10.1.3 ORABPEL-10508 Realm is not found

Hi,
I installed 10.1.3 BPEL Mid-Tier version and am using OeacleXE as database. Everything was working fine until when I tried to configure it with OID and it messed up everything even though followed the document (http://download-west.oracle.com/docs/cd/B31017_01/integrate.1013/b28982/service_config.htm#sthref280) to configure BPEL 10.1.3 Mid-Tier with OID 10.1.2. The ant task completed successfully and the users got created in OID. But when I try to log-into worklist it's giving the following error:
<2007-06-26 00:17:43,843> <ERROR> <oracle.bpel.services.workflow> <::> Realm is not found.

I went to http://localhost:7781/integration/services/IdentityService/configuration and getDefaultRealm returns me "localhost" which is correct.
getConfiguration returns the following:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<env:Envelope xmlns:env="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:ns0="http://xmlns.oracle.com/bpel/services/IdentityService"><env:Body><configuration xmlns="http://www.oracle.com/pcbpel/identityservice/isconfig" ans1:realmName="localhost" xmlns:ans1="http://www.oracle.com/pcbpel/identityservice/isconfig" ans1:displayName="localhost Realm"><ans1:provider service="Identity" name="OID" providerType="JAZN"><ans1:connection encrypted="true" password="2Rnae28cgsA=" binddn="cn=orcladmin" url="ldap://localhost:389"/></ans1:provider></configuration></env:Body></env:Envelope>
Now when I do getUsers I get the above error Realm not found.
Now When I go to BPEL Console and trys to login I get the following error:
No domains accessible to the user logged in.
So basically all my installed is messed without any reason even I followed exactly what the documentation says. It's really a pain. Can someone from please help me why I am getting the above error. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

Hi!
I had a similar error. Have a look at http://achatzia.blogspot.com/2007/05/using-oid-with-soa-suite.html or http://achatzia.blogspot.com/2007/05/setting-security-providers.html and http://achatzia.blogspot.com/2007/05/repair-remove-oid-security-provider.html
Maybe this helps.

  • ORABPEL-10508 Login Worklist w/ SSO

    Has anyone been able to login the worklist app with SSO? I installed the BPM on a 10.1.2.0.2 mid tier that was configured with IM.
    I followed all of the post install steps and I can't login to the worklist. I guess I'll open a TAR.
    I'm getting this in the log:
    <2006-03-17 14:28:40,489> <ERROR> <default.collaxa.cube.services> <PCException::<init>> Realm is not found.

    OK, I found it. Unfortunately, It took the better part of a day to figure out.
    When I was initially troubleshooting a deployment issue(before this issue), I changed the connections from SSL to non-SSL in the ORACLE_HOME/j2ee/OC4J_BPEL/config/jazn.xml file. I changed the port back to 389 and removed the <property name="ldap.protocol" value="ssl"/>
    element.
    For some reason, despite removing that particular element, it was still trying to connect with SSL. Since the LDAP service running on 389 is non-SSL, I was getting that error listed above(misleading).
    When I turned up the logging level to "Debug" for collaxa.cube.services, I was able to discover the problem(listed below). So, I changed the port back to 636, and the worklist app worked.

    Hi Wim
    You should say that "It may be Control File problem", but you shouldn't say that "it's due to Control File" problem
    Please refer to Errors Documentation for more information on ORA-00600

    I dont know if it is a good thing i copy an init.ora file to initCHUCKY.ora and now database is using it I have just changed some values in it like control files dbname ... that were pointing to another database maybe this is why i dont manage to get this database runing.
    Now i am stucked I dunno what to do

    I am so new to it as i understand the listener is working if i beliave what reports tnsping
    As I understand the database is started

    I made a tcpdump i saw the data is comong on localhost port 1521
    Synthese I think the listener is runing, the database too, it is making a listen on 1521 port , when I try to connect data arrives on the right interface.
    But I can't login by

    I dunno what is this fuckin shared memoryThis fuckin shared memory is how oracle does interprocess communication. When you connect to Oracle, you have to connect to this area. If you tell it the wrong area, it won't find it. You can see the areas with the ipcs command on the server. Since you can connect locally, but can't connect remotely, there is something wrong with how you told Oracle to connect remotely. Remotely can be on the same host if you have an @ in the connect string.
    >
    env | grep ORACLE
    ORACLE_SID=CHUCKY
    ORACLE_BASE=/home/oracle
    ORACLE_HOME=/home/oracle/u01/app/oracle/oracle/product/10.2.0/db_1/
    seems like my variables are good.
    Well I dunno what to do I didn't think getting a simple login locally over tcp/ip would be so difficult, I am afraid of what will happen after this will work :) As it should be one of the easiest things on oracle what about the hardest :)Well, first try removing the trailing slash from ORACLE_HOME everywhere, including if you have it in the listener.ora. Then compare the tnsnames.ora ORACLE_HOME with your environment ORACLE_HOME. In fact, if you have a listener.ora, try renaming it to something else and restarting the listener.
    That error is normally due to a bad ORACLE_HOME or ORACLE_SID. Since your tnsping works, that indicates the ORACLE_HOME is good. But all that tells you is that the listener responds. Other causes may be inadequate processes in init.ora or case issues with the sid, or just generally not following the installation instructions. But are there installation instructions for debian?
    With multiple databases on one host, some kernel parameters may need to be increased.

