10.4.6 freezes and I loose all saved data I have been working on for a week

The computer reverts to what I was working on a week ago. Saved files disappear off desktop, Filemaker reverts to to the status of the file a week ago and does not include all the info added since then. I've lost everyhting I was working on. Any help would be appreciated.

Try making your selection from a merged layer.
1) Hold down the alt key, click on the little menu in the upper right corner of the layers window (keep holding down the mouse button) and release the mouse button over "Merge Visible"
2) You now have a new layer that is a merged copy of your other layers
3) Make your selection on this layer, and save the selection.
4) You can hide or remove the merged copy layer when you are done with it if you want to save space
You can only select pixels that exist in the currently active layer, in your multi-layered file you might have transparent areas or something that is causing problems(I can't tell because I don't know what your file looks like)

The application to block scripts actually worsened the problem and I could not correct the situation for a while (no response from Firefox, at all). I have also been through this procedure without any one contacting me, AT ALL.

There does appear to be any support whatsoever from mighty "non caring" FIREFOX & people are getting fed up. We may as well try another system, if they can't be bothered to provide any support for their system, we can't be bothered to use their system.

If you got the Unlocked message it means it was successfully unlocked by AT&T. Apple will not relock or block it. They have no objections to it being used on T-Mobile. It is still under warrantee. Take to an Apple store. They can test it with a SIM from AT&T. If that doesn't work have them replace the phone. Have them verify that the new phone is unlocked. If it does work with the AT&T card then it is a T_Mobile problem.

Artifacts and corruption on Photoshop CC files that have been worked on a lot

I'm having the problem below when working on a Photoshop file created with Adobe Photoshop CC. I have had this issue on 2 different machines and 2 versions of photoshop, working from my hard drive. This is what I get:
As you can see it's totally messed up my photoshop file and when I export out (as a JPEG/PNG etc) it still has the artifacts. I have now had this with 2 different retina Macbook Pros running 2 versions of CC. I've never had this before and have used CS5 for years with no issues and I'm not using a network so I'm thinking it's something to do with CC. Here's when it usually occurs:
- When I have been working on a file a lot, these are mocks for clients and it tends to be happening on the homepage (which has had the most iterations)
- Seems to be connected to smart layers (but not exclusively), when I try and mask with a smart layer I'll get strange banding and some of the text will render with obscure colouring
- It also affects the layers, text layers that cover small areas of the canvas are selectable from nowhere near and they obscure other layers
- I can click into text layers and update the colour and sometimes that will fix them and they re-render normally
- It seems to degrade the more I work on it, the first thing will be small lines, then the layers will obscure other layers (for no obvious reason when trying to select them) and then the colour banding will appear
At the moment is causing me a bit of a headache and I can't see how to get this PSD back without recreating the entire design.
Can someone please help....

Seems strange that I would get the same problem on 2 different macs with the same results. Is there anyway of finding out if it is the ram/hd before splashing out on either fixing it or getting a new Mac? Also like I said I never had this problem with CS5, which I used on one of the macs before I upgraded. I have had my iPhone 4 for a year and a half, with absolutely no issues. I've been downloading, using, and upgrading apps all the while, until suddenly I ran into this issue.
I used a pre-paid credit card to make an in-game purchase, and ever since then I am asked to put Mastercard, Visa, or Amex information into my billing info. I do not have a credit card, I even purchased an iTunes gift card thinking I could use that as a 'payment method' (even though I was simply trying to update an existing free app) and there's no option for it.
Frankly, I'm quite irritated. I wouldn't mind making a new iTunes account, but wouldn't that affect the apps/purchases/saved game info associated with my current account?
How the heck do I fix this issue, I can't use facebook as it requires an update but I can't update without a CC. Ugh.

Make an appointment at the genius bar are your nearest Apple store. At this point there is nothing you can do without a computer, so if you don't have one and don't know anyone who has one that you can use the Apple store is a good fallback.

Help. I have been editing a project for two weeks and now it gets ghosts of ohter images from the project coming up in the wrong places. The thumbnail has the correct image but the image either does not display and its black or an old image or another one shows.

When I have problems like this I do two things. First I shut down and restart iMovie. Sometimes that rejuggles the date. But I am sure you have been doing that in such a long project.
The Second thing I do is delete iMovie preferences, which can get corrupted.

You're running an old version of Safari. Before troubleshooting, try updating it to the latest version: 6.0. You can do this by clicking the Apple logo in the top left, then clicking Software update.
You can also update to the latest version of OS X, 10.8 Mountain Lion, from the Mac App Store for $19.99, which will automatically install Safari 6 as well, but this isn't essential, only reccomended.

I thought it was doing that also. But I found that if I start a new chat with someone I was messaging before, then the old messages re-appear in the messages window.

My computer is broken and I have a new one. I would like to update the software on my ipod touch but im afraid it will sync afterwards and i will loose all my data. Is this the only way?

Update to what? The 3G you want to update? You have ios3 or 4 on that 3G?
Go to a friend, authorize that pc.

Make a backup of your stuff (from the phone. apps/photos/music/blabla). Update your phone. The phone will restore the backup automatically.
