Hello,
When I empty the trashcan these days it won't show empty until I actually open it and select the file(s) in there.
Any clue anyone?

Unfortunately the issue manifested itself again and is accompanied by files copied to the desktop not appearing.
At times I will be able to see the file(s) in the Finder, but not on the Desktop.
After a restart all seems fine for a little while after which the problems will reappear.

Text box not empty conditional statement

I've been asked to develop a survey and, in several places, a
score is given for the completion of text box. However, if there is
no text in the box, then a score of zero should be given.
I thought the best way to do this would be to use a hidden
field with a conditional statement saying "if text box is not empty
then score=4, else score=0.
However, firstly I'm not sure how to write this and secondly,
how do you check if a text box is empty?
I think it really calls for some human input but the client
is quite sure this is how he wants it.
The scores are all going to be inserted into a mysql database
and sorted out there, so there may be some fudge available there
but if php could do something nice in the code, that would be
preferable.

Now, the trash can will not empty some of the files deleted from the backup harddrive.

It will not delete.
How do I get the trash can empty of these files?

Yes, the Old Master file has a folder for each year where I find all photos from that specific year. I am attaching a screen shot of the file.
In the meantime i have managed to download all photos (it did not download any video files though in mpg, avi, 3gp, m4v,mp4 and mov format) to a new iphoto library. Unfortunately the photos are quite mixed and often doubled up. I ma considering to purchase iphoto library which checks all duplicates in iphoto. this will save me a lot of time. What do you think?

Yes, I have checked the app folder and there is no imovie in there, there is also nothing in the trash.
I have also checked the HD for imovie and it seems as though it's just gone?

Unable to install IDM 11.1.1.6.0..Issue with ASInstance ..not empty....

Hello IDM experts, please help me. I have Oracle Linux 5.7 64 bit installed on Oracle Virtual box 4.1.10.
I have valid IP address and Domain name and I am able to ping both.
I have successfully installed database 11GR2 (11.2.0.1.0) for 64 bit linux. All issues with OS packages have been resolved. Nothing is ignored. All parameter setting has been followed as per the installation guide by Oracle.
Installed JDK 1.7_03 version linux 64 bit ( I selected this as per the certification matrix ).
Installed WLS 10.3.6 for 64 bit linux
Ran RCU 11.1.1.6.0 and created all required schemas.
Downloaded IDM 11.1.1.6.0 for linux 64 bit.
While installing and configuring,
I have looked into all other postings related to this error and I did not find anything missing in my configuration.
Really appreciate your great help in resolving this issue. It is show stopper for me now.

Since Apple doesn't repair iPhones (they replace them) you will have to take it back to whoever "fixed" it. Since it's been opened by an unauthorized 3rd party, it is no longer eligible for replacement by Apple.

How to wait for a date field to be not empty in Designer workflow

I am working on a workflow and need to pause the workflow to wait until a date field has been completed. I am aware of setting dates to a workflow variable of type string to check for null, but there is no way in the Designer workflow to wait until a workflow variable is not empty.
Does anyone know of a workaround to this?

I agree with Andrej about using a Textfield as a alternative.
But, I think you can try to add a new task (set the date value) into your workflow before other tasks.

Can not empty Trash

Hi there, I have recently had a corrupt iphoto library. I have extracted the pictures and created a new library. After doing this I deleted the old library, which is in my MAC trash (not iphoto trash).
I can not empty my trash and have searched everywhere online for a resolution, these are things I have tried ....help I need to dump this large library.

First, never try to empty the Trash in the shell. It's dangerous and unnecessary, and as you've discovered, it doesn't always work.
It's possible that the external drive is malfunctioning, but before you draw that conclusion, quit iPhoto and try again to empty the Trash.

Oracle 8.0.6 replication - Mlog file in the master does not empty

Data in the log file in the master database does not deleted after the refresh job successfully completed for this table. I also tried the Complete refresh table. this but the log file still is not empty. All records in master table replicated to this remote site fine. What must I do to empty this log file, since it keeps on growing. Please help.

One Mlog could be used by many snapshots (mviews)
This select:

FROM sys.dba_snapshot_logs sl
JOIN sys.dba_registered_snapshots rs ON rs.snapshot_id = sl.snapshot_id
select all mlog and associated snapshots (mviews).
Check for your one, how many snapshots are there.
Do refresh for all snapshots and mlog must be empty if there are no modificatiion of master table.

Optimize application does not empty FAC2 and FACTWB tables

Hello everyone,
I am currently using OutlookSoft 4.2.338 and recently came across the following problem:
Optimize application fails to empty FACTWB and FAC2 tables, even though it says "Successfully finished"
-Whenever I run an optimize process directly (= not scheduled), it takes less than one second and the message "Successfully finished" pops up. However FAC2 and FACTWB are NOT empty
- When I schedule an optimize proces, the log usually states "Fail"... (But not every time, it 's a bit random here)
- The problem occurs with one specific application in one specific appset (that contains 3 applications, the other 2 can be optimized just fine)
- The application contains a fairly large number of records (close to 20 millions) and, yes, some records have a "source" value at 1.
However, the same application, on a different server, with a bigger number of records (and more "1" source values!) optimizes just fine.
- The problem is not appset or server related, as other applications can be optimized without problem
- The application has data imports scheduled every night, and the FAC2 table keeps growing
- Data sent through an Input schedule stay in FACTWB.
Did anyone come across this sort of issue before?
Any suggestion as to how to be able to optimize the application again? (apart from moving the records manually from FAC2 to FACT...)

Unfortunately there is no such table. The only table where some mention of optimization is made is tblPackageLog, where the log of optimization tasks is recorded.

PS: Actually your answers gave me the clue I needed, many thanks! On version 4.2, the table tblDefaults stores the optimization status
The query
select * from tblDefaults
where KEYID ='Optimize'
and APP= App name
showed that the value was somehow set to 1, preventing any optimization. I manually set it to 0, and that did the trick!!!

i import the support pkg SAPKH60007 - SAP_APPL
IT throw error that it have conflict . So i download conflict resolution package.
now i want to put that CRT pkg in queue. but the queue is occupied by SAPKH60007. how to make the queue empty.