  • ERROR - ORA-01034: shared memory realm does not exist

    Hallo!I am a newbie in Oracle in Linux.I have just installed Oracle 10g in Oracle Eenterprise Linux version 4 Update 7.The installation was successful and I could
    work with sqlplus,isqlplus and Enterprise Manager.When I restarted my machine,I manually started the listener,OEM and isqlplus which started successfully.
    However,when I try to log into OEM and isqlplus,the error message below appears
    ERROR - ORA-01034: ORACLE not available ORA-27101: shared memory realm does not exist Linux Error: 2: No such file or directory
    How do I resolve this?
    Thanks.

    ERROR - ORA-01034: ORACLE not available ORA-27101: shared memory realm does not exist Linux Error: 2: No such file or directory An Oracle instance consists of a number of Oracle server processes (the limbs) and a shared memory area (the brain). Each and every server process participating in that Oracle instance needs to attach to the shared memory area.
    The error message you see, states that the server process (launched in order to service your sqlplus/OEM client), failed to find and attach to this shared memory segment.
    Two basic reasons for the failure.
    The Oracle instance is not running. There are no shared memory area and Oracle server processes running for that instance. Solution: start up the database instance.
    The server process was launched with the incorrect parameters (ORACLE_SID specifically) and attempted to attach to shared memory that does not exist. Solution: review the TNS/JDBC parameters of the client connection and configuration of the Oracle Listener to ensure that a server process launched to service a client, does so with the correct parameters and environment.

    Hi
    We mostly receive this error message ( ORA-27101: shared memory realm does not exist and ORA-01139)
    When our SGA_MAX_SIZE is greater than 1.7 G.b on
    You again configure your sga size

    Hope your database will work correctly.
    for test purpose you set all your init.ora parameter

    db_keep_cache_size=64m
    db_recycle_cache_size=16m

    sga_max_size will not be grater than combination of of db_cache_size db_keep_cache_size,db_recycle_cache_sizejava_pool_size+share_pool_size+share_pool_reserved_size
    Hope it will work fine.

    When you redeploy the application the parent-application which is orabpel is always lost, you can adjust this by manually adding the parent-application tag to the configuration file.
    Check out my blog for more details regarding deployment of User Interfaces (such as the Worklist application) to the Bpel Proces Manager.
    This was already a problem in BPEL 10.1.2 i would have thought this would have been fixed by now? Maybe it would be better to create a Service Request for this, so Oracle will take this into consideration?

    Using SiteMinder 5.5 on WebLogic 8.1 sp5
    When & if I set all my realms as protected then I am unable to startup my servers and get the folowing error:
    We are trying to setup (as in intergrate SiteMinder with Savvion) SiteMinder v2 with weblogic 8.1 sp 5. We have appropriately included the references to variours siteminder related jars as per Netegrity's ASA document. We aren't using any webserver, instead wewould be using launching page (which be a protected resource). The following is the installation, configuration, and testing information related to various siteminder components:
    SiteMinder Identity Asserter (IA) - installed, configured & tested successfully.
    SiteMinder Authentication Provider - installed, configured & test result -> Unsuccessful.
    SiteMinder Authorziation provider - installed, configured & test result -> Unsuccessful.
    Has anyone seen anything similar to the following? My guess on the above is that it looks like it is trying initialise siteminder stuff every time we start each of the servers(admin, ejb and portal). Since the initialisation happens for the 1st time) when the admin server is started, an error is thrown complaining about not being to initialise when we start either portal or ejb after that. If this is true then is there a way around this problem?
    The Admin Server starts fine. But when we try to start either of the ejb or portal server, we get the following error:

    but it just says it cannot repair due to another program being installed.
    I'd like to have a closer look at that error message please.
    Generate the error message again. While the error message box is open, hold down the Alt key and hit the PrtSc key. Paste the screenshot into an image file (using a program like Paint), and save the file.
    Start a reply here and click the wee camera icon at the top of the reply window. Click "Choose file", browse to the image file, select the file and click "Open". Now click "Insert file" to insert the screenshot into the reply.
