1 update which is not under my account??

I have an update for Angry Birds in my mac app store..
two problems..
A. I don't have Angry Birds even installed
B. If i click update it tells me this: "Sign in to [email protected] to update applications for that account."
This is not my email and never has been yet when i check my account and purchases everything is correct.. (no angry birds in my purchases just in the update under the wrong email)
Any ideas? I cannot remove this update and it's bugging me.. But not nearly as much as how it got there in the first place.

Terence, you seem to be the foremost expert on apeture and iphoto and have helped me many times in the past (thanks). I have a question that you may be able to help with (anyone also feel free to take a stab). I use blogger to upload my photos and host my blog (www.sippingespresso.com). I spend hours organzing and editing photos - namely, I will enhance and sometimes alter an image in Apeture. It always saves over the orginal file (at least for viewing purposes), which is fine by me. But then when I go to upload the photos onto blogger it seems to always pull my dull, original image. Obviously, I want the newer, bright, enhanced photo.
I'm one step away from importing them, dragging them out of iphoto and into Photoshop, then editing the files and dragging them back into iphoto, deleting the originals and uploading from there. There HAS to be a better way - please help!! I've already posted far too many boring images without the beauty of Apeture's "auto enhance".

Is there a way to get rid of grey 'waiting' icons (for app updates) which will not upload nor delete from screen?

i have a 3GS iphone and have 4 apps which will not delete. i tried to update them but when the grey icon marked "waiting" appeared on the screen, the blue bar never filled nor loaded and has sat there for a few weeks without changing. i have tried to delete the icons but once the 'jiggling' starts there is no "x" on it. i can move it around the screen but not get rid of it.

Press and Hold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button at the Same Time...
The Apple logo will Appear and then Disappear...

iTunes is installed on our Acer laptop with Windows Vista and has worked fine so far (connecting iPad, iPhone and some iPods). Who can help me make iTunes work again? Thanks for your help in advance.

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.

To expand on the 1/2-answer that Diesel gave;
The first thing you should look into is which version of iTunes you have. If you're not running iTunes 10, then you're not going to be able to update your phone past iOS 4.2.
Depending on what kind of system you're using, there are several reasons why your iTunes may be out of date:
In the Mac world, if you're not running a version of OS/X newer than 10.5.x (Leopard) then iTunes won't upgrade to the latest version (10). If you have a pre-2006 G-series processor Mac, you're pretty-much stuck at 10.4.x (Tiger) or lower and, sadly, Apple/iTunes doesn't support those machines any more. If your Mac is newer than 2006 but older than 2008, you'll likely be stuck at finding a copy of Snow Leopard (10.6.x) and you need to see your local Apple service provider to see if they can get you updated.
If you're running a Windows workstation, I believe that any Windows machine that's still running XP patched to Service Pack 2 or later should still be able to install and use iTunes 10. The system requirements can be found on the iTunes download page. If for some reason your iTunes has stopped doing its updates (or won't do them) you'll probably need to re-install iTunes. Installing over-top of the old iTunes should work and you won't loose any of your data - however, just in case, you should back-up your computer prior to making any significant changes to the software.
Now, Diesel also made the assumption that you may only have a 3G phone and not a 3Gs. To verify this not the case, plus for anyone who may be reading this and has any doubt, this link will help you identify your phone. iOS 5 and later does not support phones older than the 3Gs, and its unlikely that your cellular service provider will for very long either.

[NOT REALLY] Pacman recognizes an update which is not an update.

Hi, I've updated and compiled myself the packages for the MinGW32 system and installed them. The packages were: mingw32-binutils (from 2.19.1 to 2.20.1), mingw32-runtime (from 3.15.2 to 3.18), mingw32-w32api (from 3.13 to 3.14) and mingw32-gcc (from 4.4.0 to 4.4.3).
The first 3 packages are recognized correctly by pacman when trying to update the system, telling me that they are newer than in community, but pacman thinks that mingw32-gcc is newer in community and treats it as an update.
Why is that? Is it an bug in pacman itself?

