Exactly what do you mean when you say norton?
Most of Norton was dropped two years ago. The only piece that still works is NAV. In order to get that to work it must be version 10.
Personally, I no longer have anything from Symantec on my Mac. If I can't do it with software from somewhere else, it is going to be done on my system.

You need to look at Mac's iTunes, check  > System Preferences > iCloud.
If you use iCloud for Calendar, Contacts then turn off those items in iTunes, Info tab with your iPhone connected and selected.

Make sure that EVERY DETAIL is the same in every place you enter your information

Upgrading and changing operating system

Hi,
I want to make a change to a Apple Mac in a few months. I also want to upgrade my Lightroom 2.7 to 3.0. What is the best I can do:
First upgrade Lightroom in my Windows systeem and then change my operating system.
First change operating system and then upgrade.
Can someone tell me which option is most save? I don't want the import of my image catalog to go wrong.

Recently, I upgraded to Mountain Lion. As i mainly use my computer for digital imaging, I have mainly picture files stored in documents. I am often taking image files out of folders and dropping them on my desktop. For quickness, before i upgraded, my Mac used to copy the file automatically, leaving one in a folder, whilst at the same time dropping an image onto the desktop. It did this as I dragged it out of the folder. Now, since upgrading, it doesn't do this anymore. So when i've finished with an image i am putting it in the trash, assuming there is one in still in my folders. So i am losing images. I find edit> copy>paste command each time, too time consuming. This simple task is now a bit of a chore. How do I get my computer to do automatically keep a copy in the folder, once dragged on to desk top?

Yes it does work if I hold the ALT key whilst clicking and dropping. Which is better than edit>copy>paste. However, before i upgraded I did not have to hold the ALT key, the computer did it automatically. I still have to remember to hold the key. Also, I over use the ALT key as it is. It is the main key for cloning (rubber stamping) in photoshop. This will be the first key to stop working on my keyboard, so I don't want to give it too much extra use. I need the Mac to automatically copy my image files without holding a key down. It means I can't work as quick as I used to and I am losing too many images this way. Is there are way of making an action, a shortcut command for 'ALT' copying? I presume this it what I had it like before.

I have just upgraded to Mavericks and have been using Time Machine on an external disk with Snow Leopard. Can I continue to backup with Time Machine on the same external disk or do I need a new disk since the operating system has changed?

I found that Time Machine in Mavericks will sort it all out for you. You shouldn't need to buy another backup drive, unless you have insufficient space left and can't afford to delete whats on there. It should just work fine.

Everything you've had up to now has been tied to your old Apple ID. You cannot switch it over to a new Apple ID. You should contact iTunes support to help you with this:

Since upgrading to Mail 7.0 the menu popup from right clicking an element in an email has changed.

Since upgrading to Mail 7.0 the menu popup from right clicking an element in an email has changed. There is now only a short three item menu:
Previously there was a longer menu (like the one when right clicking an item on a Safari page):
I've looked in Preferences and at all the Mail dropdown items but can't find any way to get the old menu back (or why it changed). In particular, I miss the "copy image" item which allowed me to copy an item image into a new email for forwarding. I've got two email accounts, an IMAP and a POP. The behavior is the same with both.
Any ideas?

Your screen shots are not visible to me. But I think I understand your question.
Several thoughts come to mind:

You can still, of course, simply forward the entire email message containing the image.
You could also use the "Save Attachment ..." feature available when you right click and copy and paste from there once the image is saved.
Less likely, you could also use the "Share" feature available when you right click, though I suspect it may not offer sharing options that you would like.

What was the keyboard language BEFORE and what it is NOW ? Did you use SAME KB language for both Windows 7 and Windows 8 ? When click to the KB (bottom right corner) what do you see ? This is mine:

have you deleted the account and re-added it? Have you done a reset or restore as outlined in the iPhone user guide? What troubleshooting have you done?

Since upgrade to CC 2014 Saving size has changed.

When I was working in Photoshop before my upgrade to 2014, I would resize my projects to 2 X 2 at 300dpi, and 9 or 10 and it would save it around 240K or slightly higher. All of a sudden it's saving it as 1.0M instead. I can't load this size into my store. I have no clue what happened, as I have not changed a single thing that I do. My original 12 X 12 files that it starts out as has changed to. Please help. No clue what the heck happened.

JPEG format uses lossy compression and the file size is highly dependent on the image content. It sounds like you are using JPEG original files since both the original and resized JPEG export files are larger. Images with more detail will have larger file sizes at the same quality setting. Here are some good examples:

In addition images shot at high ISO camera setting that have visible noise will inflate the file size. Use PS/ACR or LR's Noise Reduction tools to reduce the visible noise when viewed at 1:1 Zoom. This will help prevent the noise from inflating the Exported JPEG file size.

When you restore from an itunes backup it doesnt backup music or ring tones. resync from the computer that has the music. If you bought all the songs from iTunes, you can always redownload them but ringtones are a one-time download. Follow the article to redownload them. For the ringtones you can contact Apple to ask for a redownload of them

I have the same problem with my iphone 4 . I solve it with giving permission to the cookies on safari from the settings.
