1 Lizenz für MacBook und Windows-Desktop

Hallo
MfG Daniel

Yes.  You can have any version of Photoshop running on two computers at the same time, but Photoshop CC is the only version that will allow you to have one on a Windows system, and the other on a Mac.
So no problem.  Just go and do it.

  • Mac und Windows Lizenz?

    Guten Abend,
    Silverr

  • I have pulled pictures off of my windows desktop to a jump drive to try to put them on my macbook pro (OS 10.7) but they do not show up when I plug in the jump drive.

I have pulled pictures off of my windows desktop onto a usb jumpdrive to transfer to my macbook pro (OSX10.7). when I plug it into my macbook I do not see the picture files. Does OSX not recognize certain files from windows? They are standard .jpg files.

    Hello RumDog,
I think this article will help you find the media in your library.
Where are my iTunes files located?
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1391
Discovering and changing the iTunes Media folder location
Note: You would usually only change the iTunes Media folder location to share music between accounts on the same computer. See this article for specific steps on how to accomplish this. Also, see this article if you want to know how to move your music to a new computer.
Mac OS X: Click the iTunes menu and choose Preferences.
Windows: Click the Edit menu and choose Preferences.
Click the Advanced pane. iTunes displays the location of your iTunes Media folder.
    You can then:
Note where your media folder is, such as for backing up your media.
Use the Reset button to reset it's location to the default (which is the iTunes folder).
Click the Change button to select a folder for a new location. Once you change this location:
If you make a new or alternate iTunes library, the new location will be used by that library.
Existing files will not be moved unless you choose File > Library > Organize library and choose the option to "Consolidate files."
From: Where are my iTunes files located?

  • What hbmi cord do I need to connect my Macbook Pro retina display to a Windows desktop?

I'm trying to connect my Windows desktop to my Macbook Pro retina dispay so i can transfer CD's. ALthough I dont know what cord to get.

Your post is a little confusing. HDMI is for connecting video, like hooking your Mac to a TV. It sounds like you want to transfer files. If you have a wireless network, just share the folder with the music on your Windows machine and you should be able to copy it to your Mac.

  • Easiest way to transfer photos from my old Windows desktop to new MacBook?

I am an Apple newbie. What is the easiest way to transfer 7 years of photos from my old Windows desktop (Vista operating system) to my brand-new MacBook Air (OS 10.9.5)? Please answer in specific and simple terms. I'm not a techie. Thanks.

That does not create a backup since the photos are on the same disk as the iphoto library, it simply wastes disk space - when the computer or the disk fails or the computer is stolen everything is gone as it is all in the same place - to have a backup you need a copy on a different disk - if you drag the photo from the external disk onto the iPhoto icon in the the dock iPhoto will import them (be sure that the default setting for "copy imported items to the iPHoto library" is checked - do not uncheck it - then you will have the photos in iPhoto and a backup on the external drive
You also need to get an external drive about 2 to 2 1/2 times the size of the iphoto library formatted mac OS extended (journaled) and start running timeMachine so you always have hourly backups

    What?
I did mention using an external drive, did i not?  Copying the photos to the external drive, and then copying the photos from the external drive to the mac. means they now exist in the external drive as well as the new Mac, the external drive is now effectively a backup of the photos. .
I never mentioned anything about iPhoto.   Just a straight copy though Windows Explorer, and Finder on the Mac.

  • HT4796 Can Windows 7 be installed on my new MacBook Pro, through my network connection?  The disc would be in my Windows desktop.

Can Windows 7 be installed on my new MacBook Pro, through my network connection?  The disc would be in my Windows desktop.

I wouldn't recommend installing through a network connection.
    For a Virtual Machine:
If you have the Win 7 media (DVD), use an app like PowerISO or MagicISO to make an ISO file of the install disc and use that.
    For BootCamp:
Use the original install media and BootCamp Assistant, to install from your DVD Drive.

  • Connecting AirPort Extreme to my Windows desktop PC and MacBook

First I'd like to mention that I'm a brand new user of Macs so please excuse my ignorance. Is it at all possible to hook up my Windows PC and my Macbook Pro to the Airport Extreme so they can both share the same internet connection? I'm also pretty sure my Windows desktop PC is NOT Wifi ready. Help...thanks.

Yes you can connect your PC via ethernet and your MBP can connect through ethernet or WiFi.

  • Parallel use of CC on Windows Desktop Computer and MacBook

Is it possible to install and use my CC on my Windows Desktop Computer and a MacBook?
(maybe not at the same time, but e.g. a mobile use while photographing and later finishing the pics on my desktop?)

  • How to sync MacBook Air with Windows desktop

    Welcome to Apple Discussions
If you mean "How do I mange e-mail and/or files between two or more devices"? You have to get organized.
If you have POP3 mail it's somewhat complicated: you set your "traveling machine" to receive (but not remove from the e-mail server) new messages. Realize that if you reply from the traveling machine that message will not show up anyplace but the sent box of the machine from which you sent the reply (you can export/import sent messages via a jump/thumb drive back to the desktop when you cease traveling). If you delete a message from the traveling machine you may/or may not have it also deleted from the e-mail server. All those choices or options are sent in e-mail behavior or options (what it's called/where its found depends on your choice of e-mail client)
The desktop machine is set to download messages from the server. When you are traveling the e-mail client must not be started or running (or you may miss messages on your traveling machine because they were downloaded at home before you turned on your traveling e-mail). Once get home you start your e-mail download all messages still left on the server - delete duplicates and import your sent messages.
If you have an IMAP4 e-mail client it's much simpler you set up the traveling machine to leave all the e-mail on the e-mail server. You will see all the "new" messages AND when you get home you can have the Desktop see/download your mail sent from the traveling machine as the traveling machine was acting as a "terminal". Again exactly how you do this depends on your choice of e-mail client.
For files you would keep a copy (or backup) on iCloud, or you could keep all your work organized in folders that can easily be transferred to jump/thumb drives or accessed through file sharing on your home network.

