10.5.4 and installed applications

Yesterday I made a fresh installation. I used my 10.5.2 dvds and then upgraded to 10.5.4.
I have 2 users: admin and standard. I obviously install the applications using the admin account. The problem is the following one:
- when an application has been installed, I MUST run it with admin privileges at least once.
- If I don't, every time the standard user opens it the dialog "this application has been downloaded from the internet..." appears. Every time...
- Practically, if I don't want the dialog each time I run an application, I need to run every application at least once as admin.
What should I do?

Lightroom 4.4 to Photoshop CS6, "Error: 1, please uninstall and install application again"

Dear all, I have a Problem to open some Files in Lightroom with the dialog "editing with Photoshop CS6". If I will do this with a RAW File, and Photoshop is not open I becomes the error Message "Error: 1, please uninstall and install application again".
If Photoshop open it works?! But when I will open any JPEG, TIFF or PSD File I have always this error message!
I have this Problem on my iMac after installation a SSD and create a Fusion Drive. MAC OS Version 1.8.3.
My attempt at a solution:
Uninstall and reinstall Lightroom 4.4. and delete the preferences "http://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom/kb/recover-catalog-images-resetting-lightrooms.html#id_90 046"
Uninstall and reinstall Photoshop CS6 (I use the Creative Cloud Version) and delete the Preferences "http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html"
Nothing help
Have someone an Idea?
My Solution: I found the Problem, the Lightroom Katalog have a Problem. I must create a new one and the Problem was solved.

Chas50 I would recommend removing the currently installed Adobe Creative software. You can then install the new versions of the Adobe Creative software included with your membership. I worry about could I download and install applications from Creative cloud when I reinstall my windows?

I have to reinstall my windows, but Im using an adobe pack (ps, id, ai, etc.) that I've downloaded by creative cloud. I worry about could I download and install applications again from Creative cloud without any trouble? Could you share your experieces? THX a lot.

Before you remove anything you should sign out of the Creative Cloud so that it is reset for you when you reinstall and sign in again.

Error downloading and installing Application Manager

I have tried to download and install the Adobe Application manager on to my desktop PC (Windows XP)
First attempt failed with an error, and took me to the Install patch and I now have Application Manager V7
When I try to run it, i get an error saying that Application manager download is corrupt and I need to download it again.. though it just creates the same problem

Downloading and installing Application Server 10g R3

Hi everyone,
I'm trying to download Oracle Application Server 10g R3 and when I open the Oracle link to choose the download option I notice that there's many options to choose. Where I have my Oracle database installed the operative system that I'm using is Windows Server 2008 Standard Edition 32 bit, so which option should I choose to download the Application Server? The one that says: Oracle SOA Suite 10g (10.1.3.5.1) for WebLogic Server (10.3.1) or Oracle SOA Suite 10g (10.1.3.x)?
After having the right application to install, where am I suppost to install Application Server 10g R3? In the same server where I have my Oracle database or should I use another server for this purpose?
Can anyone please help me?

1st..check whether all the services of oracle are started in services.msc(if possible pls specify what all services of oracle can you see in services.msc)
2nd..when you use the command opmnctl startall..what errors do you get..
3rd..can you specify the opmn.logs and ons logs

Downloading and installing applications

I can download applications via the web browser but cannot get them to install - specifically, I am trying to install FLIP4MAC so I can play Windows Media files via Quicktime. I download to the desktop and when I double click to install it keeps asking me which application I want to use. I double checked and tried some other applications and cannot get any to install - I have full admin access - Is there something that I am missing in a system setting - appreciate any help on this

If your Utilities are gone, which is what I suspected, then you'll need to re-install them using Pacifist. The alternative is an Archive and Install. Either of these options is relatively straight forward.

I am trying to develop experimental HLS server and for that i need following cmd-line tools for my MAC-OSX-10.6.8.
I have read some where that these tools are there from OSX version number 10.6 but I have only "mediastreamsegmenter"command on my MAC machine.
I am very new to MAC environment and I don't know how to download/install new libraries and applications for MAC.
Can someone please provide some help,
from where to download and install these cmd-line tools?

Could you tell where can I find script to create exe install application.
I created workspace + application + schema with several table and now I would like to export it to an another server. I already used export application / export workspace / export CSS....throught htmlDb page, but without data. I don't want to create a Dmp export each time I need to export appliation.

Well, Oracle XE comes with Application Express
version 2.1.
Up until then you can only export the application and
the CSS / Static files / Themes.
Starting with Apex 2.2 you can also export the
required database objects and the data. But this
feature is not available in the current release of
Oracle XE.
You would have to use exp/imp or expdp/impdp or use
DBMS_METADATA to extract the DDL
(http://www.oracle-base.com/articles/9i/MetadataAPI.ph
p).
Or you could use Toad or other tools that help you
extract the ddl and the data.

~Dietmar.You can get the database scripts and such built, you just need to do them seperately.. I would suggest getting SQL Developer installed, use it to get the DDL scripts to build you tables and database objects in a script.

How to give permission to user to run and install application like data card or modem

Hi,
when a standard user try to use an Data card (airtel 3G Dongle), windows 7 prompts for a administrator password to run the application.
I have to go and type admin password each time when that person uses the dongle. Is there any way that i can give permission for that user account only to run that application without admin password.
I don't want to add him to administrator group and then it will be a mess.
please help me out here............

I would check to see if there is software that can be downloaded to the PC from the manufacturer. I am assuming your device is a "plug and play" device. The manufacturer might still have the device drivers for install on their website.
Installing the drivers manually should alleviate the problem
Otherwise, you can make the changes in Group Policy to solve the problem

My iphone3 stopped updating and installing applications.

I bought my iphone3G is 2.5 years ago and used it with no problems since. Few days ago the App Store quoted 6 applications need to be updated (as usual). So I took the neccesary steps. But few seconds after that, all actions stopped without starting. I tried the same thing 3-4 times but there was no change. I turned off the phone, waited, turned it on and tried again. No change. Then I connected the phone with itunes and clicked "update" in Summary. It said: "Your device is upto date." Then I resetted my phone to factory settings and started all over again. But, still the same, no change. I don't know what to do next. Please help!

Downloading and installing on admin account vs standard account

What is the difference for downloading and installing files when:
logged in on an admin account
logged in on a standard account (using the admin details when prompted)
I ask this, because when I am in my standard account, the downloaded files and installed applications are owned by the standard account. Does this affect how the files run on other standard accounts?

In other words, is it better to do all downloading and installing whilst logged into the admin account? The Ownership & Permissions is stopping me from doing this when logged in on my standard account. There are many other standard accounts, and I am concerned that my standard account will not be equal. This is because of the permissions issues outlined previously.

C6-01 error when downloading and installing applic...

whenever i download and install applications from ovistore it doesn't continue and ends up as error. and when i tried to sync again my phone to nokia acount (the one where nokia sends link to your phone to sync it) i never receive the message. the instruction in the manual syncing doesn't seem so helpful as i can't find the "To create the profile, select "Menu", then "Connect", then "Sync" part. what would be the best thing to do?
