10.4.7 Update won't load

When attempting to update to 10.4.7 the following appears part way through the download process:
"The update "Mac OSX Update (Intel)" can't be installed.
A network error has occurred:ERROR NSURLrrorDomain - 1005 (-1005). Make sure you can connect to the internet, then try again."
I am connected to the internet via a LAN and have not lost that connection during the download process. Can anyone help?

Apple TV update won't load

I've been able to connect and activate my Apple TV -- a process which required using an ethernet cable to bypass my firewall -- and can access Netflix and rent movies, etc via iTunes. However, the update won't load (I've tried 21 times) and I can't access Hulu Plus or my photos.
I'm now on my second Apple TV, having been advised by a Mac computer specialist to take back my first one and exchange it, in case it was the root of my problem; however, I'm having the same issues with the second on as with the first. I exchanged my Apple TV on January 26.
I've had my server connections tested by Time Warner and happily, I'm running at a blazing fast speed; everything on my laptop loads beautifully.
Any help would be appreciated!

Updates won't load in iTunes?

According to the badge, I have 9 app updates waiting for me on my 4s running iOS 6.1.2. However, when I go to the updates screen, it is blank. It just doesn't load. Every other screen in the App Store loads just fine, but not the updates -- regardless of how many are waiting to update. And this keeps happening. It will be fine for a week or so, and then just crap out on the updates screen.
I have tried signing in & out of the App Store.
I have tried shutting down the App Store.
I have tried rebooting the phone.
I have even restored the phone as recently as last week.
But it still keeps happening. And it is very very irritating. I can't chain myself to my computer just to update my apps.

Firefox 3.6.10 update won't load on restart (tried many times) and exits after warning to restart again - how to disable warning so don't have to start twice every time I use Firefox?

I regret agreeing to download Firefox 3.6.10 update, as it is somehow corrupted, and will not load when I restart. Subsequently, every time I start Firefox, it warns "Update Ready to Install", then when I don't restart (if I restart, it won't load) it exits, and I have to start Firefox a second time. Then it works without the warning, but when I exit and start Firefox again, the warning returns and the cycle repeats. This is such a nuisance I have gone back (reluctantly) to Explorer. Is there anyway for me to get rid of this corrupted update and go back to before I downloaded the fateful update?

Dreamweaver CC update won't load

There is an update on Cloud for Dreamweaver CC. When I tried to load it it stopped at 50%. I 'Retryed" it many time and it just won't load. What do I do?

Apps update not working. Was before but latest updates won't load to update.

I have updates waiting to be loaded but when I click on the update tab, it is frozen and won't even bring up the list of what needs updated. Just shows that I have 3 apps that need updates.Has been working until 2 days ago. Tried a restart but still the same issue.

You are not alone. these are just a few of the discussions going on right now about this. There must be a problem on Apple's end and they will have to fix it.

My Netflix won't load. It was perfectly fine but when asked for an update won't load anymore. And my Netflix account is up to date

Having trouble with 3 of my long time apps. When upgraded these apps won't load. They sit at waiting and won't go any further . I am frustrated because Iaid for these apps and now they don't work

What version of iPhoto? Assuming 09 or later:
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

ITunes update won't load on windows 7 starter

I am trying to load the update for iTunes but it isn't working. I go to Help --> Check for update and I get a message that an update is found. I click on Install Update and nothing happens. I've tried rebooting, running iTunes as an administrator and even loading windows updates. Nothing works. I need to update iTunes so that I can load the updates on my iPhone.
Please help.

With that one, try updating using an iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe) downloaded from the Apple website:

Critical update won't load for office 2011 released 2.10.15

This update fixes critical issues.
As soon as it goes through all the install process, it says it was successful, Then it immediatlely shows up as a critical update needed AGAIN.
I can't figure why it will load.

Does the ext directory have the php_oci8.dll? In the original steps the PHP dir is renamed. In the given php.in the extension_dir looks like it has been updated correctly. Since PHP distributes php_oci8.dll by default I reckon there would be a very good chance that the problem was somewhere else. Since this is an old thread I don't think we'll get much value from speculation.

You don't provide enough information. What upgrade? Apple stopped selling the upgrade about 1.5 years ago, now you purchase Logic Pro 9 in the Mac App Store.
If you have an older version, you have to install Logic Pro 9 (ignore all the installer error messages) and then run Software Update to get version 9.1.8. Older versions don't launch on Mountain Lion.

If there are problems with updating or with the permissions then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.

Adobe flash plug-in update won't load.

You-tube and other video sites are blocked as of yesterday for Safari and Firefox with message "Flash out of date" Howver I can't get the updater page (getadobe) to finish loading. It's always stuck on "Step One" with no option to click. Chrome works ok - that must have updated automatically, but what's going on?? We've been having issues with some pages refusing to load for a while, but this is the worst. Have the same issue whether using WI-FI or ethernet. Have also tried rebooting router and modem. I'm not very internet savvy, so any help would be very welcome.

Most recent Firefox update won't load Mobileme mail, contacts, calendar, etc. work.

I have used Firefox for years on a windows box to access Mobileme. Suddenly, after the latest update, I can't get the mail. I get a blank screen that says "loading mail" i (iin a smaller font than the usual notice), but nothing happens and the lower right status bar says "Done". Contacts, and calendar work. Tried Apple support and they had me clear history and cache on Firefox adn then reinstall it. But is still does not work.

This only seems to happen with the "new improved" version of Firefox.
Older version still works just fine.

Mac App Store Updates won't load

My problem is that the Mac App Store shows several newer versions of Apps I own in the "Updates" section. Once I try downloading them an error will be displayed every time. Buying or loading new apps works just fine. Loading Updates in the iTunes store works as well. I only have trouble with Mac App Store updates. Any idea what this could be?
The error message says:
"Die angeforderte URL wurde auf diesem Server nicht gefunden."
"The requested URL could not be found on this server."

I am having the same problem. So far, for me, Apple had no solution to it. Try to download the updates using a different network environment. I only have the above mentioned problem when I am online with my macbook using the hotspot (tethering) option of my iPhone. My iPhone is connected via USB. If I use a different network via ETHERNET, the update works fine.

I just bought v2.1.1 and am trying to update to 2.1.3 - when I try to load it I get an error saying that I need v2.0 or greater to load the update _ I have 2.1.1 - any suggestions? please help! thanks

Thanks for your reply --- No, I didn't move or rename it (actually, after trying to reinstall several times I did rename it because I thought somebody in one of the posts said that that would be a possible solution - no avail... I then reinstalled and left the name as installed - still no luck). Before reinstalling one of the last times I also tried going to the "receipts" folder and trashing the previous Aperture icons - nope, no luck.
I'm wondering if maybe it has something to do with the fact that I tried the 30 day trial back when it was v1.? Anyway, if anybody else has any suggestions I would really love to hear them. It's VERY frustrating. I'm glad that I'm a Lightroom user, I only bought Aperture for it's "book" capabilities. I've never had any issues with Lightroom. Love it!
