10.1.102.64 doesn't display some videos in StdUser Acc

OS: Windows 7 32-bit.
2 users : Administrator Account and Standard Account
Browser: IE 8
Everything was working fine with the previous version of flash. However, upon installing the lastest version 10.1.102.64, some web-based flash content (and videos)  does not work under the Standard account.
While the Standard User account works normally with youtube and http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ shows "You have version 10,1,102,64 installed", it can't get some websites to sites to display flash content and videos. (www.narutoget.com for example where the kids used to watch).
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling (sigh!) and made everything is ok with "Global Storage Settings Panel". etc. disabling "hardware acceleration", checked IE's Privacy and Security settings and what not. It doesn't solve the problem
However, if I just turn the Standard Account to Administrator Account, then the problem gets solved (without doing anything further). But I wouldn't want that, 2 users have been created in the first place for obvious reasons. And if it was working fine previously, I can't understand why the latest version shouldn't.
Also I went throught this post http://forums.adobe.com/thread/756044?tstart=0 which has similar problems and the guy had to downgrade to a lower version to fix the problem.
So guys, what is the solution?

There was a solution for this posted a few weeks ago, but I honestly don't remember it.  Try to search this forum for 'limited account'.

    Firefix doesn't display some kind of pictures in the google+. I've tried an advice from support but problem still exists (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/fix-problems-images-not-show).
    Other internet browser shows these pictures correct. It seems to me the problem concerns .bmp files
    as I unvestigated searching other browsers.

    If you use extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) that can block content (e.g. Adblock Plus, NoScript, Flash Block, Ghostery) then make sure that such extensions aren't blocking content.
    Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
    *Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
    *Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

  • Safari doesn't display some title text on websites properly...

    Hi, I get strange problems on Safari. Safari doesn't display title text on some websites. It is replaced with some mathematical fonts like small numbers, figures and etc... But it happens to only title text. All other body text is fine. I thought fonts caused this issue, then I checked duplicated ones and deleted related files from preferences, cleared cache, reset Safari and rebooted. However I didn't get any luck...
    Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

    You haven't given enough details to reproduce or attempt a solution. What website(s) are you visiting that exhibit this problem, and when did it start? Have you tried setting up a new user account and testing those sites in that account? Did you attempt to visit those sites using another browser such as Camino or Firefox to see if the problem manifests itself in either of those?
    Post back with details.

    I've noticed that on some pages, Firefox doesn't display certain text. I have the newest version of Firefox installed and my flash and java are updated. The text displays fine on Chrome and IE. Please see my example in the screenshots of the stevenson.edu webpage. Does anybody know what I can do to fix this problem or if there is some sort of plugin I am missing to display certain content? Thanks.

  • Front Row doesn't display masked videos correctly

    I have an Mpeg2 file (640x480) that I've masked using Quicktime Pro so that it removes the black letterboxing (625x362). When I play the video back using quicktime, it displays fine, taking up the full width of my screen and not quite filling the height.
    However, when I play the same file back in Front row, it takes up the full height, and doesn't quite take up the full width. However, the letterboxing has been removed, so the result is that my video plays back kinda "skinny".
    Am I doing something blonde? Is this expected behavior?

    Hello there,
    this maybe not will answer your question, but it explains issues with missing artwork in front row i've experienced.
    2 albums of my collection refused to display their artwork in front row (these artworks were displaying perfectly fine in itunes, coverflow, finder songs icons and ipods off course).
    After trying different things like deleting & replacing artwork, changing size of picture, and so on, nothing changed so i felt really disappointed...
    until....I remembered that i have created an itunes music store "wishing list", with 2 songs of these 2 albums. After deleting these 2 songs from the wishing list, everything is back to normal, and front row display correctly the artwork..
    thank you for reading, and hope it will help some of you guys.

  • RH-generated WebHelp doesn't display some CSS styles

    I've worked with RH for a while, including creating other WebHelp projects in RH that have been deployed without any problem. On my current RH9 project, however, some of the CSS styles are not being applied after the project output is moved to a network directory. When I open the project output on my Desktop, the styles all render correctly.
    The styles in question aren't especially unusual:
    DIV.text {
              width: 640px;
              padding-left: 25px;
              padding-right: 25px;
              padding-bottom: 25px;
              margin-left: auto;
              margin-right: auto;
              background-color: #EDEBDE;
    P.footer {
              text-align: center;
              font-size: 8pt;
              line-height: 25%;
              color: #A13619;
    The kicker is that some of the styles ARE being applied (e.g., background image), while the 2 styles above are NOT being applied.
    Some of the things I've already tried include:
    - creating a new copy of the CSS file
    - making sure the correct stylesheet is referenced in the HTML files
    - making sure the correct stylesheet is referenced in the MasterPage
    - making sure the correct CSS type is specified in the HTML files
    - adding "!important" to the styles that aren't being applied
    Has anyone seen / resolved issues like this before?
    Thanks!

    Solution:
    My supervisor and I huddled on the problem and eventually found these discussions:
    http://stackoverflow.com/questions/4966952/ie-not-rendering-css-properly-when-the-site-is- located-at-networkdrive
    http://stackoverflow.com/questions/167657/will-targeting-ie8-with-conditional-comments-wor k#answer-168131
    I opened the IE Tools > Developer Tools panel, and used the Browser Mode settings to check the variations (IE7, IE8, and IE8 Compatibility). IE8 displayed all DIVs correctly, while the other two apparently severed the CSS file from the HTM file.
    I had to do a mass find/replace, pasting another meta tag below the RH generated compatibility check:
    <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=8" />
    And there was much rejoicing.
    As an aside, the new meta tag did not work when I tried to apply it to the Master Page....which makes sense, I guess.

