTunes>View and click on Show Sidebar. You can also do a Crtl+S to show the sidebar. The sidebar is where Devices appears. and Control+B to show the Menu bar
    If necessary:
iOS: Device not recognized in iTunes for Windows
    or
iOS: Device not recognized in iTunes for Mac OS X

  • When i first created my itunes account it selected the local country i lived in, now i have changed countries and it does allow me to buy any apps as the credit card is not valid in that country. what do i do?

When i first created my itunes account it selected the local country i lived in, now i have changed countries and it does allow me to buy any apps as the credit card is not valid in that country. what do i do?

You will need to sign into your account using the iTunes app on your Mac or PC and change the region/country for your account. If you do not have a bank card for the new country, you should be able to make purchases with iTunes Gift Cards if they are available in the new country.
