  • Patch Set Release 2 (9.2.0.8) Patch Set 7 for Microsoft Windows (32-Bit)

    Hi,
    I've 2 nodes with version 9.2.0.1
    I applied a Patch Set Release 2 (9.2.0.8) Patch Set 7 for Microsoft Windows (32-Bit) on the Node 2,
    All is fine but when i try to discover N2 from N1 with OMS, i get only the HTTP Servers, and no database discovred,
    For your information, I've 2 databases on N2
    Please help me to resolve this probleme because i need to schedule some jobs.
    Regards.

    Check where you installed the 9.2.0.8 patch, in the database home or Enterprise Manager Agent's home?
    Check the compatibility between the versions of agent, database and OEM.
    Try to reinstall the (correct version) agent again in Node 1.
    If you have 2 database on Node 2, if they both uses the same Oracle database version and same home, you need to install the patch only once, but got to run the upgrade and catpatch.sql seperately in each databases.
    Hope it helps,

  • How to set release date in ipod classic

    I use my iPod Classic just for video documentaries (mostly archaeology) downloaded from my DVDs. How can I either get rid of the phrase "unknown release date" or fill out that release date.

    Got MetaX, which works! Use the original m4v-file from the computer. When entering date in MetaX, do it like 2013-04-28. Then enter the file in iTunes. Then when transferring from iTunes to the iPod, it changes to April 28, 2013. Perfect. Great product for only $9.95.

  • Product Release Date being default set to 01-Jan-2000 when exporting and importing product file

    Hi there,
    Just putting this out there to see if anyone else has experienced this problem.
    We've just redeveloped an art site that relies on the product release date to order work, newest first, by the date they added it  {tag_productlist,,,20,releasedate,true,true}
    However, we've hit an issue whereby the 'release date' field is set to 01-Jan-2000 when we export and then import the product file, thus chnaging the ordering. The date can't be set on the import file (unlike web apps) and we haven't changed thousands of products manually. BC support have been stumped, suggesting it's our Mac's system date, but this is set automatically and accurate...and we don't want to change the release date anyway, that should just be the date the product was originally released.
    Any thoughts or help would be greatfully received as this was a key part of the site design/development. This is the site http://hanguppictures.com
    Cheers
    Paul

    Ran into the same issue. I was using the release date to flag latest products, regardless of ordering. Unfortunately running a product import then destroyed all that work.
    Found this thread with a staff reponse regarding it not being possible to set release dates using import, but it doesn't explain why release dates get reset.

  • Product updates via API cause release date to be changed

    When running product updates via the eCommerce API (Product_UpdateInsert) the release dates for the updated products are being set to 02-Jan-2000. Is this happening for anyone else?
    This is kind of painful as we have a client who uses the product release dates throughout their site...

  • TV Shows Release Date

    On my ipod I noticed all my TV shows say - unknown release date - but I can't seem to find on itunes where I can manually put this information in. Is there a way to do that?
    thanks!

    You will have to use a third party software to set release dates. [Lostify|http://www.lostify.com> has the ability to set release dates. Make sure you do some reading on the program, and test it out on a copy of a file to make sure it is going to work correctly with your tv shows. It also has the ability to set the information for the "long description" field in itunes, which the other poster was asking about.

  • Distinction among  terms: Oracle Patch Set, Oracle Patch Bundle, ecc

    Hi to all,
    a customer asked me to update an Oracle database 10.1.3.0 on Windows 32 platform. THe only patches installed are **5556081** and *5557962*..
    I looked for new updated patches and I founded some Oracle Recommended Patches ID 756671.1 and Oracle Patch Bundles ID 1207176.1 for 10.2.3.0.
    Honestly I don't know how to proceed in the sense that i don't know if it is better to apply these bundle patches or to go directly to Oracle Patch Set 10.2.4.0 or 10.2.5.0 for a better update.
    What is the difference between Oracle Patch Bundle and Oracle Patch Set?? and the difference between Oracle patch Set and Oracle Patch Set Update???
    Any help will be well appreciated..I need to do this update asap
    Thanks in advance

    Pl clarify what you mean by "10.1.3.0", "10.2.3.0", "10.2.4.0" and "10.2.5.0" - there a no such Oracle versions
    I believe you mean 10.1.0.3, 10.2.0.3, 10.2.0.4 and 10.2.0.5
    If so, all of the above are patch sets on top of the base release (10.1 or 10.2). It is always recommended to update to the latest patch set release.
    Pl note that both 10.1 and 10.2 are de-supported - you should be using the latest 11gR2 version.
    Patch set updates (PSU) are additional bundled fixes on top of patch sets - see this MOS Doc

