10.3 OS Upgrade error. An error has occurred while downloading software for your device. Please verify your internet connection or try again later
HELP ! HELP ! HELP ! "An error has occurred while downloading software for your device. Please verify your internet connection or try again later, if the problem persists." appears while attempting to upgrade or install BlackBerry Device Software. upgrading my Z10 OS to 10.3 on both (link & web). but facing same problem again and again. plz help. internet speed is 1mbps and working fine.
I suggest you try the very clean and very forceful AutoLoader method:
http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/BlackBerry-10-OS-Device-Software/Upgrading-OS10-devices-using...
Beware that it is completely destructive...the device will be "like new"...no data, no apps, no accounts, etc. Be sure you take a full backup first, as well as make full manual documentation of all apps, accounts, configurations, etc. Sometimes a restore reintroduces the very corruption one is trying to eliminate, and manual reconfiguration is necessary.
You can also use this to fall back to a prior OS if you desire...you can install any OS level for which you can find an AutoLoader. (Hint...search over on the CB site!)
Good luck and let us know!

please help!!
Iam trying to update my playbook 16GB but each time i accept and try to apply the update i get a pop up in middle of screen saying:
An error has occured while downloading software for your device. Please verify your internet connection or try again later, if the problem persists.
now this is driving me insane no matter what i try it doesnt seem to manage to get past this step of the update!!
Has anybody got ANY tips or advice please!!Without knowing if you have received an update before it's difficult to be sure. The last update was feb 2013 so don't know why you need an update, unless it's a wipe or a repair.
Lets assume you live in the "western world" then try a friend's house or a free wifi spot to do the update. it's easy for playbook to get upset with router wifi settings.

I have been using iTunes for years to connect to the radio and just recently tried to tune in and an error sign pops up stating " A error occurred while contracting the radio tunning service. Check your internet connection or try again later." There's no problrm with my internet service so what's up?
You are probably using an old version of iTunes with which the stream link service seems to have stopped working for many users of older iTunes. No, Apple makes no comment about this kind of thing. It may reappear, it may not (it has been dead for over a week now). Your solution is to upgrade the operating system version on your computer from 10.5.8 to 10.6.8 so you can run a newer iTunes, or live without. You can still open streams if you can get the URL, and you can then save them as playlist items.

For over a week,I get the following message everytime I have tried to connect to ITunes Radio..."An error occurred while contacting the radio tuning service. Check your Internet connection, or try again later." My internet connection is excellent & strong & "LATER " has been over a week. Any help or suggestions?? It would be much appreciated, thanks
Somebody suggested clearing the Store cache. I don't know why that would affect the radio. Seems to have not worked for some, worked for a few or maybe they imagined it. Many other posts about this if you browse the forum.
This is happening to some people some of the time in some places, but then not affecting people in other places, or in the same place at different times. You try to guess what is going on. Hasn't happened to me. Maybe it's my iTunes 7.5, or maybe it's luck of the draw since I never use iTunes radio.

Oh, don't expect Apple to say anything about this -- that's not their style. -

An error occurred while contacting the radio tuning service. Check your Internet connection, or try again later. Is anyone getting this msg when trying to obtain a radio station?
Check the More Liike This box oon the right, or do a search of this forum.
Radio seems to have issues now. -
Error comes up in iTunes on check for updates "The iTunes update server could not be contacted. Please check your internet connection, or try again later." Currently connected to the internet, on HP Laptop running latest version of Windows 7.
I get the same problem running the diagnostics. Says network connections are present and in the green, but unable to connect to iTunes Store.I downloaded the Microsoft Autoruns package and ran it. There are no programs in the LSA Providers tab, and Apple's Bonjour is the only program in the Winsock Providers tab. I also did the "netsh winsock reset" and rebooted. It didn't fix the problem. Any more ideas?

While Apple tries to figure out what's wrong I came upon a great workaround for those of us that like the radio feature of iTunes. This actually doesn't take long either.
When trying to expand the categories you get the error "An error occurred while contacting the radio tuning service. Check your Internet connection, or try again later." This happens enough to think that the service is completely broken. Actually, it seems intermittent. Try clicking it a few times. you WILL GET THROUGH. When you do get there, highlight all of the stations(or just the ones you want), create a playlist (I use the name of the category as I take the entire list), and paste into the playlist. You can then play the stations EVERY TIME from the playlist. Works perfectly.
It doesn't seem to have anything to do with what version of iTunes you have or what plugin you have. I have seen this on over 600 computers - Windows & MAC - and the workaround is 100%.
Let me know how you make out. And, PLEASE SHARE THIS FIX!!!Yes indeed, this workaround was posted a few days ago at https://discussions.apple.com/message/17739684

Question: I am getting this message from iTunes on my iMac:
An error occurred while contacting the radio tuning service. Check your Internet connection, or try again later.
Can't find a way to fix this. Does anyone have any suggestions?Yeaaaah... I just powered up my G3 iMac... iTunes 7 on there... My iTunes on there can't do much. But it's still subscribed to one podcast that's still valid and working. If I try to use the radio, I get this message. I wager they changed urls and the like in the background years ago and this is just so old there's no longer any support for it.

ITunes radio was working last night and now today I get the message "An error occurred while contacting the radio tuning service. Check your internet connection, or try again later"
What's up?Two things to try, first, reset your PRAM.
Next, try rebooting your computer.

HT4463 "An error has occurred" while downloading software on appstore
I have been attempting to resume a download. I received the (unhelpful) message that "an error has occurred" and once I attempted to download it again the install/download button went blank and unresponsive. I've tried opening the debug menu and removing the files from the dowload folder and starting again and I get the same problem again.
Give it a week, there's been server issues for that long.