  • Aperture doesn't display some managed masters

    My Aperture 3.5.1 library has 11,000 referenced masters plus  1000 managed masters (mostly images saved from shared photo streams). Recently, Aperture has started listing some of the managed masters as missing. I replace them from backups but then other managed masters go missing (usually just after I import some new managed images). Referenced masters never go missing.  I have tried all three library repair options including rebuilding the database, but the problem keeps recurring. I've checked the drive with Disk Utility and found no problems.
    Today, I tried using "Relocate Masters" to move all 1000 managed masters to a folder on the same drive and then discovered that the Masters folder in the library package still contained over 3000 photos that had not been moved and are not displayed by Aperture when I search for managed masters. Presumably, these are the files that went missing. Rebuilding the library located 16,0000 versons in the progress bar but the final rebuilt library displays only 12,000 versions even with all stacks open and "Showing All".
    I'm tempted to manually drag the 3000 "forgotton"  masters from the Masters folder using the Finder and then try a rebuild. Everything else is working and I have Time Machine and other backups available in case this causes major problems. Alternatively, I could just leave the 1.6 GB of orphaned files alone and stop using managed masters entirely.
    Any ideas on why these managed files are not recognized by Aperture?

    I think I have figured out where the “orphaned" photos in the managed masters folder came from.
    To recapitulate: I emptied the Masters folder inside the library package by using finder to drag all images to the system trash and then emptied the trash.
    I then rebuilt the Aperture library. When I turned on iCloud in Aperture preferences it spent 30 minutes downloading the shared photo streams from my children.
    Each photo stream was copied to the Aperture Masters folder in its own folder. Example:
    Only the single image in the top folder (which corresponds to “My Photo Stream”) shows up when I search for managed masters in Aperture. The others are hidden from the user. Thus, the images from the shared photo streams ARE NOT MANAGED FILES despite being in the Masters folder.  This appears to be by design.
    When I unsubscribe from a shared photo stream, the corresponding folder is deleted from the managed masters folder.  Thus, Aperture in OS X appears to use the managed-masters folder for temporary storage of shared streams.  I suspect that the database that keeps track of these files may have become corrupted in my library. We’ll see if deleting these files and rebuilding the library fixes the problem.
    These same photo stream images were also downloaded to the user Library at ~/Users/dickweis/Library/Application\ Support/iLifeAssetManagement/assets/sub/. However, there are many older images in this location that have not been modified in years and were not deleted when I deleted the contents of my photo stream and turned off iCloud sharing in Aperture.
    Léonie, you previously advised using Aperture to delete these files (see https://discussions.apple.com/message/19375439#19375439). However, most of these files are no longer accessible to Aperture or iPhoto and appear to be orphans. If I continue to have problems, I will be tempted to drag these to the system trash to see if it helps (I have saved the images I want to keep). Any advice here would be welcome.

  • Totem doesn't reproduce some videos and it should

    Hello, since I can't use VLC at the moment, I tried totem (Also, I wanted totem for nautilus thumbnails).
    Im having a weird behaviour. I have a folder with 400+ files, two kind of them, .mp4 and .mkv.
    It reproduces like 90% of every kind, but the other 10% does not.
    That's what I got:
    $ totem One\ Piece\ 145\ \[Shichibukai\]\ \[x.264-AAC\]\ \[0BF7B79A\].mp4
    (totem:14272): libpeas-WARNING **: grilo: libgrilo-0.1.so.0: no se puede abrir el fichero del objeto compartido: No existe el fichero o el directorio
    (totem:14272): libpeas-WARNING **: Could not load plugin module: 'grilo'
    (totem:14272): libpeas-WARNING **: Error loading plugin 'grilo'
    That video is working, even when I got those warnings (I tried installing grilo + grilo-plugins and no changes).
    I tried another one, no luck.

    Any ideas? Thanks.

    Hi,
    the problem comes from the gstreamer plugin /usr/lib/gstreamer-0.10/libgstvideoparsersbad.so (gstreamer0.10-bad) after deleting the file everything works as expected.

  • Flash Media Encoder Doesn't display my video input from my All-in-Wonder 2006 AGP card

    I have a All-in-Wonder 2006 AGP video card that has multiple video inputs. I got Flash Media Live Encoder to see my video card but when I connected one of the many video inputs it would not display in Flash encoder video preview. The audio did not come through either. I'm running in Win XP and the video card model number I believe is All in Wonder 2006 AGP 256M NA.

    What is the output format of this card? Is it encoded such as mpeg-2 or raw?

  • I bought a genuine apple digital av adapter and it only displays some videos from my iphone 4 to my tv

    I Can not get my iphone 4 to play through my tv with a genuine apple digital av adapter on just one video site. Does the av adapter support many video formats or not?? Please help

    Have you tried resetting the iPod:
    Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
    button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

  • My iPod doesn't display certain videos, it only plays the sound.

    The files are in .mp4 format. I have them in my iTunes as well. I tried to play them in there and I have the same problem. However, in iTunes the files have a thumbnail picture. I have managed to play all of the files in Media Player. They work fine with that.
    How do I get the picture back?

    If these files do not play properly in iTunes, then that indicates a problem with the actual file.  Did you use any sort of video conversion software to create these MP4's?  If so, what program was it?  Perhaps you should re-encode them to MP4 again using another great program such as Handbrake.

  • I can't import some videos onto my mac...

    iPhoto doesn't detect some videos on my sd card/sony hdr-cx220 HD camcorder and imovie has the ones that iphoto doesn't detect greyed out... I think it's the videos that were shot in 60p framerate because the ones before have imported easily...

    ?Do you have a problem with playback of the video?
    The 60i video looks like crap when played back in iPhoto, but look good when played back in Quicktime after i saved all files to a separate folder.