  • Current Patch Set for Oracle Database Release 11.2

    Hi
    I am upgrading oracle 10G to 11GR2 in AIX 5.3 Environment with SAP ECC6 , I have just just installled Oracle 11.2.0.1.0 according to the "Database Upgrade Guide -Upgrade to Oracle Database 11g Release 2 (11.2): UNIX". After database software installation , in upgrade manual in section 3.4.4 it says, you need to install current patch set for oracle database 11g R2 and referencing a SAP note 1431799.
    I have just read note 1431799 which says Current Patch Set for Oracle Database Release 11.2 is not generally available for SAP customers until December 2010, also I donu2019t find the note 1522330 as mentioned in 1431799.
    Please let me know how I can get current patch set to apply with Oracle 11.2.0.1.0 (Is it in SAP service market place?)
    I also want to upgrade my installation to oracle 11.2.0.2, please let me know where I get the patch set to upgrade from 11.2.0.1.0 to 11.2.0.2,
    or
    I have to live with 11.2.0.1.0 and apply SAP Bundle Patch ( SBP)

    Abu Al MAmun,
    I understand from your posts that you recently upgraded to 11.2.0.2.
    I am having the same difficulty, of finding the current patch set for 11.2. Could you please let me know how you worked around it?
    Thanks,
    Siri
    Hello Everyone,
    I did read the post on to how you have to install the current patch set for 11.2.
    But honestly, it pretty much flew over my head.
    I am trying to upgrade our SAP AIX 64 bit test system from Oracle 10.2.0.4 to 11.2.0.2.
    And so far I have downloaded all the required sw for the upgrade, except for the current patch set 11.2.
    This is what I have right now:
    1) Oracle 11.2 AIX 64 bit upgrade sw - 51038805_part 1 to 51038805_part 7 and 51039800.
    2) Database Patches -->Oracle 11.2.0.2 -->
    All they have here is
    a. Database RDMBS - SAP_112020_201012_AIX.zip and b. SAP_112020_201101_AIX.zip
    b. OPatch - OPatch_11201_Generic_v3.zip and mopatch-2_1_6.zip
    c. Database Vault - DV - >Generic - p9656644_112020_Generic.zip
    If I am not wrong, the Database RDBMS files are nothing but the SAP Bundle Patches that have to be installed after installing the currrent patch set 11.2.0.2 using MOPatch.
    But I did not find the currrent patch set 11.2.0.2.
    Could someone please explain the process to me in detail? This being my first time , I am finding it a bit hard to catch up with some of the stuff.
    Thank You!
    Siri

  • How to set JDBC Data Sources in Oracle MapViewer for Oracle database 12c Release 1 (12.1.0.1)

    How to set JDBC Data Sources in Oracle MapViewer for Oracle database 12c Release 1 (12.1.0.1)?
    The following is my configuration in the conf\mapViewerConfig.xml:
    <map_data_source name="mvdemo12"
    jdbc_host="127.0.0.1"
    jdbc_sid="orcl12c1"
    jdbc_port="1522"
    jdbc_user="mvdemo"
    jdbc_password="7OVl2rJ+hOYxG5T3vKJQb+hW4NPgy9EN"
    jdbc_mode="thin"
    number_of_mappers="3"
    allow_jdbc_theme_based_foi="true"
    editable="true"/>
    <!--  ****  -->
    But it does not work.
    After use "sqlplus mvdemo/[email protected]:1522/pdborcl", it connected to the Oracle database 12c.
    Does anyone know it?
    Thanks,

    For 11.1.1.7.1 use the syntax for jdbc_sid, i.e.
    //mypdb1.foo.com as described in the README,
    - MapViewer native (non-container) data sources can now use database service name in place of SID. To supply a db service name, you will use the same jdbc_sid attribute, but specify the service name with double slashes in front, such as follows:
      <map_data_source name="myds"
        jdbc_host="foo.com"
        jdbc_sid="//mypdb1.foo.com"
        jdbc_port="1522"
      />
    For 11.1.1.7.0 use a container_ds instead.
    i.e. instead of using
    <map_data_source name="my_12c_test"
                       jdbc_host="mydbinstance"
                       jdbc_sid="pdborcl12c"
                       jdbc_port="1522"
                       jdbc_user="mytestuser"
                       jdbc_password="m2E7T48U3LfRjKwR0YFETQcjNb4gCMLG8/X0KWjO00Q="
                       jdbc_mode="thin"
                       number_of_mappers="6"
                       allow_jdbc_theme_based_foi="false"
                       editable="false"
       />
    use
      <map_data_source name="my_12c_test"
                       container_ds="jdbc/db12c"
                       number_of_mappers="6"
                       allow_jdbc_theme_based_foi="false"
                       editable="false"
       />
    In my case the Glassfish 3.1.2.2 JDBC connection pool definition was
    Property
    url  jdbc:oracle:thin:@mydbinstance:1522/pdborcl12c.rest_of.service.name
    Uncheck the Wrap JDBC Objects option in Advanced panel, i.e. the Edit JDBC Connection Pool Advanced properties page.
    Add a JDBC resource for that newly created pool
    Use that in mapviewerconfig.xml as above

  • Is forms 10g Patch set 3 (10.1.2.3)  released?