  • How can I open all PDFs on my MS Windows desktop in Firefox?

I would like to open all PDFs on my local MS Windows desktop open in Firefox so I can use tabs.
How can I open all PDFs on my MS Windows desktop in Firefox?
I have tried just going to File... Open... <desktop PDF file>, but all I get is funny markup and funny characters, like the following:
    %PDF-1.4 %âãÏÓ 3 0 obj << /Producer (PDF-XChange 3.60.0128 \(Windows XP\)) /CreationDate (D:20110321141052-04'00') >> endobj 5 0 obj << /Type /XObject /Subtype /Image /Width 2551 /Height 3285 /BitsPerComponent 8 /ColorSpace /DeviceGray /Length 500647 /Filter [/FlateDecode /DCTDecode] >> [...]
I am able to open PDFs from the Internet normally using the Adobe Reader X plugin, but for some reason, it doesn't kick in when I open local PDF files.
I am using Firefox 4.0.1 and Adobe Reader X.
    Thanks. -Noel

Do you have any graphics editing software like photoshop or something similar.?
Surely you can just open both images, resize the image you want to add, then copy and paste it into the main image. Save this as a new file and set it as the background.
If you need a graphics editing program you can download one called The Gimp for free. Just make sure you have X11 installed.

  • A few questions about MacBooks and Parallels Desktop.

I have a few questions about MacBooks and Parallels Desktop.
    1) I understand I need at least 1GB of RAM to run Parallels Desktop but what about the hard drive, is the stock 60GB drive big enough?
    2) Related to question 1, even if it was big enough to allow me to install and run Windows would the 60GB drive be enough if I wanted to install a Linux distribution as well?
    3) This has nothing to do with Parallels Desktop but thought I'd ask it here anyway, do Apple Stores carry just the stock MacBooks, or do they carry other configurations?
    Thanks
    Keith

    1. Depend on how intensive you use that HD for saving data on both Mac OS and XP. For standard installation on both OS X and XP, the space of 60 Gb is enough.
    2. Same answer as no 1. You can install all three on that HD space, but the extra spacce available will be less and less for your data. You can save your data on external or back up on cd/dvd and erase it from the HD to keep the free space.
Remember to leave at least 2 or 3 Gb for virtual memory usage.
    3. Just call them, maybe they don't have it in store stock, but by appointment they might configure one for you before your pick-up date.
    Good Luck

  • Replacing windows desktop with a mac

I currently have a macbook pro, 2009, and a windows desktop.  I'd like to replace the desktop with a mac, but will need to run windows on it for Quicken.  So, what would be the most economical alternative? A mac mini? I also have Fujitsu scanner for mac which the new computer must support.  I would consider a new or used mac.  Also, is Bootcamp the best way to plan on doing mac and Windows?
    Thanks!

The Fujitsu ScanSnap works great on the Mac and is accessible through its own software, VueScan, or EverNote among many other software packages. As far as using Windows and Quicken, Bootcamp is an either/or proposition and not both at the same time. On the other hand Parallels Desktop will run Windows and Windows applications on the OS X desktop and happliy transfer data from one environment to the other. In eithercase you will need to purchase and install a copy of Windows and while Windows is running your Mac will be as vulnerable to Windows malware as any Windows computer so you will also need a good security suite that would otherwise be unnecessary. A Mac mini or an iMac would be a more thqan adequate desktop computer. If you are buying an new monitor for the Mac Mini the final price will be pretty close to that of an iMac. If you are planning on using the monitor from your PC then the Mac mini will save you anywhere up to $1,000 or more. I switched from an iMac to a Mac mini when I got tired of essentially buying a new monitor every time I upgraded my computer and I am very please with the performancek of my mini. The Fusion drive helps -- a LOT.

  • ICloud won't sync with Office Documents on Windows Desktop - A huge limitation

I'm not able to sync my Macbook and iPhone to the Office documents on my Windows desktop. I want to use Pages on both my iPhone and Macbook to edit the Word documents I store on my Windows desktop.
This is very limiting and would force me to find another solution (I know many in this same situation). What will Apple do to address this?

Thanks Csound1. That's what I figured out. It is unfortunate, since I really wanted to use iCloud.
There are several other cloud services that support syncing documents between a Windows, OSX, and iOS platform without any restrictions. I could use them to cloud sync documents from my Windows desktop to either my iPhone or Macbook, and then use Pages, Numbers, or Keynote to update . The only tricky part is syncing it back to the cloud from my iPhone, which requires me to email the updates back and then manually update the sync file using sync management software (either Mac or Windows). Somewhat clugy and error prone, but it works until a better solution emerges. Perhaps a solution is around the corner -Microsoft is now developing new Office Suite products for iOS, OSX, and Windows, so perhaps this will be able to provide true cross platform compatability that many businesses need along with seamless cloud syncing.
I really hope Apple soon supports iCloud syncing of Office files to Windows. iCloud already supports syncing with Outlook on the Windows platform, so I can't see why Apple won't support syncing Office documents to a Windows platform. Every other cloud service supports this.

SInce I am unfamiliar with remoting Mac-to-Mac ....I reached out to this forum.   I sincerely appreciate the quick feedback.
