10.5.4: Still the same problems with Adobe CS3 files
I updated to OS X 10.5.4 on a latest generation 24" iMac with Adobe CS3 on it. This is the only Mac with 10.5 installed in a publishing company with 10 Macs, all with Adobe CS3 and all working always with files on the same file server. The other 9 Macs have OS X 10.4 installed.
The iMac with 10.5 had massive problems with CS3 files since OS X 10.5.2 - frequently existing Photoshop files disappeared from the server after the "Save" command, frequently "Save As" was not possible in Photoshop, sometimes Indesign crashed when files were getting saved on the server - none of this is happening on the other Macs with OS X 10.4.
On the first couple of days with 10.5.4 at least in Photoshop exactly the same problems: Existing files disappear from the server after the "Save" command, "Save As" is often times not possible.

Why don't you try updating with the larger installer, the combo updater. The combo updater is generally more helpful when troubleshooting a problem.

Please download it from http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=coldfusion&promoid=DJDUK use your Adobe ID and password to login and download CF11.
Let me know in case you face any issue while downloading it, if you get any error try another browser.

I've downloaded newer Bios update but it's 13 MB... it's obvious that I can not have
in floppy disk and I'm a little bit uncomfortable of updating bios from CD-rom .
But what else can I do, besides updating Bios to get out of this Live update from start-up.

Hello, Several months ago I called for help with the error fault that continiusly happens while working with my notebook. You asked to give you the serial number and things like that. I ve had a busy life and didnt work much on my notebook. Now I am working with it every day and the problems still are existing. Mixed colours and text on the screen, audio that make a terrible noise and the notebook that crashes and gives a bleu screen. I hope in a while the whole problem will be solved! Because I want to use a good working notebook! I ve paid 600euro's and its a big name hp so I didn't expect to have this terrible problems! When their is no definetly solution I logically ask for a new one! Whole this case gives me bad feeling, hopefully you can make me happy again and I can work peacefully with my hp!

Disappointed, still the same problem with ITunes 7.1
Finally an Itunes update, I galloped to install it and see whether they'd fixed my problem. Alas no...
As i said back then:
Itunes 7.0.2 has not fixed the problem whereby I connect my Ipod and add some music, after which it starts to 'determine gapless playback info', and freezes shortly afterwards. If I catch it quick I can hit the grey x, otherwise I have to disconnect the Ipod to regain any control over Itunes.
My Itunes library is stored on a 250GB Lacie Minimax HD (USB2). Since my Ipod can't handle gapless playback anyway, why is it trying to determine it?

I've switched from Google to Firefox because I was so tired of Google crashed all the time. Now I have the same problem with Firefox, Bank id, file downloading, accessing Web pages, none of it works. What is the error?
Ronnie.When Firefox crashes, it usually records information about what was happening at that moment and displays the Mozilla Crash Reporter. Are you seeing that, or is Firefox just freezing and you're killing it?
Assuming you have crashes, you can submit that data to Mozilla and share it with forum volunteers to see whether it points to the solution. Please check the support article "[[Firefox Crashes]]" (especially the last section) for steps to get those crash report IDs, and then post some of the recent ones here.
If that's not possible, have you tried Firefox's Safe Mode? That's a standard diagnostic tool to deactivate extensions and some advanced features of Firefox. More info: [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode]].
You can restart Firefox in Safe Mode using either:
* "3-bar" menu button > "?" button > Restart with Add-ons Disabled

Hey, I'm trying to install Adobe Flash on my Macbook Air. At a certain point it asks for my password but it doesn't take it. So I cannot continue installment. I have reset my password already. Still the same problem. How can I continue to install when it keeps asking for a password it doesn't recognize over and over again? How many times do I have to reset it then? Advice please
You have to provide your computer's administrator password in order to install Flash Player.

I can't send emails from Mail. I have three different accounts set up and have the same problem with all. The mail just sits in my outbox. All worked fine until Yosemite upgrade. Recent update has not fixed problem.
I have been experiencing the same problem. My mail app won't even open on my Late 2011 Macbook Pro. It will show as open, but the app will never actually show up.

My iPod Nano 7th Generation couldn't be detected by iTunes when I plugged in. I tried resolving the issue by uninstalling the iTunes and then install it back again but yet still the same problem exist. Can you please help me to solve this issue? Applications should not disappear all by themselves.
If they are then that coud indicate serious problems with your hard drive.
Backup everything up as quickly as possible.
Using Disk Utility verify your system disk.

I also have had several phone calls to Customer Service with no luck. I stopped in a store in Phoenix when I was traveling last week and I was told I should try to resetting my phone to factory settings. I was told that as long as I log back into my Gmail account that all of the apps I downloaded previously would be available to me. So I took the plunge and reset my phone. Yes it is working great. I was surprised to find some of my downloaded music that had mysteriously disappeared suddenly reappeared. The bummer, I can't seem to figure out how I can access the apps I previously downloaded. I only care about the ones I paid for.