    Hi All,
    I checked metalink for information regarding Patch set 3 (10.1.2.3) and could see none.
    Is this released yet?
    Thanks
    Rajesh ALex

    Regarding the size:
    There are almost 1200 fixes in the code line and this means that a lot of the code is being touched by fixes, making the patch set large. Since we don't patch individual components any longer we have this situation. It would be good to have a smaller footprint but in the mean time I recommend a download manager to handle the case of an interrupted download.<br>
    I tried a download manager the other day called Free Download Manager. It worked really well and it is free as the name implies. I pulled out the network cable to simulate a break and it happily continued from where it left off when the network went down. Until Oracle does what Sun does: incorporate a download manager into the downloads this is a good solution to the problem of interrupted downloads that you have to start from the beginning with.

  • Release date set to 1/5/11 for all podcasts and iTunes U files

    I have an ongoing problem with iTunes on my MacBook Pro where the release date is set to 1/5/11 for all podcasts and iTunes U files. Although I can seemingly correctly sort by release date, the date is the same across all files. Can someone advise as to how I might go about correcting this such that the actual, proper, release date is shown? Thanks in advance for the help! - mvrb

    @King_Penguin thanks for your help
    See below some additional info:
    I have 3 Macs:
    1 X MBPr 2012 (OS X 10.9.1
    1 X MBPr 2012 (OS X 10.8.5)
    1 X iMac 2009 (OS X 10.8.5)
    1) All 3 Macs have access to same accounts and have same apps in iTunes.
    2) Problem is only found on both MBPr's 2012 with one NL and 1 US account. With one NL account (inactive) I have no issue on all three.
    FYI I have multiple iTunes accounts: 2 for the Netherlands and 1 for US.
    I also tried this after deleting the only 2 apps I got from the US iTunes Store but that did not solve my issue.
    I think the matter is related to my iTunes account(s) and NOT to a computer (prefs file)

  • Oracle 10g release 2 patch set 3

    Oracle 10g release 2 patch set 3 is for 10.2.0.4. Can this patch be applied to Oracle enterprise 10.2.0.3? Thanks.

    Oracle 10g release 2 patch set 3 is for 10.2.0.4. Can
    this patch be applied to Oracle enterprise 10.2.0.3?
    Thanks.Always read the README to verify.
    In general a patchset can be applied to the base and any lower patchset.
    So 10.2.0.4 should, unless warned otherwise for your specific configuration, be applicable to any of 10.2.0.1, 10.2.0.2 and 10.2.0.3

  • 10g Release 2 (10.2.0.4) Patch Set 3 for Linux x86 is available

    For all those who were in need of some bug fixing, maybe it has been patched in 10g Release 2 (10.2.0.4) Patch Set 3 for Linux x86, which is now available for download.

    Hello Srini, thanks for your answer.
    I haven´t Oracle Dataguard, I have a disk replication with other supplier, for this reason, I need to know the files that will be modified, because if the patch modifies a file that I haven´t on replication, I will have problems.
    Thanks again.

    Download and Extract the Installation Software
    To download and extract the patch set installation software:
    1. Download the p3761843_10103_AIX64-5L.zip patch set installation archive to a directory that is not the Oracle home directory or under the Oracle home directory.
    2. Enter the following commands to unzip and extract the installation files:

  • Patch  6867054 to 6810189 (10g Release 2 (10.2.0.4) Patch Set 3 )

    I'd like to go from 6867054 to 6810189 on Windows 32 bit machine. Can I just run the 6810189 setup.exe OR are there any intermediate patches to install.
    Opatch lsinventory is showing this:
    Interim patches (1) :
    Patch 6867054 : applied on Fri May 02 11:00:16 EDT 2008
    Created on 14 Apr 2008, 10 02 56 hrs
    Bugs fixed:
    Thanks.

    Hi.
    As I understand you want to upgrade to the patch set 3, in other words to 10.2.0.4.
    yes, you can use setup.exe for this. This patch set could be installed on any release starting from 10.2.0.1, regardless of the previous patch set, or interim patch's installed.
    I would recommend to read patch set installation instructions carefully, you can find all the information on read notes there.
    Make sure you backed up your current oracle home, oracle inventory and oracle database directories(i.e. datafiles).
    Patch sets and interim patches are cumulative, they themselves manages previously installed patch sets or interim patches. but patch bundles are specific for base patch sets.