How can I get rid of a stuck update which will not install or cancel?

I asked for updates to add-ons. One update turned out to be for McAfee Site Advisor. I restarted the computer but after restarting the update shows as "This update will be installed when Firefox is restarted" even though it had just been restarted. I tried restarting again, twice, but there is no change. I tried to cancel the install but clicking on Cancel does nothing. So I cannot install the update and I can't get rid of it. What now? The other updates were OK.

If files already have been downloaded then you need to remove the files in the updates and updates\0 folder.<br />
You can delete active-update.xml and updates.xml as well if present.

If there are problems with updating then best is to download the full version and uninstall the currently installed version.
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.
* Firefox 6.0.x: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html
* Uninstall your current Firefox version.
* Do not remove personal data when you uninstall the current version.
Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.
* It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored elsewhere in the Firefox Profile Folder and won't be affected by a reinstall, but make sure that you do not select to remove personal data if you uninstall Firefox.

I'm unable to get into my Outlook account as FF automatically loads another account which is not the primary account

I had a Hotmail account which MS has moved to an Outlook account. This account has a different username than my firstlastname. However, whenever I open Outlook; Hotmail or Windows Live, FF automatically defaults to [email protected], so that I can't access my real Outlook account. If I can't figure out how to change this default URL, I will have to (gasp!) move back to IE 11 which does let me access this other Outlook account.

First, clear your cookies for outlook.com.
Then restart Firefox and go to outlook.com. Login to the preferred account, and if that is the only outlook that you want to use in the future use the "Remember Me" feature if you are asked.

Application runs under 1 account not another.. 10.4.11

I have a G5 with 10.4.11 with multiple user accounts. I have a application which will work under 1 account but not another. I've erased and re installed the software under the account I want it to work but it still does not work. I erased the software and all the associated folders for preferences and such and it still does not work.
I've tried as well to fix permissions and set all access to read write for all users on various folders for preference and plists... still nothing. My last resort is to archive and install the OS again.
Any direction would be helpful.

I need help. i have a PO with 3 items. 2 items, able to update the ship note under Confirmation tab in item area. but the other one, when i click on confirmation tab, there's no table to update ship note and i see that indicator 'Acknowl reqd' not flag.Is it because of that? What should i do now?

You will have to input the confirmation control field value. Only then you could enter the details for the shipping notification.
Confirmation Control Key, Determines which confirmation categories are expected for a PO item (e.g. order acknowledgment, shipping notification).

there are so many FM's from SAP that are not released, so I can say, don't worry about that. I think, there are about 50 % of the SAP FM's we use, that are not released.
If th FM works fine for you, then use it. But don't use FM's that are marked as obsolete. Sometimes you can find notes in the FM docu for a successor FM or class, then use them.

I have had to create a new iTunes account. However, there are updates that were not performed while under the old account. So now when I try to update apps, it's asking for the login of the old account, which I do not have.

I have had to open a new account, however, there were App updates that did not get installed before I opened the new account. Therefore, when I try to do the updates, it's is asking for the sign-in and password for the old account, which I do not have this information.

All apps are tied to the Apple ID they are purchased with and is not transferable.
Delete these apps and download them with the new Apple ID.

You installed a hacked app, originally from the Mac App Store. It contains the receipt for a different app, downloaded using an account that you don't control. You need to identify and remove the hacked app.
Important: The app you need to remove is not necessarily the one named in the App Store alert. For example, the App Store may prompt you to update "Angry Birds" or "Twitter," but the hacked app may be something else entirely. Don't make any assumptions about which app you're looking for. To find it, you must carry out a systematic search with Spotlight.

At least one of the apps in the Spotlight search results is not among your purchases in the App Store. Move each such item to the Trash, after quitting it if it's running. You may be prompted for your administrator password. Empty the Trash.
Quit and relaunch the App Store. Test.
