1 page signature page (non e-signatures)

Hi,
I am created an edible PDF and the applicant needs to submit a signature to “confirm” the application. Unfortunately we do not accept e-signatures, so it needs to be a real one. If we want them to submit via email, is there a way of having a 1 page signature page…which is somehow tied to the application (some id? Or some summary of the info? Not sure what) that the applicant could print, sign and scan, then attach to the email along with the PDF of the application? I'm not sure of how to solve this yet.
I am using Adobe LiveCycle Designer ES 8.2, along with Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro.

What do you mean by "real" signatures -- digital signatures?
I presume that "application" you're talking about is a PDF document, right?
Digital signature is always applied to the complete PDF, not just some pages. Its appearance appears on some page but it still applies to the whole document.
The applicants who apply their digital signatures to PDFs must have distinct (personal) digital IDs (signing certificates/credentials) to create digital signatures (sign PDFs). Do you have in place infrastructure to provide them with digital IDs?
If you want applicants to be able to sign in Reader you need to Reader-Enable PDFs (application forms) that you create with LiveCycle.

Redirect page to x page= none of the url title of x page are displayed

Just wondering if anyone knows how to help me. I host my
pages .com, but have only registered the domain .co.uk elsewhere
and redirect it to the .com domain. When i now access the .co.uk
page, it redirects, but none of the url title of the .com page are
displayed. Do you know how to correct this?

Then it's not a redirect, but probably just a frame.

HP Duplex prints first page non-duplex?

I have upgraded to Lion and am experiencing problems printing duplex (two-sided) documents on HP printers (tested on the HP Laserjet 4010 and 9050). The first page will print non-duplex (one-sided) as if it is a separate cover page. The remaining pages will properly print in duplex format. This problems occurs when printing both in Word (2011) and printing pdfs from preview.
I tried going to the HP website to download the drivers directly for Lion, but it said to use system update for the drivers. Doh! Any ideas? My brain is starting to hurt.

You should use Software Update to install the specific driver for your printer. You can also download the full set of drivers from http://support.apple.com/kb/DL907. What version of the HP driver are you using? Please post back if the duplex issue remains after updating the drivers.

Sorry I was very upset and I wrote in Italian, I try to explain my problem in english (forgive my english).
In January 2010 I bought an Iphone 3gs in Milan, Italy, I was very proud of it, after 2 month suddenly the screen became white and was impossible to use it. I phoned the assistance and I found out that the repairs of the Iphone is possible just in the “apple store”, in Italy there are only two: MILAN Carugate (very far from the centre of Milan) and Rome. I was lucky because I live in Milan even if very far from Carugate. Before going I phoned to get an appointment: impossible fore the same day. At the end I had my screen replaced. Yesterday (May 1st) after less than a month my screen suddenly became strange, the characters became very big (98% ) so big to inhibit any action. I tried the reset, and all the possible suggestion of the support page. Today (may 2nd) I phoned the apple store I and I asked for an appointment for the same day, the answer was: sorry today we are too busy!!! Is this the assistance of APPLE!!! Tomorrow I start a very busy week and wouldn’t have time to go to the Apple Store, I’m forced to go back to my former NOKIA!

HT4942 While on the ICloud Page, none of my pages docs are visible.

Icloud set up on ipad and set to sync documents. All other apps, (mail, contacts and calender) syncing fine. However, when I click on the "iwork" icon, it just keeps bringing me back to install the Pages or Numbers applications. Any idea why the iwork application is not recognizing that I have already purchased this and have documents stored (theoretically) in the Cloud?

Yes sir, that was the case. However, I'm not sure what setting changed, but the document finally showed up in the IWorks icon on the ICloud page. So, now I'm at my last question. Although, I would love to know what, of the many things I experimented with, was the reason the document finally showed up under the IWork icon. Lord only knows. Thanks for the help though. While I've got your brain to pick (if you don't mind), being new to Apple products, do you have any suggestions for being able to print wirelessly from the Ipad to a wi-fi network?

I have had no problem paying for songs...ever... Until now. The same card I used 2 weeks ago.. The same one that I always use ..well, when I want to pay "INVALID SECURITY CODE" always comes up ! I have tried the last 3 days! I trired other cards and the same thing comes up! Why,I ask? Yes, I have e-mailed iTunes support and in the response,today, it said to check the "NONE" box ( the box after all the other payment options) which clears account information. Then go back and put in my card's information again.

I restored bookmarks after resetting firefox. Now when i try to bookmark a page none of the restored folders show up. How do i fix this?

if you want to know where the folders you restored are placed they should be located in "all bookmarks" -> inside a folder called "restored bookmarks" or "backup"
you have to manually drag the folders out of there and place them where you want them to be. then navigate (as normal) to that folder to add bookmarks to them.

set everything
to display:none in the print stylesheet. But as others have
pointed out,
this is so easily defeated, it's hardly worth the effort...

Some Site Collection not showing up (even the system pages) after upgrade

Following http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc263299.aspx I just did database upgrade from 2010 to 2013. Some of the site collections are not showing up. These are basic site collection with almost no custom code. Just bunch of list and libraries.

Yes , you need to proceed to change the authentication mode . According to your error message “Non-OAuth request. IsAuthenticated=True, UserIdentityName=, ClaimsCount=0” and “UserAgent not available, file
operations may not be optimized”, all of them can be caused by the authenticate. So make sure you have upgraded cleanly and effectively to Claims Based Authentication.

How do I highlight text in Pages - none of the menus, nor the 'Help' function seems to help...

It's tough searching for something when you can't guess the terms to use. It's called a "background color." You can choose a color from the format bar.

Pages 5.5: complete garbage, alas

Pages 5.5: a year after the Big Update. What's missing:
- facing pages (Yes, facing pages)
- non-contiguous selection of text
- hyperlinks
- bookmarks
- mail merege (really, its gone, despite what they say about applescript).
- all manner of typographic capabilities
- printable comments
- etc.
I conclude that Apple is not interest is business, in words, only in pictures and trash "music."

Yeah, I was really hoping this version would bring back some of the most important features dropped since 09 version. Pages really feels clumsy and awkward to use, probably because of its layout and usability limitations on the iPad. It's a shame that one device cripples the software from another. I understand they want both devices to work with the same files but it just seems to make them both a poor user experience.
